What this means? AdamHolland Posted August 3, 2017 Report Share Posted August 3, 2017 I have picked up FA's and changed names before, I did so after much consideration because it's right that a previous owner or even the community should not want legends and well-known fighters identity's to change, it's a natural response, I believe GBK has expressed his dislike for the practice before and I take that opinion to heart, with that said when I have made the choice to change names I have made a point to include elements of the previous name when possible to ensure some kind of continuity.With that said, if I had created a fighter who for whatever reason I had released but had some history or value to him I would actually be pretty unhappy if his name was changed so I find myself torn on this, I do feel if this was to be a feature that the cost of setting a name to locked should be around 2x the cost of a change to ensure it's only done when it really mean's something, but I'm not against it... What's the difference...? People already give fighters retarded names when they create them. People already pick up a fighter from FA and changed their name and give them retarded names... Are you really going to lock every fighter you create, if he could turn out to be worthless when testing him the first time? Only giving the option to lock to the original manager I agree with though Yeah i see your point and if its only for the original manager then i would be happy to see it introduced, would it be easier for the programmer if you had to lock the name and avatar together instead of seperately ?? It would be better if you would be able to swap fighter or give other your fighter for free or even for money. And if Mike wants to make more money lets put it like this. Lock fighter name 20 VIP days and unlock fighter name 40 VIP days.
