Galaxy 1: The Big Bang!

Here we go! The official Galaxy FC Premiere is on! From The Underground – London, sponsored by Heroic Combat Gear, this is the debut of a great enterprise and I hope you all can enjoy it!

Reginald Francis Colon vs Terry Picket

A battle of two young bantamweights. Francis Colon is a well rounded fighter while Picket is a grappler with a BJJ purple belt. Both guys have never won in the MMA Tycoon so what should they do? Francis Colon has to keep the fight standing and picket has to drag it to the floor. On big obstacle for Colon is that Picket is 25 cm taller than him. Will that be a problem? Let’s find out!

Doug ‘’The Glaswegian Nightmare’’ McDonald vs Keiji Kawada

McDonald is a well rounded fighter with 1 loss in his career. He is going to face Kawada, a grappler making his first appearance in the ring. As the first fight, McDonald has to keep the fight standing while Kawada must drag it to the mat. Who will get his first victory and be one step close to the featherweight title fight?

‘’Iron Fist’’ Gabriel Odonnell vs Top Gun

Now we have a tradicional dispute between Aussies vs Poms in the Light Heavyweight division. Odonnell defending the pride of UK is a striker with a record of 1 victory and 3 losses. Gun is an aussie holding a negative record. Both fighters are better strikers but something tells me it will be a ground battle!

Bryce ‘’Lucky Limes’’ ODonnell vs Grigorio ‘’I Came’’ Escobar

For the lightweight division we have one of the most even fights of the night! ODonnell has an average striking skills and good wrestling while Escobar has a good striking skill and an average ground game. He is also a 225 cm Lightweight anorexic fighter. They both have a slightly advantage on their fields but it can mean nothing.

‘’The Hood Rat’’ Hoodie Ratty vs Kamil Burczynski

Our second Lightweight bout of the night. This fight is also very equal. Both have average skills in Boxing, Muay Thai and wrestling and both hold a brown belt in BJJ. This is going to be a grappling war! Rat has submitted his 2 fights while Burczynski is debuting in the MMA so the experience factor might be the differential here. The winner will probably get a title shot!

Marcus ‘’Hammer’’ Hanson vs Adolf Jakobsen

For the welterwheight division we have a Viking clash! From Finland, Hanson is a Muay Thai fighter with a victory in his cartel. Jakobsen in from Norway and is a grappling debuting in the MMA. Hanson has to keep the fight standing at all costs because as soon as it hits the ground it should be a quick and painless victory for the Norwegian. Who will honor their past?

‘’Speedy’’ Owen Glyde vs Rajesh Nahasemapetilon

A Rajesh fighting in an event called ‘’The Big Bang’’. How cool is that? It’s like the matchmaker did that on purpose! In this Light heavyweight bout we have Glyde, a boxer and a BJJ fighter. In the other corner we have our ‘’The Big Bang Theory’’ friendly homonymous holding a negative record with only 3 victories out of 9. Rajesh has the edge on the stand up but Glyde is more versatile and can easily finish the fight if it goes to the ground.

Roene Dekker vs ‘’Bouty Hunter’’ Jaques Du Coudray

This is a heavyweight contender fight! In one side we have Dekker holding a record of 5-1. He an excellent boxer and have good skills in wrestling. In the other side we have Du Coudray, a well rounded fighter. Dekker has the better stand up but Du Coudray has the edge in the ground. This will be an interesting fight with the takedown and takedown defense been the key to the victory here.

Chris ‘’Wonderboy’’ Van De Kamp vs ‘’Your Fantanasy’’ Zack Fantana

In the co-main event of the evening we have a bantamweight title contender between the ‘’Wonderboy’’ versus the ‘’Fantanasy’’. Van de Kamp is a grappler holding a cartel of 2 victories both by kimura. Fantana is a Muay Thai fighter with a record of 2 victories of 5. There are rumors on the backstage saying Van De Kamp called his third victory in a roll by kimura. Will Fantana let that happened or he will knock his opponent? You can miss that!

Jake Rosholt vs Ivan Drakkar

In the main event we have another title contender fight. This time for the middleweight division. Rosholt is a wrestler holding a professional record of 9-7. Drakkar is a Muay Thai fighter but also pretty average in the other areas. He holds a record of 9-6. Drakkar has the power to knock out Rosholt. If the fight goes to the ground, Rosholt can ground ‘n’ pound his way to the victory and a shot for the title. What’s your bet?

That’s it, guys! I didn’t have much time to write it. It’s short and simple but I think this should do it. Hopefully we are gonna get a sold out event with decent ratings. Once again, thanks to all of you that make it happen. I’m going to post it in the Tycoon Times and maybe get some extra hype for all of us. And don’t forget to thank our sponsor :)

See ya.

Galaxy 1: The Big Bang! Review!

Wow, the fans are delighted by a great presentation in the Galaxy FC Premiere. This first event was sold out! All 1000 sits were taken by screaming and bloodthirsty fans and the fighters didn’t disappoint. Only 3 fights went for decision and were great. But the night was gifted by huge submissions! At least 3 of them could easily win a sub of the night in other event. But let’s not ramble. Here is the official Galaxy 1: The Big Bang! review!

Reginald Francis Colon vs Terry Picket

This was a clinch fighter. The first time Picket managed to drag the fight to the ground but due to inactiveness the referee stands them up. The second time Francis Colon punched, kneed and elbowed until he land a lethal elbow dropping his opponent down and a few more strikes it was all over. A TKO victory in less than 2 minutes. This guy will go far!

Doug ‘’The Glaswegian Nightmare’’ McDonald vs Keiji Kawada

Here Kawada was no match for McDonald. 17 takedown attempts and none were successful! McDonald, on the other hand, almost landed all his 70 strikes! I don’t how Kawada last that much! At the end of the second round after rocking Kawada, McDonald knocked down his opponent not once but twice, allowing him to back up to have some more! With only 4 seconds to the end of the second round, Kawada didn’t survive another head kick and was knocked out. What a great victory! McDonald was presented with the KO of the night and also will receive a shot for the Featherweight title!

‘’Iron Fist’’ Gabriel Odonnell vs Top Gun

The first decision of the night was a bit crazy. Gun was the better fighter but he had a crazy gameplan. He clinches, he breaks clinch. He gets a takedown, he gets up. What’s up with that? Even with such nonsense strategy he was better the entire fight, wherever it was, he had the advantage and got a 30-27 Unanimous Decision. On the bright side, both guys give all they got and landed a good rating!

Bryce ‘’Lucky Limes’’ ODonnell vs Grigorio ‘’I Came’’ Escobar

This fight was great! The first round was mostly a ground fight. An early takedown by ODonnell gave him the advantage to be on top but the entire round both fighters landed awesome sweeps but no pound action. It was a very close round, could go either way. The second round was a clinch round and it was when Escobar staring showing his dominance! With lots of punched he nailed the second round! The third were a striking battle. What a variety, han? This last round, Escobar punched his way to the victory, almost knocking ODonnell with a wild overhand. It was a pretty even fight that Escobar turn into a dominant victory. Huge victory that puts him one step closer to the top.

‘’The Hood Rat’’ Hoodie Ratty vs Kamil Burczynski

This ‘’grapling war’’ were awarded as the first time ever ‘’fight of the night’’ in the history of Galaxy FC. What a war! But it wasn’t just a ground game. At the beginning of the fight, Burczynski overmatched Ratty in the stand up and when he were about to knock him out, Ratty got a surviving takedown, but the polish got a quick sweep and stayed on the the rest of the round. The second round started with an early takedown for Ratty but he used the lay and pray tactic until the referee stand up. And on the striking game, once again Burczynski were superior. In the third round Ratty again gets a takedown but just sits on top thinking about dinner and that gave the opportunity to Burczysnki get a guillotine and put his opponent to sleep! Wow, what a victory! He finished a brown belt when he was in his guard! This victory might guarantee a title fight, but let’s see how thing go.

Marcus ‘’Hammer’’ Hanson vs Adolf Jakobsen

In this welterweight bout, Jakobsen got an easy victory against Hanson. An early takedown buried any chances Hanson had in this fight. A combination of sub attempts and position advances ended in a rear naked choke. An easy and quick victory for Jakobsen. Hanson was no match.

‘’Speedy’’ Owen Glyde vs Rajesh Nahasemapetilon

Raj were the better striker and a quick punch opened a cut in Glyde’s head but the fight moved into clinch and from that moment Glyde starting showing his dominance. He landed a few punches and a couple of good knees until he dragged the fight to the ground a quickly submitted his opponent with a kimura. All that in less than a minute! Excellent finish for Glyde here. The first of many awesome subs in the night.

Roene Dekker vs ‘’Bouty Hunter’’ Jaques Du Coudray

What a battle! It was a pretty damn close fight when the fighters were on his feet but when it hits the mat, Du Coudray showed better skills and that made the difference in this bout. In the first round Du Coudray got a takedown in less than a minute and stayed active on top the entire round. The second was pretty close but when it went to the ground again, Dekker was tamed by his opponent. The last round was entirely a striking match. Although pretty close again, Dekker had time to show his true skills and gave Du Coudray a hard time be it was to late. A solid decision for Du Coudray here.

Chris ‘’Wonderboy’’ Van De Kamp vs ‘’Your Fantanasy’’ Zack Fantana

This fight displayed a classic striker vs grappling fight. The first round, Fantana clinched his opponent and landed 28 elbows in only one round! Wow, that was nasty, how Van De Kamp wasn’t cut? Does he have crocodile skin? After this massacre, the ‘’Wonderboy’’ got an early takedown, made his way to the mount and finished Fantana with an armbar! Great victory for Van De Kemp! He nailed the ‘’sub of the night’’ and a chance to become the first Galaxy FC champion. He is fighting for the bantamweight title until the of the year!

Jake Rosholt vs Ivan Drakkar

In the main event we were also supposed to watch a striker vs grappler game but Rosholt, the grappler, didn’t try a single takedown the entire fight and this poor strategy cost very much to him since his opponent score 20 head punches in the first round, nailing the coffin in the last minute with a TKO. Drakkar will be fighting for the Middleweight title soon, so keep a look on this guy cause he will knock out his opponents until he gets the belt!

And that’s it, folks. I hope you can enjoy it! The next event is still a little far but starting from the 3rd things are gonna heat up and things are gonna move a lot quicker. This event was just a little taste of the greatness that is coming to hit the Tycoon world!

See ya :)

Galaxy 2: Mayan Countdown Preview!

Welcome the official Galaxy 2: Mayan Countdown Preview! Sponsored by Heroic Combat Gear. It’s only a few days to our doom but who cares for that when you have such a great card? Stay and find out what great fights we have for this card. You won’t be disappointed!

Trefor ‘’The Tank’’ Thomas vs Sekhmakh ‘’The Macabre’’ Mubarak

The event opens up with 2 of the less hyped fighters but let’s not focus on that! Thomas has a horrible negative record with only a victory and it was by decision. Mubarak hasn’t a great card either but he finished half of his victories. Who will get out of the gutter and start a new promising carrier? Thomas with his Muay Thai or Mubarak with his average boxing and wrestling?

Marek Koltun vs Dan ‘’The Joker’’ Torres

Koltun is an excellent wrestler with an average striking. He is debuting in the MMA against Torres whose nickname can’t be more accurate when you talk about his 6-18 record! Torres has the better striking and is more experienced. He will continue to be a punch bag or he is going to man up and knock Koltun out? Don’t miss that!

Anucha Poocha vs Imperial XinZhao

This flyweight bout brings to strikers in their path to the title. Poocha is a muay thai fighter while XinZhao is a boxer. Poocha has a victory in his cartel and by TKO. XinZhao has 3 victories but all against cans. When he faced a better fighter he couldn’t delivered it! Will he change it and win the fight or Poocha will add another KO in his carrier?

Lee ‘’The Machine’’ Evans vs Pitt Bull

Both fighters are feeble in everything so that means it could go every way possible! Striking, clinching, grappling, you name it and it might happened! Evans comes to this bout with a horrible shape. If he doesn’t rest he will be an easy prey for Bull.

Marcos ‘’El Matador’’ Alejandro vs Chris ‘’Guns’’ Godley

This is the greatest grappling bout of the event. Although both fighters have negative records, both also hold a BJJ brown belt. Alejandro has the better striking though and he might want to keep the fight standing but my prediction says it will end up with a submission. Who will get that? Don’t miss it!

