S.A.F.O OFFICIAL SMACK TALK THREAD

At this point, we give out fights with the ranks.

This is how I make the fights

If a fighter lost in his last fight, he will face a bottom contender.

If he wins he faces a top contender. I will start this to make the fights fair and every one of you will have the advantage to get easily on top for the title.

I will have a schedule for this, so that you guys dont feel like its the end of the fighter when he loses.

I want to make everything fit perfect and soon we are gonna hire writer and more. But remember we are still at the foundation, the better you fighters promote the fights the better we evolved.

I have bigger vision of making this S.A.F.O a greater place for you guys.

Future news will blow your minds, spoiler Alert:)

great, thanks!

I'm walking around at 215lbs. I'll do an open weight fight if need be. Somebody step up. I've never declined a fight yet I've had 3 declined in a row. Who has the balls to fight me?"

James Grestch, 25 seconds!? For a "Killer", I expected the battle to last longer than a mere 25 seconds! It took me longer to have my trainer rub Vaseline on my face and the ringside referee to check my gloves and mouthpiece! Believe me, I'm very glad you've accepted a rematch and I respect the fact you're willing to battle again. This time around, however, I truly hope the fight lasts longer than 25 seconds! Until then, prepare well, because I will.

I'm pumped about this. One of SAFO's valued managers wanted to try his hand at event reviews. Our boy Tony Soprano knocked it out of the park. Here's his review of SAFO 37 Russian Collusion. Hopefully we can keep him happy doing these going forward!

SAFO 37: Russian Collusion Review:

Saudi Arabia Fighting Organization presents SAFO 37: Russian Collusion from the Hard Knocks Arena in beautiful St Petersburg Florida did not disappoint! 2,934 people attended this event to enjoy 10 exciting fights 8 of which ended by way of T/KO or Submission! Let's break down the fights starting with the Prelims.

The first fight of the prelims was a 265+ matchup between Lee "The Ninja" Van Cleefe (9-13) taking on Aron Egomi "The Barber". We have 2 fighters very new to the organization with Van Cleefe debuting and Egomi competing in his second fight in the organization. This fight did not last long as Van Cleefe dominated Egmoi en route to a first round Kimura submission and a submission of the night award from a 265+ pound fighter! Wow! That $2500 sub of the night bonus was well deserved! Egomi has now lost 2 straight fights by submission and will need to change things up for his next fight.

The second fight of the prelims was a 185 pound debut matchup between James "Rage" Reginald (2-2) and Trevor "Alien Twiggy" Lahey (2-6-1). Reginald was good but not great vs an opponent that struggled mightly. Reginald handled each of the 3 rounds against Lahey who looked like he wanted a decision from the opening bell. But, after the final bell rang the judges were unamiously 30:27 for the winner James "Rage" Reginald. Reginald moves up to 7th in the 185 pound division while Lahey falls to 11th in the division.

The third fight of the prelims was a matchup between 2 fighters in the top 15 of the 145 pound division. This matchup was very interesting as it was a pure striker in Burns against a pure grappler in Rothstein and had all the makings for fireworks. Luckily for the fans attending Alec "The Maylands Mexican" Burns brought the fire by knocking out Rothstein in the first round with punches and kicks! The referee had no choice but to stop the brutality happening.

The fourth fight of the prelims was a fight in the 185 pound division between Heikki Viitta(2-1) and Sal "Spit" Iva (3-2). Iva is coming off a submission victory but hasn't fought since November of 2019 and Viitta is debuting in the SAFO so this a great treat to have on the pre lims! Heikki Viitta wasted no time putting hype behind his name by finishing Iva in the first round by TKO strikes. Viitta showed that he is ready to make a name for himself and hopes his next fight will be on the main card!

The 5th and final fight of the prelims is a contest from the 170 pound weight division between debuting undefeated fighter Jorge "Judoka" Romero and William "Raspy" Shitlord. Fans might remember "Raspy" from his one off fight in SAFO in December 2019 but now he's back with a new contract and ready to compete! This matchup was all Shitlord on the feet and Romero on the ground. Shitlord was easily ahead on the judges card with 2 rounds to 0 and going into the final round but made a mistake that proved to be critical and was caught in an arm triangle that was converted into a brutal armbar that would have cost him a broken bone if he didn't tap! Jorge "Judoka" Romero remains undefeated with a come from behind 3rd round submission victory!

Main Card:
Ladies and Gentlemen let's move on to the main card!

The first fight of the main card is a matchup in the 155 pound division between Trey Bridges (6-1) and Rya "Haduken" Hyabusa (4-3). Trey Bridges is a familiar face last fighting in SAFO in December of 2019 but he is back to continue his dominant record of 4-1 under the SAFO banner and Hyabusa is coming off a fight of the night award his last fight. This fight was no different for Bridges as he hit Hyabusa with a big head shot to cut him and nasty elbow along with more shots to finish him off! Trey Bridges wins by first round TKO strikes!

