TWW News

This time I will be joined by the duo of GBK16 and Wolf for this TWW. In this episode I will be giving a rundown of the news that has happened since the last one and the history of Ascension. I am not one for long winded introductions so straight to the news.

Mannetosen.

Now as you have no doubt heard 100 different versions of why Mr Tosen left the game and you really had to take a mix of the different versions to find out what actually happened. Just to clarify this though first, Mannetosen asked to be deleted; he was not banned or actively forced to leave the game by Mike. If anything the opposite could be said but I’ll get on to that part later on.

As most of you guys know Mannetosen left the game last year due to the fact the game was no longer fun for him and he was going through uni, he also had other personal reasons (good reasons) to why he had pretty much no time for the game. Chris Meat asked him on facebook to come back to the game because Meat was planning that 10 vs 10 thing against BHP and thought it might spark some interest back in the game for Tosen. It didn’t pan out however Tosen created some fighters and scoured the FA for some guys just to keep active with. This didn’t take much effort on his part and at the time, so he would hop on and do some shit to keep himself entertained.

Now as most people no doubt know Mannetosen likes to poke fun at people; I mean this was the guy who would use his TWW article to rip the piss out of an alliance or a certain person. His preferred method of torture is making what appears to be a trolling comment which is actually on topic and allowing that person to derail their own topic. Now contrary to popular belief Mannetosen was not banned for trolling; actually Marky was the only mod to warn us about it. The only time Tosen did get pissed off at that was when his Super Meat Boy got hidden; however GBK sorted that out as one of his last acts as mod.

Mannetosen’s interest in the game started to wavier over the past few months as it does with most people who return to the game as it takes a long time to get back to the top. It had gotten to the stage where to quote the man “setting sliders felt like a chore”; a feeling that most of us at some point will have went through. To summarize his thoughts the game just wasn’t enjoyably anymore.

Now most people know that he was fined 30 days VIP which initially didn’t annoy him. However, after some conversations with him it started to annoy him and the tipping point was when Mike was considering allowing Humors to be allowed to play the game. This was Mike’s reasoning behind Mannetosen getting fined was the time it took to create a delete function which I think most people will agree with should have been there in the first place. Humors has taken more of Mike’s time than I think anything else in this game has and considering the amount of people he has managed to piss off really ticked off Tosen. Tosen did send an email to Mike saying give me back my 30 days or delete me, however after a conversation with Mike, Mannetosen made peace with the decision.

I tried to convince Tosen to stay, offered him to log into my account and set the sliders for Rinky vs Leo 3 so he could get his revenge but by this point trying to convince him to stay was moot. I mailed him the day he deleted his account and still talk to him on a regular basis including right now while I write this during which he said that he couldn't even tell you a single fighter on his roster which just shows how interested he was in the game. The one thing I want to stress is the fact Mike had no hand in Mannetosen’s decision to leave the game, so Humors can fuck off.

Ascension : The History

So as we no doubt all know Ascension has been a top three org for the better part of three years. During the history of Ascension it had 4 owners, Skinny Vince, Myself, Crisse and Scott Davies with many other people working and helping run the org.

So let’s start from the beginning, Skinny Vince bought a relatively small org known as Pro-Valiance Fighting. This was seen as a step down by some people at his former company Blitzkrieg and it caused him to get a bit of the blame for the fall of the big Blitz org in Hilo by a certain former player. Vince had a vision and rebranded the org Ascension and got to work keeping in some of the talent in the org and bringing in other up and coming talent.

The fall of the Blitz Hilo org left a gap in the market for another elite org at the top and Skinny Vince aimed to take that spot by merging with DFC (this could be wrong as it was just before I joined the game) bringing in guys like Offenhard, Holyshit and Royer, merging in Carnage which brought over Yance Sackett  and signing top talent from the Blitz Hilo org such as Gentleman Ghost and Sunny Disposition. The acquisition of this top talent with the current talent already in Ascension seen it rise in the ranks to compete with Syn and NFC as the top dogs in the game. As the PPV code was broken by NFC, Vince decided to turn it up another notch and booked the big arena every week for a month. This was seen as one of the biggest risks in tycoon history as far as orgs go; if it failed then Ascension would go down the gutter.