‘’Sergeant’’ Douglas Wilkes vs George ‘’Gorgeous’’ Davis

Now, for the light heavyweight division, we have Wilkes, a wrestler holding a professional record of 1 win. He will be facing Davis, a well rounded fighter with a win and a loss. Both of these guys are fresh faces in the Tycoon world and they are eager to show the world what they can do.

‘’Big’’ Bill Gunderson vs ‘’Bruiserbob’’ Bobby Harrison

In this middleweight bout we have to fighters with negative records. In one side we have Gunderson, a well rounded fighter with a slightly better ground game since he won by submission in all his 3 victories. In the other side we have Harrison, a boxer whose also have 3 victories but all by decision. Harrison is the underdog here and he is in terrible shape. If he doesn’t heal up, Gunderson will add another sub in his record.

Tony ‘’Ironman’’ Stark vs Pawel Konopacki

In the last undercard bout, we might see a wrestler vs BJJ fight. Stark holds a BJJ brown belt and submitted his opponents in all his 4 victories. Now, Konopacki is not only a wrestler but he has also a good striking game. It’s not his area of expertise but against a BJJ fighter you should always pay attention when you drag him to the mat. So, in the ground it is a close match but while it is standing, Pawel should be the most efficient fighter.

‘’Frankford Slasher’’ Leonard Christopher vs Nes Quick

It’s already time to our co-main event! Christopher is a boxer and holds a record of 2 wins and 1 loss. This guy looks mad and he wants a KO at all costs! In the other side of the cage we have Quick. A wrestler holding a professional record of 7 wins and 7 losses. This guy doesn’t want by any chances to get a negative record! This heavyweight clash will be awesome!

Lawrence ‘’The Gorilla’’ Adams vs Andrew ‘’Test’’ Martin

In our main event of the evening we have a Heavyweight contender fight! In the red corner we have Adams, an undefeated Boxer holding a professional record of 5 win and 4 by (T)KO! In the blue corner we have Martin, a BJJ brown belt holding an even record of 8 wins and 8 losses but 7 of his victories were by subs and he comes from 2 consecutive victories! Will Adams get another knockout? Or will Martin put his opponent to sleep? This heavyweight title contender fight will rock the Tycoon world!

Another preview for another great event. I have a feeling that it is gonna be even better than the first. Will you miss that? Of course not! And don’t forget to thank out sponsor! Nobody did last time, so it’s up to you guys!

See ya :)

Galaxy 2: Mayan Countdown Review!

Hurray! Galaxy 2: Mayan Countdown was a hit! Almost getting a 100 event rating for a sold out arena, we were presented by some awesome battles. 4 of them get a 100% ratings! Enough to make the fans go nuts! This review will bring the highlights of the event, including the heavyweight and bantamweight title eliminator, the fastest KO of Galaxy FC history and the man of the night, Chris Godley! You can’t miss that, so hurry up and because starts now, the Galaxy 2: Mayan Countdown official review!

Trefor ‘’The Tank’’ Thomas vs Sekhmakh ‘’The Macabre’’ Mubarak

The event couldn’t start better. This fight was awesome. Thomas went to this fight on drugs because he gets the takedown, he stands up, he clinches, and he breaks the clinch. Can a crazy guy win a fight with this crazy gameplan? Yes, he can! He dominated the entire fight! While on the feet, Thomas landed all 22 strikes and almost finishing the fight in the second round after rocking his opponent. In the ground he just sited and waited, nailing an easy victory. The question is, can Thomas takes the next step to success and smash the competition? I’ll keep an eye on this guy!

Marek Koltun vs Dan ‘’The Joker’’ Torres

In this bout, the wrestler Koltun got an early takedown and took less than a minute to mount Torres. He softened his opponent with some good ground and pound but Torres is a tough guy and almost holds up but 14 seconds to the end after a whooping elbow he couldn’t stand anymore making the referee stops the fight. A solid victory for Koltun that will make the welterweight division pay attention to this kid!

Anucha Poocha vs Imperial XinZhao

This was supposed to be the stand up battle of the night but Poocha was just too much for his opponent. He landed 28 strikes while XinZhao only landed 3. In the clinch the dominance was even greater. He landed 20 elbows in the first round! XinZhao should be very happy he didn’t have a single cut! I’ve seen many good fighters falling for much less! In the beginning of the second round Poocha was tired of beating the crap of his opponent and landed a monster head kick. This could easily be the KO of the night but it went elsewhere. The good news is the Poocha is fighting for the Bantanweight title in the Christmas event against Van De Kamp! He can be the first champion of the history of Galaxy FC! How awesome is that?

Lee ‘’The Machine’’ Evans vs Pitt Bull

That’s not much to talk about this fight. Mainly because Evans comes in a shape worst than Shogun and was an easy prey for his opponent. Bull dragged the fight to the ground and after a few ground and pound he finished the fight in 79 seconds. Despite of Evans condition, Bull debuted in great style. He should be proud of that!

Marcos ‘’El Matador’’ Alejandro vs Chris ‘’Guns’’ Godley

And here we are with the fight of the night! Like the first event when the battle of the grapplers won the FOTN this grappling war was even awesome! Godley start the fight with an early takedown. In the first half of the first round he tried to submit Alejandro a few times but no luck. Alejandro managed to get back to his feet and go to the clinch where he outmatched Godley until the end of this close round. Now in the second round the first half was in the clinch, where Alejandro kept dictating the pace of the fight. At some point he decided to take the fight to the ground but he stand up a couple of times. He didn’t seem confident about it but this round was all his. Now, the decisive round, Alejandro was the most aggressive fighter while Godley looked gassed. He clinched, drag the fight to the ground, all dominance here. It looked he was gonna get a decision victory here but after a takedown, Godley manage to pull a savior submission and made Alejandro tap out after an amazing armbar! Wow, how he did it? Still can believe it! Fight of the night and sub of the night doesn’t begin to describe this epic battle! The fans are sure delighted!

‘’Sergeant’’ Douglas Wilkes vs George ‘’Gorgeous’’ Davis

Puffy hands, puffy hands and more puffy hands! I think that resumes what happened in this fight. Wilkes stayed on top of Davis the entire fight and landed 48 strikes! A normal fight would end much quicker but due to Wilkes puffy hands it went for decision. I think that is a serious call for some strength training. Regardless of that, Wilkes dominated the entire fight and moves a few steps to the top of the division.

‘’Big’’ Bill Gunderson vs ‘’Bruiserbob’’ Bobby Harrison

This fight started with an aggressive Gunderson. He tried to get a takedown several times and the only thing Harrison could do is defend from it but in the 6th attempt he got it! After that it didn’t took much and Gunderson quickly submitted Harrison with an armbar. A fast and solid victory for Gunderson. I bet this guy aim high!

Tony ‘’Ironman’’ Stark vs Pawel Konopacki

Konopacki was debuting on the octagon but it didn’t seem like that! He is a wrestler but made the decision to strike against Stark and that worked pretty well for the polish. He was a much better striker and when the fight moved to the clinch we could see how much better he was when he landed 34 of 34 punches! Stark in the other hand only tried 5 takedowns in 1 round and a half. He mostly just was a punchbag! By the half of the second round Konopacki finally finished Stark with some strikes and nailing a victory by TKO. A got to tell you, this polish guys look that will beat the crap of the competition. You better stay sharp!

‘’Frankford Slasher’’ Leonard Christopher vs Nes Quick

Quick is probably still trying to figure out what tha hell happened to him, cause, man, Christopher was nasty! The fight only last 26 seconds and it was enough get a knockdown and then a brutal KO! Wow, it looks like this guy is sending a message to the heavyweight division and I guarantee he made his point! With that KO, Christopher won the KO of the night. He is closing in to the top and we may see him get a title shot soon!

Lawrence ‘’The Gorilla’’ Adams vs Andrew ‘’Test’’ Martin

In the main event we had a title eliminator fight between two great heavyweights! Adams entered the octagon undefeated and was the favorite against a guy with an 8-8 record but Martin didn’t give a damn about it and finished the fight in the first round! He didn’t allow Adams to hit a single strike while they were on their feet and in the ground was just a matter of time before he finishes with an armbar. Huge victory for Martin! He will now fight the winner of the fight between Nagasaki and Ryback for the Heavyweight title and may become the first Galaxy FC heavyweight champion!

That is folks! Hope you can enjoy it! I did it in a little rush so you may see more grammar errors than usual but I think it is ok. This is our second event and none of you thanked our sponsor and that’s bad, really bad! Come on guys, next time I want to see some thanks! Our next event is only December 21 but I think it’s worth the waiting. Of course, assuming we will live until then! And remember guys, Galaxy FC is only doing great so far because you guys are awesome!

See ya :)

Galaxy 3: Doomsday Preview!

It’s the end of the world as we know it but I will feel more than fine because before we all die we will have another great Galaxy FC event! We have so much title eliminator fights that I lost count! The most important are the little light heavyweight grand prix where the winners of the bouts between Ramstein Rommel vs Tommy Riordan and Nick Cave vs Mickey Felipe will fight for the title! The other important fight is our main event where we will find who will be fighting Andrew Martin for the Heavyweight title! So be ready because it’s starts now the Galaxy 3: Doomsday preview from hell!

Dee ‘’The Post Man’’ Livah vs Antonio Braga

Opening our great event we have Livah, a boxer holding a decision win in his career and he will fight against Braga, who is a BJJ brown belt and is debuting in the octagon. Livah can nail this one if he keeps the fight standing but once it goes to the ground, Braga have what it takes to quickly submit his opponent.

Xavier Sin vs Damian Dziku

Both fighters here are strikers that have negative records. While both have competent in boxing, Dziku have the better muay thai and this is what gives him the edge in this fight. However, if Sin is a sinner, he might make a pact with the demon. This fight will be closer than people think. Nobody should miss that!

Power Ranger Green vs ‘’The Assassin’’ Kin Vaue

Although the apocalypse is a little above a power ranger paygrade, Power Ranger Green is here to save the world! Ok, that’s bull, but he is here to beat the crap of his opponent! Both fighters are strikers with a solid ground game. The Power Ranger is an excellent boxer while Vaue is an excellent muay thai fight, so they will probably stand and bang and that will be awesome! And the winner of this bout might get a title shot!

Liam ‘’The Phenom’’ Lawrence vs Dan ‘’The Man’’ Swanson

In this bout we have a very equal fight. Both guys have a good boxing but Swanson has a slight advantage. The same thing happens on the ground. Both of them are in the same level but now Lawrence has the edge since he hold a BJJ purple belt. Sincerely, this fight can go either way and I will not be surprised if any of this guys beat the other where they are supposed to be worst!

Adolf Jakobsen vs Frankie ‘’The Furz’’ Furzon

Jakobsen will be the first guy to step in the octagon for the second time in the Galaxy FC history. In his first bout he got a quickly submission against Hanson, impressing a lot of people. Same thing he will try to do against Furzon, who is a well rounded fighter and despite the negative records, he is 2-0 in his last fights! Will Jakobsen pull another submission or Furzon will keep his winning sequel? Let’s find out!

John Kimble vs Felipe ‘’Flip’’ Lebron

Wow, what is Lebron doing here? Is that a sign of the end of the world? No! This Lebron is a Flip while the real likes to flop! Ok, terrible joke. Moving on, Kimble is a good grappler and holds a professional record of 4-1. The fake Lebron is a good boxer and holds a BJJ purple belt. While the fight is standing, Lebron should be the better fighter but in the ground I would give the edge for Kimble. That looks a very close fight but will that come true? The winner of this bout will be fighting for the featherweight title!

‘’The Demolition Man’’ Jean Claude Overeem vs ‘’Gorgeous’’ George Hill

I was going to start with a ‘’Run to the hills’’ joke but I’ll skip that because we have another title eliminator fight! For the middleweight division we have Overeem, a Muay Thai fighter with a good ground game. He holds a record of 4-2. The other contender is Hill. He is a well rounded fighter with a record of 9-6. Both of these guys have what it takes to get a shot for the title but only one will make it! Be ready because this fight will blow your mind!

