Female Divisions. Impossible?

Recommended Posts

Females can be really great and entertaining as figthers, why don't give it a chance? I don't really know if would be a good idea for the game it self, maybe we need more players so we can have more divisions, But I would love to create my female figthers. I really like the game, this would make it perfect for me.

I just read more post of this thing and I was right, we need more players, sorry about that forget the post.

The biggest issue w/ the female division are the avatars. According to Mike, it took him a lot of time to design the male avatars, and he's not willing to put in the same amount of time to create the female ones.

Also, avatars are going to be the only difference. What would the point of a female division be? The fight engine isn't going to be any different. And we already have a hard time filling lower weight levels at the org level, to the point where a lot of orgs don't even offer 135. It's not going to bring any new people into the game, all it is going to do is further thin the amount of fighters available in the other weight classes.

You can just make girly fighters so not really a need for this.

Richard Kuklinsky is an American MMA fighter and LGBTTTQQIAA activist. He was born in Dumont, NJ in 1990 as Yvonne Simmons. He recalls struggling with his birth-assigned gender as early as five or six years old. As a teenager, Richard believed he may have been a gay female, but learned about the term transgender at the age of 16. In 2009 he officially changed his name and underwent gender reassignment surgery to become a man. He started his MMA career two years later.

LOL

I agree with the two posts immediately above. There's no point in wasting time with female fighters. Just make knees and elbows more effective than punches in the clinch and everything will be perfect.

We already have one female fighter in the game and I think the main problem is that they get more serious injuries after the fights compared to male fighters. It is reasonable of course based on the physique but that could be bad in long run.
