Ok gentlemen its time to put our differences aside for the good of the community. I am asking all the experienced managers to post here to help the newer players. I am also asking that we make this thread off limits for arguing, debating, flaming, ranting, advertising, and condescending comments. This is just to help the community. Who knows as the thread grows some of the more experienced guys may learn a thing or two as well, I know I'm always picking up little tidbits.

Always fight with as close to 100% energy as possible. You will have any easier time making weight and your fighter will perform better. To do this select NO Training for your training sessions. You can tell how many sessions you will need to do this by clicking the weight icon on your fighters page.

Your training will be better at higher energy levels. The general concensus is that you should not train at lower than 80% energy. The lone exceptions to this are weight training and cardio while using the proper supplements. They are effective down to about 10% energy.

Buying clothing before your fighter has had 2 fights is a WASTE of money. The "magic" set that comes with the new fighter doesn't diminish until after he's had 2 fights. Save your limited money for gyms and supplements.

After that you will need to buy clothing. ALL clothing has the same in-game quality of 150 to start. Regardless of price or the clothing companies hype. It diminishes at 2 points per day and when it hits 99, it is considered dirty and your fighters morale will drop until it's replaced.

if your fight is on any day but Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, consider changing your training intensity to "No Training" on your fighter page. Do this when you are ready to rest before your fight, so you come in at 100% energy. When your fight is over, and you have rested sufficiently to train again, change back to Fulltime or Part-time training. The days you rested will have netted you $57 per day. You can change your training intensity once per week (Sunday to Saturday), so as long as you change to "No Training BEFORE Sunday, you can change it back AFTER Sunday.

If your fighter doesn't do well (or for whatever reason you would like to sack him) and is contracted to a fight org you should always pm the org owner first and talk about it. Usually it's ok to cut the fighter but maybe the org owner wants send another fight offer before you sack him (the fighter will perform even though hes a free agent). =)

In another words:

no training = 400$ a week for your fighter.

part time = 200$ a week.

The Follow My Orders/See How It Goes slider is the most important slider, and it should be set to 100% follow my orders all the time or your work on all the sliders is for naught.

If you just bought VIPs today and are eager to open a new company, read the wiki really well and know what you're doing. Also, getting to know ppl and networking with other managers isn't bad at all for the business. =)

On the other hand, if you don't have VIPs yet and you find the game interesting you really should spend 10 bucks for VIPs becouse it rooolz. =)

If you take out a loan to start your new business, be aware that the first payment on the loan will be due that very week! Do it on the wrong day and the first payment could well be later on that same day.

If your looking to make a fighter that cuts weight to maximize his strength and KO power use these guidelines that ive found via trial and error

Heavyweight - Fighter can cut around 20lbs with superb or more conditioning, so a fighter with natural weight of 285 should get to 265 with some rest and good cardio

Light Heavyweight and Middleweights - They can cut roughly 15 lbs with Strong to Superb conditioning. So your LHW should be 220 and your middleweight should be 200 lbs

Welterweight - It takes a little more umph to get the 15lbs off to cut to Welterweight although it can be done, id say that 13lbs heavier would be a comfortable weight to cut from

Lightweights - Ive got a lightweight fighter on Remarkable++ conditioning, his natural weight is 170lbs and he can cut to 156.3lbs, so to be comfortable with the cut, maybe set it at 13 pounds again.

Make sure you rest your fighter sufficiently before a fight, as his energy goes down, the amount he can cut gets less.

Anywhere to the pound is ok for fight weight, (e.g 155.3 is cool) and if your over by a pound, the fight will still go on although your guy will take a morale hit.

Don't create all your fighters at once. It calls for patience, but make a few and when you feel like you are getting the hang of the game, make a few more. The time between your ability to cut fighters can seem very long.

Sparring has diminishing returns. You should never spar in back to back sessions. This means that you can spar 6 times per week at most, and only if they are all in either the AM or PM sessions.

Sparring quality is dictated by average quality of fighters in it. So big sparring sessions aren't intrinsically better, in fact your best session is probably a one on one with a "Wonderful" rated fighter.

The less people in the coach session the better. I would say if there are already five people in that session, don't bother.

When creating fighters consider that it is easier to get them from a low level to a medium level than it is to get them from medium to high. So you should pick less skills and put more points into those ones, and then after that round out weaknesses. Fighters with feeble, feeble, feeble, blue belt are easy to destroy.

The only thing that matters for cardio and weight training is the gym quality. Don't pay more than you have to for something anyone can provide.

You are better off training one week in a 30 dollar gym for physicals and the next in a 600 dollar gym for secondaries and primaries than you are training two straight weeks in a 300$ gym.

Cardio is an investment. For every conditioning point you gain now, you are getting a boost to every single training session you do afterwards.

Don't rush your fighters into a fight. Just a month of training will give you a huge advantage over most QFCs.

Show interest and knowledge of the game. Being a committed VIP member will get you better contracts. Personalised letters will get you better sponsorships.

Make contacts. Quality sparring and coaching isn't just for the rich anymore.

If you don't have clinchwork, striking defence or defensive grappling you are asking to get dominated by a bad match-up.

Mix-up your sliders. 100% punch combos to the head 100% of the time to 100% damage might sound like a recipe to set up KOs, but you are asking to hit nothing but air.

Never fight with useless in any primary stat.

Never fight with a white belt.