‘’The Panzer’’ Ramstein Rommel vs Tommy ‘’Bane’’ Riordan

Opening our little Light Heavyweight GP, we have Rommel, an excellent boxer with a good wrestling. He holds an impressive record of 5-1. In the other side we have Riordan, a wrestler with a good boxing and he has a 3-2 cartel. I can’t see any of these guys finishing the other quickly so we might see a lot of action!

‘’The Bad Seed’’ Nick Cave vs Mickey Felipe

In the second leg of the GP, Cave is an excellent striker, knocking out his opponent 5 times in his 6 victories. Felipe is a well rounded fighter with a professional record of 11-5. Both of these guys look sharp but Cave has a terrible ground game. Will that week point let Felipe drag the fight to the ground and finish it or he will use his knockout power to send Felipe to the hospital? It’s impossible to predict anything here!

Sonny ‘’Diamond’’ Nagasaki vs Casey Ryback

In our main event of the evening, for closing the coffin – hopefully not literally – we have a heavyweight title eliminator fight! Both of these guys are grapplers with a BJJ purple belt. Although Ryback has a good ground game, he already showed some good striking skills and since Nagasaki has none, we might see him keep the fight standing. But once it hits the ground, it’s unpredictable. If I had to bet, the sub of the night lies in this fight. But who knows, we might as well see a knockout! Don’t miss this fight cause it will be awesome!

Remember that I said I lost count of how much title eliminator fights we have on this card? Well, that is 6! Yes you read right, it’s not a typo, it’s indeed 6!!! God damn! This event will rock and you can’t miss that! Some of you will be fighting in the 9th event for the title, so be in your best shape, set well your sliders and come to the octagon with a bloodlust the fans deserve! And don’t forget to thank our sponsor! That’s it guys, see you all in hell!

See ya :)

Galaxy 3: Doomsday Review!

Where is the fire rain, the 4 horseman of the apocalypse or the alien invasion? This Doomsday was a bust! But our Doomsday event was an epic win! A 114 rating mark event will be hard to overcome! Not to mention we had a sold out arena again and a lot of awesome title eliminator fights! Wow, it’s like having luck on Friday the 13th! So, let’s make a toast to celebrate life and the Galaxy FC: Doomsday Review!

Dee ‘’The Post Man’’ Livah vs Antonio Braga

These low hyped guys start the fight for a half a dozen of early fans and BANG! Wow, what a fight! Livah had a monster beginning where he opened a cut, had a knockdown and stuffed 7 takedowns of Braga. All of that in a minute and a half! But then Braga gets a takedown and submitted Livah in a few seconds! These guys went for the kill! Besides the great fight, Braga earned the sub of the night. He deserved it!

Xavier Sin vs Damian Dziku

Sin versus Dziku was an odd fight. Both guys are strikers that have a crap ground game but most of the fight happened on the ground. And to make less sense, both guys stand up for no reason when they were on top! What a crazy slider set! When the fighters were on its feet, Dziku showed that he was the better striker and won the fight. If he kept the fight stand he could get a KO in this fight.

Power Ranger Green vs ‘’The Assassin’’ Kin Vaue

In the first title elimination fight of the night, for the middleweight class, we were suppose to have a stand up war but Power Ranger Green cheated when he morphed and that gave no chance for Vaue. This was a one side fight! The Green savior landed 45 strikes while Vaue landed only 3! The only moment the fight was close was when it went to clinch. Vaue seemed to be better but he didn’t really work that hard for it. At the end of the second round the Power Ranger gets a knockdown and then a KO! Huge victory! Now he will be fighting Drakkar on January 13th for the title!

Liam ‘’The Phenom’’ Lawrence vs Dan ‘’The Man’’ Swanson

Dan Swanson is indeed the man! This fight was also supposed to be evenly matched on the feet but Swanson gave no chance to his opponent! Landing 25 of 27 strikes it only took one round to KO Lawrence! What a victory! Lawrence will have a headache for days!

Adolf Jakobsen vs Frankie ‘’The Furz’’ Furzon

Jakobsen is the first guy to step in the octagon for the second time in the Galaxy FC history and he did his job! The entire fight was on the ground. Furzon, although the less skilled fighter here, seemed to like to fight this way and he did a good job, but it wasn’t enough! Jakobsen nailed a 30-27 UD victory and his second victory in the org. He is climbing fast to the top! Who can stop this guy!?

John Kimble vs Felipe ‘’Flip’’ Lebron

For the featherweight title eliminator fight, Kimble gave no chance for the fake Lebron. He got an early takedown and from he dominated the fight. In less than one minute he moved to mount, softened his opponent with some ground and pound and then finished him with an armbar. Great victory for Kimble. Now he will be facing the winner of Blues vs McDonald for the title!

‘’The Demolition Man’’ Jean Claude Overeem vs ‘’Gorgeous’’ George Hill

And now, the fight of the night! For the welterweight title eliminator fight, we had an excellent fight. Overeem was nasty and dominated the entire fight! The fight started and he just needed a few seconds to knock Hill down! He couldn’t star better! After that the fight moved into clinch and that makes Overeem advantage more notorious! He beat the crap of Hill until the end of the round. The second round move into clinched very quickly and had the same result. But this time Overeem managed to land a sequence of knees the knocked Hill out while he still was on his feet! Wow, what an amazing win! Now he will be facing the winner of Lowe vs Shaver for the welterweight title! If a Hill couldn’t stop the Demolition Man, what/who can stop him?

‘’The Panzer’’ Ramstein Rommel vs Tommy ‘’Bane’’ Riordan

In the first leg of the light heavyweight we had a surprising end. Not for the fact that Rommel won, but the way he did it! But let’s not put the cart before the horse. Rommel started solid, punching Riordan while stuffing his takedowns but in the seventh attempt he got it! Riordan was supposed to be the better grappler in this bout but Rommel took less than one minute to take Riordan’s back and finish him with an armbar. Holy moly, I didn’t see that coming! Now he will be fighting for the light heavyweight title in Galaxy FC 9!

‘’The Bad Seed’’ Nick Cave vs Mickey Felipe

In the other leg of the GP, Cave was awesome the entire fight. He proved that despite the lack of ground game he can do his job! On its feet, he landed 73 strikes in the entire fight against only 5 of Felipe. The only time Felipe stood a chance was in the second round when he got a takedown but was already so beat up that he just sited there and took a nap. Cave won the fight by decision and now he will be facing Rommel in Galaxy FC 9! I can wait to see this fight, what about you?

Sonny ‘’Diamond’’ Nagasaki vs Casey Ryback

In the main event of the evening, for the heavyweight title eliminator fight, we had our fastest fight of the night and the KO of the night. This could be a grappling war but Ryback kept the fight standing and that worked pretty well for him! He was landing some heavy punches on Nagasaki that was trying desperately to get a takedown but Ryback keep punching him, getting him rocked and then he landed a jab that drop Nagasaki. Was the fight over? Yes, the referee stops the fight in the 39 seconds of the first round. Some people said the referee stopped too early but some people think Nagasaki was already done! Despite the controversial stoppage, Ryback nailed the KO of the night and a chance to fight for the title against Martin in Galaxy 9: Champions!

On, man, this event was huge! I bet it will take a while to beat the 114 mark. 4 of the title eliminator winner will be fighting on Galaxy 9: Champions! Yes, we will have 3 title fights in one event. It will be epic! The other two, Overeem and Kimble, will wait for their opponents. That’s it, guys. Thankfully the Mayas never learned calculus so we didn’t die horribly, which is good! I want to thank everybody once again. The Doomsday event was awesome and I only see awesomeness ahead! So fasten your seat belts, things are still gonna get better!

See ya :)

Galaxy 4: Christmas Bash Preview!

Jingle bells! Jingle bells! Jingle all the way! Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas everybody! Ok, Christmas spirit apart, let’s have some bloodbath and give a reason to the fans to go watch Galaxy 4 instead of having dinner with their families! This event brings you the first title dispute of the history of Galaxy FC! For the bantamweight title, Van De Kamp vs Poopha will fight to become the first Galaxy FC champion! How cool is that? We also gonna have a little GP in the lightweight division! This Christmas will be great! If you were a good kid I bet Santa will reward you with a win. But who I am the one who has a gift for you right now and that is the Galaxy 4: Christmas Bash preview!

So Lo vs ‘’Most Wanted’’ Noah Connor

Lo is debuting in his MMA career. He has an average muay thai and he is going to fight Connor, who holds a horrible card of 3 losses. Sources say Connor will be in a terrible shape for the fight and Lo should get a quick and easy win. Is that true? Let’s find out!

John ‘’Dope’’ Pope vs ‘’Fireball’’ Trevor Condit

For the lightweight division, we have a battle of strikers! Pope is a good muay thai fighter and he holds a weak record of 1-3. In the other hands, Condit is an excellent boxer and holds a 10-20 cartel. Condit looks to be the best fighter and he is also most experienced but Pope looks more focused to the fight. Will that be enough to win? Don’t miss that!

Sven ‘’The Norse Terror’’ Aanenson vs Simon Phoenix

Aanenson is a grappler that holds a brown belt in BJJ. In his only fight he submitted his opponent in the first round. He will be facing Phoenix, a boxer with a record of 2-1. His only loss was by a submission. This will be a striker versus grappler fight. Phoenix has all the advantage on the feet but if it hits the floor, Sven should enough tools to get a submission.

Lee Christmas vs Jack Fist

A guy named Christmas in a Christmas event. Is that fate or some evil plot by the org owner? It’s just probably a coincidence. No, it’s not! Christmas is an excellent boxer with a good wrestling and he has a record of 2 win and 2 losses. On the other side, the Grinch Fist is an excellent boxer with a negative record of 4-5. He wants to even his record but for that he will have to beat Christmas! This fight will be a stand and bang and it has everything to be awesome!

Sandor ‘’The Hound’’ Clegane vs Mariusz ‘’Imadlo’’ Kowal

In this heavyweight bout we have in one side Clegane, an average boxer and wrestler. He has an even record of 3-3 and he wants to untie it by beating Kowal, a grappler who holds a purple belt in BJJ and have a 2-1 record. Clegane is the better striker here but the fight is quite equal on the ground. Can Kowal get a sub? Let’s find out!

Harry ‘’Swing Low’’ Nutzack Jnr vs ‘’Wizard’’ Eric Worrell

This is the first fight of the lightweight GP. Nutzack is an excellent boxer with an average ground game and he holds a record of 4-4. Worrell in the other hand is an average striker but an excellent wrestler. He holds a negative record of 4-5 and he wants to tie his cartel. This will be a very interesting fight. Nutzack is better on the feet while Worrell will probably drag the fight to the mat, but I think both can give each other a hard time in the areas they are suppose to be less skilled. Still, at the end, the fighter who manages to keep the fight in his expertise area will probably win this bout and a chance for the title!

Stella ‘’Art of War’’ Artois vs ‘’The Hammer’’ Max Martello

Stella is such a girly name and also a very tasty beer. But what matter is that he is a fighter and he want to kick some ass! He is an excellent striker and he holds a good record of 9-5. The other fighter, Martello, is a good grappler with an average striking game. He holds a horrible cartel of 13-23. Martello likes to submit guys and he did it 7 times. Artois in the other hand has 3 losses by sub. But if he keeps the fight standing, he should be able to knockout his opponent! I bet this fight is a good candidate to be the fight of the night! Don you think so?

Richard ‘’The Dick’’ Coughlan vs Kiko Kaluma

This fight is possibly a contender fight. Depending how things go, the winner of this fight can be the next contender of the bantamweight division! Now, presenting the fighters, Coughlan is a good boxer and he also holds a BJJ purple belt. He has a record of 7-5 and he will be facing Kaluma, an excellent wrestler that holds a record of 11-7. If Coughlan keeps the fight standing he should be the better fighter but Kaluma’s wrestling skills will probably get some takedowns and that’s when we will see how sharp Coughlan jiu-jitsu is. He will really need it for this fight!

‘’Wonderboy’’ Chris Van De Kemp vs Anucha Poopha

In our co-main event of the evening we have the first title fight in Galaxy FC history! For the bantamweight division we have Van De Kemp, a grappler, who just recently got his brown belt! His folks should be very proud! He also has an undefeated record of 3 win and all by sub! In the other corner we have Poopha, an exceptional muay thai fighter that is bloodthirsty to get a KO! He also have an undefeated of 2 victories both by knockout! Who of these two warriors will bring home the bantamweight belt and become the first Galaxy FC champion? This fight, my friends, will be epic!

