gwad12345
Hey, small thing. Since the new update the engine has been keeping track of how many clinch attempts/successes/ there are in each fight and displaying it in the fight statistics. This is a great addition and something I proposed should be included a while back so thank you for adding it (although in a perfect world I would also like to see break clinch attempt/successes as well as escape attempts/successes). There does appear to be a problem in keeping track of the clinch attempts however. As you can see in this fight it says I only attempted one clinch while at succeeded twice. This obviously doesnt make sense and the most obvious explanation is that the engine doesnt count counter clinches as clinch attempts, only successes. As you can see in the play-by-play I succeeded in counter clinching twice and attempted one other clinch in the fight and failed (presumably this is the only clinch counted as an attempt). http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=699996
Stu_Pidasol
Counter moves have never been counted as attempts in the engine although I think that may be changing soon when mike fixes the counters
gwad12345
Counter moves have never been counted as attempts in the engine although I think that may be changing soon when mike fixes the counters It always counted other counter-moves such as counter-takedowns as attempts in the fight statistics. Observe: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=692394 There is one failed takedown just before the 1 minute mark then he hits the counter takedown. The statistics show 2 attempts and one success. As I said its not a really big deal, its just the fight statistics but I think it should be consistent with everything else.
