I am proud to announce Joe River (13987) in the GAMMA Hall of Fame!

Joe is one of those old school MMA Tycoon Managers back from the old day. Joe participated in some of the earlier events but was partially (or totally) inactive for a a time. In the past 2 years however he came back with some impressive results, competing (and winning) several GAMMA titles.

Upon retirement, Joe is ranked #27 among all GAMMA managers. He was the highest ranked manager who was not in our Hall of Fame, so he clearly deserved this.

His all time GAMMA record is 67-51-4, which is a solid near 55% win ratio in GAMMA. He has been involved in a total of 11 title fights so far.

But all in all, what separates Joe is consistency. I never got a fight rejection from him ever (that 122 approved fights), in fact he always replies to each fight offer with "Thanks"! Obviously he did not get into our HOF because of that, he got in due to his results, but just the fact that this dude goes out and does his thing is worth a few extra points for sure.

Welcome to the GAMMA Hall of Fame Champ!

I am proud to announce the induction of Theksit Ruengruong (117485) to the GAMMA Hall of Fame!

Theksit Ruengruong (117485) is one of the legendary MMA Tycoon managers, inducted to the games Hall of Fame and held the #1 rank among managers for several months during his reign.

His record in GAMMA is 44-18-2 (total of 64 fights). His total winning percentage is 68.75%, which is 6th highest among GAMMA Hall of Fame managers and 3rd highest if you count managers with 60+ fights in GAMMA.

His total of 329 ranking points places him #28 among all GAMMA managers historically.

Among those 64 fights, he has a total of 27 fights being either title fights or super fights, which ranked #17 among all GAMMA managers historically.

His fighter Chamuaknoi Sitsongrit (325755) is also a GAMMA Hall of Fame inductee and is one of the greatest 145lbs fighters in GAMMA's history, ranked #17 among all fighters historically.

All in all Theksit is considered among the best managers of his era, a guy who never backed down from a fight offer and was always top of his game. Congratulations champ on your induction!

I am proud to announce Santino Lombardo (335790) in the GAMMA Hall of Fame!

Santino was managed by legendary GAMMA Hall of Fame manager Laz Staz (82447), who he himself is ranked #2 all time in the manager list. This is Laz's 4th fighter to be inducted in the GAMMA Hall of Fame, only 2 other managers have more Whymer Van Mastodon (40116) with 7 and Gale Hawthorne (22636) with 5.

Santino's all time GAMMA record was 29-16-0, 14 of those fights were for the title and he also had a super fight. Only 11 other fighters in our Hall of Fame have more wins than Santino's total of 29.

His total score upon retirement was 213 points, which ranks him 28th among all fighters historically.

He had many legendary wins, some of the most significant were Joy Rones x3, Dougal McCraken x2, Julio Regueiro x2, Tyler Wrexham x2, Mario Benedetti, Afeef Isa Baba, Kevin Daughtrey x2 among others.

Currently the way we give points are:

4 points for a win

2 for a draw

1 for a loss

1 point for Fight of the Night (this is for fighters, not managers)

50 points for a HOF fighter (this is for managers)

In the case of fighters, we also take into consideration their wins/losses/draws in GAMMA affiliates, we do not do this for managers (because it is impossible to do, it will take too long).

We also give 3 points for Super fights or Title fights.

The minor adjustment we will be making is that i will give 4 points for Super fights / Title fights. Basically this will mean that if you are in high profile fights, you receive 2x more points. I decided to do this because 3 is a weird figure to be using in the first place, you could argue that 4 points for a title/super fight is way too low, but i do not want to make major changes at this point, a small bump is enough.

Regards

History page updated

I have moved away from the game wiki and created a view only GAMMA document instead (i did this because it was easier to create tables to show exact calculations for each critiera). I will also be updating this page regularly and not once ever 5-6 months. I also made a small increase to the manager criteria, giving extra points for having a fighter inducted to HOF (increased from 50 to 100 points).