The second fight of the main card came from the 145 pound division. Guilherme "G Unit" Goncalves (4-0) went up against James "Killer" Grestch for the second straight matchup with no different results. "G Unit" came out aggressive and firing strong shots. Grestch was instantly cut by a jab to the nose which clearly threw off his game plan. Goncalves could smell the blood in the water and came forward to land 2 jabs and a haymaker that sent Grestch to the canvas seeing stars. Goncalves earns $2500 with KO of the night and has won his last 3 fights in SAFO while Grestch has lost 2 straight by first round T/KO.

The third fight of the main card was for the SAFO 170 pound Championship! Randy "DangerZone" Randalman (5-0) challenging the reigning defending 170 pound SAFO champion Dropkick "Island Boy" Flexy (6-3) and ladies and gentlemen if you missed this fight I feel sorry for you. This fight was a back and forth battle that everyone was hoping for. Randalman won round 1 while Flexy took round 2 right back to tie it at 1 round a side. Randalman and Flexy battled for the next 2 rounds to make it a razor thin matchup with both men wanting that shiny gold around the waist and the chance to be the man! It went down to the 5th and final round with the judges deciding unamiously.......And the new 170 pound SAFO champion is.....Randy "DangerZone" Randalman! Dropkick "Island Boy" Flexy won't walk away empty handed as both men are awarded the $2500 bonus for fight of the night and they couldn't be more deserving! There is no doubt that Randalman's first title defense will be a rematch against Dropkick "Island Boy" Flexy! What a great fight!

The fourth fight and your Co Main Event of the evening is matchup in the 265+ pound division featuring Rusty "Pocket Sand" Shackelford (6-2) and Rio "Rampage" Silva (9-4). Silva is on a 5 fight winning streak going back to a previous promotion and Shackelford winning 4 of his last 5 within previous promotions so you know this should be good. If the first round told the story Shackelford was well on his way to a victory and he made it a quick night landing a devistating uppercut to end Silva's night. Rusty "Pocket Sand" Shackelford wins with second round KO! Shackelford will move on to face King Kong for the 265+ title on February 22 2020!

The fifth fight and your Main Event of the evening is another fight from the 265+ pound division featuring Hellas "Logos" Pankratios (12-5) vs "The Horse" DJ Maximus (45-26). "The Horse" has been around for ages but has recently changed management a few times so it was a fresh start in a way for him and Pankratios hadn't fought in SAFO since December of 2019 so it was nice to see him back in the cage! Both fighters come in with sponsorships so let's take a minute to mention those. Pankratios is sponsored by Urban Fighter Clothing and Notorious out of NY and Maximus is sponsored by Underground Supplements. Let's get down to it! Pankratios had no problem having his way in the fight as he dominated the first round both on the feet and on the ground with beautiful punches and ground and pound. He came out in the second round and looked to finish the fight early while DJ was just looking to survive but that didn't happen. Pankratios takes this one with a second round TKO of a veteran fighter.

That concludes another great night of fights and a great fight card. This is Tony Soprano coming to you with the review of SAFO 37: Russian Collusion! Thank you for your time and I will see you February 8th 2020 for SAFO 38: Chaelsson vs Frost!

S.A.F.O 38: Chaelsson vs Frost

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen this is Tony Soprano coming to you with the review of S.A.F.O's lastest event S.A.F.O 38: Chaelsson vs Frost. I hope you tuned in because it was another exciting night if fights! Brought to you by Hot Spunk Merchandise. Live from Hard Knocks Arena in busy NYC let's get the review started!

Prelims:

205 pound division:

Johnathon Ray (5-3) vs Toby TShwiz (2-3)

Being the first fight of the night sometimes builds up a lot of pressure to put on a show. Ray put that pressure behind him and really started things off with a bang! He came out and dropped TShwiz twice in the first minute of the round and a third time that proved to be too much with the referee stopping the contest for the health of the fighter. TShwiz was not happy with the stoppage but that's unfortunately what happens if you don't protect yourself in the cage. Ray is now on a winning streak while TShwiz dropped his third fight in a row.

135 pound division:

Matt Carpenter (4-1) vs Rodtang Sadka (0-2)

What a showing by Matt Carpenter! He was cut by a punch right away and didn't let them distract him what so ever! He was still able to land a beautiful counter punch to drop Sadka and made the referee stop the fight with brutal ground and pound. Carpenter wins his debut fight in S.A.F.O by way of first round T/KO. Sadka loses his debut fight and is still searching for his first professional MMA win at 0-2.

170 pound division:

Franklin Dong (4-4) vs Surprise "Dave" Cockfags (2-3)

As I suspected this fight went to the ground almost immediately however what I didn't expect would be for Franklin Dong to pull guard to get to the ground. But, that's exactly what he did controlling the ground game until he pulled Cockfags in enough to land a nasty guillotine to end to fight in the first round! Dong breaks his 2 fight losing streak while Cockfags suffers his third loss in a row and second by first round submission. Dong walks away with $2500 Submission of the night award for his Guillotine victory!

145 pound division:

Jack "Irish"McGregor (1-0) vs Johnny "Sinner" Random (0-1)

By stepping in the cage both of these men reached their goals of being professional MMA fighters. However it was a fight that had some mistakes. A low shot from McGregor injured Random badly enough to need the full 5 minute injury timeout and luckily he was alright. Soon after that McGregor landed a few big shots and finished Random for the first round T/KO victory. It was a great showing from two fighters who we won't be seeing the last of!

