Highjack lands a big head kick that sends Sackett tumbling to the mat! Highjack takes a step backwards and waves Sackett back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sackett is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Highjack.
Sackett throws a nice looking combination but Highjack bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Highjack throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sackett looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Sackett tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Highjack manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Highjack displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sackett throws out the jab.
A low kick from Sackett misses
and Highjack connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The Rise of the Exiled.

This isn't going to be your stereotypical story of the nice guy who overcame the odds and became a champion. This is not a happy tale of morale and lesson and protagonists growing and learning and becoming better people.

"I am not a good person."

This is what he told me when we had our first heart to heart. This is the most honest thing I learned when I first talked in-depth with Remi Highjack. What I learned when he told me his story was... This world is filled with bad people. It's entrenched with horrid environments and situations that make you want to cry. I cried when I heard his story and I immediately understood, no one could suffer what Highjack has and not have his identity and humanity melted away.

Remi Highjack's birth remains a mystery to him even to this day. All he knows is that his mother was the mistress of a married man in the UK. They were supposedly madly in love (or so she thought) until the day she told him she was pregnant, when she dropped the bombshell he dropped her like she was a piece of garbage. He wasn't a complete scumbag though, he left her enough cab fare to get to the next town. Distraught and alone she made her way from town to town looking for a place to call her own. Desperate to mend things with her fleeing lover she looked him up and found out his name and identity was a fake. All she could manage to find of his indentity was a name, Cadarn. However, her search ended there as her mother soon passed away leaving her jobless and without family.

Alone and 9 months pregnant she made her way across Europe and eventually found a cheap affordable place somewhere in North Africa. She spent the rest of her life being used, thrown away and used again and Remi spent his childhood pretending his life wasn't absolute shit. When he was 9 years old he saw his mother murdered before his very eyes and even worse, he had know choice to but to rely on her killer to live, to eat, to survive. He spent his next few years fighting on the streets for survival before the guy got himself killed in a drug deal. After receiving beatings from this man daily for years he only managed a smile when he heard the gunshot and saw him drop.

He spent the next few years on corners selling drugs to afford the fees to train in the local MMA gym. He never did tell me where all this took place and I can only imagine life on these streets were awful.

When he was 16 he was taken in by a Russian tycoon manager and brought in to train in his gyms. What should of been the happiest years of his life turned to ash in his mouth as he discovered his manager was in fact a multi and trying to sell him penis cream. Needless to say what little trust he had was broken again and he took off to the streets.

It wasn't too long before a strange fellow named Bwang took him in and decided to throw him into a fight to see what he got. He wasn't ready tho and he got submitted in the first round. Despite many people commenting on his granite chin Bwang decided he wasn't learning fast enough and once again Remi was left without a home. Another strike against his confidence but soon the world found out his confidence could not be shattered.

This is when I ran into this young man. What I encountered on the free agency market was an angry, hostile savage young man with wild eyes and dreads for days. I knew immediately that this kid was gonna be a killer but it was up to me whether he was "killing" people in the cage or killing people in the streets. So I started training him and this kid's fire just got strong and stronger. This kid was like a demon from hell sent for vengeance for all the pain he has suffered. This is what I feel when I see him fight. They once said Mike Tyson fights angry but Remi Highjack... He fights with a fury that cannot be tamed.

Once unleashed Highjack has lead a path of destruction through the rankings of the Tycoon world. His path went uncontested until he was granted a title shot against Troid Light Heavyweight champion, Flagon Sackett. I immediately advised him against it, Flagon was just too experience and too prime while Remi was still learning. The kid wouldn't hear it tho, he was clearly out-skilled but he didn't blink and he walked into that fight looking for a KO. He lost the fight when Flagon's skills and experience was just too much for the young Highjack. In his next fight he abandoned all strategy and wildly looked to KO his opponent ignoring all advice from me, he failed and left himself open for a TKO loss which shocked his fan base.

It was after all this that me and him really sat down and he told me his story. I told him to trust me and reluctantly he put his career and training in my hands. Since then he has destroyed both of the men who beat them and has now devastated everyone in his path to becoming the 7th ranked 205lbs fighter in the world and ranked 38th P4P. At 26 this fighter is clearly the future and his anger, his fury, his vengeance is just waiting to be unleashing through every punch, every knee, every kick. Remi Highjack will be the best fighter in the world, I have no doubts about that.

He may have a big mouth but unlike others he has backed up his talk with his power every step of the way. Everyone wants a piece of the Exiled because they know he is the future. Everyone wants a crack at the future kingpin of the 205lber... but all they are doing is walking into the pits of Hell.

Remi Highjack is hype personified. The number 1 manager Duphus had two tries against him and failed, when Bowser was the number 1 manager in the world he had a shot at him and failed. Who's next?

The Trinity 205lbs title of course... but after that?

Who knows...

Only thing we know for sure is hell-fire is ravaging the roads ahead and this hell-fire is called Highjack.

Sorry Steel I had all these plans for a write up but with my wife's gma in the hospital it has been a very stressful and emotional week for everyone in the family so it wouldn't of been right to sit down and write I felt. Not that I would of been in a creative move anyways. Anyways, thanks for taking the fight... Surprised it wasn't close but it looks like I caught you going damage this time. People see those 4 KOs and underestimate Highjack's chin. All 4 of those losses had more to do with being outclassed in sliders and being gassed than his chin.

Yeah that is a huge problem for him going forward since most of his opponents from here on out will have have good/granite level chins. Same problem Flagon Sackett had, I would still think acc vs a granite chin would be more effective. Going damage when unlikely to finish just means being more open to counters or gassing like Ragnar did where he ended up letting Highjack tee off on him. I mean sure there's counter damage but acc/agg can murder that and leave him with another cut loss.

I had 30 fights under the management of Ryan Epicty and then the dick left me in the gutter for nearly a year again.

After all I had gone through already, I couldn't believe that he would put me in that same situation again.

In a funny turn of events, Bjorn O'Donnel picked me up from the gutter and plans on helping me out.
Rumors go around that he is a dick in his own way as well, so not sure what to expect.
He didn't even find an elite gym for me to prepare for my possible return to the MMA-scene.... bastard!

So anyone who can help me find an elite gym to train at, that would be a fantastic act of kindness and much appreciated!

Should that happen, then I'll be prepping myself to take over the 205lbs division within the year.
