  1. --------------------------------------- DFC 51 Preview --------------------------------------- Hello DFC Las Vegas we are fresh off an action packed weekend with 2 very exciting cards. Of course our big one was DFC 50 where the fans had plenty to cheer about. We crowned a new Heavyweight champion as well as finally solidifying a 155 champion. Congratulations go out to Tarn and Marat on their respective title wins. Marat will be entering into the TWGC tournament coming up so we wish him the best of luck and hope he brings home another title to the DFC Las Vegas trophy case. Fight Night also seen a few new faces as well as a few fighters making their ways into title shot pictures. We also seen 2 fights the Johnson vs. House and Runner vs. Collins both have a 100% fight rating according to the fans which is incredible. We at DFC Las vegas wanted to give some of the love back and moving forward each Of The Night award will now be $5000 which is a big increase from the $1000 per we were giving out. Our fighters and their managers deserve the best and we want to show our appreciation right back to them. Enough about the past let's look forward to DFC 51 coming up February 17th from Hard Knocks Las Vegas --------------------------------------- Opening Fight - Division: 135lbs David Neil v Jason Maher --------------------------------------- We start the night off in the bantamweight division here. We have the relative newcomer to DFC LV David Neil coming off of 3rd round loss to Johnny Pearson looking very hungry. The proficient boxer is looking to keep his distance in this fight and use his footwork and head movement to bring home the win in this one. Jason Maher is no stranger to the cage and unfortunately is riding a 6 fight losing streak that is putting his career ub jeopardy here if he cannot pull off the win. The Muay Thai/Jiu Jitsu hybrid is looking to formulate some sort of a game plan to get back in the good graces of MMA fans. What that game plan is for him is a very good question. My Prediction: David Neil wins by 2nd round TKO. --------------------------------------- 2nd Fight - Division: 155lbs Clarence Van Gaal v Victor Von Lotusflower --------------------------------------- When you have two bad bald men with pretty impressive records you know this one is going to be an all out war. CVG is coming off an amazing win against Lean Lang in his DFC Las vegas debut since he came over from our former affiliates DFC SP. CVG knows with a win over VVL that a title shot is just within reach and the same goes for VVL if he can beat CVG. CVG I believe here has the slight better stand up and also the jiu jitsu. VVL cannot and will not be taken lightly. VVL is now on his 3rd manager, but since he has signed on with current manager Badal Kumar he is enjoying a 3 fight win streak and is looking to add to that record by what some would consider the upset of if can come away with the win. My Prediction: Winner by unanimous Decision Victor Von Lotusflower --------------------------------------- 3rd Fight - Division: 145lbs Raylan Steele v Max Power --------------------------------------- We have up next some featherweight action with a boxer style fighter going against a jiu jitsu specialist. Steele has been a familiar face in the DFC LV cage with all 7 of his fights underneath our very roof. He usually come out to"Nothing Else Matters", but what does matter here is Steele needs this win more than ever. Not only would have have back to back wins, but it would start his push towards a title opportunity in the future. Max Power is in the same boat as Steele and the other common factor is that they both made quick work out of Matthew Jones. Ever since he lost his fight to the #1 contender McGinnis Power picked up his winning ways where he left off. He is looking to shut down the boxing of Steele and get the tap early in this one. My Prediction: Powers wins by 1st round submission --------------------------------------- 4th Fight - Division: 205lbs Boris Klein v Sao Galileo --------------------------------------- This might be in the middle of the card, but we enter the light heavyweight division. A division that has a very stacked pool of talent and these two fighters are exactly what we mean by it. Boris Klein is on a bit of a skid as of late, but the Belize born fighter has proven in the past that odds do not mean a thing and when he brings his best game he is one of the best in the division. His Opponent Sao Galileo is a young phenom who made his DFC Las vegas debut in an impressive win and carried a 3-0 record into the fight. The Samoan possesses skills in all forms and is very hard to figure out how he is going to put you away says most of his opponents. Although, I must saying Sao does have a special talent for knocking people out. My prediction: Winner by 2nd Round KO Sao Galileo --------------------------------------- 5th Fight - Division: 145lbs Chris Nooles v John Nordquist --------------------------------------- Chris Nooles comes into the fight on a nice 2 fight win streak including a highlight reel superman punch on Raylan Steele that earned him knockout of the night honors. Nooles his absolutely talent and looking to add another win to his streak if he is focused. Sources reported his manager leaving a very angry message about Nooles not being booked for any upcoming fights where own Jay Van Clief had to correct his politely by saying that Nooles is fighting in 5 days and the fight has been booked for weeks. We just hope Nooles and his manager are on the same page as it could spell disaster. Nordquist made a statement in his first ever pro fight by winning the fight via TKO literally by 3 seconds. He swung with everything he had to make sure the fight did not go into the judges hand and that my friends is called a very smart and determined fighter. This one is going to come down to the wire I believe and I have to go with my gut in this prediction. My Prediction: Nordquist wins via 3rd Round submission. --------------------------------------- 6th Fight - Division: 170lbs Will Markel v Masa Sanada --------------------------------------- Now we have some welterweight action on our plates. We have two men making their debut and not much go on to get a look into what to expect. What we do know if Markel just picked up the sport fresh and to be honest I feel took this fight prematurely and we may indeed see a massacre on our hands. Masa Sanada is making his debut, but has been training for quiet some time and has a very strong Muay Thai background. I sense Masa is going to unleash a bunch of clinch strikes in this one and just dominate early. My Prediction: Masa Sanada wins easily in the 1st round. --------------------------------------- 7th Fight - Division: 155lbs Bobby Palentine v Will Rock --------------------------------------- Despite one guy having 7 previosu fights and the other guy have 3 fights this fight is one of the most even matched fights on the card. Honestly, I am not sure where to begin or who to even predict at the end of this one. I feel if I list both mens expertise and all the accolades it would honestly cancel each other out. What I will say is if Marat Magomedov is in the TWGC tournament for an extended perioud of time and an interim title match is booked the winner of this fight right here is all, but guarenteed that opportunity. My Prediction: Winner by unanimous Decision Will Rock --------------------------------------- 8th Fight - Division: 155lbs Hundo Varga v John Wayne Gracy --------------------------------------- We keep it in the red hot lightweight division here between varga and Gracy. Varga has high confidence in his skills and in his abilities. His fights though as of late has ended in 2 straight losses and he has lossed his last 3 out of 4. A win here could justify the confidence Varga has in himself after he started his career 3-0. Gracy comes into the fight at 2-1 after a quick loss to top contender Koh Ibu which ended in a record 18 seconds. Most would think Gracy would have the upper hand in this one, but I do not know if his confidence is back to where it was after his last loss. My Prediction: Hundo Varga wins by 2nd round TKO. --------------------------------------- Co-Main Even Fight - Division: 145lbs Tomas Lindberg v Granat Xhaka --------------------------------------- When you talk about highlight reels in MMA. When you talk about if DFC comes out with best fights in company history it is guarenteed that these two men would be on it for sure. Just pick any fight they have ever been in and all are worthy. Tomas Lindberg is the former Featherweight Champion and the man he beat to win that title is none other than his opponent right here Granat Xhaka. Tomas also has 2 Fight Of Night and 2 Knockout of the Night awards to his 6-2 resume. His only 2 losses came down to decisions made by the judges. Tomas is hungry and looking to go on a mission to reclaim what he feels he never actually lost and that is the Featherweight title. In case we forgot the last time these 2 fought for the Featherweight title Xhaka earned himself the nickname "Chin", because Linberg hit Xhaka with 96 head punches and not to mention 46 body shots while standing in their boxing stance. If you want to add more figure that Lindberg also hit 24 head punches and 14 body punches in the clinch. To say that Xhaka took a 5 round beating like an Everlast punching bag is no understatement. Xhaka mind you only hit Lindberg a total of 9 times. So if your a mathematician your probably thinking we are insane by booking this rematch. If you are a fight fan though you were so amazed by the striking and punishment and the threshold of pain that you are praying you see it again. My Prediction: Fortunately I do see a striking clinic ahead of us. Unfortunately it is not going to last long as Lindberg puts this away with a KO in the 1st round. --------------------------------------- Main