I did a MASSIVE update now, this is without a doubt the biggest accumulation of data regarding any one specific company in the game, that is almost 15 years of history including the all time best fighters, managers, all previous affiliations, super fight records and history. You can gain access to this page at any time via our org page, by clicking to the website url. Here is the link to the document:

I am proud to announce the induction of Joosep "Little Bunny" Lohmus (325071) into the GAMMA Hall of Fame!

Joosep's career was legendary, spanning in GAMMA from 2019-10-05 until 2023-07-22! Over 4 real life years! He originally was managed by Hall of Fame manager Alex K. (84400), but after going 1-2, Alex released him to be picked up by another HOF manager in Billy Arseworth (74054).

Joosep went on to have a total of 61 (which is ranked joint 6th all time) fights for GAMMA, fighting and holding onto the 205lbs title up until 43y of age!

Joosep competed in a total of 35 title fights (which is a GAMMA record) and 8 super fights (joint 4th all time). His total of Super + Title fights of 43 is joint first with Renan St Juste.

He is an unpresidented 8 time 205lbs GAMMA champion! His first title he won back in 2020-08-08 and he was last champion in 2023-06-24.

His overral GAMMA record was 42-17-2, only 4 fighters had more overral wins (2 of them had more due to their GAMMA affiliate participations, which are also included in the formula).

Arguably his biggest distiction is the fact that he is considered an all time great in the game as he has been voted twice the 205lbs in game fighter of the year! He also had a Olympics Silver medal back in 2022.

Remarkably, Joosep was never the GAMMA fighter of the year, however he did come second on two occasions in 2021 and 2022.

He also failed to get inducted into the in game HOF, he reached 3rd place on 3 different occasions though.

He was involved in masses of legendary fights, beating the likes of Jack Sullivan, Mohammed Kahn x2, Sammy Beach, Mantak Garuda, Joseph Stalinovich, Hurricane Defoe, Cerberus Dionisy, Damagon Enchrya, Anthony Falcone, Thomas Bolleke, Robert MacArthur Jnr. And here i listed only some of the biggest names!

His rivalry with Song Turillo is the best in GAMMA's history and most likely the longest and most impressive in the game's history as well. Joosep ended up winning 4-3-1!

The is a truely special induction today because Joosep is actually the highest rated fighter in GAMMA history with 633 points! Surpassing Renan St Juste (102580) who has 599 and Jeremy Tonal (31632) who has 569! A combination of consistency and competing at the very top is what got him there. Maybe the only things that are missing on his resume is adding the Olympics Gold, GAMMA Fighter of the year and #1 in game, to be considered arguably the greatest ever. Either way, he is at least in the discussion.

GAMMA: Billy Arseworth (74054) HOF Induction

I am proud to announce that Billy Arseworth (74054) is the newest induction to the GAMMA Hall of Fame!

Billy is one of the greatest MMA Tycoon managers, already in the discussion as being the best manager ever. He has been inducted to the games HOF for several years now.

In GAMMA he is better known as the manager of the highest rated GAMMA fighter, Joosep Lohmus (325071), who was also inducted this month.

All in all, Billy has a 43-15-3 record. His winning % of 70.48% is one of the highest ever achieved in GAMMA, ranked 6th among all HOF managers.

He has been involved in an incredible 42 total profile fights (Title + Super fights), which ranks him 13th in the all time list. It is incredible because he only had a total of 61 fights., which means more than 2/3 of his fights were a profile fight.

His total accumulation of points is 461, which ranks him 25th among all managers all time. Among all managers ranked above him, nobody has ever achived this total with just 61 total fights

In short, Billy is a quality over quantity manager. One of the best managers there ever was or that exist in the game these days.

I would like to announce that we now have a new merch partnership with 30th Century Beer Store (7128). Jay Stoner is a long term GAMMA manager and currently owns multiple companies. 30th Century Beer Store (7128) is currently ranked #2 in the world and it was only natural to consider them. They will be sending sponsorship deals to anyone currently available inside the organization and are currenly offering highly competitive sponsorship deals for whoever is interested. Here is a link to their store:

https://www.mmatycoon.com/nutritionpublic.php?ncid=7128

I would also like to take this time to thank Urban Fighter for being the merch partner of GAMMA from  October 1st 2017 till now November 11th 2023. Alika Webb recently retired from the game, his 6 year partnership is probably the longest merch deal in the history of this game, thanks for the support all those years.

