Following a very successful debut event in Wild Bob's Bar in London the next exciting steps that this new Organisation JAG Battle League are taking is in Wild Bob’s Bar again on the 2nd June 2018. There was nearly a full house for “Trials by Fire II” on 26th May but seemingly the happy hour in the Dog and Duck pub beside the venue went on for a bit longer than expected and the sing song in the pub caused a slight dip in the attendance on the night! The Organisers have liaised with the Dog and Duck landlords and they have “pinky swore” that it won’t happen again, watch this space to see if their word is good!

Anyhow onto the next event which is another 8 fights in the cage with the lowest weight class of 145lbs going as far as the mammoth 265lbs class (that’s nearly 19 stone for us Europeans... ), I definitely wouldn’t fancy meeting Joe “Big Daddy” Stevenson in a dark alley as he is 199 cm / 6ft 5 inches and weighs 265 lbs / 19 stone. He hails from St Louis and if he doesn’t make it in MMA there would always be a place for him on the Cardinals football squad!

Shiba Inu (0-1-0) Random Cole (1-0-0)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41a2.jpg V http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/4/4b10.jpg

Top Match on the night is between Shiba Inu & Random Cole. Both of these fighters are relatively inexperienced with only one previous fight each before this event with differing outcomes for both fighters. Inu’s first fight was against Patrick O’Malley who showed some boxing skills on the night to KO Inu after 2.40mins of round 2 in their fight. Inu can fight well on the ground and has the ability to KO opponents and he will need to use all his tricks to bounce back from his debut loss. Cole on the other hand is coming off of an easy 1.36mins first round defeat of Hai Farrell, Cole didn’t even have to break sweat for this fight. Cole put his opponent down early and never let up pounding Farrell into tapping out. This should be a cracking fight as I suspect both fighters will try to keep this one on the canvas and I would favour Cole as the winner of this bout.

Next to top of the fights on the night is the pairing of Jake Seabrook and Kenny Kyffin

Record 1-0-0 (W-L-D Record 0-1-0 (W-L-D)

Jake “Wolf” Seabrook Kenny “TheButchBoy” Kuffin

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/35/35w22.jpg V http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/20/20b5.jpg

Once again two inexperienced fighters entering the cage for this bout, “Wolf” is a solid Muay Thai fighter and has the ability to floor opponents, admittedly in his debut fight he didn’t manage that as it took a split decision to award the fight to him following a close fight with Mate Jr recently. There was so much clinching going in his last fight the referee was close to bringing out a table and chairs and lighting a candle for a romantic dinner for two in the middle of the fight! Wolf’s opponent has been known as a bit of player on the dating scene so hopefully these two fight in the cage rather than make out :) “TheButchBoy” is coming into this fight off a one fight losing streak where Henry Wallace made short work of him when defeating him after 1.22mins of round one when he landed a couple of good elbows and punch combos that caused the ref to step in and end his misery. I think these 2 fighters are evenly matched skillswise with “Wolf” shading it in boxing skills but “TheButchBoy” being the better wrestler. If “TheButchBoy” can avoid some punches and elbows from the “Wolf” and gets him to the canvas this could be an interesting fight.

Another pairing on the undercard is the fight between Adam Vierhoven and Joe Sliver two heavyweights

Adam “The Butcher” Vierhoven Joe “Grinder” Sliver

Record 1-0-0 (W-L-D) Record 0-0-0 (W-L-D)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/28/28w1.jpg V http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/31/31b28.jpg

The Butcher has some experience of MMA with ont fight against Roth under his belt with Sliver stepping into the cage for the first time professionally tonight. Vierhoven’s only ever fight ended after 1.32 mins of round one when Vierhoven got on top of his opponent on the night - Roth and nearly cracked his skull open with a nasty head shot and won by way of KO (Strikes). Vierhoven is a very confident brawler and is not afraid to come out swinging and will do his best to take the fight to the canvas with his superior wrestling ability. Vierhoeven is the better boxer of the pair but Sliver is by far and away the better Muay Thai specialist and expect him to use this to his advantage, he is also the taller and heavier of the pair so may have the power to take Vierhoven down. If Sliver can keep standing for this fight and avoid the canvas I think he can land a win on his debut.

Another good pairing on the night is between the light heavyweights of Sancho and Steamo.