Even Fight - Division: 185lbs Samwell Lance v BJ Penn --------------------------------------- How do you top an epic rematch to make a solid main event? You add in two equally matched cage veterans with one of them being the former Middleweight champion. Samwell Lance has lost 2 fight in a row including his title loss to current reigning champion Hannibal Rose. Samwell is one of the greatest to step into the cage and I firmly believe he can achieve his top form again as before he came to the DFC he was 9-1. He has amazing Muay Thai and wrestling skills with an adequate understanding of Jiu Jitsu. BJ Penn was a 5-0 QFC prodigy before turning to Bravado where he only won 2 out of 5 of his fights. He wanted a break a decided to go back and test himself in another QFC fight in which he won. His DFC Las Vegas debut though was a disappointing one as "The Prodigy" lost in only 56 seconds by TKO strikes. As much as these two veterans excite me with their accomplishments I do not see this fight going very far with into the 5 scheduled rounds. My Prediction: Samwell Lance TKO strikes in the 1st round for the win. --------------------------------------- Thank you again everyone and enjoy! ---------------------------------------
  2. --------------------------------------- Please keep in mind this preview is going to be posted before the official results of DFC 50. Some of those fights on that card may effect the fights on the card and visa versa. Any way enough of the foreshadowing about the sure fire historic night that is going to take place on February 10th we are on to the next night's action with DFC Fight Night coming to you live from The Palmtree. We have a pretty solid card here mixed with veterans, former champions, newcomers, and future title contenders. So let's run through the card and get some more insight on what is to come this Saturday Night. --------------------------------------- Opening Fight - Division: 170lbs John Johnson v Peter House --------------------------------------- This has to be one of the best opening fights to kick off a show right here between two fighters who can find themselves at the top of the Welterweight mountain depending on how DFC 50 turns out. Either way this fight turns out both individuals I am sure of it has a very bright future here. John Johnson comes into this his 5th fight in the DFC with a strong record of 3-1 with some good names added to his resume of victories. He has a very strong stand up game and if House wants to not only survive this fight, but win he must avoid extended periods of time exchanging shots with Johnson. House is a TWGC Welterweight champion and has a title for each shoulder. He was not shy in bringing them with him to his debut DFC fight as he easily went on to choke out Jon Kim via Triangle. As I see it Johnson also has the stronger of the wrestling background which will help if done right in keeping this fight on the feet and avoid being on his back against House which would end very badly. My Prediction: Winner by 2nd Round TKO John Johnson --------------------------------------- 2nd Fight - Division: 145lbs Rad Dood v Napoleon Bonaparte --------------------------------------- We have two young fighters trying to make their mark here in this fight. Rad Dood comes in with a 1-1 record with both fights going into the judges hands. Dood I am sure if going to want to end that streak and also get on the positive side of the win percentage as well in this fight. I would have to say he has a good chance at doing both as I feel he is the better all around fight with a slight disadvantage in his Muay Thai game, but to me that is not enough to go against him in this one. Bonaparte is coming into DFC making his debut and holds a 1-0 record with a QFC victory that ended in decision. That victory by the way came against a guy with about 15 more fights in experience then him and in this game experience does play a factor to a degree especially when going against someone in there first fight. Bonaparte showed composure and resiliency to get the job done. He was poised and caollected throughout the entire fight. My Prediction: As much as I love seeing the debut guys come in and get that first taste of DFC victory I have to go with Johnson by 3rd Round TKO. --------------------------------------- 3rd Fight - Division: 185lbs Wally Hewitt v Delled Armstrong --------------------------------------- This is a fight of two journeymen trying to find a solid home where they can find success right here. Both top level grapplers who excel in the ground game and avoid standing up like it is the black plague. Hewitt comes into this fight with a 3 fight losing streak that he is trying to see come to an end. He had a promising start to his career in his QFC days by winning 4 fights in a row and looked to be a blue chip prospect. Since then Wally is on his 3rd manager and 3rd professional organization. We are noticing a bunch of 3s on the board