‘’The Stag’’ Lee Wilson vs Clayton Black

In the main event we have the other leg of the little lightweight GP. Wilson is a good well rounded fighter and he holds an excellent record of 6-1. His opponent is Black, a grappler that holds a BJJ brown belt. He has a not impressive record of 3-2 but is the former Showtime lightweight champion! The key to the victory here for Wilson is to keep the fight standing since Black has a very weak striking game but on the ground, Black should have what it takes to get a sub and win the bout! Who will get a shot for the title? No one should miss that!

Let’s hope Santa forget that I did a pact with the devil to survive the doomsday and give us a great event! Things are heating up, despite of the fact that is winter in London, and we will get our first champion! We will also know who will be fighting for the lightweight title! So, stop stuffing some turkey down your throat and run to your pc to take a peak in this Christmas Event!

See ya :)

WvM

TRIVIA!

I’m feeling a little Christmassy so I decided to do a little trivia to spice things up :)

What you have to do is guess what will be the length of the Christmas event!

Let me give a little example if you didn’t get it:

In an event with 3 fights: One ended in 1:30 of the first round, the other ended in 4:00 of the second round and the last ended in a 3 rounds decision. So the first fight took 1:30, the second 9:00 (4:00 + 5:00) and the third 15:00 (5:00 x 3). Totalizing a 25:30 length!

If you want something to compare:

Galaxy 1: Took 1:24:28

Galaxy 2: Took 1:08:52

Galaxy 3: Took 1:14:28

Keep in mind that the event has all 10 fights scheduled and one of them is a title fight. So the max length is 2:40:00

The winner is the person who comes closer to the right time. He/she will be awarded with 5K. If somehow you get it precisely, I’ll throw a 20K and ask for the lottery numbers. Only one entry for person and only entries here in the Smack Talk Thread will be counted.

So, what are you waiting for? Start guessing!

PS1: Great thanks to Aaron Jason and Dynamic FC for adding 15K to the correct answer.

PS2: I also know that it’s not a trivia, it’s a guessing game. So, don’t bust my chops about it, ok? haha

Guesses:

gds1978 - 1:15:00

Cho5en - 1:21:00

Roygoos - 1:18:50

Se7en - 1:37:22

Victusify - 1:57:14

farmerbow - 1:17:43

Galaxy 4: Christmas Bash Review!

Does anyone wished to Santa some fantastic knockouts? I bet someone did because we had awesome knockouts this event! For a sold out arena and an event rating over 100 we had 6 100% ratings fights! Yes, you read it right, 6! You won’t see it that much here in the MMA Tycoon universe! We also had the lightweight GP. Wilson and Nutzack Jnr will be fighting for the title on January 19th and we had our first champion! Anucha Poocha beat the crap of his opponent and become the bantamweight champion! It was an unbelievable massacre! But let’s not spoiler things up and now I declared the Galaxy 4: Christmas Bash officially on!

So Lo vs ‘’Most Wanted’’ Noah Connor

Connor went to fight in a really bad shape and crumbled by Lo’s hands in only 21 seconds! Right after the bell, he landed a big head kick that almost finished the fight but Connor managed to survive a few more seconds. However, after a sequence of punches Lo became victorious in the first fight of his career! Good start!

John ‘’Dope’’ Pope vs ‘’Fireball’’ Trevor Condit

This was a striking match. Pope started the fight desperately trying to clinch but no good. Meanwhile, the fight was pretty even but then Condit decided to clinch! What was he thinking? Pope used this poor tactics to dominate the first round. The second round was about the same. A few exchanges in the beginning with Pope trying to clinch but then Condit clinched again! What a display of fairplay here! Once again Pope elbowed his way to win the round. The last round was all about striking with no clinch but Condit was already done by that time and only survived to see himself losing by UD. A solid victory for Pope here!

Sven ‘’The Norse Terror’’ Aanenson vs Simon Phoenix

In this striker versus grappler fight, the striker came on top! Phoenix was landing some damaging punches while stuffing Aanenson takedowns. By the first minute he rocked his opponent and then dropped him with an overhand followed by strikes and that’s it! Great victory for Phoenix!

Lee Christmas vs Jack Fist

In the most even fight of the event, we had a stand and bang match! But it only happened because Fist stuffed 22 takedowns from Christmas, wow! While on the feet, the fight was pretty even and although Christmas landed more strikes, Fist landed more damaging strikes. Not to mention he was the most aggressive fighter in the fight. In the last minute of the fight, Christmas finally got a takedown but it was too late. A 29-28 UD victory for Fist. What a bad Christmas for Christmas! Fist in the other hand moved substantially to the top of his division! Keep an eye on that guy!

Sandor ‘’The Hound’’ Clegane vs Mariusz ‘’Imadlo’’ Kowal

The bell ringed and instantly Kowal gets a takedown! But his luck didn’t last long because Clegane sweeped him and got back to his feet! Less than one minute Kowal gets another takedown but nothing happened so back to the feet. After that Clegane did a series of clinches but he always break them. On the second round, Clegane clinches again but now he wants to finish the fight! He landed a nice uppercut that rocked his opponentl and then he landed a hook that sent Kowal to the floor making the referee stops the fight! Excellent win!

Harry ‘’Swing Low’’ Nutzack Jnr vs ‘’Wizard’’ Eric Worrell

For the first leg of the lightweight GP, we had an interesting fight. Worrell started the fight getting an early takedown and he used the ‘’lay and prey’’ tactics the entire round. With two referee stand ups and a couple of takedowns worked for him but no action. In the second round we could finally see Nutzack Jnr skills! He managed to keep the fight standing while throwing some good punches until he landed an overhand knocking down Worrell and a couple of strikes later the referee finished it with only 1:36 of the second round! Nutzack Jnr will now fight for the lightweight title on January 19th.

Stella ‘’Art of War’’ Artois vs ‘’The Hammer’’ Max Martello

Our beer friend was nasty this fight! In 28 seconds, after 3 combos, the fight was already over! Martello didn’t stand a chance against this guy! Especially after an overhand that dropped him followed by a big right hand making the referee jumps to save him! Huge victory for Artois! One more victory and he will be probably fighting for the title!

Richard ‘’The Dick’’ Coughlan vs Kiko Kaluma

This fight was a title eliminator fight for the bantamweight division. Couglhan was the better striker and even though Kaluma was the better wrestler, he tried 15 takedowns and didn’t get a single one! Since the entire fight was on the feet, Couglhan easily dominated the entire fight. On the beginning of the second round, after some brutal punches, he knocked out cold Kaluma! Now he will be facing Poocha for the bantamweight title!

‘’Wonderboy’’ Chris Van De Kemp vs Anucha Poopha

This fight didn’t just present us with the first Galaxy FC champion. It also presented us with the most brutal bloody hell massacre you will probably see here in the org! Man, what the fuck happened! Poopha, the striker, just simply cageraped his opponent, Van De Kemp, a grappler! In all the 5 rounds, Van De Kemp tried 55 takedowns and didn’t land any! Yes, 55 attempts with no luck! Do you think this number is stupefying? How about Poopha that landed all the strikes he attempted. How many was that, do you ask? Let me get my calculator. 257!!! Yes, 257 fucking strikes he landed! Craphell, what crazy shit is that!? This numbers justify the 50-43 UD the judges gave to him and man, I don’t think I’ll see something like that so soon! Van De Kemp is a warrior! He somehow survived but it will take some heavy therapy to this kid to step on the octagon again! This was by far the fight of the night! Massacre apart, Poopha became the first Galaxy FC champion! Congratulations! He more than deserves it!

‘’The Stag’’ Lee Wilson vs Clayton Black

In our main event of the evening, for the second leg of the lightweight GP, we had an excellent fight! Black started getting an early takedown. He tried 6 submission of the first round but didn’t get one. It was a close round. But the second Black tried a takedown and bang, Wilson counters! Another takedown, another counter! And again, and again until Wilson finally goes for the kill and lands a big left sending black to his knees! Wilson keep pressuring, forcing Black to tap out before the referee could stop the fight! Wow, what a nasty victory! He gets the KO of the night and he will be fight for the title against Nutzack Jnr in Galaxy 11!

In my opinion this event was the best so far. I know the ratings say otherwise but man, 6 100% rating fights? Not to mention the bantamweight title fight that was something totally unexpected! To sum up, once again you put up a great show! And congratulations to Poopha, for becoming the first Galaxy FC champion! Hopefully we will grow so much to the point it will actually means something someday! :)

Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas!

WvM

TRIVIA!

If I'm not mistaken, the Christmas Bash length is...1:22:36. The person who gets closer is... Cho5en aka Rick O'Shea!

He guessed 1:21:00. Missed by 1 minute and 36 seconds but enough to win! :)

PM me saying where do you want me to send the money!

PS: Anyone can ask for a recount if you think I add it wrong ;)

Galaxy 5: Fireworks Preview!

Goodbye Santa and welcome 2013! But not yet! We still have one last event to make the fans go nuts! Let’s celebrate how great this year was and how event greater the next will be! For that we will have 2 title eliminator fights! One for the welterweight division and the other for the middleweight division! So, grab those illegal fireworks you just bought behind a store in Chinatown and let’s light it on because the Galaxy 5: Fireworks is officially on!

Keiji Kawada vs Mercenary Katarina

Kawada debuted in the octagon on the first event of Galaxy FC. Unfortunately he was KO by a head kick but now he wants to finally win and for that he will use his grappling skills to fight against Katarina, a muay thai fighter with a horrible record of 1-6! He is debuting in the org and wants to break his 6 loss streak! Will Katarina get a KO or Kawada will sub him? Sounds an interesting fight!

´´Your Fantanasy’’ Zack Fantana vs Reginald Francis Colon

Both of these guys already fought for Galaxy FC. Fantana, after a good start, lost via submission. Colon in the other hand won by TKO in the first round! Fantana is a good muay thai fighter and he likes to clinch. Colon is a well rounded fighter that probably will try to take the fight to the ground. Will he be able to do that? Fantana already showed that it is his weak spot but if he clinches, my friend, you will be in a bad situation! Don’t miss that!

Top Gun vs Rajesh Nahasemapetilon

I just break my finger trying to type Raj’s name. But that won’t come close to the potential these guys have to beat each other! Top Gun debuted in Galaxy FC with a solid decision win. He is average boxer and has a decent ground game. Rajesh, in the other hand, is an excellent boxer who is eager to get a knockout. Especially after a 4 lost streak. Will Gun stand and bang or he will be clever and drag the fight to the ground? Don’t blink!

That Guy vs ‘’Body Fat’’ Paul Thomas

These guys here have some history. They had 2 fights already in 2010! Most of you guys were even aware of the existence of the game! Both fights won by Guy and after 2 years they finally face each other again! How cool is that? Both fighters are well rounded, so, anything can happen! That Guy has a record of 24-17, but with a lot of ‘’easy win’’. Thomas has a negative record of 24-36! These veterans want to prove they are still capable to put some show and I think they will deliver it!

‘’Sholes Goals’’ Shola Ameobi vs Chris ‘’Hunter’’ Mostavo

For the heavyweight division we have Ameobi, an excellent wrestler with an even record of 3-3. He will be facing Mostavo, a BJJ brown belt with a record of 1 win and 1 loss. Both of these guys are ground fighters but both have different styles. In my opinion, BJJ fighters are wrestler’s worst nightmare. Will Ameobi prove me wrong or Mostavo will hunt him down all fight trying to submit him? I bet this ground battle will be awesome!

Ozzie Castillo vs ‘’Speedy’’ Owen Glyde

In this light heavyweight bout, we have Castillo, an excellent boxer with an average ground game. He holds a record of 17-13 and he is debuting in the Galaxy FC. He is fighting Glyde, a good boxer and he also holds a purple belt in BJJ. In his last fight he submitted his opponent in less than one minute! Will he pull something like that against Castillo or this will be a striking match? O can’t wait to see that!

Roene Dekker vs Magomed ‘’Ji-est Bro’’ Malikov

Dekker is stepping in the octagon with a losing streak. In his debut in Galaxy FC he lost by decision. He is an excellent boxer with a good ground game. Especially now that he got his purple belt in BJJ. And he will use it to fight Malikov, also an excellent boxer with a good ground game. Both of these are equal skill wise but I’ll give the edge to Dekker after he upgraded his belt. But that’s no way to call something here until we see one of them out cold in the octagon!

