It seems to be to much of a specialisation, there are not really enough fighters to run a well organised league with hype building and enough fighters to built it up as an ID restriction.

I fear the same way grapplers will go, you struggle a lot at the beginning with a restricted ID to make fair matches, have enough fighters, and build up good hype.

It is a shame. I was not happy to close Rise KT, but I had no idea the difference of running a KT org. I know there's been discussions on it and I can only hope its addressed if it is something that is going to stick around.

If the sudden close of Rise KT affected you, I apologize. When I picked it up I truly wanted to make it a success. Hopefully some changes get made to improve this part of the game experience.

I didn't know there was a big difference in running a KT org from running an MMA org, but it seems like there is. Thanks for picking it up and trying something new also. :)

What were the differences mate? I was half thinking of starting a couple of divisions but not if it's that much of a pain

Tycoon tools event helper doesn't work for KT events. Also, dunno if it is fixed, but before most fighters started with 0 KT hype and it was hard to build some hype up.

ovoxo summed up the event differences. The formula for MMA does not apply and it doesn't sound like much has been learned on the best way to run these events. Even the top KT org struggles for profits.

The other main difference I noticed was recruiting. Currently we have no idea if a fighter is made for KT or MMA or Grappling. We can only guess based off the primaries. Many contracts get returned saying "He's an MMA fighter". This makes the already difficult task of recruiting down right frustrating. I know Mentor has an idea to fix this, but nothing is done yet.

The way this game is geared it is extra effort to run a KT org. Changes need to be made, in particular to how the search works for recruiting to simplify that part of the game, I had a pretty good proposal made for this issue but it seems very few additions are making it to the game as of late. If Mike does not want a complex solution, the easiest thing should be to have a box people can tick when creating a fighter, you can even do this when you create the fighter on that page, tick the damn box and end of story, KT will have a chance. There is obviously more complex solutions as well, but this is the easy one.

Back in the days I think I have cracked the advertisement and arena seats formula on some excel spreadsheet, but you had to type fighter KT hype and pop manually, dunno if I still keep it though.

Ah the old spread sheet days. Yes, I had one as well, but its on my old dead computer ;). If you find the spreadsheet, I'd love a copy of it

Agreed. That sounds like a simple solution that would go a long way in reducing the frustration of recruiting