here for poor Wally, but most of his fights end early on. Armstrong tested his career in a professional organization at first with a loss then a win in a grudge rematch. After that he won in a new organation before his manager decided to let him cultivate more in QFC which is a little unorthodox and might have attributed to the back to back losses he is coming off of. My Prediction: I think Wally's time is done and I do not see the same prospect in him as when he was starting out. I'm going with Armstrong on this one by 1st Round submission. --------------------------------------- 4th Fight - Division: 135lbs Johnny Yocum v Johnny Jacobi --------------------------------------- The battle of the Johnnys as I have cleverly coined it. Yocum is a veteran here in DFC with 9 out his 10 fights being in our very own cage and is a very well rounded fighter. He recently ended a 3 fight losing streak by bludgeoning Sam Keene with strikes that forced the TKO stoppage with only 1:17 into the 1st round. Jacobi is also no stranger to our cage and our fans with his 6 out of 7 fights. Jacobi who once was looked at as a potential title challenger has hit a few bumps along the way including a current 2 fight win streak. He is looking to show off his brown belt Jiu Jitsu skills if given the opportunity in this fight and end that skid. So in ending we have Yokum who just put to sleep and losing streak and Jacobi who is trying to put his very own losing streak to end. One of these men is leaving heartbroken though. My Prediction: I see Jacobi gutting this one out late in the fight 3rd round submission. --------------------------------------- 5th Fight - Division: 135lbs Tom Collins v Flash Runner --------------------------------------- This is a very interesting fight to call when you really look at it. On paper you see Runner who is undefeated at 2-0. He made his debut in DFC and has made some loud statements with his quick submission victories. Both victories as well coming against veterans with tons of experience between the two. Runner in my opinion is skilled beyond his years and if his manager keeps increasing the formula for success Runner will quickly become a household name not just in DFC, but around the world. Tom Collins is set to make his DFC debut after a loss in his first QFC tournament fight. Here is the thing I was speaking about though records, opponents, and everything written on paper points to Runner with dominance. If you take a closer look though at the fights and the training footage you see a very sharp and very dangerous Tom Collins. What he does not have in wrestling or Jiu Jitsu he makes up for it with very skillful boxing and Muay Thai. Hand power and speed that could possibly end this fight very soon if Runner does not live up to his namesake and be really quick on the feet. My Prediction: I think Runner is going to evade the punching power of Collins and drag him down to triangl city by 2nd Round Submission. --------------------------------------- 6th Fight - Division: 265lbs Joseph Duffy v Denis Cutesic --------------------------------------- In a battle of the big guys Duffy comes into this fight riding a 3 fight losing streak since he has landed in the DFC. Duffy came in as a promising contender and someone many thought would be taking on Shreve Jr sooner rather than later when he initially signed the contract. Fast forward about 4 months later and we see a fighter who might be hanging it up if another loss takes place. Cutesic tested the waters 3 times in the QFC before signing his first official contract here in DFC and is looking to seize the win over Duffy. Cutesic has strong boxing and wrestling in his background which could make a perfect recipe for some ground and pound action. This fight though is matched up evenly skill wise and is so close to call. My Prediction: Winner by Unanimous Decision Denis Cutesic --------------------------------------- 7th Fight - Division: 155lbs Lean Lang v Marcin Hold --------------------------------------- This is going to be a very entertaining fight right here when you have Muay Thai specialist Lean Lang going against worl famous black belt and probably the best Jiu Jitsu practioner on the roster. Lang started off with a very promising future going 5-0 in QFC fights under his previous manager. A change in management and camps led his to our DFC doors and since then it's really been a mixed bag as he stands 2-2 in the DFC. "The Polish Prodigy" since landing in the DFC has made quite a name for himself. He is 5-1 with his only loss being a razor sharp decision loss to Nathan Frost. They say never put it in the hands of the judges and in this case amny believe Marcin should still be undefeated. Nevertheless the Polish Submission Machine is looking to add to another submission of the night or even perhaps fight of the night and stake claim that he should be next in line for a crack at the Lightweight title. My Prediction: Winner by 2nd