Why You Should Be a Mentor...

Getting straight to the point. Lucky lefty was my mentor and taught me the slider, fighter creation game. Under his tutelage I was able to achieve the #1 rank in mentors by finishing my career at 33-2. Granted all my fights were QFC but regardless the record is still impressive.

I'd like to thank lucky lefty from the bottom of my heart for responding to my numerous pms helping a returning manager excel at this game. What I am about to do will hopefully motivate more people to become a mentor to help new guys just like Lucky helped me. I am giving my mentor ALL of my currency which is equivalent to $1,084,435.56.

I just don't have the time to play this game working 12 hour shifts, being a married man, playing for a semi-pro football team, managing a madden franchise and dealing with the influx of console games that's coming out. I just don't have the time anymore

Thank you Lucky...We did it. And for that...Enjoy the funds.

Wow I really didn't realize you were leaving bro!

Sad to see you go for sure. Although the cash is nice I would have much rathered you stick around to develop your fighters as well as your slider skills and game knowledge. But if you are already decided then maybe there is no convincing you :weeping:

Just remember that whenever you want you can come back to this game and start up again just like you did this time around and your skills will always be needed around here. You had a great clothing/design business and some really great startup fighters and it would have been interesting to watch their careers progress along with your top notch company.

I will think of this cash as a long term loan that you can reclaim if you ever decide to come back. We will welcome you back with open arms if you ever decide to and I hope you do :medieval:

I wish you all the best in your endeavours Sir Heartless

And remember kids: We must always push the limits to which we think we are bound!

Hey all. First off, I want to apologize to the admins of this prestigious website, and to anyone who may be annoyed that some idiot resurrected a 4 year old thread. Please note, 4 years have passed since I've been here. I just wanted to thank lucky personally but this forum didn't let me access his in game profile so I can write him directly. If he's still playing this game can someone please link him to this thread and read the message below.

"Hey bro, 4 years have passed since I've logged on to this game. Throughout the years I checked up on this website to see how the game has been progressing, and to see how you've been doing. I'm glad to see that your mentor record win % is still in tact. I know this may sound corny, but 4 years later I still appreciate what you did for me way back then. I just never had a chance to say thank you again, till now.

Update, I still work 12 hour shifts (LPN), Still married (6 years now), I still play semi-pro football (last year), and most importantly due to the skills I harnessed with this website, I was able to start my own video/graphics company 3 years ago. (i won't name drop the company since i don't know the forum rules).

Anyways, The time is near when I'll come back to the game, But I wanted to leave this message to let you know I still remember and I appreciate what you did for me bro. I'm glad this game is still up and running. Enjoyed every day logging in here, checking my fighters, harassing Lucky about sliders, and making fight card graphics and managing my old clothing company. I don't even remember what the name of it was. Oni i think. Not even sure. Haha!

In contrast, continue to do what you do bro. I still check on this website from time to time. And remember, "We must always push the limits to which we think we are bound."

P.S - Again, sorry for posting in a 4 year old thread. You guys can delete this as long as lucky read the message. Apologies again.

- Your #1 Mentee

Honestly the only thing that's changed with me in the game is that now I have a top P4P fighter.

In real life I started persuing standup comedy here in Montreal and I'm going to school.

Nothing much else has changed, still addicted to this game although I log in less frequently and spend less time obsessing over sliders and fights.
