How is it possible to roll so many bad noobs?

Since 350k I've created 24 noobs.

Of those, only 1 so far is a guaranteed keeper.

2 Cuts easy

9 Powerful

3 slow learners

3 Strong

1 No morale

1 Cardio Machine

3 KO Power (but they could still not pan out)

2 Granite chins (1 still has to lose)

That's a whopping 5 of 24 that might last long enough to retire. I've been here since almost the beginning and have never seen such putridness before. Especially rolling "powerful" 9 frickin times.

YOu gotta test with 1 strength and low cardio.

are you testing learning speed?

My 350`s I would keep as low as 5.25 learning speed but it`s not enough, for 360k my minimum is 6 nothing lower

Exactly same situation here. Only 5.5 im keeping is for grappling only

I havent rolled any cardio machines and I always max out cardio at creation, but I figure if none of his hiddens are above cardio machine on the tott then he isnt worth keeping anyways. Tough break man, hopefully you get some killers here soon.

This is it exactly. Powerful is based on strength. I had been starting with high str/con. So I figured, if his strength was the highest, the rest would be putrid.

My last few noobs I went with lower strength but still got a couple of Powerfuls even though conditioning was higher.

So to create 24 noobs and most aren't rolling a hidden higher than 100 is pretty damn pathetic

Learning speed is the ONLY thing I've rolled pretty well with lol. I mean, I have certainly had a bunch in the 5's range, but with the way I'm building my guys, I don't need them to have 6+ learning speed. 5.4+ is a keeper for learning speed but I'd still probably keep 5-5.4 if they had a good hidden, like Granite chin.

You can have 150 heart and it will still show as powerful on tott. Also good/solid chin goes behind powerful I think.

Always create with 109 cardio. On 160 recovery supp you can train every day of the week and be around 89-90% energy which puts you back at 100% energy by Monday. Repeat. Never miss a session. You could probably accomplish this with 89-99 cardio too but I can't recall testing it.

You can do it with 89, which is what I use. I had then been putting the rest of the points into strength but seeing as how I'm always rolling powerful, I ain't gonna do that any more! =P

Interesting, might not go as high as 109 but 89 defo.

Create with 1 strength, 10 cardio. 99.9% of my creations are done like this. Max cardio mean you can train all week from the start, yes, but the time it takes to get the other physicals up to the level you could have started them at is longer than the time it takes to get cardio and strength up. Logic. If you want to be efficient with your time then this is the best way.

Convince me otherwise with maths if you dare!

Having high cardio or strength can mean you see “Powerful/Cardio Machine”, which can override seeing “good chin”, which is a keeping hidden.

I tested this a few years back and did not find it to be faster. I don't remember exactly but I thought it took 2 months to train up strength and cardio when they start at 0. And as the previous post stated, you would be resting a lot at the beginning to boot. And if you tried QFCing right away to test hiddens, it's almost an automatic loss with such low con/str. The only advantage, IMO, doing it this way is, as you mentioned, to avoid seeing powerful/cardio machine. That in itself COULD be worth it even if it takes a little longer to get all physicals to their appropriate values.

No way in the world starting with 10 cardio could save you time. You have to rest at least 2-3 sessions a week and train just cardio and you lose a month or two of your fighter's highest learning speed just to be cheap and save some CT sessions with a coach. Cardio machine and Good gas tank show up at sensational-- conditioning, so starting with high conditioning wouldnt be a problem for a test fight. I don't suggest testing hiddens with higher than 10(10 out of 150) strength cause you might get false results about your fighter's ko power.

I always do 110 cardio 78 strength. In my experience strength gain from circuits and secondary training is significantly lower than other physicals. Starting with 78 evens that out in the long run.

As for powerful, it starts appearing at 100 strength and overrides everything else than cardio machine (>=130 cardio), insanely flexible (>=130 flex), granite chin (>=130 chin) or top level KO power. You can still have insane hiddens all around and still pop powerful.

You can get false KO Power left side TOTT if you test with high strength, cause for TOTT strength boosts KO Power. I have seen it happen to a lot of fighters - first fight they pop KO Power left side and second fight they pop almost everything else on right side TOTT - inexperienced, tends to cut, very confident, likes pizza, intelligent, determined and etc. That's why I always test with as low strength as possible. It is true that strength improves slower from CT compared to other physicals but you can always do 15-20 sessions of weights training with muscle bulk supp and strength gains are insane.

Here is one example for the stuff I said. We are looking at Jimmy Decosta:

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=830427 - first fight shows Prefers Standup on right TOTT, which means that his hiddens are meh

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=835105 - second fight shows KO Power on left TOTT and I honestly don't believe that he had high KO Power hidden.

To me the true indicators for having high KO Power hidden are Heavy Handed(right TOTT), Big Right Hand(left TOTT), KO Power(left TOTT when testing with very very low strength) and Lethal High Kicks(both sides TOTT, but it is impossible to get it early on cause it requires a mixture of kicks, flexibility, strength and KO Power hidden)
