Yes that is right folks, after much deliberation, many hours contemplating the itch has returned!! And with that I have joined forces with Beau Banks to revive the once famous, storied and King of the Sydney Fight Scene, AXF!! Sydney's chosen son has officially made his return and he plans on make it a successful return! Still under discussion is whether this venture will be a restricted Org or if we will open the doors to any and all who wish to take part. We have a growing 260K ID Featherweight division as is and we plan on maintaining that and building on its already talented fighters, and over the coming days Beau and I will discuss which direction we want to take the remainder of the divisions in our quest to return AXF to the top of the Sydney ladder and one day, like its previous run, a power known and respected throughout the entire Tycoon Global community!!

AXF had a humble beginning back in February of 2010 when a young and new manager to the game decided he had what he felt it would take to take on the role of Org Owner. Even though he had only been playing the game for a short 3 month period, he studied, researched and finally took the plunge. From there this manager built what some might consider one of if not the greatest Fight Companies ever to exist in the city of Sydney, taking AXF from complete unknown to the world stage where fighters from around the world would come to display their talents. It is with this history in mind that we plan on reliving that great history and rebuild not only the company, but hopefully the city as well!!

Please feel free to drop either myself or Beau a quick message if you wish to take part in this journey we expect to be full of adventure!!

Frankie "The Bull" Vercini (260322)

After a not-so-good start to my MMA career, i thought i would hang up my gloves and open up my own Italian restaurant. However, i have decided to postpone my retirement and take a few more fights in Sydney to see if i still have what it takes to compete in the FW divison.

Having all that food around me sure makes it hard for me to cut weight though.....

Ladies and Gentlemen, please allow me to welcome you to the inagural event being held by the recently rebranded company Australian Xtreme Fighting. We come to you live from a sold out Paddy O'Malley's Bar and Grill where a raucus 700 fans are in attendance. AXF has a very rich tradition for many old time Sydney based fighters and managers. Many new comers have jumped on board based on the storied history behind the name "AXF" and we hope to add to that in the coming weeks and months as this company continues to grow and prosper. With all that being said lets get right to the action. In our Main Event of AXF '1 we have a pair of Featherweight combatants looking to move onto the semi finals of our 145 lbs "Sydney Cup" Tourney followed up by another of 4 quarter final matches. Here is a quick run down of what we have in store for you this evening.

Main Event - 145 lbs Miletich vs Vamoosh

Ravi Vamoosh comes into this one riding a stunning 5 fight win streak laying waste to all those who have stood in front of him. Ravi enjoys an over 50% success rate on his takedowns and once on the ground he is money with his vicious ground and pound. Miletich is almost as deadly with the takedowns however he enjoys a more relaxed approach on the ground throwing up sub attempts instead of ground strikes with one win coming via a sub finish and his 2 other victories by way of judges decision.

Co-Main Event - 145 lbs Pounds vs Parmesan

This fight breaks down as another potential ground battle as the superior wrestler Tanner Pounds puts his undeafeated record up against BJJ specialist Gene Parmesan who also holds an unblemished record. We thought our Main event enjoyed a fighter with an amazing success rate for the takedown, but Pounds up until tonight has hit at a whopping 67% on his takedowns and from there is even more lethal with his ground and pound then many his age and at this point in their careers. Once on the ground Pounds is lights out and could prove to be a very formidable foe for Parmesan to handle. Gene much like Pounds is very successful with his takedowns as well as his submissions, and has a slight advantage on the feet, will he look to change it up and stay standing or will he look to catch Pounds off guard with a slick submission?

145 lbs Poggle vs Niemayer

Next up we see a battle that will most certainly be decided on the feet an in much different fashion then our ME and Co-ME. Timothy Poggle is a MT specialist holding a 4-0 record taking on Striker Lukas Niemayer who is also an astounding 4-0. Poggle likes to both strike at range where he appears to go more for accuracy then damage and then work his way into the clinch where he uses his punching power and clinch dominance to work his opponents over. Whats important to remember here folks that as dangerous as Poggle is standing, he also possesses a dangerous GNP game that could be used at any moment. Staring him down on the other side of the cage is TKO specialist Lukas "Holzfaller" Niemayer he preferes to stand and bang, and when he does, his opponents lights go out! Even though his record contains one blemish Lukas is within a moments notice of ending any fight he is taking part in, only ever seeing 0:57 of the second round in his last fight, the first round is generally where he lives up to the attitude of kill or be killed!

145 lbs Huntti vs Harland

In our next matchup we see undefeated Markku "Super Suomalainen" Huntti taking on Zander Harland. Huntti likes to set up his striking with vicious leg and body kicks. He has yet to see action in the clinch or on the ground and we are here saying that will not change on this night. Harland seems to base his offence on going for the takedown with only low percentage success and we do not believe he will get the fight there against Huntti. The only saving grace may be his granite chin that we are sure will get tested on this night.
145 lbs Kennedy vs Quinn

Our final matchup from the "Sydney Cup" sees Brian Kennedy taking on Marcus Quinn. Both these combatants come into action with less stellar win lose records however tonight one man will move on no matter how many wins they had prior. Kennedy is a clinch fighter who likes to make use of his nasty knees however he is left open to possible takedowns and has shown a weak chin. Quinn is a wrestler with a high percentage of success with his ground and pound and it is our belief that is 60% success rate with standing takedowns will get him into a position to grind this one out!