Neil ‘’The Enforcer’’ Miller vs ‘’Bounty Hunter’’ Jaques Du Coudray

In this battle of the undefeated we have in one side Miller, an excellent boxer with a good wrestling. He has an excellent record of 4 win, all by KO. On the other side we have Du Coudray, a good boxer with good grappling skills. He has 2 wins but both by decision. Miller seems to have a slightly advantage on the feet but Du Coudray has what it takes to win this fight once it hits the ground! In the battle of the Enforcer versus a Bounty Hunter I call it a 50/50. There is now way to predict anything here!

Cyprian Warga vs Michael Griffin

For the middleweight division, we have a contender fight. Warga is an excellent striker and he just got his purple belt in BJJ, closing a substantial gap in his abilities! He holds an excellent cartel of 7-1 but he lost his last fight. Now, Griffin is an excellent boxer with an average ground game. He has a record of 5-2 and all his victories are by KO! This should be a pretty even match on the feet but Warga has the edge on the ground. Will Griffin be able to frustrate Warga’s Plan? Let’s find out!

Nicky Lowe vs ‘’Droppy’’ Dick Shaver

In the main event of the evening we have a welterweight title eliminator bout! Lowe is a well rounded fighter with a BJJ purple belt. He is also the former Showtime welterweight champion and he holds a record of 6-1! Shaver is an average striker with a good ground game. He has an undefeated cartel of 5 victories and he wants to add one more! Both of these guys are better ground fighter, so, in theory, most of the fight should be there. But don’t get surprise if we see a knockout in this fight! Will Lowe maintain his pride of a champion and win or will he have to live with a lost to a guy named Dick Shaver? I bet this fight will be awesome!

Boom, another preview is written! I hope this last event of the year will be a blast! We have some great fights and I’m positively sure you guys are gonna do great! I want to wish you all a happy new year and that 2013 will be awesome to everybody! Now enjoy the Galaxy 5: Fireworks Preview!

See ya :)

Ronnie "Eye" Way met with Roene Dekker after his Unanimous Decision victory, over Magomed malikov

Ronnie: Ronnie Way here, for EyeFighting.com, Im talking with Roene Dekker, who get back on track with decision win over Magomed Malikov...how happy are you, man?

Roene: Well, everything went as planned, I stopped his takedowns, beat him up in the clinch, his face doubled it size...pretty happy.

Ronnie: You had him hurt clearly in that last minute, why we didn't see KO?

Roene: I screwed...a little bit. I shouldn't go down with him, I knew that I need to keep it standing...don't really know, maybe I was to excited, smelling win after last two fights. Who knows. But I scored W, and that's most important thing.

Ronnie: I heard you was talking with Galaxy's CEO with you manager about next fight...any hint who you asked for in your next trip to the cage?

Roene: I came to galaxy to really start new chapter in my career...but someone spoiled it. Jaques Du Coudray, you caught me with a few takedowns in our first fight and you get lucky with judges. This time, Im planning to separate you from your senses and proved that our bout at Galaxy FC 1 was a pure luck.

Ronnie: He was on todays card as well, scoring decision victory over Neil Miller, very tough opponent, legit KO artist, and he avoid being knock out and proved his superiority tonight. What do you think about this fight?

Roene: Well, I may say he was lucky on Galaxy 1, but tonight? I think we saw a little bit different Jaques, than before. He fought legit KO artist, dude that has dynamite in his hands, and Jaques came out guns blazing, swinging for the fences, hooks, combos, high kicks...really, he wasn't afraid of exchanging with him. I respect him for that. I think second fight, if he agrees to do this, will be much more interesting and than first one. But don't make mistake about it, when Neil started to put together combos and strikes of his own, Jaques sticked to his bread and butter, took him down and controlled him there. So, if you can survive early assault, and start to counter, I think he starts to panic a little bit. He improves his game all the time, and Im really looking forward to do this again now.

Ronnie: No hard feeling becuase of first fight?

Roene: I've made couple of mistakes, and I think that's why I lost. This time I will force him to do mistake and I will knock him out. So, no disrespect Jaques, I really like you, I enjoy watching your fights, but I will still knock you out. I hope we can still be good buddies after this fight, homie. See you in the cage.

Ronnie: That was Roene Dekker, who came back to win column with dominate performance over Magomed Malikov. See you after your next fight.

Galaxy 5: Fireworks Review!

This last event of the year was a blast! With a rating of 144 almost beat the previous record only by 0.29! Once again we had a sold out event but that is no surprise because you guys are freaking awesome! We had some excellent fights like Du Coudray versus Miller and the amazing knockout by Castillo! This guy finished his fight with a superman punch! How cool is that? But I’ll tell what else is cool: The Galaxy 5: Fireworks review and it is ready so enjoy it!

Keiji Kawada vs Mercenary Katarina

Well, what can I say about this fight? It lasted the entire 3 rounds, Kawada was dominant all the 15 minutes and the best of all, neither of these guys landed a single strike in the entire fight! What that fuck happened!? Kawada tried 10 strikes and nothing. Katarina tried 13 and bogus. I didn’t think I would live to see such an embarrassing match. Kawada has a better excuse since he is a BJJ fighter but Katarina, my friend, I would go see an ophthalmologist right now or simple try to find a more suitable job! Kawada got a UD victory mostly because he dictated the pace and tried some subs but that’s all!

´´Your Fantanasy’’ Zack Fantana vs Reginald Francis Colon

In the first move of the fight, Colon moves the fight into clinch, Fantana’s area of expertise! What was that guy trying to prove? Fortunately for him, Fantana didn’t seem very aggressive and the fight was very equal. After a minute Colong gets a takedown and build his way to the victory! After some ground and pound and some sub attempts he landed a huge elbow that hurt Fantana and two more strikes was enough to the referee stop the fight. Second loss for Fantana in Galaxy FC and 4 in a roll! Colon, in the other hand, landed his second first round win in Galaxy FC. This kid has future!

Top Gun vs Rajesh Nahasemapetilon

I was hoping to see a striking match here but once again Top Gun put in practice his frenetic crazy gameplan. He started to clinch then breaks clinch. He gets a takedown than he stands up. This kid is nuts but it is working pretty well for him! Although Rajesh is the better striker he only landed 2 punches in 31 attempts and that’s pretty bad! By the end of the second round, after pulling guard, Gun gets an armbar and finally finishes the fight! Despite his insanity, it was his second victory in Galaxy FC and nailed the sub of the night! Rajesh, once again, adds a sub loss in his cartel. Some defensive grappling won’t hurt.

That Guy vs ‘’Body Fat’’ Paul Thomas

Thomas had a shot to finally win Guy but again he didn’t do his job and now he has to face that he lost to the same ‘’Guy’’ three times! The fight itself didn’t last long. Thomas got an early takedown but instead of attacking his opponent since he was on top, he saw Guy try submission after submission until in the fourth attempt he gets an armbar and that’s all over! A solid victory for Guy who is coming close to the top of the division. And what about Thomas, if he can beat ‘’That Guy’’ what else he can do in his career?

‘’Sholes Goals’’ Shola Ameobi vs Chris ‘’Hunter’’ Mostavo

In this battle of grapplers, Ameobi didn’t take a second to takedown his opponent and after that he used his ground and pound to build his victory. The entire first round was about Ameobi beating Mostavo and the second wasn’t different. And early takedown and more ground and pound but this time Mostavo could hang it and Ameobi finally managed to stop the fight after some strikes. The referee was right to put Mostavo out of his misery! Great victory for the wrestler Ameobi! It’s not easy to a wrestler beat a BJJ fighter!

Ozzie Castillo vs ‘’Speedy’’ Owen Glyde

I called that it was going to be an even match on the feet but boy, I was wrong! Castillo was deadly with his hands landing 15 of 16 strikes. Glyde was stunned by Castillo performance and basically was just a punchbag until Castillo rock’s Glyde and than finishes with a superman punch that knocked out cold his opponent! That was freaking awesome! I’ve got to say I’m a little jealous right now! Huge victory for Castillo, who is now on the top 3 of his division! And of course, the KO of the night was more than well deserved! Congratulations!

Roene Dekker vs Magomed ‘’Ji-est Bro’’ Malikov

I was pretty sure that this fight was going to be even in the feet and on the ground. But I didn’t predict what would happen if it goes into the clinch and that is what happened. Malikov was no match for Dekker. He dominated the entire fight, landing 54 punches while Malikov missed all 23 attempts and also didn’t get luck with his 6 attempts to takedown. By the end of the fight Dekker landed a knockdown that rocked his opponent but he couldn’t finish the fight so he got a solid UD victory! After the fight, Dekker gave an interview calling Du Coudray for a rematch! Is that the birth of a rivalry in Galaxy FC? Let’s hope so!

Neil ‘’The Enforcer’’ Miller vs ‘’Bounty Hunter’’ Jaques Du Coudray

This fight was the fight of the night and oh man, Du Coudray is a vicious fighter! In my opinion, Miller was slightly better striker but Du Coudray proved me wrong! The first round we had a great display of a striking match. Du Coudray showed some great muay thai skills and that made him the winner of the first round. In the second, stayed more aggressive and keep dominating. He even got a takedown o assure he opens a 20-18 score. On the third, Miller knew he needed to step up and get a knockout and to do that he started to be more aggressive and that worked well for him but it wasn’t enough. Du Coudray in the end of the round scored another takedown to close the coffin and get his third win in his career and remains undefeated. This guy will go far! Miller had his first loss in his career. How much will that affect his performance? I bet this kid has much more to show us!

Cyprian Warga vs Michael Griffin

In the co-main event of the evening we had the quickest knockout of the night! In only 30 seconds we had an amazing fight! Both of these guys want to knockout each other! Griffin was doing fine but Warga landed a high kick that knocked him down! He tried to recover but Warga keep pressuring him with punches, making the referee jumps to save him! Wow, that was awesome! I feel bad that I didn’t give any award to this fight. Warga was supposed to get a title shot after this bout but Galaxy FC overlord thinks he would wait too much time to fight again so it would be wise to keep Warga active and bloodthirsty!

Nicky Lowe vs ‘’Droppy’’ Dick Shaver

In the main event we had a slow paced fight. Shaver got a takedown as soon the bell rings. He lay and pray until the referee stand them up. A few exchanges and a new takedown for shaver close the first round for him. The second round started with Lowe trying to strike but another takedown frustrated his plan. Once again the referee intervened. Back to the feet, now is clinch time. Lowe did a little better but surprise surprise, Shaver gets another takedown! But this time, after a sloppy sub attempt Lowe sweeps and stays on top until the end tying the fight! In the last and decisive round we had a close match on the feet until Shaver gets his last takedown, move to full mount and waited for the victory to come! Shaver knew what he was doing and he got it! Now he will be fighting Overeem to see who will become the first Galaxy FC welterweight champion!

Well, that’s it guys. One more review for you! I really like this event. I think we close the year in great style and I can’t see anything else than a bright future. So I’m counting on you guy to grow even further! And a special thanks to Miller and Du Coudray for the awesome fight; to Warga that even though he lost a direct chance for the title and the KO of the night he is still one of the best fighters in the org and I’m sure he has a bright future here; and to Castillo for giving Galaxy FC such an amazing knockout! Happy new year, everybody!

See ya :)

Galaxy 6: Supernova Preview!

Happy new year, everybody! Or happy hangover recovery! I hope I’m posting it in 2012, but who knows? Nevertheless, to celebrate the first event of the year, we have some interesting fights! One fight I’d like to point out is between Blues versus McDonald to see who will be eligible to fight for the featherweight title against Kimble! But that’s not all! So, stay tuned and read the Galaxy 6: Supernova Preview! We have some amazing matches that you can miss!

‘’The Hood Rat’’ Hoodie Ratty vs Bryce ‘’ Lucky Limes’’ ODonnell

Both these guys already fought for Galaxy FC and both lose. Ratty had an amazing fight and lost in his field of expertise when he was subbed in the third round! ODonnell had a tough fight but was overmatched and lost by decision. Both of these guys want to come around and show their best to win. For that, Ratty probably wants to drag the fight to the mat but ODonnell seems to be improving fast and he has the edge on the feet. It’s hard to call something here. I bet It’s gonna be a war!

