Robert Bebe

NJMMA #29: Embalmer v Hansen post fight press conference excerpt

Robert Bebe: Wow... Pinched Nerve is one tough mother... well... you know. He fought through those first two rounds like a champ. Great fight, man. Bebe looks down the table to where Pinched Nerve sits next to his manager.

He is just tough as nails. I tried to land a submission, but he just stayed calm and worked through them all. That last round he really stepped up his ground game and did what he needed to do. I really wish I could have held out for just three more seconds though... I probably would have gotten the decision. But hey, that's how it goes sometimes, you know?

Post fight interview from NJMMA #31:

So, Mickey, it looked like you were having some issues with your opponent's Muay-Thai.

"Yeah, his Muay-Thai was much better than I thought it would be, but I wasn't worried. I took my time and when an opportunity presented itself, I took it and made the most of it."

You're now a free agent, will you resign with NJMMA?

"I'll go wherever the money is. If Dry wants to keep me around, he's gonna have to pay a pretty penny. I've already recieved some lucrative contracts from other orgs, so he better pay up."

After the fight you called out Joey Hatton, do you still want to fight him?

"Joey and I have been going at it the past couple of weeks, but it's obvious he's just trying to leech off of my success. Hatton is beneath me. But if Dry is willing to cough up the money, I'm down to fight anybody, anywhere."

Many NJMMA fans have been looking forward to see you take on Hatton and would be very disappointed if it doesn't happen. What would it take to make this fight happen?

"Two things:

1: Dry pays me.

2: Hatton begs me."

Thank you for your time, Mr. Steel.

Hatton: I find this all abit too funny & if you look into the words mr Steel doesnt want the fight, on one hand he says im leeching off his success, erm ive been in title fights ive beaten guys he hasnt. Its obvious he just wants a money fight & if that money fight is me then bring it on if i refused someone like Mickey Steel that would be the day i retire so lets do this BITCH

My boy Mickey has been kicking people's asses only training at Cozad. I've finally decided to move him to an actually gym in London, just for you. :D

He's recovering right now but he'll hit the gym and will bring all of hell with him come 14th Feb. Be prepared, Joseppe. :D

Mickey sinks when hes in deep waters as weve seen before so id cancel gym classes and start on swimming lessons then maybe youll have a chance :bigshock: :boxing:

My manager thought it would be a good idea to appear on this magasine:

6/6 in NJMMA for Rob Kardashian! Joint most wins in the org. Impressive.

Gotta say it is deceptive, he looks a bit big to be fighting at 205, but the scales don't lie. He must have mad weight cutting skills before the fight! :)

Shout out to Baron Shushkev going 6/7 at 170lbs. Looks like he earnt himself a title shot!

This construction guy is trying to pick a fight with me on Buzz. I have never noticed him but he does happen to be in my division. I told him that I don't pick the fights I just sign the dotted line... But then something caught my eye, he was with this angel by his side. This woman has stolen my heart, how can a troll like this get such a catch ????

I must have this woman !!! It is my destiny to give her the BBC !!!

Current division rankings. Still somewhat arbitrary as we are absorbing a number of fighters from EPGH and DSOF into the org (some of whom haven't actually fought yet) as well as a few former island fighters. Great competition in each division except Super Heavyweight (where the two top fighters will be going at it for the title soon and the rest of the division features no stand out fighters). If you disagree with the rankings, let me know why! They are based on a combo of overall record, record in the org, P4P ranking, hype and my own personal opinion. I aim to be doing rankings towards the end of every month!

Good luck vs Blake Phoenix. I thought I would be fine and look what happened to starving marvin meep lol

Thanks. I know Blake is good. He gets a bad rap for being a cheater. Which I think most of that stems from people being upset that he is a skilled a manager and still resorts to can crushing and being fed fighters anyways. But since he hasn't lost a creation tournament he has been in before so he has to know what he's doing. But I got faith I got this. Manager wise I've been the underdog in every fight and still in it.