This did not happen as Ascension continued to hold 2 and three hour events becoming the top org in the game for the better part of 6 months before NFC and Blitz Rio caught up. Sadly during this time Skinny Vince was heading for the door, he was really burned out and by March I had completely taken over the operations in Ascension, a month later Vince passed the org over to me for nothing. Shiv left the org to run the LoL after a disagreement with who the org got passed to. In this time frame we had managed to sign some big named fighters such as War Machine and Victor Creed from the millionaires tournament and bought UCLA bringing over Richard Dawkins. Ascension then went on to acquire DBC from Shortfuse and IHHU bringing them both on to staff into Ascension and over the next 6 months ran a 3mil tournament and also the latter stages of the LoL. Blitz overall had won the war against NFC as it started to die down but I had found myself being burned out by running the org also by the end of the year Shortfuse and IHHU had took over running the org. While this was happening it was decided that Eminance would merge into Ascension with Crisse and Life taking over control of Ascension.

Everything was going smoothly until Life decided to abruptly leave the game and left Crisse alone to run the org. Crisse continued running the org until around about April when he handed the org back to me till I could find someone else to take control of the org. A month later Scott Davies Geezer’s Palace had merged into Ascension with Scott Davies taking control of the org. Scott held the ship steady for the rest of the time making some big merges with UPG: Vegas being one of the biggest to keep the ranks fresh. Scott had an ever revolving door of people helping him with Ascension from Luan to Coton and even myself going back to help. Scott however was clearly being burned out and before Ascension perished had finally decided to merge the org into CEC bringing the end of one of the greatest orgs the game has seen.

This was all from a business stand point; as far as the fighters go Ascension had some of the best fighters to grace the game. Victor Creed was fighter of the year going undefeated for the full year, Taj al Din who was there from the start of Ascension would go down as one of the best light heavyweight fighters in the game. Matt Murdock was one of the most underrated fighters the game had ever seen also consistently one of the top middleweights for a year and a half. Danny Power was also an Ascension fighter who made it eventually to the #1 p4p mark. There were numerous fighters really who made Ascension one of the best orgs in the game and their superfight record stood for itself. I would do more on the fighters but I am running short on time and everyone else has finished their parts for the TWW so I will leave it at that.

Wolf’s Hole Segment

With only 1 month left of the Island and with myself running Solitude the #1 org on the Island, so for my debut on TWW I will give my thoughts on this season of the Island.

THE ORGS

There has been 5 orgs on the Island so far, but it has wittled down to 4 as the end approaches. Zyd’s org closed down a week ago. At the time of this writing the #4 org is EMMA, who operate SHW, HW and LHW but all of their divisions are very shallow. I’m not really it looks like the owner doesn’t really know what he is doing as he is still struggling to fill out the 1k seaters.

The premier org of last season’s Island was without a doubt Highland Games who are currently very successful on the main part of the game, so when Highland Challengers was announced for this season many people probably expected HC to do very well. However, for some reason or another they are constantly #3 in the org rankings. They do have some very successful fighters there but in my humble opinion, they have not lived up to the Highland name. It is well run and my guess for their failings is due to the strong competition from other orgs and the shallow divisions.

The top two orgs have interchanged the #1 Island org a few times, but at this moment, The Leftovers are currently #2. It’s a very well run org, owned by Torrelio, and they operate the LHW, MW and WW divisions, with most of their champions #1 in their respective weight classes. I do not have any fighters there but from what I have been told, they offer a very high paying contracts for the island but with no signing bonuses. I feel Torrelio has restricted himself by only having 3 divisions, although they are by far the deepest divisions on the Island, and he obviously knows what he is doing with the numbers for the org which has allowed him to have the success he has had. All in all it looks a good org and if he decides to start up again for the next season I would recommend he open up a few more divisions.

