j666
my fave fighter ever...sad. oh well, he was prime badass for way long. gotta do what he's gotta do. and yeah, I like Hendricks but I hate all the stupidass beard hype bullshit. I hope lawler knocks him back to boston and shaves his beard while he's out cold. lol

verbalkint
I expect Condit vs MacDonald 2 on the same card for the next shot, UFC screwing Brown btw.
SteelPenn
Lawler? Really? What a joke. I do not like Hendricks at all. Condit is the top guy in that weight class with GSP gone. Look at the fight metrics stats on the Condit vs Hendricks fight. Condit clearly won that fight. Hendricks got 6 takedowns in that fight and that's it and won the fight, screw him. Either one of these two fighters Hendricks or Lawler are paper champs. Condit will take the belt when he gets his shot and keep it for a long time. 1

Mystery
GSP takes a break from that fighting nonesense to think about the finer things in life
Manta
Wow, i did not see that coming. It's nice to see a fighter retire before getting washed up and punch drunk for a change. I would have liked to see some closure between Hendricks and him, but like someone else said, he did enough to deserve our respect. What i'd like to see is Condit vs Lawler, to determine a contender against Hendricks.
Guest
It's a shame to see him go, but he had a great career. Hopefully, we'll see him back in action one last time at some point in time, maybe with Hendricks.
Jacman
Now with GSP gone I think Condit will takeover this division. He lost to Hendricks(I gave him the fight) but that was a really close fight and I think he will improve on his takedown defense for the next time he faces him. If GSP does come back I would have to give him the edge over anyone because he's the true champ. Sad to see him go; in my opinion he is the greatest mma fighter ever. Ramirez
even though it was kind of on the cards i am still shocked, i hope GSP comes back at some point. hendricks vs lawler should be fun though.
Ramirez
and then the winner of condit vs brown to be next in line!
angrybird275
The only problem I see with Condit is his takedown defense. He was taken down at will by a completely exhausted Hendricks. You can't let that happen and win fights.

handgrenaide
Lawler a joke? Took out GSP's prodigy.
Manta
I expect Condit vs MacDonald 2 on the same card for the next shot, UFC screwing Brown btw. I'm not saying he doens't deserve it, but there's now way the UFC will give Macdonald a chance at a title shot that quickly. He's the next Jon Fitch. --- Lawler would have more chance against Hendricks than Condit... Carlos would just leg kick him to a stoppage. Guest
Seeing as Lawler ate like 20 power leg kicks from Manhoef in the span of 30 seconds and didn't die screaming I don't see Condit stopping him with leg kicks.

Eveas
GSP looks like he has suffered some brain trauma recently with the lost chunks of time. I think it is a good time to retire before he takes any more damage. He is still young and rich. Hr should enjoy it. He earned it.
AK47
Lawler would have more chance against Hendricks than Condit... Carlos would just leg kick him to a stoppage. lawler ate 30 power leg kicks from manheof. Manheof is in contention for hardest hitter in mma/kickboxing history . Condits baby kicks won't do shit
HalifaxUndead
^Yeah lol I dont think leg kicks are going to stop Lawler. Ill be rooting for Lawler here, all of Hendricks complaining has kind of made me dislike him.

Ramirez
just heard Dana White say he was trying to make Diaz vs Condit 2 happen on the same night as Hendricks vs Lawler but Diaz turned it down. he ma come back around May Dana said which would be great as there are some good fights for him out there. i would love to see Diaz vs MacDonald! Guest
Gsp retiring this way is better than hanging on until he goes out like chuck Liddell. He's earned the right to call it when he wants to call it, he doesn't owe anyone anything.