Round submission Marcin Hold --------------------------------------- Co-Main Event Fight - Division: 155lbs Hugh Jaskok v Koh Ibu --------------------------------------- The former champion who used to be known as "The mouth that runs the house" Hugh Jaskok has been fairly quiet since he lost the title to then champion Gil Jacobson in a violent beatdown. Since then it's been a mized bag for Jaskok who is trying to avenge a previous loss against Ibu that ended by decision and a fight of the night honor. Since then Jaskok has improved his striking and wait for it more sumissions. Koh Ibu the undefeated Japaense phenom burst on to the scene with 4 wins over top contenders, a fight of the night honor, and a ko of the night honor. Not bad for a guy who just pretty much walked through the doors 4 months ago. Ibu is looking to shut Jaskok's mouth up by knockout this time around and not let it go to the judges. There is bad blood between these two and it is sure to end here if Ibu wins again. My Prediction: I believe this fight will be much more of the same action which was actually really good Koh Ibu wins by Unanimous Decision --------------------------------------- Main Event Fight - Division: 265lbs Gary Jackson v Carl Sands --------------------------------------- This is a fight that holds title implications as I believe the winner of this one could be up next to challenge Shreve Jr for the Heavyweight title. Jackson comes into the fight a slight favorite with a perfect 4-0 record. He recently has switched managers which believe it or not can either make or break a fight in his career. Jackson is very heavy handed with a natural knockout power he is looking to utlize in this one against Sands. The funny thing about Jackson is though is he is actually even better on the ground between his wrestling and being a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu. I mean if it works on the feet sure, but don't be surprised if you see these two men doing some work on the ground in this one. Sands comes into this fight 4-1 with his only loss being a knockout by the hand of title contender Samwell Tarly in what was sands' 2nd fight ever. He has matured as a fighter sincer then and has added not only to his stand up game, but also in his ground game. We are looking at a Carl Sands who is on a quest to be a complete fighter and a threat in the heavyweight rankings. The Jiu Jitsu practioner and fan in me wants to see these two behemoths show off their jits and get in some good rolling with fluidity. Either way standing or on the canvas I think with this main event we are in for a real treat that will not disappoint. My Prediction: Carl Sands wins by 2nd Round TKO --------------------------------------- There we have it DFC Las Vegas a little break down of the fight night card on February 11th. Hope you enjoyed the preview and looking forward to this weekend of DFC Las vegas fights. Until next time my friend. ---------------------------------------
  3. --------------------------------------- We are only 72 hours away from the biggest card in DFC Las Vegas History. A card that is stacked from action top to bottom and not to mention it, but every single title is going to be on the line. One of those fights is the long awaited and hyped title fight for the vacant 155 strap between two young and undefeated phenoms Jackie Lee V and Marat Magomedov. There has been much grumbling backstage about the future of DFC Las Vegas and the future from the bottom up. One thing is for certain we are not going anywhere that much is promised. As far as out partnership with DFC St. Petersburg let's be honest they never really lent us a hand and this organization has been a well oiled machine that has been virtually running on its own from the beginning. Will the name be changed quite possibly, but until now our main focus is bringing you the best fights with the most entertainment. So let's start from our opener and go through the entire card that will end with the main even for the 170 title. --------------------------------------- Opening Fight - Division: 185lbs Kyle Dunc v Carlos Sanchez --------------------------------------- This is a fight of two experience competitors trying to break ground and start a streak of hopeful wins. Dunc the purple belt Jiu Jitsu practitioner is hoping to end a 2 fight losing skid here by ultimately take this fight to the ground and ending it with a submission. From talking to his coaches they feel strongly that is Kyle can drag Carlos to the ground that they will get him to tap which coincidentally his wins have either come from knockout or submission. On the other side of the cage we have Carlos Sanchez he is the type of fighter fans who want to see a slug fest come out to see. He is not afraid to bang it out with anybody and has a ton of heart in my opinion. He lost one fight back in his QFC days, but as I view it fights in the QFC are much on the same rank as amateur bouts where