Madness 46 MAMF Championship

Montreal we have an amazing event prepared for you this evening. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has called the event “a win for Canada as a nation”. He has instructed all employers to allow their employees the day off from work.

Let's Take a closer Look at the Main Event and The Co- Main event

"The Conjurer" Olyn Seran will duke it out for 5 rounds (if needed) Vs. Pinero Chai.

Both Olyn and Pinero have championship history in their background. Tonight one of them will get a chance towards redemption, as league President Butch Harris said “Winner Seran vs Chai is #1 contender no question. Those guys have worked their tails off and realistically each deserve a shot. It's tough only one will get it but that is the game we play”. This #1 contender fight is shaping up to be great. Pinero’s stand up game is otherworldly. Seriously, he reminds me of something out of MIB III. Olyn will have to try and get this fight on the ground. Olyn has the advantage in bjj, he will have to capitalize on that.

Co-Main

Chris Travis Vs. Talph McGuire- 5 rounds, 10 Minute Each Round

Are you kidding me??!! 10 minute rounds….5 of them???!!! I already asked and yes there will be increased medical personnel at the event. This will be a war of attrition. Winner deseringly receives Mad Ass Mother F**ker Belt. Two guys stepping into the ring with the sole purpose of violence. They aren't going after your traditional championship belt. NO, they want the one that says, anyone, anywhere, anytime….I am just that crazy.

Good news, both guys like to stand and bang. I expect bombs being thrown both ways. No way this thing goes 50 minutes. I am hoping for an epic slugfest with an all time KO around the 38 minute mark.

Below are the rest of the fights for the evening. We are expecting fireworks, thunder and lightning. Bring an umbrella and a fire extinguisher. It will be MADNESS.

Great fight Travis!! I cant believe they went to decision, I thought for sure one of them was going to sleep.

Just like the title says Ralph will fight anyone anytime so get in line if you want your shot.

Great fight!!! Travis really is a tough dude, the power of the chiba will always keep you from sleeping!

Congrats to Ralph can't wait to see what is next for the new MAMF champion Ralph McGuire.

Nati Pisswater:

Bullshit...I call bullshit. I won that fight...everybody knows I won that fight including Benedouchi...the only folks who apparently don't think so are the blind ass judges! Well, they can take their "split" decision and shove it where the sun don't shine baby, cause that's about all that decision is worth!

HARDCORE Fighting Championship Breaking News; Acquisition of Madness MMA

We have a huge announcement. Hardcore Fighting Championships will be acquiring Madness MMA. Both are top 20 organizations that are filled with talent. Madness Owner Butch Harris has done great work. He will be around as a key consultant throughout this gradual transition process. HFC President J.W. Hardman was humbled, thrilled and extremely optimistic about things to come. “Butch and I have worked together for a long time. When you show up and put the work in everyday, eventually big things come to fruition. Now, after continued efforts from Madnesss MMA and the entire HFC team, huge things are happening for HARDCORE Fighting Championships. This will mean more fighters, better fights, bigger venues, more hype and bigger paydays for everyone”.

Great words from the President. The future looks very bright for HARDCORE Fighting Championship.

Moving Forward: If you are a current HFC fighter things will remain essentially the same. All current contracts are still valid and all current champs will remain as such. Any scheduled HFC event will take place as planned. Over the next few months we will be integrating the Madness MMA roster into our roster. Madness MMA Champions will get title shots for HFC belts in their respective divisions. Those will be super fights! The Madness belts will not be stripped but will not be active. Madness contenders will be considered in the HFC rankings as they are integrated.

For current Madness fighters, executives from both organizations will be in touch. As we said this process will be gradual. We are expecting most title fights to occur over Summer (Winter for our Southern Hemisphere Friends). Be assured you have a home at HFC.

Also the MAFF belt will be transitioned to HFC, that tradition will be kept alive in honor of the pioneer Butch Harris.