Aidan ‘’Little Viking’’ Patrick vs Terry Picket

Patrick is a muay thai fighter and he is debuting on the octagon against Picket, a grappler that has a horrible cartel of 4 losses. His last one was on Galaxy 1 when he lost by TKO in less than 2 minutes! I believe that he can win this fight if he gets a takedown. But while they are striking, Picket seems an easy prey! A striker versus grappler bout. Which still will overcome? Let’s find out!

Kane Alexander vs Terry Cheese

For the bantamweight division, we have Alexander. He is a good striker and he has a weak record of 4-8. He lost 7 of his last 8 bouts! But to overcome that, he will be facing Cheese, a well rounded fighter with an even record of 18-18. Will be Alexander’s striking skills enough to score a knockout against his opponent or Cheese will fight wisely and drag the fight to the ground? It’s a very interesting fight!

Grigorio ‘’I Came’’ Escobar vs Grzegorz ‘’Dusiciel’’ Schab

Escobar debuted in Galaxy FC with a solid UD victory against a better fighter showing excellent striking skills! He will be facing Schab, a grappler with an average striking game. He has a negative record of 5-7 and he wants badly this victory! Differently of Escobar, who maxed out his credit card parting after his last victory and now doesn’t have money to train or even fly back home! What a shame! Will Escobar prove us wrong again or will Schab candidate himself for the sub of the night? You can’t miss that!

Noam ‘’The British Young Gun’’ Devitt vs Carlton Leach

In this middleweight bout we have Devitt, an average boxer that has a win in his career. Leach is also an average striker but he has an even record of 2-2. Devitt is a deceptive fella! Although he is a boxer, in his only fight he won by ground n’ pound! Leach should keep that in mind since he is probably waiting a striking match! Will Devitt surprise us again and drag the fight to the ground or we will have a stand and bang match? It’s a hard call!

‘’The Idol’’ Erik Trent vs Kieran ‘’Kiko’’ Stevenson

For the welterweight division, we have a battle of two young prospects. Trent is an average muay thai fighter with average grappling skills. He has one win in his career and it was by TKO in the first round. Stevenson is an excellent boxer and he is debuting in the octagon. Stevenson is specialized in one style and can knock Trent out in a second but his ground game is very weak and Trent can wisely explore this gap. At the end it all comes out on Stevenson’s takedown defense skills.

Jake Rosholt vs ‘’Highlander’’ Ellic McCrae

After a horrible performance in Galaxy FC 1, Rosholt lost his shot for the title but not the will to pursue it! But first, he has to face McCrae, a good grappler with average striking skills. He has a lousy record of 4-8 but as his nickname suggests, he won’t give up that easy! Although both these guys are grapplers, Rosholt is better at it but if you look to their striking game, we see a pretty close fight! Will they succumb to their dominant style and go to the ground or they will give us a stand and bang showdown? I can’t wait to see that!

KJ ‘’Pride Of North Dakota’’ Blues vs Doug ‘’The Glaswegian Nightmare’’ McDonald

In this title eliminator fight for the featherweight division, we have a field dispute between the yanks and the scots! In one side, we Blues defending the honor of America! He is a wrestler with a good record of 5-1. All fights his victories ended by sub though! McDonald, for the pride of Scotland, is a well rounded fighter with a 1-1 cartel. McDonald was given a chance for the title after a victory in Galaxy 1 but he didn’t want to sit and wait for it. He wanted to fight and he got it! That kid has blood in his eyes! Blues will have a hard time but he has the tools to get a takedown and build his way to the victory. You can’t afford to miss this one because it has everything to be awesome!

Rajon Rondo vs ‘’The Specialist’’ Vladimir Oro

After the appearance of a fake Lebron now we have another fake NBA all-star fighting for Galaxy FC! Rondo is a good boxer and wrestler and has a record of 4-1. His only lost was by submission where Oro is a specialist. With a record of 4-4, all his victories came by a sub and his losses were by decision. This is a tough dude to finish! Will Rondo manage to do it or he will fall for another submission? This fight put the winner one step closer to the title! Give your best, guys!

Doctor Gonzo vs Veikko ‘’Kaupungin Tavoittelevin P’’ Rastila

In our main event we have a deadly match in the heavyweight division. Gonzo is an excellent grappler and has a record of 14-8-1. Rastilla is an excellent striker but also have a good ground game. He has an undefeated record of 3 wins and wants to keep it that way! This fight seems to be another striker versus grappler fight but Rastilla looks sharp in both areas. Differently of Gonzo that doesn’t display a good confidence in his feet. Despite of that, I still believe Gonzo can nail a victory if the fight goes to the ground. This main event will be a blast! No one should miss that!

Despite of what year this preview will be released I want to wish you all a happy new year and this event will be a good beginning for what it’s coming for all of you guys! So, cure your hangover and set your sliders wisely because we have some bloodthirsty guys wanting to come close to a shot for the title!

See you in 2013 :)

Galaxy 6: Supernova Review!

That wasn’t the start I hoped to open the year. We had our worst ratings and a 962 people attendance. First time we didn’t have a sold out arena. But statistics apart, from my point of view, this event wasn’t so bad. Actually we had some good fights that surely entertained the fans! Rastila and Rondo are closing in the title shot and McDonald finally getting his title shot in the featherweight division. So don’t let the ratings fool you and enjoy the Galaxy 6: Supernova Review!

‘’The Hood Rat’’ Hoodie Ratty vs Bryce ‘’ Lucky Limes’’ ODonnell

Ratty starts the first round scoring a takedown but he didn’t do anything and the referee intervenes. Another takedown but this time he standup. Crazy? A third takedown and again he standup while on top! Definitely crazy! Once on the feet ODonnell showed his striking skills and start dominating the fight. He even scored a takedown in the end of the round to win it. The second round started with Miller better. Especially when he moved the fight into clinch but then he decided to drag the fight to the mat! Bold! And he kept dominating the fight! The fight comes back to the feet and once again Odonell gets a takedown to win the round. The last round Miller got an early takedown and stayed on top the entire round to win the fight by UD! Huge victory for Miller and second lost in Galaxy FC for Ratty!

Aidan ‘’Little Viking’’ Patrick vs Terry Picket

Patrick a muay thai fighter fighting a grappler and his first move in his MMA career is a takedown! After that picked managed to pull guard and after some sub attempts he finally gets a victory in his career and finishes Patrick with a kneebar! His mother is probably very proud right now! And to celebrate his first victory, he also scored the sub of the night! Congratulations to Picket!

Kane Alexander vs Terry Cheese

The fight started with a slow pace. Both with a counter tactic until Cheese scores a takedown but Alexander manages to get up really quick. Some more exchanges and Cheese gets a takedown into mount! He eventually takes Alexander’s back and starts trying to get a RNC. He is getting close to it but the round is ending. Will he do it? He sunk the choke and Alexander is forced to tap 3 seconds to the end of the round! Nice finish by Cheese that now has a positive record!

Grigorio ‘’I Came’’ Escobar vs Grzegorz ‘’Dusiciel’’ Schab

The Bell rings and Schab gets an early takedown. The entire round he stayed in Escobar’s guard, trying sub after sub but no luck. The second round Escobar start showing some decent striking skills with punches and kicks until Schab gets a takedown. After that, the round was pretty much about the same as the first. The final and decisive round started very slow. Escobar not doing much while was trying some sloppy takedowns until Escobar connects with a cross that rocked Schab! Then he throws a monster head kick that knocked out cold Shab! Wow, what a great victory! Escobar is vicious! The fight almost won the fight of the night but maybe next time. Escobar is climbing quickly to the top. I bet some guys are really worried right now!

Noam ‘’The British Young Gun’’ Devitt vs Carlton Leach

The first round was insane! Both of the fighters are strikers but they kept trying takedowns and then standup. At some point when they were on the feet, Leach dropped Devitt with a nice combination! A few seconds later he rocked Devitt with a head kick! Will he finish the fight? No! He scores a takedown! What a boner killer! The second round starts and Leach comes really aggressive! His corner gave him some dope! In less than a minute he lands a brutal head kick that almost knocked Devitt but a couples of punches later the fight was over! Leach is nasty! The fight of the night is definitely in good hands!

‘’The Idol’’ Erik Trent vs Kieran ‘’Kiko’’ Stevenson

I just want to say right away that Stevenson was high tonight. The guy is an excellent boxer and has no ground skills. But the only thing he did was try 5 times a takedown! This is not California. Weed is illegal here! Trent starts trying to move the fight into clinch but Stevenson take care of that for him! How nice! A few elbows and knees later, that’s all over. I feel ashamed for Stevenson in this fight. Trent, in the other hand, got an excellent victory and now he is very close to the top of the division!

Jake Rosholt vs ‘’Highlander’’ Ellic McCrae

In this fight all the rounds were about the same. First a few exchange with Rosholt a little better then he gets a takedown and stays on top the entire round using some good ground and pound to score a solid and easy UD victory. McCrae tried some submissions a landed a sweep at the end of the second round but other than that, he didn’t do much. Rosholt goes back to the top of the middleweight division and one more victory might get him a title shot! But let’s see how it goes.

KJ ‘’Pride Of North Dakota’’ Blues vs Doug ‘’The Glaswegian Nightmare’’ McDonald

This was the beat the crap of your opponent fight of the night! McDonald was nasty on the feet and landed all 80 strikes he attempted and also stuffed 9 takedowns of Blues! He almost finished the fight in the first round after rocking Blues with a head kick but he managed to survive. Unfortunately for him, he didn’t get the same luck in the second round. In less than a minute, McDonald landed a head kick that knocked down Blues. A few seconds later he landed another killer head kick! Blues staggered for a while like a drunk hobo while McDonald gave an evil smile and then felt face plant to the floor! Wow, that’s definitely the KO of the night! McDonald also won a chance for the title against Kimble! I can’t wait to see that fight!

Rajon Rondo vs ‘’The Specialist’’ Vladimir Oro

Like McDonald versus Blues fight, this was also a one side fight. Rondo took one round to punch his way to the victory! He landed 26 of 33 punches with an additional of 3 leg kicks. He also stuffed 6 takedowns from Oro. At the end of the first round, he landed a combo that rocked Oro, and then he connects with a big hook sending Oro to the ground! A few more strikes and the fight is over! Oro will sure need a specialist to fix his smashes face. Rondo now is in the top of the bantamweight division and might get a title shot soon!

Doctor Gonzo vs Veikko ‘’Kaupungin Tavoittelevin P’’ Rastila

Man, today wasn’t a good day for grapplers! In the main event we also had a striker beating a grappler. In this case took less than 2 minutes! Rastila connected some good strikes while stuffing some takedowns and about one minute and a half he threw a vicious combo almost knocking out cold Gonzo. Rastila followed him with punches looking to finish the fight! Gonzo flail his arms trying something here but by that time he was probably seeing the holy spirit of Mary and that made the referee stops the fight! Wow, Gonzo will have a headache for a week! Rastila is really close to the top and might get a title shot soon!

As you can see, if you read the entire review, we had some good fights! The new guys delivered and fought well. Not to mention Rondo and Rastila that make a point tonight, saying they are ready to fight in the top! We also had McDonald once again nailing the KO of the night and getting a show for the title! Bottom line, despite of the ratings, there is no regrets. Once again you guys proved that you want it! There is a lot to come this year so stay tuned and give your best in training because hard work will pay off!

See ya :)

Galaxy 7: Stairway To Heaven Preview!

Oh, Stairway to heaven is such a peaceful song. But the Stairway To Heaven event will be a brutal bloodbath! We have some avid fighters seeking the top with such a hunger that makes me wonder if this event will be the best! For that, we have in the main event Sandoval versus Shamrock fighting to see how will be the next challenger of the bantamweight division! Not to mention some other interesting fights on the card! But don’t get dazed yet because now starts the Galaxy 7: Stairway To Heaven Preview!

Dominickoy ‘’The Natural Born Killer’’ Crocop vs Imperial XinZhao

In our first fight we have a rematch between Crocop vs XinZhao. When they were both young and have to fight in QFC so they could have their daily bread, Crocop knocked out XinZheo in only 72 seconds! XinZhao is in theory is the better striker but Crocop is better balanced and has this victory before! Will XinZhao gets his revenge or Crocop will prove once again that hard working can beat the best? I can’t wait to see that!

