damndaniel
Hey everyone. Starting this thread so managers can give a bio or career summary for their favorite fighter that they have managed. Active for retired, new users and vets. Who is your favorite fighter on your roster or in your HOF? Why? What were some big moments? Biggest wins? Toughest Losses? Last fight, next fight coming up? Anything else about the fighter please feel free to share. Name, age, division, fight style, and record? Im only a few months into the game but here his my favorite fighter so far. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15811100423920.png http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=358572 Captain Jack Sparrow 23yo 135lbs division Submission Wrestling 7-0 MMA Record (All first round finishes) Sparrow started his MMA career in London, entering QFC Tournament 953. He ran through the competition, and although he is only a blue belt in BJJ, he dominated a purple belt in a ground battle in the finals, getting a TKO at the very end of the first round. Sparrow then joined Hardcore Fighting Championship in NYC. He took on another QFC tournament winner with a 5-0 record in his debut match. He quickly submitted him in under 2 minutes. HFC then merged with SMASH FC, moving the organization to Montreal, where Sparrows next two fights would take place. HIs next opponent was a Brown Belt with a 4-1 record. To spite being only a blue belt, Sparrow took the fight to the ground immediately, and pounded on his opponent for almost the entire fight, eventually getting the TKO late in round 1, and avoiding being submitted even after giving up his back briefly during the fight. In his next fight, Sparrow took on a kick boxer with a 1-4 record. Sparrow got the stoppage in 2 min and 30 sec. Now, still in his 1st year, with a 7-0 record, all first round finishes, and only 20 min and 29 seconds of total cage time, Sparrow looks to continue to build his record and gain more experience. His next fight is against hard hitting Italian boxer Lorenzo Bataglia (5-1) at HFC KO 2 on 4-25-20. Sparrow is my favorite fighter for a few reason, he is based off one of my favorite movie characters, he won me 30 days VIP in the QFC tournament, and he has won fights that I didn't expect him to win. When he not only beat, but dominated a ground fight with a purple belt and then did the same thing to a brown belt, thats when I realized he was my best fighter. With a late start at 23yo, I don't know how far his career will go, but very proud so far.
popart
Cool thread man, would be cool to see ol' Jack Sparrow pop up in the fighter interviews section. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15670307062047.gif My favorite current fighter is Bubba Randall. Nothing special about him, a 25 year old build and frankly has weak hiddens, but i'm trying to make him the first (?) fighter in tycoon history to fight in every single weight class, from 135 to 265+. His next fight is at 205, so only two more fights left for this big guy before I call it a wrap. He's spent his whole career at Madness MMA, and it's been awesome to work with Butch Harris. I'm sure it's a bit of a pain to keep tabs on a certain guy, give him a one fight contract at each weight class, and renew after every fight, but Butch has been awesome about it. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15777147772872.jpeg My best fighter at the moment is Dewey Decimal. Not too much about him is special, but good hiddens and the best home grown record on my roster at 7-2. Looking for that Madness Bantamweight title. Hoping I don't fuck up his career too bad. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15408555304305.jpg Honorable mention to my first ever character, Arlo Rochester. Absolutely trash hiddens, absurdly slow learner and spent most of his career in a public gym but I loosely based him off of myself and I wasn't ready to give up on him. I'm amazed I even managed to get him to 5-5. Still, he was my first "character" and I had a blast building his character through buzz and his interview thread.