I am proud to announce the induction of Hans Hermann Hoppe (309294) to the GAMMA Hall of fame!

Hans competed in GAMMA from 2019-02-09 until 2022-04-16 and was managed by GAMMA HoF manager Rodrigo Rojas (101547). He had a total of 47 fights with a total record of 26-20-1.

He had a total of 11 finishes and 17 FON awards. He also competed in 13 title fights in total. He is one of very few fighters to win 2 division titles at 145lbs and 155lbs. At 155lbs he won the title 3 times.

He ended his career with 195 total ranking points, which places him as joint 43 among all GAMMA fighters in history.

Probably his most significant wins are over William Spud, Dougal McCraken x2, Bunt Jernit, Edward Kenway, Harry Kane among others.

This is also the second fighter Rodrigo has in the GAMMA Hall of Fame and has moved him up to 828 total points, which is 12th in the all time rankings among managers.

"Imagine being me, a young upcoming fighter. I'm fighting my third fight in Open ID in the prestigious GAMMA. I'm keeping my strikes technical and measured, definitely not throwing the kitchen sink at a former GAMMA and WCF champion. Then I see an opening and BAM, an AXE KICK to the face to crumple Riker to the ground, unconscious.

Then imagine seeing that KO of the night instead gets given to some mediocre TKO! What's going on here?

Will Wrecks, you stole everything I worked for. You're next!

I'm still young and working on my game, so all the pressure is on you. That said, I'm going to do my best to make sure you don't steal my KOTN award next, but become the victim of one. Your next fall from grace is around the corner."

Just so that you know, the way i give the FON awards has pretty much little to do with the flavor text. I always give the awards to one of the top 2-3 fights on the card. Usually it is either for the main event or one of the title fights. Usually the FON goes to the highest rated title fight and KO + submission awards go to the highest hyped fights on the card.

FON awards go towards the "legacy" of a fighter, (his ranking points), so i always prioritise the more estabilished fighters.

Completely disagree with the reasoning here, an axe kick should definitely get KO of the Night. Also, makes no sense to count that in the totals of your points if the reasoning for awards is "the main eventers get it". The award winner for KO that night was a very basic, unspectacular TKO not worthy of an award. But considering Crazy Horse always beats me, maybe it's best he got robbed! (To be fair he is just 5-4 against me apparently, I just checked).

Bigi Boi is single-handidly keeping us at bay! Once I beat him up, watch out! The rest of your tea boys will get drunk. Maybe since we lost to him in MMA and KT, we should try grappling next?

Back on topic, I agree that it's a bit funny the awards get counted towards legacy if they're going to be weighted on name basis as opposed to purely performance, but at the end of the day the difference in getting the flavour text of an axe kick or TKO is more or less an rng thing. I'm not too cut up about it (but Sol Peters might be, you should see how hard he's training).

Apparently Alfred at WVT told me he has a system that is kind of similar to feed into his awards rankings and it favours the higher hypes too (roughly correlating with bigger fights). I've observed other org owners favour their mates and had also discussions with others who, like me, pretend the flavour text matters way more than it does and award it based off that (e.g I'd probably never give FON to a fight where the crowd boos or refs stand it up lots in my org or KON to a TKO unless there were super circumstances like it was a TKO slam or something).

That's the beauty of it all I guess, we all have different criteria and if an org owner's system ultimately helps them create more fluff like these guys are doing, then that's probably the way to go.

Also I trust Sol, but his opinions are his own.

Every org have their own criteria. GAMMA is legacy orientated, shedding out an "award" to a fighter down the card means nothing to a fighter's legacy because #1 he could be out the org pretty soon and #2 it was against lower end opponent. Our whole system of rating a fighters career is more focused on top end fights. Lower end fights also get some love, but nowhere the same value.

Besides that, this is my org, i have been running it this way for 15 years, i do not plan to start giving flavor text more importance, because to me, flavor text means nothing.

