Rambo
I think this would be a good feature if done properly. Not entirely sure if this could be done under this engine or not but if there was a way to click a button and it auto-sim'd a fight right on the spot, this idea could work and give noobs something to look forward to. I think you'd have to limit the TOTT without revealing the 3rd line so you didn't reveal hiddens in these fights to prevent vets from abusing it. Also have to not lose confidence after a loss in amateur fights, because again, vets would use these to test it. And am. fights wouldn't impact hype/pop or manager wins/loss historic record. Allow newly created fighters the opportunity for Amateur fights. It'd be fights with AI that occur immediately after you click "accept fight". They'd get a message or pop up that says "This is your opponent, make sure you set sliders before accepting fight" and a reminder. Anywhere from 2 - 5 fights, or a max of 2 - 5 wins. With a limit of 1 per day. Give the managers a list of 1-10 (?) fighters (randomly generated names - could be based on location, i.e. Russian names in St. Pete, Finnish names in Helsinki, Japanese names in Tokyo, etc.) with the same bio's/descriptions next to them. You could even add difficult level (based on fighters total skill points) next to em. i.e. John Smith: A southern boy and a competitive highschool wrestler who likes to come in aggressive and slam him opponent to the mat as quick as possible. While he's good at taking his opponents down, he does't like getting hit in the face and he doesn't offer much else to his game when he gets them there. Woody Johnson: A cocky street fighter who comes in swinging for the fences. He's tough but he lacks technique and gasses quickly. Dwayne Allen: He loves flashy kicks and bright lights. He spends as much time on instagram as he does in improving the rest of his game. The "John Smith" proto-type would have a pre-set slider strategy and skill-set and hiddens. He'd have a pretty weak chin but his slider strat, based off the bio I wrote, would be 80% aggro 100% takedowns. 100% one dimensional. The "Woody Johnson" proto-type would be a brawler/puncher with a good chin and bad cardio. "Allen" would be 90% kicks and whatever else sliders you set him, and his highest hidden would be confidence. Could make a "Very Hard" difficult am. fighter with a "he has a background in mixed martial arts, he's a master of none but a practitioner of all" or some shit and that'd be somebody who mixes it up. I created this in 2 minutes tops lol, so if you sat down for 20 minutes and put some thought into it, or asked the community to come up with bio's and pre-set sliders and hiddens, Mike wouldn't even have to do any of the work outside of the coding to implement it. This would allow newly created fighters (benefits noobs and new users the most) the chance to fight on signing day. If you were really worried about the community/vets abusing this by setting certain stats or sliders in am. fights in an attempt to reveal their fighter hiddens, like knowing a pre-set guy has high aggro/damage and heavy hands, and intentionally seeing how many times their guy can take punches to the face before getting rocked, you could limit this feature to newly created managers or managers in their first month or two of activity. put some thought into it. would be a great feature to implement for the noobs.
Rambo
bump. great for noobs and noob fighters for instant-satisfaction. tough for new account, new user, "hey thanks for joining our fighting game, check back in 2-3 days." or sometimes longer depending on what city they enter a QFC in. give em something on day 1. 1
JHL
I would love to see this. For amateur fights you wouldn't even necessarily need an in depth record- it could just say "Amateur MMA Record: 4-2" on a fighters profile. I also think they shouldn't add any hype, but maybe a small popularity boost per win would be good (a very small one though).

Yodron
I love the idea that there is another tier to this game potentially. Amateurs could / should be kept to an age limit Amateur bouts should cost energy, give little to no hype, and not display the 3rd line on TOTT Amateur bouts pay no fees QFC is what it is : No age limit only ability cost energy, increases hype, displays TOTT3 Pays Org is Pro init Once a fighter has fought anything other than Amateur they cannot re enter. I posted something similar to this the in another thread. Would love another tier but my god would it be daunting and the backlash is the asking for more fighter slots again lol

Basically "welcome to the game" fights for noobs.
Gerardan
As a noob I can say this is a great idea. If it weren't too big a deal, a tutorial that lines up with the already established new user guide would also rock. It can be a fun way to win those little $50 nuggets we already get hitting the milestones in the guide.
GBK16
Could have increasing levels of AI difficulty and they can fight each level up to 5 times or so. Each time they get a cash reward for winning the fight. Or instead of AI difficulty, or potentially combine it with another idea, of each level having increasing skill points on both fighters so they get a feel for how sliders adjust as they go up. Regardless, an idea that would dramatically improve the new user experience