Victor “The Phoenix” Sancho Tone “No Luck” Steamo

Record 1-0-0 (W-L-D) Record 1-0-0 (W-L-D)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/32/32w26.jpg V http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/39/39w20.jpg

Both of these fighters have only one fight under their belts and Steamo is not living up to his nickname of “No Luck” with a debut win against Alvin Goff where he controlled the fight from start to finish. This was a very controlled performance from Steamo and it went to the third round before Steamo finally wore his opponent down and ended up hailing punches on his opponent to win by way of KO in 1.12 mins of round 3. Very polished performance indeed and Sancho will have his work cut out for him in this fight. Steamo has the better boxing skills of the pair and with Steamo’s Muay Thai skills this could either end up going the full hog or ending in the first round. My money would be on Steamo on this fight and I expect him to come out brawling and taking the fight to Sancho, the two are well matched on the canvas and a stray knee or elbow could end this bout early!

Summary of the rest of the card is as follows:

Marcel “The Python” Dikoume John “Butterfly” Doe

Record 1-0-0 (W-L-D) V Record 0-1-0 (W-L-D

CJ “Bad Man” Johnson Lyoto “Drago” Machida

You have fighters stuck? Have you ever contacted me and asked for fighters to be released? And, what reason do you want them released? Have I done something wrong to hurt your fighters careers? If you want fighters released, just contact me.

I quoted and was talking to Marius.

On topic: I don’t have any fighters in This one, nIs there an ID restriction? Like 330k?

Next exciting event on the cards in the fantastic venue of Wild Bob’s bar in swinging London is Trials by Fire Part II. Part II was sold out at the same venue following a quiet word in the ear of the local bar landlord in the dog and duck to make sure that everyone left the venue to attend the MMA showdown next door. (Editor note: The quiet word in the ear was had by a 6ft 10inch bouncer by the name of “Mad Barry” who has been in prison more than he has been on the outside and had questionable morals). Anyway the previous event went off brilliantly and we would expect the same for this event

Top of the bill for the night is the showdown between Linhart and Sedlacek

Fred "The Little Thief" Linhart Martin "The Python" Sedlace

Record 1-0-0 (W-L-D) Record 3-0-0 (W-L-D)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1b13.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/34/34w22.jpg

Not sure about the nicknames on this fight but assume Fred’s nickname is from the time he spend in jail for petty larceny from his local Tesco store in Hornsey, he still claims to this day that the he was minding the TV, DVD player, Stereo for a friend in his apartment…. Heard that one before. But anyway Fred faces the more experienced Martin Sedlacek in this bout who is on a 3 fight unbeaten streak. Martin is well able to take a punch and indeed may have to take several from Fred who has pretty decent boxing talent and absolutely outmatches Martin in this department but Fred also has some skills on the canvas so he’s not to be underestimated as he won his debut fight by way of TKO in 3.10mins of round one against Whitehead. The Python has won all of his 3 fights in round one with the longest fight he has had lasting 1.57mins so he comes out of the blocks early and aggressive. I would expect The Python to try to get in close to Fred and try to negate his boxing ability by bringing the fight to the canvas and keeping it there!

Next to top of the fights on the night is the pairing of Steve Jr & Shoemaker

Mark Steve Jr Jordan “AJ” Shoemaker

Record 0-0-0 (W-L-D) Record 1-0-0 (W-L-D)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14870305405472.png http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/29/29w20.jpg

This is Junior’s first fight and he is coming up against an impressive boxer in “AJ”, AJ’s debut fight ended with him not even breaking a sweat when he knocked out Rowe with a swift combo and the fight ended after 12 seconds of round one! What a performance by AJ and he sweated more in the nightclub after the fight when he heard that the Playboy bunnies were in town for a swimsuit show. He is a brawler with a solid chin so expect him to come out swinging in this fight. The tale of the tape on this one is interesting in that both fighters appear weak on BJJ but AJ is the much better boxer and wrestler but with Jr being much better in Muay Thai, Jr will try to use his height advantage to good effect and keep AJ from getting too close and this should work in his favour! I’d call this one in AJ’s favour

Another pairing on the undercard is the fight between Michaels and Sali

Pat “music” Michaels Bryan “Rower” Sall

Record 0-1-0 (W-L-D) Record 1-0-0 (W-L-D)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1w16.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/32/32w35.jpg

Both of these lads have only one fight each under their belt with differing fortunes, Music has a unanimous decision after 3 rounds against his first opponent when really taking it to the wire but losing by way of the judges opinion on the night and Rower won with an incredible 5 second win against his opponent! Rumour has it that his opponent was cozying up to the Rowers arm candy and hence the aggressive start to the fight but that’s not confirmed at this stage. His first act of the night was to nearly take Lane’s head clean off with a kick. Given the sheer aggression of the fighters I would love to see Rower V AJ in the future to see what these two animals could do to each other in the ring :). In relation to this fight there is not much really between these fighters with Rower slightly favoured when it comes to wrestling but they are pretty even other than that - I can’t call this one but if pushed I would lean towards Rower for this fight.

