  1. Probably April. 6 month season Aug-Jan, tournament Feb, usually a month gap after the tournament.
  2. The Island could use at least three new gyms: there are 100+ fighters in two of the gyms. edit: Well, there was... before Endgame Combat set itself to close this week. So, yeah, definitely a gym.
  3. I almost made it; it's still the first for me, but not the server.

  5. I'll bring an 18yo or two to each division. And a nutrition company. My idea from before was to run an 18-only three-headed org for KT, TWGC and MMA on The Island; then have optional crossover events/tournaments. It'd be interesting putting the best KT and TWGC guys in an MMA bout. That's a buttload of work, though.
  6. Then remove the monthly ordering cap or change it from 2500 to 9999. I've been back for a year now and twice I've seen one player completely fuck the game for months.
  7. Your do-nothing suggestion is absolutely ridiculous.
  8. Island fuckery. Continued fuckery off-Island. It's too coordinated and overlaps too much to be anything but organized fuckery. If I can tell you're running a multi scheme, and the only tool I'm using is my Island nutrition company, it has to be blatant. Once I released upgraded products, the old stuff was almost exclusively purchased by non-VIP managers created within a couple days of each other, all with five Island fighters, all with a similar theme (wwe/musicians/actors/pop culture, historical figures, jokes, etc.), all signed to 301st. I distinctly recall messaging a couple Island promoters when it was obvious to me that 301st Spartan was a multi org, and provided them with IDs that were blatant multis: I stood to benefit monetarily from their fuckery and knew Mike wasn't gonna stop it so I partnered up with their private gym, but the promoters should know not to sign these guys for fear of sabotage via blatantly bad sliders that make low-rated fights. If someone is willing to create literal hundreds of fighters to fuck with the system, they're willing to take other seemingly-unbelievable acts to achieve... whatever goals. The scale of that operation would be impressive if it weren't so pathetic.
  9. I've been around a few years now and this has always been my complaint. It's not changing. I (c'mon, let's be real: my dad) bought a new 4100 sq ft house 28 APR; in the last 30 days, we've: torn out all the carpet and subflooring and replaced them with hardwood; re-sided the house; replumbed all three bathrooms; and cleaned over 15 years worth of grime and filth off almost everything. I doubt he's still working on the bathroom. As long as he keeps running The Island at a reasonable frequency, I'll be back... probably. This was the first year someone took extreme multi fuckery to The Island, so it might be time to quit playing the game until Mike feels like being an active part of it again. I already quit giving him my money and only go VIP when someone else wants pays for it (exchange, VIP agreements) when it became obvious he was more interested in fighting with me about how "cartoony" my custom avatars were rather than dealing with cheaters.
  10. He's about 10 years too late to the internet. This whole thing went tits up a while ago, homie; sincerity and thoroughness are dead: long live memes and emoji.
  11. I've noticed that it's possible to release your fighters at the end of the Island season without choosing a relocation option; this effectively removes them from the game while keeping them active, putting them in permanent limbo. It's probably better to default to an actual location than have guys half disappear from the game. Either that, or make it possible for us to relocate guys who have no current base or location.
  12. That recent influx is from me; I set up shop in The Island when I came back 6-8 months ago and all the Island fighters I kept ended up at your gym and spar a bunch. The other half of my roster is at Kap, in Amsterdam too. All the multis from The Island went to Hilo and Helsinki.
  13. This is a big reason why I like The Island over the rest of the game: it's new every six months and the playing field is as level as it's going to get. Plus, you get more of the obvious Boxer vs. Wrestler type fights, which tend to be more fun to "watch" in pbp than evenly-contested supermen neutralizing each other to a decision.
  14. Six months after the season started (Nov), the 1-month tournament should start. That should probably be over in May. When the next season starts after that is a bit of a guess: maybe July?
