Ryu "Usami" Musashi (246815)

Once upon a time there was a family so rich, that they had as much money themselves as the rest of Japan had together.
The head of the family was called Raiko Musashi and was known under the name of The Green Dragon in the world. He was the most searched after man in the history of Interpol. Raiko was believed to have killed 87 persons himself and ordered the assassinations of over 300 others. The only problem was that there was no evidence and not a single human being was found that dared testifying against him. He was easily the most brutal killer to have ever set foot on this earth. He didn't just kill his victims, he destroyed them. On 24 August 1994 , one of his wives gave birth to Ryu "Usami" Musashi.
The boy was threated like a prince as he would be the next heir of the trown of the Yakuza. After he spend most of his childhood in a huge palace with 100 servants and everything he wanted, Raiko his advisors told him that it was time to find out if Ryu had what was needed to inherit the title of The Green Dragon. At the age of 17,
Ryu was send to the wolves and had to live in the wilderness for almost one year. Not only did he survive the horrible situation he was put in, he actually had even become the packleader of the wolves. His father was amazed by what he saw and smiled. He knew he had raised his son well. The Yakuza had a bright future.

As soon as he became 18 years old, he joined a gym and started training MMA. His trainers soon saw that they had a big talent in their ranks and decided that he should test himself with a first fight.
Vhong Lee was brave enough to step up and take the challenge. Unfortunately for him, Musashi was way to strong and KO'ed him into retirement in the beginning of the second round.

Clark Terry was his next opponent and pretty much the same story again. The only difference was that it only took Ryu 9 seconds this time to end the career of his opponent. The Japanese wonderkid went on to also win his third pro fight by stoppage after just 1min13sec. He decided that it was time to get a fight with a better opponent and faced Young Blood, an excellent boxer with KO- power. He was undefeated also at the time.
Ryu dominated the fight for 3 rounds before ending it with a big uppercut in the fourth.

He absolutely wanted to go 5-0-0 before getting back into training camp and booked a fight with Da Silva. The poor fellow as knocked out cold with a stunning uppercut in the first round. His manager had seen enough and knew that his pupil was a great talent. The 20 year old has a new fight sceduled against a 28year old opponent. Ryu might not have the advantage in experience, but he is for sure not a guy to take lightly. He told me that he is very much looking forward to destroying another opponent and get his hand raised for the sixth consecutive time.

Ryu "Usami" Musashi (246815)

After going 6-0-0 in my early MMA career, me and my manager have decided that it's time to move on and look out for new opportunities. I am now available for contract offers. I'm looking for an org with fair fights and a competitive 205lbs division where I want to be one of the contenders for the title. I'm a finisher and don't want any of my fights to go to the judges. 6 fights, 6 finishes, 4 in the first round...!!

I'm starting to become a complete martial artist and that's a great feeling.
You can contact my manager and coach Bjorn O'Donnel if you are interested in me.

It's been a while since I had my last fight. I'm happy to finally get back into the octagon and prove how good I am. My opponent looks like a competent fighter, but I doubt he will be able to upset me . My power and skills is just too much to deal with. Nobody has been able to deal with that so far and neither will he .

I'm looking to make a statement in my debut and I look forward to getting my hand raised again.

I'm not to happy with how my debut went. I always want to finish the fight and I wasn't capable of doing so. I hadn't warmed up good enough and was cut by his first punch of the fight. The cut bothered me a bit as I had seen many fights being stopped for it in the last few fights. I never really got into beast mode , but I was still able to clearly outwork my opponent. I'm happy that my debut is over, and that I can focus on the future. I personally feel like I'm the logical next number one contender, but I'll let that decision be made by the org owner. At the end of the day, the most important thing for me is to keep improving and get as good as I possibly can. I want to thank my opponent for the good fight!

I'm looking forward to my next challenge. I'm fighting a Russian submission fighter who has 11 submission victories allready. But he also has 4 (t)KO losses.

And having a bad chin against a guy like me isn't a good idea. I know what you'll try to do my Russian friend, but I'm going to deal with it and the fight will go my way. After that fight, the only thing that makes sense to me is to get the next title shot.

Tune in to see me fight guys as I'm going to put on a great show!