it is an org to try out your skills and get that experience. His other loss was to the current 185lbs champ. My Prediction: I like Carlos here to knockout Kyle Dunc fast and early in the 1st round. --------------------------------------- 2nd Fight - Division: 145lbs Stefan Struwe v Dom Cruz --------------------------------------- Two men with two impressive records that with a win here could put them in mention for a title shot down the line. Struwe has a good record coming into this fight, but if you looking closely he is only 3-2 in his DFC career. Granted both losses were to 2 perennial title challengers. Struwe is known for his elite punching ability and serious Muay Thai skills and will look to utilizing them in this fight. Dom Cruz only loss of his career was two a great fighter in David Dickinson. Other than that small blemish Cruz has been dismantling anyone who has opposed him in the cage. He is still young in his career, but every fight you can see the potential and the skill growing. His wins have primarily came from submission, but his stand up game is also something you cannot ignore either if your Struwe. My Prediction: Dom Cruz takes home the win with a 2nd round submission and possibly submission of the night. --------------------------------------- 3rd Fight - Division: 135lbs Monday Blues v Clinton Hall --------------------------------------- The fight between a depressing name and the other guy who sounds like a newly opened wing in the White House. All jokes aside this bantamweight fight is a real treat and sets up the slew of title matches to follow. Both men are on a real run for the title here as well and I'm sure it is going to be hard to deny the winner of this one the next man up for the title. This is a rematch that the fans wanted to see in a sport where you seldom see title rematches let alone just a grudge match. Blues the Vatican City born fighter is a consistent storm in all aspects of his game with a primary focus in Muay Thai. Blues felt that the judges got the fight wrong in his loss to hall via unanimous decision and vows that this fight will not go to the score cards this time around. He is coming into this fight with the mentality of being coming home with his shield or on it. "The Prospect Hunter" Clinton Hall what is there not to love about this guy? He is the fan favorite and he has done that with not being afraid to fight anyone and also living up to his nickname. Cardio will not factor against him as the vast majority of his fights have gone to the judges. My Prediction: I have a feeling that although this will be a good fight in the end that the rematch will turn out much like the first meeting. Clinton Hall takes this via Unanimous Decision. --------------------------------------- 4th Fight - Division: 145lbs Title Fight Benjamin Tay v Johnny Vargas --------------------------------------- We kick off our first title fight of many to come right here in the featherweight division. Benjamin Tay the challenger after making several attempts in the Lightweight Division decided to weight cut down and it has paid off for him. He not only is on a 2 fight win streak in his new home division, but if you take a closer look is actually undefeated in the featherweight division dating back to his QFC days. It is safe to say that Tay is a human submission machine and will have you tapping in a various number of ways. He is literally like watching a Gracie-Barra seminar. After a rematch against division rival Anthony Clark he won his title back and is planning on keeping it that way. Vargas comes into this fight off of those back to back fights that both have gone to the judges' scorecard. Vargas is the polar opposite to Tay and will like to keep this fight standing and either look for the KO or more probable the stoppage. My Prediction: And NEW Featherweight Champion Benjamin Tay via 2nd Round submission --------------------------------------- 5th Fight - Division: 135lbs Title Fight Maxi Smut v Andre Hendrix --------------------------------------- This is David versus Goliath right here fans! Smut easily the tallest guy in the division for this company, but quite possibly around the world has a 10 inch height advantage which correlates to a big reach advantage in this one. The thing about that though is Smut is not much of a boxer and prefers to be in the clinch and use his wrestling as well. Not sure how the tactic will work, but it has so far to bring him to the spot where he is at now fighting for a title and winning all of his fight by KO which makes my opinion honestly go down the toilet. Hendrix is a submission expert and will want to see if he can find an opening to bring this one to the ground work his transitions and set up a big submission finish. Honestly this is the only way I see Hendrix retaining the title as I firmly believe the reaching and pure striking ability of Smut will put that title around his waist. My Prediction: And NEW Bantamweight