Another pairing on the night is between the Nakamura & Nasty

Shinksuke “The Artist” Nakamura Jack “Nasty Pasty” Nasty

Record 1-0-0 (W-L-D) Record 1-0-0 (W-L-D)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21b4.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/37/37b28.jpg

This should be an interesting fight as Nasty (So Nasty he is named Nasty twice!) is bigger and heavier than The Artist but as we all know bigger isn’t always better (at least that’s what I keep telling my wife anyway !!) and The Artist is the much better boxer and Muay Thai fighter than Nasty. The Artist lived up to his name in his first round when he came out dodged a body kick countered with a overhand punch and cut open his opponent - fight over couple of seconds later when he dodged a takedown attempt and landed the most fantastic right hand to knock Moody out cold after 30 seconds of round one! Very confident performance from him on the night. Nasty performed well in his first encounter when he won by way of submission near the end of the first round of his first fight, he is a determined character and is a good wrestler so I would expect him to get in tight to Nakamura and try to keep him on the canvas while Nakamura will no doubt try to keep the fight standing.

Summary of the rest of the card is as follows:

Larry “Lump” Haggus Andreas “AndreasCY” Adamou

Record 0-1-0 (W-L-D) Record 1-0-0 (W-L-D

Marqos Brendao Roberto “Gonzalez” Genius

Record 1-0-0 (W-L-D) Record 2-0-0 (W-L-D)

Jere “Tappy” WIlly Ronald “Lightweight” Bush

Record 0-0-0 (W-L-D) Record 0-1-0 (W-L-D)

Nate “Nasty” Edwards Patrick “Boss” Simpson

Record 0-1-0 (W-L-D) Record 0-1-0 (W-L-D

Next exciting event on the cards for JAG Battle League is Trials by Fire Part IV in The Underground arena in London, due to the success of the last few events we have moved to a bigger arena although rumour has it that even Wild Bobs wasn't able to handle the headcases that have been coming to watch the most recent events. Another 8 match exhibition is on show and should live up to the building hype that surrounds recent fights for this new org. As a result of the newer venue and success of the last few events we have even been able to afford to hire real ring girls as opposed to the guy we had to enlist for other events whose previous call to fame was doing a pot noodle ad! ( Note: google pot noodle ring ad and you will see him in action - absolutely brilliant ad :) )

Anyhow on to the next event with top of the bill going to Miles V Cohle

John Miles Ruston "Taxman" Cohle

Record: 1-0-0 (W-L-D) Record: 1-0-0 (W-L-D)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/27/27w12.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/32/32w41.jpg

This makes for an interesting main event in that both men are unbeaten in their only 2 fights to date, both of these lads are similar height and weight so this one is going to be decided on pure skill alone. Miles won his first fight when he literally came out swinging and nearly took Patricks eye out of its socket with the first punch he ever threw in anger in the ring! Following this punch his opponent tried to get him to canvas but Miles stayed strong dodged couple of kicks and then moved in with a sensational combo to knock Patrick on his arse and that was it - ref had to dive in to save his opponent from ending up seriously hurt. Win by TKO (punches) after 51 seconds of round one. Cohle on the other hand had to work a bit harder for his win when winning by way of submission (Americana) in 1.55mins of Round 2. This fight was fought mostly on the ground and Cohle celebrations afterwards were bordering on porn when gyrating with the ring girls after winning his bout, lets hope his hot tub session with 4 of the ring girls didn't take too much energy off him for this fight! This will be interesting as Miles is the much better boxer but Cohle is way ahead of Miles in the Muay Thai and wrestling departments. My guess is Cohle will go for legs to wear Miles down then take it to the floor to finish..

