"Catch wrestling Formula" ripped, anyone?

Hey guys!

I am back to mat, training bjj again after a forced hiatus (shoulder and hip injury).

I just downloaded Ryan Hall material and Maia's "Science of Jiu Jitsu" to help me study my game and try to find myself in today's meta.

Since I bring a considerable judo background (Im a judo brown belt and a bjj blue belt), I already play a much different game than the dynamic "open/de la riva/lasso guard berimnolo shenanigans" I've been seeing inside the gym. Im more stallkng, brute strength control based kinda player, and I did enjoy the freebies I saw from Neil Melanson's catch wrestling system. Does anyone around here know where I can find it for download?

PS: I know. Its piracy. Its wrong and if I like the stuff I should support the guy. Fuck you very much.

I literally just watched Ryan Hall’s masterpiece submission over BJ Penn last night.

Hall is fucking magic, I wish he was a more active MMA fighter.

I’ve never seen his or melanson’s training systems or anything.

I have my brown belt in Judo as well and also Blue belt in BJJ, that’s funny we’re the same. I also trained Muay Thai for 3 years and boxed for 10 years.

Hall's DVDs are great instructional videos.

Neil Melanson (Blackzilllians grappling coach) also has really neat ones: bottom half guard and the craddle as a underhook sit-up escape counter, p.ex.

I also trained a lil bit of thai, box, TKD and karate, but not that much. The striking art I trained the most was Capoeira, but that was a fucking long time ago!

I gotta admit I find Hall's last performance butt scratching the floor for 15 min with that leglock threat not quite amusing.

Sakuraba vs Carlos Newton is what I call "great MMA grappling match"

I will take a look at these! Actually, I wanted to try some catch wrestling techniques at Gi first and see if it fits. This way I have less trouble adapting when I take the gi off

If you're looking for no-gi instructionals Lachie Giles - High percentage chokes and Craig Jones - Z guard encylcopedia are quite good.
Don't know if you can rip them but they're available on BJJ fanatics.

P.S. Can't stand watching Hall in MMA fights, or Chase Hooper. Enjoying watching Maia though