Currently #1 is Solitude, and I will probably be horribly biased here as I am running the org. Without trying to come off as a huge cbomb there is not much I can say. I think I run it good, generally the feedback has been mostly good with 1 or 2 cunty managers. The strongest division imo is the LHW division, lots of guys with massive hype and good skills. A few of the divisions in Solitude were/are very shallow, most noticeably the SHW and LW divisions. It seems not many people opted to make a LW fighter as the only other org with a LW division is HC who’s division is also very shallow and top heavy. Our SHW division was always really shallow and I’m not too sure what my reasoning was for opening it.

 ID Org roundup

One of the biggest things in MMA Tycoon right now are ID restricted orgs. Love them or hate them, they have become a staple of MMA Tycoon and provide a platform for fighters to get their career started, and help them to standout amongst fighters of their own age. While the unrestricted orgs are well known by many, it can be a struggle for people to know what is happening in terms of ID orgs, so I am here to give a rundown of the ID orgs and the leading orgs in each level.

200k - 230k

These orgs have found their guys hitting the skill cap in 2015, and each of them has been finding a different approach in it. In this ID range, two of them are currently in the top 10 orgs, Insanity 220k at #9 and Troid EP at #10. Both of these orgs have already started with running PPV’s, and have taken a lead over their competition. AMSFC 200k and UNFC 229k are both just behind, but all four orgs hold the power positions in this range, and it will be interesting to see how all of them develop over the coming months.

230k - 260k

The highest ranked org in this range is currently Highland Games 257k, although they benefit immensely from the Island hype they have brought off The Island which has seen them begin PPV recently. Outside of their very niche roster, there are some very strong orgs that will be ones to look out for in the future. At 240k, you have LFC Hilo and Legacy both inside the top 20, with Legacy being a relatively new org having set up in July. Imperial 240k is lacking behind at the moment, but could rise with enough effort. USFC 248k is another org that has some exciting talent that can compete at the top one day, and Ring of Violence 255k squeaks into the top 30 orgs worldwide with some good events.

260k+

Currently at 260k, there are 3 orgs that are leading right now. SPI: Helsinki, Tradition Fight Club and Havoc Fighting League are all close right now, and there was recently a rumour that SPI: Helsinki could merge with Havoc but nothing came of that. Havoc has seen La Grande and Executioner merge with them, and recently partnered with EVO and Troid EP, but SPI: Helsinki and Tradition are highly competitive orgs that are battling for supremacy. MMA Gods and Dissolution are among the other orgs in this range, and are not far behind the leading orgs.

Defo agree with HC. Think a big part of the problem is we've basically had 3 completely different guys running it as well so it really got disjointed. A lot more mistakes with events as well because for a new guy to get brought in, one guy had to go inactive and stuff. I can tell you personally it sucks a camel dick looking into an Island org you're involved with from the outside.

Leftovers was the real surprised. They joined late and as the name suggests, picked up the Leftovers. They somehow have developed that into a cracking org, although Solitude clearly rules the roost.

HG's last PPV only did 30k profit so I guess I'm not exactly boasting the same way I did after our second PPV :(

Wrong actually. Your sfc org started up in August 2013, AMS FC started up in May 2013, so they are the longest surviving org of that ID restriction. I was holding onto one org per actual ID restriction for that range or else I would have rambled on and it wouldn't have made much of a point. AMS FC is ranked 12th, while SFC is 28th, so they got the nod. As for the jab about links, I didn't even mention a single gamma org, while it seems both Troid EP and AMS FC haven't actually received major benefit in terms of fighters from their respective partnerships so their success is pretty independent, particularly given both orgs (AMS is particular) have given fighters to their partnered orgs.