Next on the event card is the Heavyweight pairing of King & Dark

Anthony "The One" King Michael "Dark Destroyer" Dark

Record: 1-0-0 (W-L-D) Record: 1-0-0 (W-L-D)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/13/13b19.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/11/11b3.jpg

This is an interesting pairing pitting "The One" from across the pond to local boy come good Michael Dark. It's not long ago that The Dark Destroyer was running from the cops in the streets around the Underground arena so it's good to see him actually get paid to fight now. Local cops are delighted and their injury rates have declined rapidly since Michael went pro. Both these fighter have one win to their names and The One had to work hard to win by unanimous decision after a full 3 rounds, it was a tight decision and he just got the votes of all the judges. There was not many punches thrown in anger in his first fight (in fact I think there was only one!!) so don't expect King to stay on his feet for too long if his last fight was anything to go by. The Dark Destroyer also won his debut fight also by way of unanimous decision but his was a more emphatic vote by the judges. This was another fight with very little in the way of punches thrown which is surprising given Dark's good intelligence and decent boxing skills. If previous fight is anything to go by these lads are going to spend more time on the canvas than the ladies of the night that might be in the arena for this event! Dark has much better boxing skills but King's Muay Thai is top drawer, this could be interesting as both are equally matched in BJJ and wrestling and this was where most of their last fights took place! I'm gonna tip the Dark Destroyer if he comes out swinging and hopefully tries for TKO in the first round.

3rd highest event on the cards is the Superheavyweight pairing of Jones & Haram

Jake "The Fat Sibling" Jones Shaidar Haram

Debut Fight Debut Fight

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/38/38w13.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/28/28b21.jpg

These two rookies are fighting their first professional bouts and its America versus Portugal for this event. These 2 lads are massive tipping the scales at 265/270 pounds when at their highest. Jake Jones is a bit of a loose cannon ever since his childhood and 5 years of therapy from when he weighed over 340lbs and defintely earned his nickname "the Fat Sibling", now to be fair his brother weighed over 300lbs himself so he probably should be called "the slightly fatter sibling" but who cares now as Jake is a lean mean fighting machine now and has a lot of pent up anger issues from the bullying he suffered in school - God help Haram as who knows what Jake might do if he sees someone eating a burger in the crowd! This is hard to call with no previous from either fighter but Haram is definitely much better at Muay Thai than Jones who appears to be an exceptional boxer. Both are fairly even in the other departments, I would expect both fighter to go toe to toe and wear each other down before looking for either a killer punch (Jones) or knockout kick (Haram). I would favour Jones slightly on this one as I'd say he will come out swinging.

4th Highest on the card is the Lightweight bout of Claessens & Buddy

Matteo "The Machine" Claessens Matt "Fck" Buddy

Record: 0-1-0 (W-L-D) Record: 0-1-0 (W-L-D)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/22/22w8.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/18/18w10.jpg

The Machine hail from Belgium which in case has the highest divorce rates in the whole of Western Europe in case you didn't know, but from the chiseled jaw and designer stubble of the Machine he would make a happily married woman leave her husband in a heartbeat so it's not surprising to hear there is a lot of divorces if they all look as fantastic as the Machine :). Matt is a Swansea man and in 1823 the first ever human fossil was found near Swansea, it was dated over 33,000 years old and seemingly looked remarkably like Matt and his family! Matt won't win any beauty contests but has been chiseled by many years on building sites in his home town so don't expect him to be soft in anyway. Both the lads are coming off the back of defeats so will be keen to prove themselves in this bout. Buddy lost his bout in 1.50mins of round three when beaten by way of submission (triangle) by Frances Hamilton. Hamilton was the more aggressive fighter and showed the better groundwork to defeat him, he determination helped him to last as long as he did under incessant pressure from his opponent. The Machine lost his first fight after 0.48mins of round 2 by way of KO (flying knee). He was hit by some kicks then more kicks followed by more kicks then a knee in the chest and lights out for the Machine. The Machine was battered and bruised after that fight then there was over 30 kicks flying in from his opponent, it says a lot about the Machines heart that he lasted so long against Pritchards onslaught. He is a good wrestler but couldn't get close enough to him to make it count. Buddy is miles ahead of The Machine in the MT department so if the fights goes the same was as the Machine's first fight he could be in trouble. The Machine is a much better boxer and wrestler so if he can in past the kicks/knees and take it to the floor he has a chance on this one.

The rest of the night is taken up with the following fights

Kent "Wolf" Mcallum Luke "The Train" Trendall

Record: 0-1-0 (W-L-D) Record: 0-1-0 (W-L-D)

Jimmy "HotStep" Leiton Brayden Point

Record: 0-1-0 (W-L-D) Debut Fight

Joel "Hitman" Huxton Tyler "The Don" Severn

Record: 0-1-0 (W-L-D) Record: 0-1-0 (W-L-D)

Manny "Man" Sanchez Tibe "h41" Hali

Record: 1-1-0 (W-L-D) Record: 0-2-0 (W-L-D)

That's all for now folks once again thanks to the manager for releasing their fighters for these events and lets hope it's a great evening

Any feedback on the event previews is greatly appreciated, thank you and good night MMA Tycoon