Well folks thats all the time we have but here is a quick listing of our other fights on this action packed event

185 lbs Vladimir Drake v Hans Huber
145 lbs Frankie Vercini v Yay Wee Won
265 lbs James Smith v John Jackson
265 lbs Tinashe Chukwuma v Tom Parish
170 lbs Robert Bruce v Robbie Sanchez

AXF '2 Event Preview Prepared by: Albert Mcshonan

Welcome to AXF 2, the second event of the new, fast rising Organization Australian Xtreme Fighting. The event will take place in Hyashis Lounge in beautiful Sydney, which offers up to 2000 seats for the local MMA fans. This event is brought to you by Australian Xtreme Elite Supplements. Now lets get to the nights fights.

Main Event - 205 lbs Matthews vs. White

Clay "The Bear Hunter" Matthews" comes into this fight after a 26 second finish of his last opponent. The towering California native has won 9 of his 10 victories due to KO or TKO, with one "Fight of the Year" and "Knockout of the Year" under his belt. He has shown educated, heavy hands but also that his kicking reportoire is varied and lethal. "Chief" Walter White boasts a nearly similar record, having finished 9 of 12 opponents and even sporting a 25 second knockout in his last fight. He relies primarily on his powerful punches. Both fighters are prone to cuts as one can tell of their fight history. Neither fighter will look for the takedown and I guess this will be an all out fight and one fighter will go down here.

Co-Main Event - 205 lbs Opdauhl vs. Sheck

In the Co-Main Event we have a rematch between Gary Opdauhl and Roger Sheck. In their first fight, Opdauhl dominated and battered Sheck in all rounds, except for the last part of the second where Sheck got the takedown and worked his aggressive ground game. It was the third that saw Opdauhl first punishing, then dropping and finally finishing the overwhelmed grappler. Dont expect this fight to go differently. Opdauhl comes in this fight with one win, after having received his first loss. Sheck was knocked out in his last fight, not unsimiliar to his fight with Opdauhl, as he seems to have problems with Muay Thai fighters that utilize the clinch effectively. His only chance is an improved ability to get his opponent down, or a submission, either from underneath or on top of his opponent. Gary Opdauhl just has to recreate his clinch heavy gameplan of their last fight to win this.

155 lbs Abi Tural vs. Tobias Wall

This fight sees a Muay Thai fighter vs. a Wrestler who also has the ability to make the fight difficult standing. Tural has an unblemished record, looking to enhance it with a win over the more seasoned Wall. The Azerbaijan native has knocked out almost all of his opponents, always by bullying them in the clinch delivering elbows, knees and punches. He has also shown to be a good counter fighter with dangerous punches, initiating his last win with a left hook. Wall also is a heavy puncher. But more than that, he overwhelms his opponents with his strong wrestling and also threatening them with his powerful, albeit unrefined punches. Each fighter will try to play to his strengths, by either gaining the upper hand in the clinch or by forcing a ground fight.

265+ lbs Dufinbeger vs. Dustup

In our next match, two giants will clash in a battle that will be guaranteed to not last the whole length. Both fighters have an "either finish or be finished" attitude. It is also an rematch which saw Dufinberger nearly finished by Dustup, being dropped twice but he was able to regain his composture and finish with a nice armbar. Dustup clearly looks for revenge in their rematch having nearly tasted victory. Both fighters have suffered knockouts and have dished out quite many themselves, so this will battle see them battle it out again. Neither fighter sports a solid chin or defense. Dufinberger seems to be the better ground fighter, with Dustup being the more proficient wrestler.

265+ lbs Robertson vs. Ara Givi

Next up is another Superheavyweight match, with two equally big men. Robert Robertson lost his last match against Damo Dustup in only 5 seconds. The Nashville native is a true MMA fighter with an active ground game, were he looks to either get a submission or pummel his opponent with ground and pound, and also decent kickboxing skills, utilizing both feet and hands to land counters with. Ara Givi on the contrary is a submission specialist. Every fight he won was finished by him due to cranking his opponents limbs or choking them. He may be a bit limited standing, but once on the ground he will work actively to subdue his enemy either from top or from the bottom. Actually both men fought each other already 2 times, so this is a rubber match, though the fights so far have been dominated by Robertson. Givi has to bring the fight to the ground, or he will be lost and likely beaten again.

185 lbs Gravas vs. Sullivan IV

In our next fight we see the return of a lost son in John L Sullivan IV, who was with AXF way back in 2010. He will come up against another veteran of the sport in Latka Gravas. A kickboxer by trade, he will try to utilize his hefty punches and kicks to counter and eventually floor Sullivan IV. Having shown great conditioning in all his fights he will most likely go with any pace that Sullivan IV will set. "Boston Strong Boy" is a former, multiple division champion and hall of famer of the original AXF. A heavy handed fighter that will most likely pressure his opponent early on. Neither fighter will back down and we will have an all out fight on our hands, with two powerful warriors who will leave it all in the cage. Neither fighter is young anymore and if they have any aspirations on a title they will have to get a string of victories quickly, or the time may run out on them.