Champion Maxi Smut via 1st Round TKO --------------------------------------- 6th Fight - Division: 205lbs Title Fight Asmund Sykk v Alexander Pauwels --------------------------------------- Both men have put together a strong resume and a case of why they will walk out the champion. The challenger Asmun Sykk proved and quite possibly shocked the DFC fan base with a stunning victory over the monster that is Bryan Mayhem. He went the distance and proved to the world why he belongs here in this title fight on this epic card. Sykk only career loss came in his QFC days in the final round in a tournament on little to no rest between. Is Sykk ready to take the thrown and end this the way he wants by knockout? Which bring us to our champion Alexander Pauwels. Pauwels as you remember made short work of the hot knockout prospect and then champion Clinton Smaxsons. Literally making the former champion look like a first fight amateur with his poise and precision striking. Pauwels only loss came against a familiar name Bryan Mayhem. Pauwels stated though that he was a different fight back then and trained very hard after that first taste of defeat and in his championship win proved that all that hard work paid off and big time. My Prediction: And STILL Light Heavyweight Champion Alexander Pauwels. --------------------------------------- 7th Fight - Division: 185lbs Title Fight Jan Paul Valens v Hannibal Rose --------------------------------------- A middleweight fight against honestly to even competitors and both putting undefeated records on the line. Only one will walk home with the title and that win streak intact. Let's look at this fight very closely to see who we think may come out the victor. Valens comes into this fight 19 inches shorter than his opponent. We put a big empathize today and reach all of the time, but I'm not sure here it is going to be much of a factor as Valens has sensational footwork and knows how to hit his angles. Valens is a jack of all trades when it comes to the cage and in my opinion can finish the fight from any position. He has been demanding a title shot with DFC and he finally got one. Let's see how he does with it. Hannibal Rose loves knocking people especially top contenders out. He is still young in his career, but when it comes to being a knockout artist he is the Claude Monet of the MMA world. Just like Valens though Rose even as a specialist standing up is also pretty crafty with his Muay Thai, Wrestling, and holds a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu. This one is going to be a very tough fight to and I hope this does not go to the judges as on paper this fight is a razor thin line. My Prediction: And STILL Middleweight Champion Hannibal Rose via 3rd Round TKO --------------------------------------- 8th Fight - Division: 155lbs Title Fight Jackie Lee V v Marat Magomedov --------------------------------------- This is a fight that since the lightweight title was vacated by Gil Jacobson fans have been wanting to see. It honestly has all the making to be one of the greatest fights of all time within the DFC. Both men had extended training camps just to be in full preparation for this moment. Jackie "Bad Man" Lee V is not only a scary individual outside of the cage, but inside it is even more terrifying. He has been the quiet storm brewing waiting for this very moment and add another knockout to his list. We haven't been able to even speak with him or his camp coming into this one as all practices and sparring has been closed to the public. What version of Jackie Lee will we see come Friday night? I do not know, but if his past fight are any indication of what he is going to add on to for this one my oh my someone is not leaving here without injury. Now we turn to "The Beast" straight out of Russia. He is built like a T-34 and fire rapid fire precision shots like an AK-47. He carved out a great Sambo career and grew up in a poor family in a harsh landscape environment. It is almost like Magomedov was born and bred for war. He lives and strives in moments on chaos and is like the center of a tornado calm, but ready to unleash one hell of a fury when it is time to let it go. This fight I will promise you will not disappoint as Marat even said to reporters when this match was signed,"Why you take this fight? you must know you can not win. There is three week to go, you can still pull out with injury." If that is any indication of how badly these two want to dismantle each other I do not know what is. My Prediction: And NEW Lightweight Champion Marat Magomedov via 2nd round TKO --------------------------------------- Co-Main Event - Division: 265lbs Title Fight Tarn Erdesktrok v Larry Shreve Jr --------------------------------------- A battle of the big men as we have a young up and comer who possesses the power of Thor's hammer in his fist versus a champion who has held on to his title for the past 5 months which in this company is quite a feat and