135 pound division:

Julius "Ant Man" Johnson (3-1) vs Cedric "Icecube" Diggery (5-5)

Well this fight surprised me a bit. I expected it to be a chess battle on the ground but it was instead a chess match on the feet. These two fighters decided to stand and bang for 3 long rounds! With Julius "Ant Man" Johnson winning all 3 rounds easily in route to a unamious decision victory.

Time to move on to tonight's MAIN CARD!

170 pound division:

Charles "Walker" Norris (5-1) vs Saki "Goofies" Bizihwaeile (5-4)

Another fight that surprised me as I thought this would be a sure fire stand and bang fight. Turns out Norris had other plans and decided to go from takedowns and submissions to which "Goofies" had no answer. "Goofies"did make it out of the first round but the second round was much of the same from the first and ended quickly with a Kimura submission from Norris for the second round victory! Norris has now won 3 fights in a row while Bizihwaeile has lost his last 3 fights.

265+ pound division:

Pupuki "Pillow Hands" Namasuzuki (6-5) vs Soloman Bundy (2-1)

Undefeated no more! Bundy MMA coach talked about how they worked on his balance coming into the fight but it didn't really matter as "Pillow Hands" was cut early and went into another mode directly after! "Pillow Hands" dropped Bundy with a beautiful combo of punches in the first minute. He then dropped Bundy again with a big right hand only to motion for him to stand up to deliver an uppercut from hell for the first round KO victory giving Bundy his first career loss and awarding "Pillow Hands" $2500 for KO OF THE NIGHT! Great Job!. "Pillow Hands" is on a three fight win streak after tonights performance.

265+ pound division:

Bobby "Blow" Chunks (3-0) vs Declan "Aquaman" Harp (2-2)

Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to introduce you to Bobby "Blow" Chunks! With performances like this you will continue to hear that name. Bobby had a plan and he executed immediately with a takedown and Harp didn't stand a chance. Chunks unleashed brutal ground and pound for the better part of 45 seconds landing shot after shot giving the referee no choice but to step in. Chunks keeps his undefeated record with a T/KO victory in under a minute! Chunks was cheered loudly by the crowd after and rightly deserves it!

CO-MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!

265+ pound division:

Xander "The Anaconda" Machado (14-12) vs Sulejima "Giver Dig" Tudekiks (31-29)

Black belt in BJJ? DANGER DANGER! And it showed again tonight as Machado came into this fight with a game plan that Tudekiks just couldn't stop. Machado had 2 takedowns and dominated the ground. Tudekiks fought off as many submission attempts as he could but it ended up being too much and tapped out with 4 seconds remaining in the round! Heartbreaker! However it goes down in the books as an impressive first round submission victory in the 265+ pound division by way of Kimura for Xander "The Anaconda' Machado! Tudekiks had his 2 fight win streak snapped.

MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!!

265+ POUND S.A.F.O HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Deacon "Ice Cold" Frost (16-3) challenging Patrick Chaelsson (24-8)

This is what you call a main event fight! Back and forth action both on the feet and on the ground from two big heavyweights for 25 minutes to see who will be top dog! The first round was won easily by Chaelsson including a takedown and a few submission attempts thwarted off by Frost. The second round was won easily by Frost who controlled the clinch and showed great defense when on the ground. The third round was a throw away round as there wasnt really much action making it a close round won by Frost! The fourth round was back to the action with Frost controlling the clinch and Chaelsson getting takedowns but Frost did a good job making it another very close round in Frost's favor. It's 3-1 Frost on some cards, 3-1 Chaelsson on some cards and 2-2 on others so this is the round that matters. The round that will decide who gets to hold that golden championship belt and be top dog! The fifth and final round was spent mostly on the ground after Chaelsson dominated on the ground winning the last round easily. This fight was super close the whole 25 minutes and I would hate to have to decide who won! On to the judges score cards....the judges scored the contest 48:47 48:47 48:47 in favor of your winner by unamious decision....AND NEW 265+ POUND S.A.F.O HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION...Deacon Frost!! Ending Patrick Chaelsson reign as champion. Both fighters walked away with a $2500 bonus for FIGHT OF THE NIGHT! What a fight and what a main event! Let's hope we get to see that fight again real soon!

Once again Bob Loblaw and S.A.F.O put on another exciting night of fights with a brand new champion and 7 out of 10 fights ending in first round T/KO or Submission! Tune in next week for S.A.F.O 39: Gracie vs Turban including 3 championship fights headlined by a 155 pound title fight between undefeated defending champion Efraim "Golden Boy" Turban and Kron "Ice Cream Kron" Gracie. Also including the undefeated defending 145 pound champion Bardia "The Fisherman" Farrokhzad defending his championship against undefeated challeneger Guilherme "G Unit" Goncalves and the undefeated 135 pound champion Yajson Rram defending his championship against Daiyan "The Master of Submission" Valdes! This is Tony Soprano with your review of S.A.F.O 38: Chaelsson vs Frost....Goodnight everyone!!