155 lbs Maven vs Vega

Another set of veterans will square off in this match. Marcus Maven transformed from solely relying on his boxing in his early years to

develop into a more seasoned kickboxer, mixing punches with kicks but not forgetting his roots. Not the biggest puncher, he has conditioning for days and will most likely set a high pace in this fight. His opponent Steve Vega is a grappler, one that will take every opportunity to submit his foe. He also has improved his standup, relying on his kickboxing and he may be even the more powerful of the two. Both fighters can fight in most positions, be it the clinch, the ground or standing. Vega looks to snap a four fight losing streak here.

145 lbs Holmes vs. Vercini

Next is a typical "grappler vs. striker" match. Mike Holmes is an aggressive boxer who pursues the knockout in his fights. The Canadian has shown a sturdy chin so far and good power to go with it. Problems will arise if his opponent Frankie Vercini, with the suitable nickname "The Bull", gets the fight on the ground. The strong grappler easily controls his opponents on the ground and one opening is enough for him to get the submission. This will be very much decided by whom gets the fight in his comfort zone.

170 lbs Haverford vs Murphy

The next fight is a match between veteran Tom Haverford, a seasoned grappler who also possesses standup skills and rookie Brendan Murphy who will look to get his first win under his belt. Murphy looks promising, boasting strong ground skills which are also complemented by his sturdy knowledge of Muay Thai and Boxing. The aging Murphy looks to snap a 5 fight losing streak. He has to prove that he is more than a stepping stone at this point.

265 lbs Rox vs. Basil

Kicking off the nights card will be two local matadores in Benny Rox and Leroy Basil. Rox has yet to win a fight in his young career, unable to use his boxing roots so far. Though he lost his last fight due to TKO, he has a iron chin. His opponent Basil sports an even record, losing his last fight by KO. The BJJ player Basil will no doubt try to bring this fight to the ground as soon as possible, where he can work his submissions. If the fight stays standing, I see a good chance for Rox to get his first win.

Frankie "The Bull" Vercini (260322)

It's almost time! I stayed back to marvel at the wonders of Sydney and i gotta say it is a beautiful place! I made short work of my opponent and will soon do it again. But then it's back to London to get a proper training camp in before i fight some REAL competition.

Frankie "The Bull" Vercini (260322)

Well well, i gotta say that after a 2-4 start in my career i almost hung my gloves up. But i am sure glad that i decided to give it one more run.

I am happy to have flown down to see the sights of Sydney and be part of the first 2 events of the rebirth of AXF. I know i didn't exactly set the world on fire by defeating 2 chumps, but i fought those 2 chumps with little to no preparation. Now that i have a bit of confidence from back to back wins, it's back to London for me where i can get a proper training camp in and maybe a step up in challengers.

Who's next?

William "Slim" Sims (93230)

Y'know, after a career that spanned 20 (tycoon) years, i thought i fought my last fight. I got finished in my last 3 fights, and it just looks like my body doesn't respond the way it used to. I thought long and hard, and the decision to retire has been going through my head more often than it doesn't for my last few fights.

When i lose a few fights i think to myself "i don't want to go out like that!" When i win fights, i think to myself "Hey, maybe you've still got it!" But lately the losses are coming more frequently than the wins.

I thought i fought my last fight against the legend Clint Lomax. I had just about hung up my gloves when i found out my old stomping ground AXF is back in business. Now i am under no illusion that i am going to make a run at the title... But the lure of the cage is just too strong!

So at AXF '4 i will be once again stepping into the cage. Is it a smart thing to do? Who knows. I have taken a lot of shots in the cage and i know that my career is pretty much at the end. And what better way to end my career than to go full circle and finish it where i started.

Urijah Faber, i hope you're ready to bring it because i know my time is limited, and i plan to go out with a BANG!

AXF '3 Event Preview prepared by Albert McShonan

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1428430211AXF_3.jpg

Welcome to the preview of AXF 3 ! This time the Host will be Bondi Outdoor Arena, which can seat up to 5750 MMA fans from around the world, located in wonderful Sydney. As always our event is brought to you by Australian Xtreme Elite Supplements, the number 1 local company for all your fighters supplemental needs. Now to the nights fightcard.

Main Event - 265 lbs Van de Wolf Keizer vs. Holyshit

In our Main Event we have the last HW Champion of the former RFC Van de Wolf Keizer vs. the one-time HW Champion of GAMMA, Evander Holyshit. Two towering heavyweights, both heavy handed but with two different approaches on how to best their opponent.
Keizer is a wrestler by trade but with more than serviceable standup skills. His big strength is his ability to tackle his foe and bring the fight to the ground, delivering heavy ground and pound until the referee steps in or the lights go out on his opponent. With a sturdy chin and great submission defense, he will be hard to beat once the fight has gone his way. On the opposite end of the scale stands Evander Holyshit. The Abbeyville native is a great boxer, who grew into a developed MMA fighter, with skills that make him a handful in any position. A knockout puncher, he will most likely set an aggressive pace while keeping the fight on the feet. Either man can win this but most probably the one who will dictate the environment in which this fight takes place will get his hand raised in victory.