Alvin ‘’Comer Fora’’ Alfresco vs ‘’The Mighty’’ Khan Fierce

I wonder if Alfresco’s manager knows that ‘’comer fora’’ means ‘’eat outside’’. But that’s not the point! These freshman fighters are here to prove they can achieve the next level! Both these guys seem evenly match on the feet and on the ground. Alfresco has one fight and won in 18 seconds by an armbar. Fierce has also a fight in his career but was KO in the first round. No predictions here. Everything can happen on this fight!

David ‘’The Whip’’ Eng vs Ryan ‘’Ryu’’ Sands

Eng debuted in his MMA career with a loss by decision but now he wants to come around and use his boxing skills to beat Sands! Sands is a wrestler debuting in the MMA. Eng has the power to score a knockout here but as soon as Sands drag the fight to the mat he is in big trouble! Will Eng be able to tame his opponent or will Sands prove himself worth of his nickname? Whatever happens here I bet it won’t last one round!

Jim ‘’The Gentleman’’ Johnson vs ‘’Iron Fist’’ Gabriel Odonnell

For the light heavyweight division we have Johnson, an average boxer and wrestler trying to get his second victory in his career. Odonnell has already fought for Galaxy FC but lost by decision in a tough fight. These guys are pretty even but Odonnell has the edge on the feet while Johnson has the edge on the ground. It will be a close fight and if someone here manages to finish this fight, he should be very proud!

Erik ‘’Nova’’ Gustafsson vs Mike ‘’The Pickey’’ ONeil

In another freshman fight we have Gustafsson, a grappler that holds a BJJ purple belt. He has 1 victory in his career and he will be facing ONeil! ONeil has a good boxing and a decent ground game. He has an even record of 1-1 and his lost came by a submission. ONeil is probably eager to score knockout but if the fight goes to the ground I think he will had another sub lost in his cartel.

Carlos ‘’The Last Samurai’’ Miranda vs ‘’Bones’’ John Jones

Opening the main card, Miranda is a well rounded fighter and he has 2 wins in his career. Jones is a bit more experienced since he has 4 fights in his record with 3 victories. He is a muay thai fighter that has a decent ground game. Miranda will probably look to take the fight to the ground even it’s a close match. On the feet, Jones should have a larger advantage over his opponent. Will Jones incorporate his homonymous and score a knockout? This is the type of fight you can’t miss!

Chris Newton vs Konan ‘’Keylock’’ Kosta

In this battle of the undefeated, we have in one corner Newton, an average striker with a record of 2 victories. In the other corner we have Kosta, a grappler with a victory in his cartel. Although Newton is the striker here, one of his victories was by a submission! Does that worry Kosta? I don’t think so! On the ground he should have what it takes to get a victory as long as he doesn’t get knocked out while they are standing up!

‘’Gladiator’’ Will Boulks vs John ‘’Dope’’ Pope

In a traditional battle of striker versus grappler we have Boulks, a good grappler that holds a purple belt in BJJ. He has a record of 4-1 and all his victories were by submission in the first round! Pope is a good striker with a negative record of 2-3. Although the bad record he won his last two fight. Both by decision though. These guys seem very good in their area but mostly useless in the other. If Pope doesn’t get a quick knockout, Boulks will get a takedown and finish this fight quickly. If this fight last one round I’ll be really surprised!

‘’Razor’’ Robbie Robertson vs ‘’Kazaam’’ Hakim Jabbar

In the co-main event we have a battle of experienced guy. Robertson is a good boxer with an average ground game. He has a record of 6-4 and all his victories were by KO. His last fight only last 5 seconds! This guy is nasty! Jabbar is a striker and have fought 30 times already! But only came out of the octagon victorious 12 times which is pretty bad. If this fight stays in the feet, we will have a nice stand and bang showdown! But if Robertson wants to fight wisely, as soon as he drags the fight to the mat, he should get a quick finish!

‘’The Kid’’ Joseph Sandoval vs ‘’Irish’’ Nick Shamrock

In the main event we have the bantamweight title eliminator to see who will be the next contender of the division! Sandoval is an excellent striker and also has good wrestling skills. He has a record of 8-5 and he already won Coughlan, the current challenger of the title! Shamrock is a good well rounded fight and he has already fought 42 times in his MMA career! He was the former FCFC champion and fought for the title a bunch of times in LFC and event attempted once to be a champion at VERSUS! But after that his career took a bad turn and he lost more than he won but now he is seeking a fresh life in Galaxy FC and what’s best to do it with a contender fight? Sandoval is definitely the better striker here and has a 96% of takedowns stuffed with is pretty amazing! Shamrock needs badly to take this fight to the ground or otherwise he will be knocked out cold! This has everything to be one of the best fights in Galaxy FC history! I can not express how thrilled I am for this fight! How about you?

So guys, are you feeling peacefully as the song suggests or enraged as this event suggests? We have some freshman eager to show us how bad they want to grow on the org. We also have some respected names here wanting to prove they can reach the top! Man, this event will be heavenly! Ok, that was terrible. But what matter is that we will see some bloody fights that have the potential to break the event ratings record! If I were you I wouldn’t miss it for a thing!

See ya :)

Galaxy 7: Stairway To Heaven Review!

Some guys doesn’t need a stairway to heaven, they need a stairway to the hospital! We get a 97 event ratings and sold out again! Once again we had some brutal KO that made the fans go nuts! Among the great fights we had, I’d like to point out Boulks that is pretty close to a fight for the title and Sandoval, who is now eligible to fight for the bantamweight title. But that’s not all! Galaxy 7: Stairway To Heaven Review! Has much more!

Dominickoy ‘’The Natural Born Killer’’ Crocop vs Imperial XinZhao

The last time these guys face each other, Crocop took a little more than 1 minute to finish the fight. Did he do it again? In a few seconds of few he lands a huge head kick almost knocking XinZhao out! He rushed into mount with strikes but he didn’t manage to finish the fight. Back on their feet, they had a close match until the round ends but that initial knockdown gave the round to Crocop. On the second round, XinZhao gets a takedown but quickly get back up, what was he thinking? The round continued with both guys exchanging until the end. XinZhao landed more strikes but Crocop were more aggressive? This round could go either way! In the last round Crocop started a little better but XinZhao knew he had to do something here so he began to throw more solid strikes. He came on top this round but that’s it! That second round is what will decide who will be victorious. By split decision, Crocop was ruled the winner! Great fight! Couldn’t be more close and these guys didn’t disappoint! Crocop should be very happy right now! In the other hand, XinZhao lost again to him and now has already lost 2 times in Galaxy FC!

Alvin ‘’Comer Fora’’ Alfresco vs ‘’The Mighty’’ Khan Fierce

Fierce is a striker fighting against a grappler and his first move was a takedown! Facepalm for him! Since he get it into mount he manage to survived for a minute but when Alfresco finally get full guard, he made Fierce tap out with a guillotine! Poor gameplan from Fierce today. Alfresco now has 2 victories in his career, both by sub in the first round. This kid has future!

David ‘’The Whip’’ Eng vs Ryan ‘’Ryu’’ Sands

The fight begins with Sands getting an early takedown but a few seconds later he decided to standup! He did that to try a few more takedowns and again get one but this time he gets it into full mount! A few seconds later he goes for an Arm Triangle an put his opponent to slip! Wow, awesome finish here for Sands and a very good debut in his MMA career!

Jim ‘’The Gentleman’’ Johnson vs ‘’Iron Fist’’ Gabriel Odonnell

This fight was odd. Johnson should be the better fighter on the ground while Odonnell should try to keep on the feet but what we saw was Odonnell going for takedowns, not even trying to land a single strike. Meanwhile Johnson was beating the crap of him! After a minute, Johnson throws a solid jab that rocked Odonnell! A few seconds later he dropped his opponent with a big right hand! Wow, Odonnell was really bad! A nice uppercut put Odonnell out of his misery with a great knockout! Wow, this guy is nasty! Can believe he didn’t win KO of the night! Now he has 2 victories with KOs in thr first round. Odonnell has a terrible record of 1-5 now. Ouch!

Erik ‘’Nova’’ Gustafsson vs Mike ‘’The Pickey’’ ONeil

In this welterweight bout we had extremely mixed fight. Gustafsson is the better grappler here and in order to get a takedown he opted to clinch first but all the time the fight was on the clinch nothing happen or Gustafsson failed in a takedown attempt. But he score 4 takedowns during the fight and while there, he didn’t do much either. Thankfully, on the feet, ONeil demonstrate some good boxing skills when he landed 40 of 47 punches! It wasn’t enough to get a knockout but he did get a 30-27 UD victory! A solid victory for ONeil here.

Carlos ‘’The Last Samurai’’ Miranda vs ‘’Bones’’ John Jones

Right after the bell rings, Jones put in practice his plan to clinch that allowed him to dominate the fight. Miranda also helped him a lot. When they break the clinch, Miranda rushed to clinch again! Man, this guy enjoys to be beaten up. What a masochist! Miranda eventually scored a takedown in both the first and the second round but the fight didn’t last much there. In the beginning of the third round, Jones connects a series of punches, rocking Miranda. Right after on the clinch, Jones lands a series of knees that make the referee stop the fight! What a brutal victory here! These guys won the fight of the night awards. Jones performance was above the average and I bet some guys now look at him with respect!

Chris Newton vs Konan ‘’Keylock’’ Kosta

Newton came to the fight very aggressive and sharp. In less than a minute he scored a knockdown that almost finish the fight. He keeps hitting hard his opponent but Kosta manages to get a savior takedown. Kosta was tired so Newton manages to sweep and were back on the feet. A few more good strikes from Newton but another takedown and it stay there until the end of the round. In the first half of the round Newton continues with his striking dominance until Kosta score one more takedown. But this time, after recover full guard, Newton goes for a guillotine and he gets it! Oh, man, he takes that sub out of the pocket! I didn’t see that coming! What a surprise end here. I couldn’t expect less from Newton. This guy will go far!

‘’Gladiator’’ Will Boulks vs John ‘’Dope’’ Pope

Pope moved the fight into clinch in the first moves and he beat the crap out of Boulks. Elbow after elbow while he stuffed his takedowns. At the end, he landed 30 elbows out of 31 and stuffed 11 takedowns from Boulks. Very impressive! But then, after going out of the clinch, Boulks scored a takedown. He didn’t see very effective on the top but a few seconds to the end of the round he goes for an armbar and gets it with only 2 seconds remaining on the clock! Wow, he couldn’t be more precise than that! Next step for Boulks is to fight to be the next contender of the lightweight division. This guy finished all his fight in the first round! Man, he has some huge potential!

‘’Razor’’ Robbie Robertson vs ‘’Kazaam’’ Hakim Jabbar

This could be a really nice striking match but all Jabbar did was go for takedowns, which fits horribly in his gameplan! With that, he left the path open for Robertson that used his boxing skills to win. First he landed a huge right hand that rocked Jabbar! Then he connects a few good punches until he delivers a right cross knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the nearby fans! What a brutal KO! It’s no surprise that he nailed the KO of the night! If he wanted to make a statement today, he did it! Now he is at the top of his division an might be fighting for the title soon!

‘’The Kid’’ Joseph Sandoval vs ‘’Irish’’ Nick Shamrock

The fight started and Sandoval gets a clinch. After that he dominated the entire round with punches, elbow and knees. Shamrock was lost in the clinch. By the first minute and a half, Sandoval landed a vicious knee in Shamrock’s jaw that almost finished the fight but he survived. The second round starts and bang! A huge overhand from Sandoval drops Shamrock and he need just a few more strikes to make the referee jumps and save Shamrock! Wow, this guy has some heavy hand! Sandoval is the next contender of the bantamweight division but it all depends of his manager.

I’ve got to say, we have some good fights today and some great knockout too! This was our last weekend event on The Underground, next weekend event will be at Hayashi’s Lounge that has the double of sits! Not to mention we will have 3 title fights! But that’s still to come. Here in Galaxy 7 once again everybody did great! Especially the new guys, even if they come with some crazy set of sliders! Also congratulations to Boulks, Robertson and Sandoval that are pretty close to fight for the title! That’s all, folks!

See ya

Galaxy 8: Darkside Of The Moon Preview!