is just shy of the mark set by the current Welterweight Champion Ira Wright. Tarn only 3 professional fights all of which in DFC and all of them ending abruptly with his fists in the first round. His game plan is pretty simple he just plans on putting the champion to sleep fast and quick. He told us at DFC Las Vegas that he plans on testing Larry's chin as he feels it has never been properly tested and he has never been hit as hard and as skillful by someone of his striking prowess. Larry is also no stranger to fights ending quick and by his fists. He scoffed at the idea of his chin never been testing and cited that he has a whole highlight reel of fights that can serve as a testament to this. At only age 21 Larry is now on his 12th career fight and does not plan on retiring young or giving up the title any time soon. My Prediction: And STILL Heavyweight Champion Larry Shreve Jr by 2nd Round TKO --------------------------------------- Main Event - Division: 170lbs Title Fight Manny Pacquiao v Ira Wright --------------------------------------- The biggest question being asked around the company is can Ira Wright be beaten? The only time that has ever happened was against our friends turned rivals DFC St. Petersburg when he lost by a razor thin decision. No other top contender no matter how promising has been able to stop him. It has even prompted DFC Las Vegas Owner Jay Van Clief and General Manager Ryan West to go on the road scouting fighters from other companies and the free agent pool to find someone to challenge Wright. Many are afraid Wright will test free agency after this final fight on his contract to compete elsewhere. If that becomes the came we wish Ira the ebst and with heavy hearts we will have to let the most dominant champion in DFC Las Vegas history ride into the sunset. Ira since winning the title has had 3 successful defenses one of them being a 31 second TKO of top contender Andrey Lobtov. Now we have a man who has embraced the underdog role Manny Pacquiao. At first glance we see a slightly above average record, but looking further we see a fighter who has earned himself $10,000 worth of bonuses between fight of the nights and KO of The Nights. This will be his first fight under new manager Keelan Dolan. The decision to switch camps before a big title fight is going to either be the beginning of a quick end or make Pacquiao look like an absolute genius. He does have KO power and has traveled to several different organizations testing his skill. We will see if the world traveling experience and the switch in training camp will either be the biggest upset in DFC history or another highlight reel victory for Ira Wright. My Prediction: And STILL Welterweight Champion Ira Wright via 1st Round KO. --------------------------------------- Conclusion I hope you enjoyed the preview for our biggest event in our young company's history. We had another writer quite on us due to real life obligations coming up which is always sad to see a team member go, but completely understood as this is just a game and done for fun. As always if anyone is wishing to make some extra money and write for DFC Las Vegas or know someone who is please have them message me or our General Manager Ryan West for details. Until then I will be trying my hardest to do some write ups, but please bare with me on how often I can and the quality of the work. Thank you all as always your work and dedication here is always appreciated. ---------------------------------------

  5. good work as always my friend. i sent you a PM about payment. Thats quality work right there especially like the one with the black and white NYC background.
  6. Id definitely like to try it out, but also have it with different divisions. Not a big fan of open weight. If you do give it a go please let me know.
  7. In regards to my custom request i was thinking something along the lines of this image of TJ Dillashaw with the american flag maybe add New York City skyline as a background if it is not too much trouble. http://imgur.com/a/TVjWV Thank you very much in advance
  8. Hey Freeway are you taking on an requests at the moment?
  9. Very well written good job my friend bravo
  10. Already been done 18 yrs old 265+ KT in vegas...cough looks down at signature...cough
  11. Yes Jay Tycoon has good work, but he already made the MMA Gladiators logo with the fire behind it as well. I don't want DFC LV being compared to any other org or anyone saying we are copying so I cam up with our own. I went with the blue and added a smoke effect to it. I hope everyone likes it.
  12. Are you taking requests for a TJ Dillashaw inspired one?
  13. Every manager on the DFC LV roster is very easy going and supportive. I've been there from the beginning as as a manager and eventually to own it with the ever faithful support of everyone. Thanks you everyone at DFC LV you're all awesome people and blessed to have every single person with me on this journey.