Co-Main Event - 135 lbs Price vs. Turk

Next up is a fight in the Bantamweight division. Dan Price is a boxer who matured and complemented his game from a clinch seeking, punching only infighter to a variable kickboxer, who still is most effective with his punches but is able to bother opponents with kicks aswell. In contrast, Braden Turk is a fully complete MMA fighter, with roots in wrestling. Dangerous from top positions, with reversals and ground and pound, he is never to be taken lightly. Though the art of boxing never was his strong suit, he developed skills and has shown them in the cage, knocking out opponents standing. We have two guys with experience here, though Braden sports more numerous fights. I think this will help him win the fight, as I dont see Price having an easy time in most positions, with his best shot while clinching or boxing.

155 lbs Barretto vs. Brandao

In our next fight we have a veteran vs. intermediate situation. Roque Barretto is as seasoned as they come, as "the Paraguayan Lion" has his 60th fight this night. The tall Paraguay native is on a downwards slope having lost 4 of his last 5 fights, 3 due to TKO. Once a brawler with an seemingly unlimited ability to come forward, Barretto has refined his boxing and kickboxing and can fight in any pace that is set. His most dangerous asset are his punches, still in possession of heavy, head snapping bombs. Entering the cage as his opponent is Diego Brandao. The Brazilian is a phenomenal grappler, taking his foes down with ease and working relentlessly for the submission until he gets it. The young BJJ artist has problems standing though, and he was KOed 4 times already. He has to get the takedown as soon as possible, or I see the veteran Barretto roughing him up, either in the clinch or boxing, maybe knocking the greenhorn out.

185 lbs Biles vs. Kalawa

Next up is another seasoned veteran who seeks to humble his younger adversary. This fight is also an immediate rematch of the two fighters, both having fought to a close decision which Kalawa won. Ryan Biles is an typical grappler, with an high active top game focused on submissions. The Pole Kalawa is an excellent grappler aswell. He works his opponents over with strong ground and pound, taking every opening he can get. He also is a competent kickboxer, countering well on his opponents shots, mixing his takedowns in. This fight will most likely not remain standing, devolving into another ground fight. Both fighters have equal chances here.

205 lbs Gorbachoff vs. Larsson

In our next fight we have a rubbermatch between Makahlen Gorbachoff and Sven Larsson. Both are true veterans and had great moments in their respective careers. Gorbachoff started out as a powerful wrestler, who would pummel his opponents with heavy shots on the ground. Then he discovered the joys of knocking people out standing. The 1,98 meter tall, 224 pounds heavy LHW seriously outguns his opponent in the physical department. This is due to Larsson starting out as a Welterweight. The muay thai fighter has shown excellent skills in his long career, even with a short stint into Kickboxing, though with mixed results. An expert kicker who is willing to battle it out in the clinch aswell. In their two fights they both showed superb kickboxing, with the more aggressive Larsson scoring points on the outside while also initating clinches, were he suprisingly controlled the huge Gorbachoff. The Russian has to land big and often, or he might lose another decision to the quick Swede. This feels like the Northern War all over again.

Now to round out our Prelim action...

265 lbs Leonard Christopher v Zerachiel Halo
135 lbs Tyrion Lannister v Meyer Lansky
155 lbs Pithe Canthropus v Marcus Maven
170 lbs Fook Man v Robert Bruce
170 lbs Aaron Bowles v Robbie Sanchez

AXF '4 Event Preview prepared by Albert McShonan

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1429083764AXF_4.jpg

Welcome to AXF 4, hosted by Bondi Outdoor Arena in wonderful Sydney, Australia ! As always brought to you by Australian Xtreme Elite Supplements – bringing the elite supplementation for your fighters needs. Now on to Saturdays fights.

Main Event - 155 lbs Singh vs. Bartlet

As our main event we have Arshnoor Singh vs. Josiah Bartlet, two young lightweights who look to storm their divisons ranks. Singh is a towering lightweight with a Kickboxing background, boosting a three wins due to headkick in a row. The excellent kicker who utilizes a variety of flashy kicks will look to see this fight play out standing. Decent Wrestling will help him to fulfil this plan. He will go up against Josiah Bartlet, a man that excels on the ground. Bartlet has a fantastic BJJ and Wrestling background which he utilizes to take the opponent, mostly from the clinch, down and batter him with his deadly elbows. His Kickboxing skills have improved over the time as well. Most probably this will be a typical striker vs. wrestler match-up, but Bartlet could trade kicks with Singh, were the Patalia native will gain the upper hand.

Co-Main Event - 145 lbs Huntti vs. Vamoosh

Next up we have a battle between two young hopefuls that will most likely make the news in their respective careers. Markku Huntti is a Finnish Kickboxer, who has refined his Boxing already to a large degree. He is quick and powerful, with an deadly left hook. He likes to mix up his arsenal of strikes with kicks, but his most dangerous asset are his punches. Standing across the cage is Ravi Vamoosh. The Indian fighter is learned in the traditional art of Kalarippayat, native of his home Kerala. Boasting a big arsenal of takedowns with which he initates an ground battle that his opponent cant win. Six of his six wins came by TKO due to GnP. Ravi will try to get the fight on the ground, but Hunttis takedown defense is superb. On the feet, Vamoosh is comfortable as well but I see Huntti taking it when it comes to blows.