The GAMMA organization is proud to induct Joy Rones (305095) into it's Hall of Fame!

Joy competed in GAMMA under 4 different managers but without any doubt his success was under Legendary GAMMA Hall of Fame manager Grumpy Bastard (102643).

He competed in the org from 2019-07-20 until his retirement in 2021-06-05. His overall record was 13-12-2, which may not look impressive but that is mainly because he went 2-9 in his last 11 fights.

He is a 2 time 170lbs champion, competing in a total of 13 high profile fights, 11 of which were title fights and 2 super fights.

He was a top #7 all time ranked fighter who also came second in the GAMMA fighter of the year awards back in 2020.

He had multiple historic wins, including those over Afeef Isa Baba, Julio Regueiro, Santino Lombardo, Mario Benedetti, Chris Steve, Lao Shin and Lee Sin among many others.

His grand total of 194 points ranks him 45th among all GAMMA fighters historically. Truth is, Roy had a short run, if comparing to the all time GAMMA greats, but his peak was a good as anyone's, not to mention he competed in a very deep 170lbs division at the time.

This induction is Grumpy's 2nd all time, this also pushes him up the all time GAMMA rankings among managers, moving him up to 6th position all time, even though he has been retired for many months now.

GAMMA is happy to announce the return of one of my old partners, Rogelio Cottonfloss! He was previously one of my mentee's and he is the original founder of the GAMMA: Contenders dating back to 2013 and was running the org for over a year. He has agreed to take over as the new owner of the organization and take it to new heights.

I would also like to take this moment to thank Clifton Barnes (6101) who became the (12th owner) and ran the Contenders from 2nd December 2021 till December 15th 2023. Previously he also was involved in the GAMMA Developmental league (GDL), which he also ran from October 2020 till March 2022, making him one of the longest standing GAMMA affiliate owners in history.

The GAMMA organization is proud to induct Robert MacArthur Jnr (302907) into it's Hall of Fame!

Robert competed in GAMMA under Legendary GAMMA Hall of Fame manager Carlos Castenada (84794), this makes it Carlos's 3rd induction into the HOF of GAMMA, even though he is currently no longer playing the game. This induction also pushed Carlos Castenada to 1359 total points, exactly 200 points below 3rd placed Gale Hawthorne.

After competing on the independent scene for a while, he joined up to the GAMMA Contenders affiliate back in 2019-03-15    , competing in the 205lbs division and eventually winning the 205lbs title after 4 fights. He then moved up to the main roster a little later in 2019-08-17 and stay at the org up until 2022-04-23. This also means he is one of the few fighters to compete and win titles in GAMMA and a GAMMA affiliate organization.

His eventual record was 28-16-1, with a total of 45 fights in GAMMA and the affiliates. He had a total of 15 finishes and 14 fights earned him the fight of the night award. 10 of his fights were high profile super fights or title fights, he is also a 2 time 205lbs champion. Towards the end of his career he also competed at 265+ with limited success before he eventually retired.

He had multiple historic wins, including those over Evaristo Jesus, Damagon Ench rya, Song Turillo, Michael Cole, Thomas Bolleke among others.

His grand total of 184 points ranks him 50th among all GAMMA fighters historically, also ranking him in the top 10 among all 205lbs GAMMA fighters of all time.

GAMMA is ready to announce their 2023 Fighter of the year awards! Unlike other awards, which are based on popularity and opinion, the GAMMA awards are based on a formula. The formula calculates GAMMA fighters performance during the year based upon the following criteria:

Note: We only rate fighters who won titles, fighters with lower than the top 10 in the ratings we did not include here

4 points win,
1 points loss,
2 points draw,
4 points title / super fight,
1 point Fight of night (FON)

Based on the points system mentioned above, here are the results for 2023:

