Monsieur.Camara
this part: Each team gets 1 Tag out per round of fights. If a team chooses to tag out, it must be done within 24hrs of posting of a match-up (this is to allow me time to sort out the changes and send fight offers) If we gonna have 4 weeks between fights can we give at least 48-72 hours for this? not everyone is online every day. 72 seems fair no? imcool
Anyone else think 4 weeks between fights is a bit much? We aren't fighting w/ projects, so "time to train" shouldn't be a factor. Just curious on everyones thoughts.
BlakePhoenix
I think he was thinking that champions of other orgs who are in this tourney could defend their belts mid way in between events for this tourney, but 2 weeks between fights isn't enough if a guy has 15 or 16 days worth of injuries, so IMO it should be 3 weeks between events if guys aren't fighting elsewhere and 6 weeks between fights if they are. Yes, the purpose of 4 weeks is to allow fighters signed to other orgs (title holders) to defend their titles in other orgs. This was suggested early on by an entered fighter that was then a title holder...currently we have only 1 title holder....However, after looking at all the fighters again, it appears that 1 fighter is accepted a title shot fight on 6/21 and another fighter accepted a fight for 6/15...6/15 was the original scheduled start date with the 22nd being the backup day if injuries were an issue...So, now I don't know...I can't fault fighters signed to another org for accepting a fight, especially a title shot. But, it kind of sucks I wasn't informed I just happened to come across the fighters. I also recall sending emails out to all managers of fighters letting them know when the start dates were going to be. Any suggestions from the masses involved? I can't see postponing into July to start as fighters have been getting antsy as it is...even my own fighter is becoming difficult to keep up with deppops. goodtymes31
Who were the ones who screwed up? I think one of your options is to start it up since it's a random draw, and those guys become automatic losses for their team, since you gave them plenty of notice on our start date. Honestly mate, I think the only way to do things like this is get fighters signed up properly to your org, not loans. Even then, it's a "I'll believe it when I see it" kind of thing and I'd only confirm them once they have actually signed the contract. imcool
That's rather grimey. I would say see if there are replacements for these fighters, because we will never get this thing started like that. Maybe 1 manager that has to fighters? I could combine the managers of the 2 fighters who've booked fights on our start dates.......Otherwise, yes I'd consider a forfeit loss, just sucks for the teammates, cuz it wasn't their fault. Monsieur.Camara
oh nooooooo Grumpyyyyyy I emailed him, asked him to see if he wanted to enter Foot Fungus who is at SYN and does not have any fights upcoming. If not I will find another manager with a really really high ranking fighter. That should not be problem
BlakePhoenix
My guy Mick Murphy is still a Synchronicity Champion and he consistently has 16 days worth of injuries after every fight, This means 4 weeks between tag tournament rounds is not long enough for hime to defend his belt (uninjured) in between and then come back to the next round of the tag tournament uninjured. In regards to some fighters accepting June fights in their home orgs, I thought you were going to work out scheduling with the other org owners. Have you not been in discussions with the other org owners to work out a mutually agreeable schedule? This would be a good idea since you need to borrow fighters from their orgs - let the org owners know when you need to borrow the fighters so they wont schedule conflicting fights. XxxtremeT13
So, I've reached out to the remaining fighters current signed orgs about releasing the fighters or at least working with me with the fight dates. all other fighters are currently signed to PSE for the start of this thing. 1 fighter fights tomorrow and will be released after... a few others have fights on the 8th and I think will be released after that (waiting for confirmation). To fix the issue with the 2 fighters having fights now on our expected start date. I will enter another of my fighters, thus decreasing my chances of winning I messaged the manager who I was teamed with about teaming up with cue dini which would resolve 1 team...the other team would be that of camara, which somehow I figure he'll end up with another partner before long. So, 6/15 is what I'm hoping for so you guys who fight on the 8th......don't get hurt!
XxxtremeT13
I've got confirmation from 4 of 5 orgs currently that they'll release the fighters or have already loaned them to PSE...camara has messaged me about an option I will be looking into to fix his partner issue.