205 lbs Matthews vs. Sullivan IV

Here we see the wild brawler Clay Matthews and the veteran John L Sullivan IV again. These two KOed their last opponent. Matthews came out victorious of a grueling match with Walter White, that saw him cut. He turned the tables with a stinging right straight that knocked his opponent unconscious. The towering Matthews will most likely set an high pace again. He goes up against the aging Sullivan IV, a power punching Boxer that will give no inch when these two start to trade shots. I see the veteran outlasting his imposing, younger foe here, winning due to a TKO.

145 lbs Poggle vs. Parmesan

In our next fight we have two rookies with a perfect record going up against each other. Timothy Poggle has a BJJ background, but the most obvious talent of this young man is his ability to punch people senseless. Having won almost all of his fights due to TKO, he has shown ground skills but more important excellent Muay Thai and Boxing. Gene Parmesan on the other hand is a pure Wrestler and BJJ player. He wrestles opponents down and works his great submission skills. He may have problems with the strong Poggle, who can fight in any position.

170 lbs Pettis vs. Behnder Jr.

Now we have an rematch. Sergio Pettis is an incredible submission artist, every fight he has won was due to his opponent tapping out. But he will have his hands full with the varied, true Mixed Martial Artist Marcus Behnder Jr. The Canadian can fight from any position and has won from most positions so far. He is powerful enough to be a constant danger standing or if he has an dominant position on the ground. Pettis may have a chance if he gets the fight to the ground, due to him having an edge in BJJ. Otherwise, this fight will be a copy of their last one.

The rest of the nights fights:

135 lbs Urijah Faber v William Sims

170 lbs Tom Haverford v Optimus Prime

185 lbs Hans Huber v King Yento

145 lbs Tom Belichick v Marcus Quinn

185 lbs Allkindsa Bustinchapsup v Vladimir Drake

Hans Huber (2-1-0)

Nice to see a fighter that doesn't talk shit about how great he is, and how he is going to conquer the division blah, blah, blah.

Good luck in your fight Slim, I'll be watching ringside to see if I can pick up any tips.

Well it looks like my impressive KO debut fight wasn't enough to get me noticed by the org owner and onto the fight preview so I guess I'll have to do even better this fight. It should be easy as I'm the greatest fighter at 185 and will soon conquer the division.

Will i retire after this? Or will i continue to fight? I'd like to say this is my last fight but i been saying it for the last 4-5 fights... :boxing:

AXF '7 Event Preview

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1430984998AXF_7.jpg

Ladies and Gentlemen, AXF in Sydney is very excited to present to you this weeks epic event coming to you live from the Sydney Superdome where we expect upwards of 18, 500 rabid Australian Xtreme Fight fans to make their way to take in what is easily this young companies greatest event ever. Not only do we get to enjoy this grande event from Sydneys largest arena but our many fans from across the globe will get to take in the action live and on PPV. This is a big step for this company and without the help and support of many of our friends and those we have worked with in the past this could not have been put together. With all that being said lets get right to the action. In our Main Event of AXF '7 we have a Heavyweight battle followed up by a LW classic in our Co Main Event of the evening!

Main Event - 265 lbs Mandragoran vs Veide

In our Main Event we see Lan Madragoran make his return to the cage for the first time in 14 months. Following a dispute with his previous management team Lan has been sitting out idle waiting on his no compete clause to run its course. Luckily for all of us AXF fans that time has finally presented itself and he makes his return in epic style taking on the current CCF HW Champ Varg Veide. Amazingly and as if this was scripted by a higher power, both of these fighters come into this battle riding 12 fight win streaks, Madragoran holding a very slight advantage in MT and Veide being the more well groomed fighter in the grappling department however in this matchup I do not envision that meaning much as these 2 warriors will likely stand and bang it out until either the final buzzer sounds or one man no longer maintains the ability to remain upright! Based on their careers Lan has proven to be a finisher, meaning either he finishes the fight, or is finished seeing on 4 of his 38 career fights go to the judges. Winning 92.5% of his fights by way of a TKO only proves when he makes contact with his opponents chin, the lights go out! But what could end up being his undoing is the fact that he has seen himself suffer 80% of his career losses in the same fashion, and staring him down on this night is a fighter with almost as storied a career in the TKO department with 81.82% of his finishes by way of a TKO. There will most certainly be lots of fireworks in this one which will put an exclamation point on this amazing fight card!!