Tam Yu Tai (372393) 13-2 12 title, 12 FON = 102
Karim Johnson (347353) 9-6, 11 title/super, 9 FON = 84
Aurelius Augustus (357859) 9-2, 11 title, 9 FON    = 76
Orlando Sanguinetti (365011) 8-3, 8 title, 9 FON = 68
Odin Markkanen (364155) 11-2, 5 title, 4 FON (Has fight on 30th) = 65
Joosep L hmus (325071) 7-2, 9 title, 8 FON = 65
Milo Andrianakis (365202) 9-5-1, 3 title, 4 FON = 57
Wilfred Ainsworth (358394) 8-3, 5 title, 5 FON (Has fight on 30th) = 55
Graham Mantle (355131) 8-4-1, 8 title, 6 FON = 55
Petsuwan Sitsongrit (355161) 8-3, 5 title, 4 FON = 54

Odin and Wilfred have fights on the 30th of the month, but those results wont push them into the top 3, irrelevant of the results. Odin will surpass Orlando for 4th place though.

Tam was dominant all year long, the couple of slip ups he had, he eventually came back and regained the title. He was clearly the best fighter during this year.

Karim won last year's fighter of the year, he just missed out this year to his "brother" Tam Yu Tai. He was the biggest box office draw all year long though.

Aurelius probably could of won the fighter of the year, but he retired before it ended.

Odin was dominant all year as well, but did not compete in enough title or super fights. His 11 wins is the second best in the organization for the whole year.

The GAMMA organization is proud to induct Robert "Sitek" Sito (255000) into it's Hall of Fame!

Robert competed in GAMMA under GAMMA Hall of Fame manager Pawel Ufcowski (52087), this makes it Pawel's 3rd induction into the HOF of GAMMA, moving him into the 12th all time spot among managers with 839 total points.

After competing on the independent scene at INY, he moved to the 3rd tier of the GAMMA affiliation program competing in GKNY, becoming the champion in the 155lbs division. He then joined the GAMMA contender where he eventually became the 145lbs champion. This means that Robert is one of very few GAMMA legendary fighters to win a GAMMA title in 3 different GAMMA organizations. Something that will likely become more difficult in the future as we no longer have a 3 tier system any more.

In total, Robert competed in GAMMA from 2015-07-11 up till 2017-08-05. In total he had 39 fights in GAMMA and it's affiliates, with a 31-8 record, with 18 finishes, 13 Fight of the night awards. He was also involved in 10 title fights at the top level, winning the 155lbs title 5 times! He also competed in 1 super fight.

He had several high profile wins over top level opposition such as Robin Yount, Oscar Boma, Geoffrey Barbossa, Mathew Ridgeway.

His total of 189 total points in his career rank him 49th among all other GAMMA fighters historically. Most likely Robert would be higher on the all time list, but his manager retired at his peak and moved after being taken over by new management.

The GAMMA organization is proud to induct Shane "The Colonel" Raffington (345326) into it's Hall of Fame!

Shane competed in GAMMA under 2 different managers, but had most of his success under GAMMA HOF manager, Carlos Castenada (84794). Shane competed in GAMMA, back in 2020-04-19 when he joined our Contenders organization, he had just 5 fights outside of our affiliate before joining, after competing there for a few fights, he got promoted in 2020-10-03 and stayed with the organization for almost 3 years until 2023-09-02 when he retired.

He had a total of 48 fights for GAMMA with an overall record of 26-21-1. He is 15th all time in total finishes with 20 and competed in a total of 10 title fights with his biggest success being in the 185lbs division where he is a two time champion.

His biggest wins were over GAMMA greats such as Bill Newton, Papa Moosh Dambullah, Roland Weudke, Aurelius Augustus, Serafim Lupei, Santiago Costa, Jack Spratt among others.

His 179 total ranking points, place him at 54th in the all time ratings list.

This is Carlos Castenada (84794) 4th fighter to get inducted in the GAMMA hall of fame. Only Whymer Van Mastodon (40116) and Gale Hawthorne (22636) have more with 7 and 5 respectively.

The GAMMA organization is proud to induct Foot Fungus (302783) into it's Hall of Fame!

Foot Fungus (302783) (Now renamed to Ryan Dinu) competed in GAMMA under 1 different managers, but had most of his success under GAMMA HOF manager, Grumpy Bastard (102643). Foot competed in GAMMA, from 2019-09-21 until 2020-11-21, which is relatively a short period of time considering.