As for Hummus, he may not have acted out under the "Detonator" name during this time, but he sure as hell was still causing shit under his Humors name.

Anyway, I hope to do something like a roundup of the ID action every so often so odds are, sfc will get a mention in the next one.

Everyone who plays the game knows that this guy is full of shit. Mannetosen has supported me from day one and he has helped me the most in the game and tried to get me back about the same amount of time Dinooo has lied in forum and thats a lot. Mannetosen left the game because he was bored and cut 30 days from his account and it has nothing to do with me. I was banned because Dinooo cried to Mike that he would leave the game if I was allowed to play and Mike did confirm me of that same as Mannetosen said to me that Dinooo did it. I know Dinooo is mad at me because he didndt get any support from Mannetosen when he lied in forum that I had messaged his mother on FB and Mannetosen actually confirmed that he is lying but he can go and cry to Mike because no other one gives a shit about him anyway. And of course its sad that top manager like Mannetosen leaves the game because of dumb decision by Mike when for example the same guy who cried and lied about me messaging his mother did actually insult Bjorns mother in the buzz but  I guess Mike has better things to do than to make this game better. Good luck to Mannetosen and thanks for all the stuff he has helped me with.

There Mannetosen supports my comeback and then leaves the game because Mike did consider to let me play? Doesnt moke to much sense.

I said you tried to contact, never at any time did i say you managed to contact me or any of my family. You contacted some ginger guy from Inverness.

Tosen was pissed because he got fined 30 days vip where as you were getting considered to be allowed to play the game again. Now Tosen spoke to Mike about it and made his peace with the decision of him getting fined 30 days. I think most of that was because he just didn't give a shit about the game, which i have made perfectly clear through-out the article that what happened above didn't figure into his calculation to leaving the game, but it was however mentioned as a reason why he might have left and i wanted to clear it up that it didn't factor into his decision to leave the game. It was pretty much finding the game a "chore".

Mannetosen said and this is a direct quote "didn't mind if Humors is allowed back" and in another part of the conversation he was complaining about the decision to fine him 30 days when Mike was considering allowing someone who has cost him literally weeks of time.

I'd also like to thank you Humors, with the what 10 different accounts and many hours mods had to be online to remove your retarded posts you have proven one thing; you really haven't changed and still cannot be trusted to act like a reasonable person.

Goodbye Humors.

Leftocers was the best org in the island ever. Best contracts and more than fair fights. If they started earlier I believe they'd have the majority of the islands top fighters.

260k id is dominated by spi helsinki imo. They got the strongest roster.

260k has a lot of competition at the moment. I would put SPI: Helsinki behind Tradition Fight Club, with Havoc Fighting League in the mix as well. Couple of other 260k orgs like Ultimate Pit Fighting and Dissolution are there as well. Takes more than a strong roster to be the top org.

Well if he said "didn't mind if Humors is allowed back" why are you saying that he left the game because of me? Why are you lying that is my question. And didnt you read what Mannetosen said? I can also give you a quote and bold the important part.

''To be fair, the time humors supposedly was gonna message dinooo's mother (which really was some poor ginger from Iverness) he never actually did it, nor did he intend to. humors and I had a private conversation going during that entire thing.''

And why are you lying again? You said Mike did access your your account and did see where was the messages coming from. Clearly that says you had messages there from me where now you say I have never contact you or any of your friends or family on FB. And there is a equate form you.

''Mike was also able to access my account and see where the message came from etc.''

Need to say something here.

Can you please stop with this repeatitive stuff and move it along to Private PM`s. I dont know what happend at all, just two sides telling the event from each of there sides. But i have a feeling this got talked and discussed a lot over and everybody knows where they stand. I really cant read about this anymore and to be honest (not just here, but once in a while somewhere else), move it to an off topic section of the forum or something, if you dont want to talk about it in PM`s. All this starts to anoy me. Mike made a decision, so start living with it.

An quoting stuff out off context never really convinced me off anything.