Co-Main Event - 155 lbs Kelly vs Connemara

In our Co Main Event of the evening we see a superfight between two much smaller warriors in comparison to our ME. George Kelly makes his way from NY to take on Jameson Connemara representing Ascension. This fight breaks down as a fight that could take place on the feet or possibly on the ground, possibly dictated by the Primary advantage possessed by Connemara. In Kelly's last appearance he pulled off an astounding Head Kick KO in a Superfight under the Syn Banner and based on comments in between fights by his camp he is eager to continue his climb up the rankings. Connemara has won 9 of his past 10, and by Head Kick as well in his last appearance however prior to that he has seen 11 of his last 13 go to the judges including a Gold Medal in the 2015 FW Winter Olympics. This one will come down to a battle between Kelly's desire to see a finish and Connemara's well rounded gameplan leading him to a decision. Much like our ME this fight will be one to watch for sure!!

205 lbs Kirbs vs Pheu

Next up we see a battle that puts another fighter who had been on a long layoff due this time to a wonky ACL injury as Trent Quo Titan Kirbs had been on the shelf for a 10 month period before making a dramatic return to the AXF cage just 2 weeks ago. That fight saw Kirbs go back and forth for nearly 3 full rounds before landing a huge uppercut and putting his name back on the list of fighters to watch out for!! Kirbs opponent tonight Kaka Pheu Pheu, man that name stinks almost as much as the action it describes!! Anyways Kaka makes his way to AXF from London following 4 consectutive victories which culminated in winning the REVO LHW title. Kirbs is predominately a stand up fighter who mixes in some clinch work however he has not shown he is totally out of his element on the ground as his one submission win certainly gives his opponents cause for concern if they feel they have the advantage on the ground. On the other side of that coin Pheu is willing to go where ever the fight may take place, and has shown he has the skillset to handle himself in any of the martial arts. Based on that stinky name I believe Kirbs has this one in the bag, unless Pheu remembers his dose of amodium!!

155 lbs Atsushi vs DeBramalo

In our next matchup we have a fight that will possibly see the passing of the guard as Sydney veteran Kuroda Atsushi sees battle for the 52nd time in his career as he takes on young buck Quentin DeBramalo stepping into the cage for the 11th time in his career. Just 2 weeks ago Kuroda pulled off a slick Armbar submission in his superfight with Syn City foghter Toga Masotti in his first appearance in the cage since January of 2015. Atsushi has mostly been in semi retirement mode helping train the next wave of fighters within Masaru Fighting Systems but recently has shown a desire to return to MMA and the city of Sydney that had made him a favorite by the local fanbase. Staring him down on the other side of the cage is controversial fighter DeBramalo who looked destined to take the Gold medal during the LW Tycoon Championships only to see that opportunity stolen from him by politics and jealousys. Quentin has been focussing on his training since that unfortunate time but is ready to test himself against a grizzled veteran with a clear ground game advantage. His Standup skills are clearly more developed then that of Kuroda so this will be a fantastic battle to see if it remains standing, or if it goes to the ground.

265+ lbs Alzate vs Russo

Our final matchup from the main card another fight that puts a grizzled veteran in the cage against a fighter who is seemingly just hitting his stride even if his record doesnt show it. Niko Alzate is a fighter with a well rounded skillset even if his boxing appears to be abit behind that of his opponent however that doesnt stop him from engaging on the feet. The problem he faces however when doing so is his chin doesnt always like to hold up, which leads us to his opponent Leeroy Russo who has shown more power then Alzate, he also has an iffy chin. Russo comes in sporting a 2 fight win streak that has seen him show a flash of brilliant power, which is a grand rebound from the 4 straight losses he had been riding prior. Meanwhile Alzate, like DeBramalo was somewhat involved in controversy during the same Tycoon Championships as following a loss it was announced he would still move on to fight for Bronze due to a weight loss disagreement involving the Gold medal finalist. Following his bronze medal victory Niko returned home to LA to go through the motions in a Decision loss in his return to Insanity, a loss that angered his management team and has him focused and determined to right the good ship Alzate. This fight will play out with Russo enjoying a 32cm reach advantage which very well could present Alzate with nothing but headaches but you will have to wait until Saturday to see it unfold!!

Well folks thats all the time we have but here is a quick listing of our other fights on this action packed event...

185 lbs George Kalawa v Sergio Pettis
205 lbs Clay Matthews v Makahlen Gorbachoff
185 lbs Madhead Power v Hans Huber
170 lbs Aaron Bowles v Fook Man
185 lbs Allkindsa Bustinchapsup v King Yento

AXF '8 Event Preview

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1431729910AXF_8.jpg

Ladies and Gentlemen, AXF in Sydney is very excited to present to you this weeks epic event coming to you live from the Sydney Superdome where we expect upwards of 18, 500 rabid Australian Xtreme Fight fans to make their way to take in what will be a great follow up to the ultra successful AXF 7 event!! This event brings us not only a solid Main Event and Co Main Event but also the much hyped final to the Sydney Cup which will see the winner take home this companies Featherweight Title. Just prior to that matchup we present our Main Event of AXF '8 and then followed up in our Co Main Event of the evening 2 epic HW battles!!

