WuXia Posted April 13, 2017 Report Share Posted April 13, 2017 Hi to all, I'm trying to create a 25 "clinch-fighter", able to quickly enter this position and keep the opponent blocked in it. Which physical star should I choose? I opted for "Speed", but one of my fighters with a "Wonderful" Speed didn't get in the clinch even against a fighter with a lower Muay Thay, neither with an "Aggressor" slider set at 100 percent. Also, could the defense from takedowns be critical fpr this type of athlete, with a high Balance?.Should his groundwork be completely, to say so, "ignored" during creation, to concentrate his points only on standiìng defenses, or at least he should has high "Escapes" or "Defensive Grappling"? If you wanted to hold your opponent, grapple him, keep him from breaking free, what physical would you need to manhandle him? Lefty Posted April 17, 2017 Report Share Posted April 17, 2017 You will need good strength and decent speed, similar level of agility to defend striking and to use standing strikes so that clinching is not the only tool.