Before you ask, this preview can’t be read simultaneously as the album or the Wizard of Oz movie unless you’re smoking some weed right now. But leaving the mysterious part aside, we will have some great fights. Marshal versus Skins might worth a title show in the lightweight division. There is also Adams against Christopher. A clash of heavyweight strikers! But there is no time to waste. Now starts the Galaxy 8: Darkside Of The Moon Preview!

Frankie ‘’The Furz’’ Furzon vs Dan ‘’The Joker’’ Torres

Both this guys fought for Galaxy FC and lost. Furzon had a tough match where he was dominated the entire fight on the ground and end up losing by UD. Torres didn’t last a round and lost by TKO. Now these guys want to prove they can overcome their bad result. For that, Torres has to use his excellent boxing to knockout his opponent. Furzon is a well rounded fighter and should be looking to take the fight to the ground. Both of these guys performance didn’t speak to me yet but I bet we will have a good fight!

Denis Opal vs ‘’Body Fat’’ Paul Thomas

For the second time, Thomas is having a rematch against a guy he fought in 2010! Wow, this guy has history! But in his last vendetta, he didn’t last much in Guy’s hands and now he has a 7 loss streak! Opal isn’t that bad but he lost his 2 last fights. But none of that matters! These guys are well rounded fighters equally even so anything can happen in this fight! I bet you won’t even be able to breathe during the fight because of the intensive action! I’m really pumped for it!

Marcus ‘’Hammer’’ Hanson vs Xavier Sin

Once again we have a fight between two guys that lost in their debut in Galaxy FC. Hanson was quickly submitted and Sin lost by decision in a crazy fight. Both of these guys are strikers but Hanson likes to clinch. How Sin will behave about that? Hanson also recently got a blue belt but I don’t think this fight will go to the ground. Hanson has the tools to score a knockout in the clinch. However, this fight is pretty even on the feet. Sin might be in a bad spot here. If he loses for the third time in 3 fights he better be on the run! And maybe find a more suitable job!

Nes Quick vs Trefor ‘’The Tank’’ Thomas

We finally have a guy who won last fight! Thomas put a show in his last fight against Mubarak and got a solid UD victory! I can’t say the same thing for Quick. He was brutally knocked out in only 26 seconds! Quick has the better ground game while Thomas is the better striker but the interesting thing to point out here is that Quick is in terrible shape! If he goes to the fight like that he won’t last much again! Time to recover is the key here. If he doesn’t rest, he will be an easy prey for Thomas!

Greg McDonald vs Sekhmakh ‘’The Macabre’’ Mubarak

McDonald is a newcomer. He is a proficient striker and has a record of 2 victories and both by KO! Mubarak is a proficient boxer and wrestler. He is also a veteran with 15 fights and in his first fight for Galaxy FC he lost by decision. This fight is very interesting! I would give McDonald the edge in the feet but I won’t be surprised if Mubarak scores a KO! But the key to the victory here for him is to drag the fight to the ground where he should be the better fighter. This fight has the potential to be the great gig in the sky! I mean, in the event! So don’t miss that!

‘’Sme’’ Shawn Kowalski vs Geroge ‘’Gorgeous’’ Davis

Kowalski is debuting for the org. He is a good boxer with decent ground skills and has a record of 4-2. Davis lost his fight in Galaxy FC by decision where he showed a lot of heart and survived until the end! But nothing else. Kowalski only has 1 KO in 8 fights. I bet he wants badly to score one in this event. Davis, in the other hand, should try constantly to get a takedown. This fight is pretty close so I would bet any of my money here!

Simon ‘’Quick’’ Sands vs Emil ‘’Pretty boy’’ Gustafsson

In the battle of the British against the horde of the Gustafsson invaders that are proliferating in Galaxy FC, we have Sands defending the Queen’s side. He is a well rounded fighter with a victory in his career and it was by KO! The Swede is a proficient muay thai fighter with a decent ground game. He also has a victory in his career but it was by decision. Gustaffson is the better striker here so Sands should look to take the fight to the ground in order to win. In this battle of us and them, we definitely gonna see a war!

‘’Sergeant’’ Douglas Wilkes vs Alexander ‘’The Mauler’’ Gustafsson

Continuing the battle against the Gustafssons, we have Wilkes, a wrestler with 2 decision wins in his career. This Gustafsson is a good boxer with an average ground game and he has a record of 4-2. It’s a common striker versus grappler fight but both guys are not finishers. Wiles like to endlessly beat their opponents while Gustafsson had an only one KO victory in 6 fights. But none of that matters because even they are not finishers, they fight to kill and I bet they will paint the octagon red or any colour you like! This fight will be great!

Eliah Marshal vs Tony Skins

In the co-main event of the evening, we have a possible title eliminator fight! Marshal is an exceptional wrestler with an undefeated record of 5 wins! He is going to fight against Skins a well rounded fighter with a terrible cartel of 15-28! From his 15 wins, none were by KO and 8 were by subs so, we should see a grappling fight here! Although Skins has a better BJJ belt and is more experienced, I think Marshal will put his wrestling skills to work and beat so much his opponent that he will have to go to the hospital with some brain damage! But let’s not put the cart before the horse. It’s a tough fight and anything can happen!

Lawrence ‘’The Gorilla’’ Adams vs ‘’Frankford Slashes’’ Leonard Christopher

I can’t tell you how much I’m thrilled for this fight! These guys are strikers and they are hunger for a KO! Adams was given a title shot last fight but lost via submission in the first round. This was his first lost in his career and he didn’t show us the excellent striker he is. But now he will face Christopher, also an excellent boxer with a record of 3-1. In his last fight, he only took 26 seconds to KO his opponent and score the KO of the night! I bet the KO of the night lies here! If this fight last one round I’ll be really surprised because they will beat each other so hard that their heads will get swollen to the point to create an eclipse by covering the spotlights! This fight is gonna be awesome!

I hope some Pink Floyd fan unveil what I miserably try to do with the preview. Most of the card is filled with rookies but I bet they will do great. The veterans here have tough fights. We might have a lightweight contender and the main event, bringing two deadly strikers, can’t go wrong! This is our second last preview, so enjoy with moderation!

See ya :)

Galaxy 9: Champions Preview!

We come a long way but we are finally here. This event will be the first of many epic events. It has 3 title fights! Yes, we will have 3 new champions! It can’t get better than that! I bet everybody will give their best and we will have the best event in the history of Galaxy FC! And that’s enough reason to you read the entire Galaxy 9: Champions Preview! and blow your mind!

Liam ‘’The Phenom’’ Lawrence vs Beni Hasan

Lawrence is a boxer and has a BJJ purple belt. He has a bad 3 loss streak. In his debut in Galaxy FC he was knocked out in the first round and now has a record of 4-4. Hasan is BJJ fighter with a brown belt. He is debuting in Galaxy FC and has a negative record of 1-2. Hasan is the better fighter in the ground while Lawrence is the better striker but in his 4 victories, he never scored a knockout! But that may not be a problem since Hasan, in both his losses, he was submitted! So don’t be surprised if you see Lawrence getting a sub here. No predictions from my parts here!

Kamil Burczynski vs Renzo Alves

Both this guys have one victory in their record. Kamil won an amazing fight were he submitted his opponent in the last round in the first Galaxy FC event and nailed the fight of the night awards! Alves had a tough fight and won by decision. Both these guys are ground fighters. Kamil is a BJJ brown belt while Alves has exceptional wrestler so the fight is pretty even here! On the feet, Kamil has better skills and should have the edge here. So the best thing to do is kepp the fight stand and strike but I bet he won’t be able to defend Alves takedowns so we should see an amazing grappling fight! I can’t wait for that!

Henley ‘’The Henchman’’ Harris vs ‘’The Glasgow Phenom’’ Michael MacRoberts

Both guys are newcomers. Harris is BJJ fighter with a record of 10-8 where 9 of his victories were by submission! MacRoberts is another Glaswegian here trying to make success in Galaxy FC. He is an excellent boxer with an average ground game. His horrible record of 6-12 might disincentive some people but I bet he’ll do fine. A knockout for MacRoberts or a submission for Harris? Make your bets!

Tommy ‘’Bane’’ Riordan vs Antonio Braga

Riordan almost fight for the title but end up losing in a surprising way in his debut for Galaxy FC. Braga debuted in his career and in Galaxy FC with a quick submission in the first round. Riordan is an excellent while Braga is a BJJ fighter with a brown belt so we should see a good grappling fight here. Since Riordan has better skills on the feet, from my point of view, he should keep the fight standing. Especially after been submitted by a blue belt in his last fight! So, if the fight goes to the ground, I bet Braga will again nail a quick sub!

Adolf Jakobsen vs Damian Dziku

Jakobsen has already 2 fights for Galaxy FC and won both of them. Dziku fought in the epic Doomsday event and won by decision. This is a classic striker versus grappler fight. While Jakobsen has a purple belt and can quickly finish the fight if it goes to the ground, Dziku can also score a knockout although in his two victories ended both by decision. Unfortunately, Jakobsen now is in very bad shape so if he doesn’t rest, Dziku should get an easy win. Will he be able to rest up? I hope so!

Mickey Felipe vs Chris ‘’Guns’’ Godley

In his last fight, he lost the chance to fight for the title when he lost by decision to Cave. Godley, on the other hand, won in an amazing battle where he finished other brown belt in the third round. This victory gave him the fight and the sub of the night of that event! Felipe is a well rounded fighter so he should have the advantage on the feet but if Godley fights the same way he fought before, he could as well score another great submission! I think Felipe is better overall but anything can happen so keep a close eye here!

Jeff ‘’Nightmare’’ Dahmer vs Dan ‘’The Man’’ Swanson

Dahmer is debuting in Galaxy FC. He is a BJJ fighter with a brown belt and he has a record of 3-1. All his victories were by submission. Swanson fought in Galaxy 3 and won by KO in the first round. He is a good boxer and KO his opponent in the first round in his both victories. Both these guys are finishers and have opposite styles. I bet this fight won’t last a round but it will end with a knockout by Swanson or a submission by Dahmer? I can’t wait to see that!

Ivan Drakkar vs Power Ranger Green

In the first title fight of the night, for the Middleweight division, we have Drakkar. He is a striker with a record of 10-6. In his last fight, he only took a round to KO his opponent and ear this title shot! Power Ranger Green is also a striker with a record of 7-6. In his last fight he scored a knockout in the end of the second round and now he is fighting for the title! Although both of these guys are strikers, Drakkar has exceptional muay thai while Green has exceptional boxing. Which style will win the fight? There is also the possibility of the fight goes to the ground since they are also very equal there and Green has already 2 submission victories in his career. What I can say is, whoever won the fight, the belt will be in good hands!

Andrew ‘’Test’’ Martin vs Casey Ryback

For the almighty heavyweight title we have Martin, he is a BJJ fighter with a record of 9-8. In his last fight, he finished his opponent in the first round so he could be here fighting for the title. Ryback is a well rounded fighter with a record of 4-2. He amazingly won his last fight with a quick knockout in the first round when he earned a shot for the title and the KO of the night! Martin is the more experienced fighter here and also the better skilled. They are both better on the ground but Martin has a better BJJ belt so he should have the edge here. Ryback already prove he is a good striker and has some KO power in his hands so I think he will stand and bang in this fight. The heavyweight division is by far the hardest division in Galaxy FC so, whoever wins, not only will get the belt but also will earn the title of badass fighter of the org!

‘’The Bad Seed’’ Nick Cave vs ‘’The Panzer’’ Ramstein Rommel

In the main event, we will have the light heavyweight title. In one corner we have Cave, an exceptional striker with a record of 7-2. In his last fight he nailed a solid decision win against Felipe. In the other corner we have Rommel, an excellent striker with a good ground game. He has a record of 6-1 and in his last fight he got a surprising submission in the first round. Although they are both strikers, Cave is by far the better so Rommel should be looking once again to get a finish in the ground. If he decides to stand and bang, Cave should probably get a KO here! Both these guys are vicious and there couldn’t be better contenders to become the first light heavyweight champion of Galaxy FC history!

I have no doubt this event will be the greatest so far in Galaxy FC history! We will be crowning 3 new champions and that is huge! I’m very excited for this event and I bet all of you will deliver some awesome fights! So, mark this day on your calendar and don’t miss it for a thing because it’s going to be legen wait for it dary!

See ya :)