Main Event - 265 lbs Kickin Rad vs John Kyle Romo

Our Main Event showcases a battle between Kickin Rad making his return to the AXF cagefollowing a big win in AXF 6. Facing off on the other side of the cage is Striker John Kyle Romo. Like stated previously Rad made his Sydney debut on AXF '6 and has a career full of KO finishes, but dont sit back waiting for that big blow or you could miss a slick submission which Rad has pulled off on 4 other occasions. Meanwhile his opponent Romo possesses a simliar trait when it comes to KO finishes while also leaning on the judges 8 times during his career. What could potentially be the key factor in this matchup is the fashion in which Romo tends to hang the L on his record as he has been KO'd 73% of the time in which he comes up short. Rad has a slightly stronger chin only feeling the effects of a KO loss 35% of the time and if I were to put my money on things, I would certainly say that someone is going to sleep tonight, you can bank on it!

Co-Main Event - 265 lbs Niko Alzate vs Neo Kable

In our Co Main Event of the evening we see a fight between warriors managed by 2 managers who simply do not like each other!! This all dates back to a breezy night in October of 2012 when world famous tourney manager Ethan Downs instructed his fighter to rely on unethical tactics on his way to winning the LoL tourney final. But lets not focus on that one and instead on the fight at hand as we see another 2 big men throw down! In a fight that was just signed late this afternoon we will be witness to one one of the greatest HW's to do battle in Neo Kable as he takes on virtual unknown Niko Alzate. Kable began his career with an amazing 23 fight win streak before being stopped cold in his tracks and ever since that L he simply has not been the same. Facing off on the other side of the cage is Niko Alzate who just last week during AXF's grandest of shows AXF 7 took the W and ran with it and this week he has hopes of the very same result. Kable only knows one way to fight, and that is to throw down as he has not only won 100% of his fights by way of TKO but has also lost them all in the same fashion. He boasts a heart of a lion and in this one I think poor Alzate is, how you say....fooked!!! Niko is still very green compared to Kable when it comes to big fights and big finishes but he too does not lack heart and will come out battling Neo until one of these big men come crashing to the mat

145 lbs Ravi Vamoosh vs Tomothy Poggle - Sydney Cup Final

Next up we see a battle that will see AXF crown their first Champion as Ravi Vamoosh takes on Tomothy Poggle. We are being told there is big money at stake in this one along with bragging rights and alittle gold to go around the winners waist. Vamoosh has enjoyed an unblemished trip to this final showdown while Poggle was forced to circle back one more time following a Majority Draw in his semi-final fight with Gene Parmesan. Both these combatants enjoy the fireworks of the KO finish as Vamoosh has never seen any fight finish in any other fashion while Poggle has won 5 by way of the KO finish and going to one judges score cards. Vamoosh is a wrestler who follows up his successful takedowns with a deadly accurate ground and pound assault. He will be facing a stand up monster who compliments his striking with his clinch mastery. Up until this point he has not faced an opponent who wanted to take the fight to the ground, will he be able to continue that streak or will Vamoosh expose his wrestling disadvantage. Stay tuned and find out is all I can say, I am waiting for this one with bated breath for sure!

170 lbs Unai Arana vs Adam Yauch

In our next matchup we have a fight that sees 2 veterans do battle as UNai Arana steps into the cage for the 32nd time in his career and goes up against Adam Yauch fighting for the 39th time. Once again both of these fighters like to finish their fights as they have a combined 37 wins via TKO finishes however unlike previously they have a much smaller combined 5 KO losses. Arana comes in to this fight on a 2 fight win streaks while his dance partner Yauch has had less luck losing his previous 2 trips into the cage. Both of these fighters would like to take a step up the rankings both within AXF and also in the Tycoon universe and will come out all guns a blazing in this one for sure!

205 lbs Sven Larsson vs John L Sullivan

Our final matchup from the main card sees another battle of grizzled veterans. Sven Larsson comes into this one after winning 4 of his last 5 fights including a 1-1 record in AXF meanwhile his opponent staring him down from the other side of the cage is Sydney legend John L Sullivan who is riding a 2 fight win streak since returning home to AXF which seems to have rejuvinated his career that looked to be on the rocks. Even though Larsson has enjoyed 12 victories via TKO his preference appears to be to play it safe and take it to the judges scorecard where he has won 57% of the time. On the other side Sullivan has blasted his way to victory 27 times with TKO stoppages. A victory in this one will certainly put the winner close to the top of the division rankings I am not sure Sullivans current role can be stopped, but if it is Larsson will enjoy one of his most rewarding victories he has experienced thus far in his long career. Whomever can get their chin to hold up the longest will likely come out on top, whose your money on in this one?

Well folks thats all the time we have but here is a quick listing of our other fights on this action packed event...
170 lbs Sergio Pettis v Rickson Gracie
135 lbs Urijah Faber v Marcus Maven
145 lbs Markku Huntti v Marcus Quinn
265 lbs Tinashe Chukwuma v William Cutter
155 lbs Steve Vega v Pithe Canthropus

AXF '9 Event Preview

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1432328083AXF_9.jpg

Ladies and Gentlemen, AXF in Sydney is very excited to present to you this weeks epic event coming to you live from the Sydney Superdome where we expect upwards of 18, 500 rabid Australian Xtreme Fight fans to make their way to take in what will be another top notch action packed show. This event brings us 2 great fights to call the Main Event and Co Main event of the evening as Sydney sons Lan Mandragoran and Trent Quo Titan Kirbs return once more to show off their skills for the fans once more.