This is a great thing. How fun is it to be part of a fast rising organization? I will admit, it is fun at the top. But is it not even better when you start from the bottom and get to experience the rise? I think there is a song about that from one of our favourite Canadian Rappers. His name is Drake, look for him cageside at our events.

Anyways I digress; at the time of me writing this article HFC is #14 in hype and Madness MMA is #18. By adding Madness’s stacked roster to HFC’s already growing organization, we have an opportunity for rapid growth. Projections show us being top ten by end of summer. Those projections were done by me in my basement with a stopwatch and a ruler but you get the point.

From the entire HARDCORE Fighting Championship Team we thank you, and are excited for everyone to enjoy the good fortunes soon to come. As usual FIGHT ON!

Totally on topic: I would strongly suggest keeping both orgs open and not just absorbing Madness roster.

340k is so strong because the big 3 always avoided (by luck or by design) any merging.

I have always believed every 10k bracket needs 3 strong orgs and 1-2 mid-tier (or 345k / 355k, etc.).

Fighters need a few options and each org has its own personality.

When I started playing the biggest issue was that the 310k orgs had all been absorbed by 1 org. When said org eventually closed the unrestricted only cared about the top 25% of the roster. Unemployment ensued.

SFC then did it again with a 300 fighter roster that as expected had the owner burn out and boom more unemployed fighters. The 320k`s were fooked.

330k got lucky and JAG is the one remaining org. That is after the ID got dropped from 335k to 330k, a bold move that paid off.

350 ID too 'young' for a contenders org? P4P 2500 split or something along those lines? Need someone to run/hold it obviously but keeps the 2 orgs open under the 1 roof so to speak.

I have considered the possibility of us keeping Madness open, but it would be a shell of what it once was. It would have to be rebranded just for the sake of nobody being able to step in and fill in Butch's shoes. There are other 350k and 355k orgs that will benefit from this as some of these fighters and several from HFC pre-merger are being sent to other, more appropriate orgs to compete in.

We're not just kicking a bunch of fighters to the curb. We are probably keeping more Madness fighters than HFC fighters as HFC was already in a rework of the roster with BFC. I agree, I do not want to be the ONLY 350k org, but I sure as hell want us to be the best.

Madness is a legacy, and I hope one day Butch comes back and does it again.

Several of the fighters are already on loan to FB&E and WKB and we will not request a contract breech from any of those. I have no wish to take away from other orgs. Those fighters are not a part of the merger. And about 70 of the active HFC fighters have already been listed to be sent over to BFC before this merger was ever even spoken of.

We are not trying to kill the game, just trying to make a place where the elite 350k fighters can compete, and the next tier can compete as well on even playing fields.

Butch couldn't find nobody to run it. He closed shop. At least HFC around for the 350k guys. If HFC closes, what do we got at 350?

Sucks Madness closing, but easier to run 1 org then 2, and better to have an org then no orgs, so why give the HFC guys shit? Butch is out. Not like they forced his hand or bought him out.

That's what's on, he did a very solid job and want to stop, all his rights, everybody knows that running an org takes a lot of time and nerves, and that's not easy to hand somebody else the project you spent all of this to be reality. Kudos to Butch.

Thankfully we have an organized house which with our effort we can make Madness legacy alive and give a great competition for 350k+ guys still. Butch wouldn't pass this to JW only because it's the 350k out there, in fact, he knows it'll be in good hands and also he wants to keep Madness alive, even if not running as an org, it has been the kickoff for many great fighters carreer, this will be marked all along the way, we'll be keeping the MAMF and treat Madness Champs as they deserve also.

We should all enjoy this last month that's packed with good cards for Madness as a farewell to us all for this brilliant job done that'll be continued in other ways now, with the same effort and integrity.

I`m sure if he posted here he needed someone to take over the org a bunch of people would have answered the call.

Just like SMASH was once upon a time gifted to Hardcore, this could have been the way.

But if money was involved.

Just to clarify on my thoughts: This whole I would rather destroy what I created than give it to someone else to run is 100% ego (weak) driven. Nobody has a cristal ball and can 100% tell the future.