Once again, I was victorious. I manhandled the Russian blackbelt and showed the world that being great in one thing just isn't going to make you a good MMA fighter. I'm a complete fighter and wouldn't even have had problems with going to the ground with this blackbelt. I like to challenge myself against tough opponents. I'm going to be cageside next week when the champ defends his belt. Let one thing be clear, I'm the number one contender now after finishing this Russian Bjj fighter in just one round. No matter who wins the title fight next week, I want the next shot.

C'mon guys, show me your support. This belt is mine for the taking and it's only a matter of time.

You can see the replay of my last fight here.

I just received the fight offer to fight the champ in 30 days. Accepted the fight within seconds.

There was no doubt in my mind that I was the next number one contender for a single moment. The champ is an ultratough opponent, but I'm tough as nails as well, so this should be an epic fight. Good luck to my opponent. Let's make this the fight of the century!

I have most likely my toughest test to date next. My oponent is just like me a standup warrior with great KO-power. He'll be looking to win by KO and so will I . I love finishing my opponents, altough a long good battle could be fun as well, but none of my opponents so far have been able to get me into a dogfight yet. Maybe the champion will be that guy. One thing is sure, the fans will be the real winners. It will either be a flashy KO or a brutal war. Good luck to my opponent. I respect you and your style. Lets meet in the middel of the octagon and see who is the king of the division.

Shankoli is prepared to throw some bombs tonight! He's been training hard and he's gonna leave it all in the ring! That belt is his, wwe both have tons of respect for you and your manager, but my feeling is that you need to take this loss and get a little more experience under your belt! ;) JK

Shankoli said he's buying you and your manager beers after the fight win or lose!

Be prepared to get hit with the heaviest shots of your career. I hope your ready for the big time.

One love!

Thanks for the beers! It gave me some comfort after the fight. It isn't fun to lose, but I know it was far from the end of the world for me. I just need to focus on building myself up again and coming back stronger than ever. Thanks for the good lesson.

I have decide to move down a weightclass and see how I'll do over there. I feel like my height will be better at 185lbs, so I'm currently losing weight to easily make the weight cut before a fight. Once that I'm sure that my weight is at a good level and my training has been going well, I'll call the org owner and ask him to set a fight up for me. Best of luck to the 205lbs division and a return for me is still possible. Time will tell. Who knows, perhaps I can even make 170lbs later in my career....

I'm having my first fight at 185lbs tomorrow and I'm curious how it will go. I feel fresh , strong and ready, but tomorrow I'll know more. My opponent has won 4 of his 5 fights at New Era Xtreme, so I'm not taking him lightly at all, but I'm confident in myself and believe I can put on a great show for the fans and prove why I am the next big thing in this org. I have a few suprises up my sleeves for my opponent and the rest of the division. Good luck to my opponent.

After my win last night I improved to 9-1-0 with 7 (t)KO finishes, but I'm not totally happy with how the fight went. I felt less good than I was expecting. My opponent was willing to fight standing with me longer than I expected and it sort of messed up for some part my gameplan. It was still a decisive victory, but not the way I wanted. I know what went 'wrong' and what I need to work on, so I'll come back even stronger. Thank you to Sebastatian for the good fight! People rated our fight very high.

I have been awarded the next title shot at 185lbs against the current champion Jason Sturd Jr. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting him to win his title defense, let alone so clearly. Impressive performance from the champ, but he does better not take me lightly or he'll get the asswhooping of a lifetime. He has faced some good fighters, but he has never faced someone as good as me. I'm aiming to get my hand raised at the end of the fight, since that's the most important thing in a title fight, but I hope that it doesn't go to the judges as they always favor the current champions.

Good luck champ! Make sure you are ready, because I will be !

I'm proud to announce that I'm the new middleweight champion of the world! My one punch KO power once again proved to much for my opponent. He ducked under a fake jab and then I unleashed another great uppercut that knocked him out clean. I heard his teeth were found backstage.

I improve my record to 10-1 with this record and 8 of those fights being finishes. I also entered the top 500 p4p and I'm ranked 413th now. A big congrats to my training partner Dickie as well for his shocking one punch KO victory in the mad cash tournament, were he advances to the semi-final after two brilliant performances. Good luck brother!

It looked like you had the beginnings of an interesting career starting but I haven't seen anything of you since you won the belt? What's happened to you man, have you retired at the top of your game or are you taking another fight? Or is there just no-one brave enough to step up and fight you?

If it's because no-one will fight you, I'll jump on a plane and we can get in the cage. Hell, I'll even fight you for the fun of it and you don't have to worry about losing your belt.