Main Event - 265 lbs Lan Mandragoran vs John Arnie Ironz

Our Main Event showcases a battle between a pair of Elite level strikers who hold a combined 53 career (T)KO finishes and a combined 23 career KO losses. Both combatants come into this match up following a Loss however they took place in much different timeframes. Mandragoran lost in his debut fight with AXF 2 weeks ago against striker Varg Veide barely lasting into the second minute of the fight. Meanwhile opposing Lan is veteran Arnie Ironz who will step into the cage for the first time in 10 months. Mandragoran possessing a mixed offensive attack showcasing punches, kicks and lethal elbows in the clinch. His 25 career KO's are an outstanding achievement however looking in his eyes from the opposite side of the cage is a fighter who holds 3 more with 28 throughout his career. Ironz brings to the table a very similar skillset minus the elbows however is still strong in the clinch however slightly less accuracy but in this game accuracy is not the key, whatis key is landing the right strike at the right time and Ironz resume shows that taking place on 28 occasions which is enough to convince the combined 53 (T)KO finishes will hold up as history has proven time and time again. Smart money is on seeing one of these fighters add one more fireworks filled KO to their resume and we could easily see KO of the night honours handed out following this one!!

Co-Main Event - 205 lbs Trent Kirbs vs Tim Smith

In our Co Main Event of the evening we see a LHW fight between 2 fighter both on a role as Trent Kirbs continues his path back to greatness in Sydney following wins at AXF '5 & '7. Having now gone over 14 months without tasting defeat Kirbs brings to the cage with him a varied attack showing he is willing to go whereever it is needed to come out victorious. Opposing Trent is Tim Smith who comes in on a 3 fight winning streak however has been idle since late February. Will rust shine through on this one and prevent Smith from continuing his winning ways or will his apparent Primary advantage overcome the rust and lead him to victory. Smith has seen his share of talented fighters and overcome their abilities to come out on top whereas Kirbs has faced his share of fighters possibly in the twilight of their careers and also young hungry fighters during his stay with this company when under the banner of Extreme-MMA. Those on the outside looking in will say they feel the disadvantage Kribs faces in both Muay Thai and Wrestling could be his undoing however he has shown in the past that what looks good on paper does not always translate in the same terms when the ref shouts "fight" This one could prove to be Fight of the Night and those fans who will be in attendance are surely very excited to see it play out!

265 lbs Leonard Christopher vs Giordano Bruno

Next up we see a battle that will see a couple of fighters who are just starting to hit their stride as they enter the prime of their careers. Both these guys are looking to springboard off this fight and find the W column following a loss for Bruno and a draw for Christopher. Christopher comes in as the shorter fighter giving Bruno a slight reach advantage as he also enjoys a Primary skill advantage. One thing that stands out in the lead up to this one is the fact that during fight week and during the open workouts Christopher has shown a tendancy to be less then in favor of his own abilities. Even though he has enjoyed success through out his career he prefers to drag his feet and drown in his own sorrows rather then be proud and confident in his abilities. On the other side Bruno seems pumped and ready to get back into the win column and earn his first victory under the AXF umbrella. Both fighters have shown the ability to end fights violently and I am here to announce this one will be no different.

265 lbs Shane Del Rosario vs El Pintos

In our next matchup we return once again to the 265 lbs division as Shane Del Rosario takes on venteran El Pintos. Del Rosario made his debut with AXF at AXF 5 when he made quick work of Ben Knope finishing him by way of KO halfway through round 1. Shane enters the fight having won 8 of his 10 Pro fights with (T)KO finishes having seen the 3rd round only twice in his career meanwhile El Pintos makes his return to an AXF cage following a Fight of the Night performance @ AXF '6 just 2 weeks ago in what was a very hard fought Draw versus fellow HW Leonard Christopher. Pintos is a veteran of 17 Pro fights yet is still looking for the right formula to see him win more then he has lost, currently standing in at 8-8-1. His 10 month absence from the cage could very well have been what was needed. Does Pintos have another FOTN in him or will Del Rosario continue with his KO supremecy, we will certainly find out for sure coming up tonight!

205 lbs Walter White vs Julio El Toro

Our final matchup from the main card sees 2 LHW fighters looking to find the winning ways that will vault them up the rankings on AXF's roster. Walter White has really been struggling recently seeing only 2 victories in his past 8 trips into the cage while Julio El Toro is only slightly better with 2 wins iin his past 6 fights. White holds a slight advantage in the striking game over El Toro however he has also shown the slightly weaker chin having seen his lights put out on 8 occasions during his career versus only 3 for El Toro. Where White shows a slight weakness, he makes up for with 1 KO victory more then Julio and we do not expect this one to last very long as this match up screams KO of the Night loud and clear!!

Well folks thats all the time we have but here is a quick listing of our other fights on this action packed event...

145 lbs Zander Harland v Gene Parmesan
185 lbs Ryan Biles v Madhead Power
265 lbs Ben Knope v Brock Lesner
265 lbs Gary Opdauhl v James Toby
185 lbs Cole Orion v O Shea Jackson
