GiankaBonghi
So i never got any message from any fighter before, but right now i got this one. " One of your fighters, Yuki Masakazu, attended an amateur MMA show to support cancer research. A popular move amongst local fans." What does it even mean?? is it because of a hidden or just a "random event" that increased the hype?

Guest
just random, there is also sometimes random events when your fighter is flying. or ones saying your fighter slipped getting out of the shower and isnt very bright.
KawasakiRamenBlitz
I sometimes wish events around fighters and their "real life" were a bit more frequent. It would make logging in a tad more exciting and add a bit of flavour and story to each fighter.
KingEpicity
Yeah that's one of the more common random events that will happen to your fighters every now and then. That one just ramdomly gives your fighter a small pop boost. There is one I have never gotten that increases your morale, I think that is the mommy phone call one. There is one that most believe hints your fighter's IQ is not too great and that is the stubbed toe one. I know there is more but I can't think of any at this moment but basically just random events. We need more random fighter IQ tests imo.
Guest
what does these mean if any "Hurley cracks Navi with a solid left hand. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hurley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand". Jones drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Jones as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Unken screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Jones! Nice submission victory there!

Yeah that's just randomly selected flavor text for a missed ground n pound and a submission.

MasterLeader
Yeah that's just randomly selected flavor text for a missed ground n pound and a submission. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=811910 "Lee's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Karimov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lee scrambles back to his feet." Does this show my fighter has a good chin and/or heart due to recovering instantly and not even getting the "YOU'RE ROCKED" banner? Bwang
No I don't think so. It is again flavour text. If he was hit harder he may have been rocked, but wasn't so there you go. Can't deduce his chin or heart or his opponents KO power from this.

It can possibly mean that he got injured during the fight actually, this thing happened to one of my fighter, and despite NOT RECEIVING A SINGLE PUNCH/HIT he was injured for 4 days. You can also win a fight by KO with a jab but that doesn't mean anything other than the RNG selected that flavor text it. It would be cool if stuff like jab KOs was reserved for guys with high KO power. It can possibly mean that he got injured during the fight actually, this thing happened to one of my fighter, and despite NOT RECEIVING A SINGLE PUNCH/HIT he was injured for 4 days. Mike said you can injure yourself in all sorts of ways. You can throw a punch and not get hit snd still get injured. I guess consider it a broken hand. Guest
How do use raise before your next fight? My fighter lost half of his morale after winning 2 in a row. Was it because it was Big match.

Guest
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two Does this mean he isnt fit
Timqwe
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two Does this mean he isnt fit It means that he is too tall for the weightclass he's fighting in. There aren't that many 6'3" welterweights around irl (Neil Magny comes to mind, but he's very thin and cuts quite some weight.

So should i make him gain weight or could he still make a ok fighter for the next 2 in game years
GiankaBonghi
Yeah, it also happen every time you make 4.9ft tall fighters, says something " he resemble a character from a cartoon", thats simply an indication that your weight height ratio is ridicolous. Timqwe
So should i make him gain weight or could he still make a ok fighter for the next 2 in game years I'm not sure to be honest. Logically, he might fit better at middleweight, but I with the right gameplan and skills he might do well at welter. Maybe a more experienced player can answer that? Logically, he might fit better at middleweight, but I with the right gameplan and skills he might do well at welter. Maybe a more experienced player can answer that? He's way too tall - he'll be tall at Middleweight also. Definitely make him gain 15-20lbs. Also - the only strategy I find effective for tall fighters is to take the fight to the clinch, pull guard and submit. See my fighters Lucio Gracie (released) or Julio Galvao for reference. Shovel Knight often does this also when he was on a long win streak. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=287638 http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=287954 http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=268977
Guest
Is it true that when my fighter's tale of the tape reads that he is "good in bed" that he has high confidence?
GiankaBonghi
Nah, just mean he is pretty much average in most hiddens. On a side note, one of my fighters got deported, just received the message today, he is a jihadi terrorist :X