When he joined GAMMA, he was already an established stat after he had won the Syn Europe title and was a multiple KOFC champ prior to that.

His career in GAMMA was only 17 fights, with a record of 12-5-0. However what he lacked in volume, he covered in quality. He competed in a total of 9 title fights and 3 super fights and acheived massive acclaim after he entered the MMA Tycoon Hall of fame, reaching the #1 spot in the p4p rankings.

His biggest wins are over Darth Sidious, Michael Cole,     Alphonzo Mirage, Tomomi Tsuruta, Robert MacArthur Jnr,     Shawn Antoski and Song Turillo among others.

His 215 total points rank him 46 in the all time list of greatest GAMMA fighters. Only Simon Williams (58148) and Russ Rutger (62373) achieved more with 17 or less fights.

With this induction, Grumpy Bastard (102643) has not 3 fighters in the GAMMA Hall of Fame and is ranked 5th in the all time manager listings.

I have recently spent some time to update the GAMMA historical page. More specifically, now you can get a "live" update of the greatest fighters and managers in the organization's history. This means that i update the page as soon as a new fighter or manager is added, there is a separate document with tables and calculations ranking each fighter and manager.

Here is the link to the history page: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18u4iZ7ssA5uWSlD8KAUcXBdMsML0TbBU19V0J0VYkf0/edit

I have also made some adjustments to the formula for ranking fighters. This is how the formula looked before:

Old System
Highest rank - #1 60
Highest rank - #2 45
Highest rank - #3 30
Highest rank - #4 24
Highest rank - #5 20
Highest rank - #6 17
Highest rank - #7 14
Highest rank - #8 12
Highest rank - #9 11
Highest rank - #10 10

GAMMA Fighter of the year = 60
2nd place = 45
3rd place = 30

Tycoon Fighter of the year = 60
Tycoon Division Fighter of the year = 60

This is how the formula looks now:

New System
Highest rank - #1 100
Highest rank - #2 90
Highest rank - #3 80
Highest rank - #4 70
Highest rank - #5 60
Highest rank - #6 50
Highest rank - #7 45
Highest rank - #8 40
Highest rank - #9 35
Highest rank - #10 30

GAMMA Fighter of the year = 100
2nd place = 75
3rd place = 60

In short, i have totally removed the in game awards (because they are basically defunt now and very biased) and instead enhanced the in game top 10 rankings (which is based upon a formula) and the GAMMA awards (which is also based on a formula).

This is how the top rankings for fighters looks now:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PUBoZ76tUVYpy_catEueWyYOFJmuzuShj9IpdqmsMX0/edit#gid=0

I think the new system is more accurate and fair.

Crotch Grabber (310041) later renamed Andy Grabber competed in GAMMA from 2020-04-04 until 2021-04-10 under 2 different managers Grumpy Bastard (102643) and Bjorn O'Donnel (94172).

Before competing in GAMMA, he was already a veteran, winning regional belts for PFF, TGC and then at PPV level winning the prestigious PFC title.

Crotch had 17 fights with a record of 11-6-0. All his wins were via finishes, 13 of his fights were Fight of the Night classics.

He also competed at the very highest of levels as 10 of his fights were title or super fights.

He won the 265+ title in his very first GAMMA fight, holding both the GAMMA and PFC belt at the same time and he became a MMA Tycoon Hall of Famer, by being ranked #1 in the game after this fight. He ended up becoming a 2 tile GAMMA champion, with 3 title defenses.

His GAMMA career was cut short after change of management and spent the rest of his career on the indy scene with mainly OFK.

His biggest GAMMA wins were over Zdravko Saric, Orpheus Boagrius, Thierry Paulin, Roar Horse, Hiro Manowaru, Sunray Spike, Franck Kodjia among others.

This is Grumpy Bastard (102643) #4 induction into the GAMMA HOF, only 4 other managers have achieved the same feat in our history. This also moved Grumpy up to #5 in the all time GAMMA manager list.
