Buying VIP

Intelligence is hugely overrated both in this game and in physical reality. Too much intelligence turns you into a nervous, anxious wreck and a bit of a theoretical egghead (all theory, no experience or practice of the theory) and in the game we know fighters with high intelligence and SHIG have made dumbass decisions also. My point is that intelligence literally is not as useful - or efficient as we may think.

Too much charisma on the other hand (which I'd liken to the Confidence hidden) leads to - in real life a person talking beyond their knowledge and putting their foot in their mouth type of thing, being overconfident and not knowledgeable enough or just talking too much and people grasping how dumb you are the more you say and being a motor-mouth annoying type that talks too much. In the game confident fighters have been known to have higher aggression and more actions in the fight as a result, the downside of that being they can be being countered more easily and also waste their energy if they keep missing.

It may be unrelated to what everyone's talking about - I was just reflecting on this because ppl were making fun of Gwad but I do feel I am onto something here. Should I create a thread based on these kinds of insights or does a similar subject exist? I think it's interesting taking the game concepts and translating them to irl concepts...

I don`t like using SHIG + high IQ

Also leaving Predictions empty so the system figures it out for you over the last 20 fights is cheese

There are so many ways to make this game cheese or easier. I simply choose to put in the hard work, study sliders and keep getting better.

Grumpy taught me a lot of stuff and part of that was easily beating managers that use these cheese techniques. It has been extremely valuable.

I work for a big company. Plenty of people with plenty of strengths.

The smart (High IQ) people don`t need to sound smart. It shows in their results, their planning, etc. If we wanted to transfer that to MMAT it would be the managers that constantly do good where they choose to fight.

High IQ people that have low EQ have a hard time. They simply don`t connect with people no matter how smart they are.

These people are usually miserable, they know they are smart, everybody knows they are smart. Yet nobody cares because they lack emotional intelligence. They should be upper management at the minimum but end up doing basic jobs because they simpy cannot nail that interview, or don`t have promoters.

You see plenty of those here in MMAT , usually at the higher levels because reading a Wiki and setting sliders takes 0 interaction with other humans.

Someone's making fun of me? That's not how I interpreted it.

What Camara, or anyone who actually listens to the bile he spews, doesn't seem to understand, is that I don't utilize the full breadth of my vocabulary to sound or imply that I'm intelligent, I do so because it comes natural to me. Metastasize was the perfect word to describe recent developments regarding Camara's Alex psychosis.

I've spent the majority of my life living in countries/regions where English is not the native language including the city where Camara allegedly reigns supreme and I usually have to dumb down my speech for the natives. So I appreciate the opportunity, in an English language forum, to not need to do that.

Doing some looking around, the inflation in the game has fucked if for me.

If I buy 3 months VIP to start an org, I'm no longer VIP and lose it in 3 months. There's NO way I'd be able to get the insane 1 mil to keep VIP going. People used to be interested in selling VIP for in game cash and it was a good system. Mike gets the VIP money, in-game player can work on building more cash.

Now unless you have a top guy, which only the current players have access to, you can't make any decent money off of fighters. No org will run a huge profit in 3 months.

It's pay to win now. There is nothing a non-paying member can do to enjoy it.

I make quite a bit of cash hustling and sports betting vs other managers.

Writing is right now great as so many orgs pay well for it.

Avatar creation is also very lucrative.

Last but not least, begging also works quite well. I’m not trolling here I swear it’s true.

I was having this discussion with a new player the other day but he refused to do all above suggestions and was too proud to beg.

At the end of the day we are looking at $30 USD to play this game for a full year with all its bells and whistles. It’s the price of a cheeseburger meal for 2.

The game is far from dying. Covid has brought back many managers, it’s actually busier than a year ago.

Everyone that tries the game or comes back to realize it got harder to win (we are past the exploratory phase of circa 2010) says the same thing. As if claiming the game is dead will make everyone else quit.

This is why I got so upset the other day you guys were bullying kids on Discord. You cry that the game is dying and don’t stop harassing a guy that said, and I quote: I’m 80% from quitting this game due to harassment.

I have you on ignore but I will answer this one for change.

For "Bullying and harrassing a guy" you mean the same player that asked me inbox for a private custom avatar, I said "No I'm not insterested" and then he started to harass me into accepting it? To a point I had to send him an email written "I said no, fuck off" and block him? And then he went into MMATycoon main channel to bad mouth me about it? So then he blames "all other managers are rude to me I can't handle the harassing Im gonna quit"?

Yeah, probably right.

lol I remember you posting those screenshots of him asking you over and over about an avatar.

but that`s the thing with you guys you never just "let it go".

This same thing literally happened when you found out about his password retrieval account. He legit did not know he was not allowed a second account and he immediately wrote to Mike to delete it.

Of course that was not enough and your crew immediately moved to erase him: http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=65721

You guys drove the noob kt org this way: http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=65413

And tried to fuck with Biro too: http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=64795

And then you guys are wondering why your 32-man tournaments don`t get filled up, or your VIP offers don`t get purchased lol

This passive-aggressive shit don`t work in the real wurld it ain`t gonna work in here either.

Yall PEW PEW until someone stands up to you then it`s all QQ

"You guys drove Jay off"?

Quote any part of that thread I tried to pull his carpet lol. ANY. I give you 5mi.

Actually, since Jay was GBU at his final moments I suppose you could have him reached... Get his statement about this. Ask how did I treat him and how did I support his business.

I had roughly 7million tycoon dollars donated right from the start to keep things going and giving his kickstart tourney a prize pool. And Spoiler alert: I didnt ask any of it back after he went to GBU and his org got debunked. I actually said "keep it and make a comeback".

So go on. Back it up how I "Drove Jay's business off"

I'll weigh in, as a new player.

It would be very difficult for me to make money, short of selling VIP time.

I don't have any professional skills in writing bio's, interviews, or any of that stuff, so that avenue is a no go.

I don't have any skills creating banners or avatars, so that avenue is a no go.

The money you make from base level contracts is barely enough to afford a semi-decent gym, supps and clothing.

I imagine that my experience in playing this game, without VIP, would be significantly hindered.

Yeah, just -1 my post. Cause you cant quote any shit from that thread. But you wont say you are sorry for slandering a manager, same as you never apologized for stealing avatars. But who is the one harassing?

It's not deliberate attacks, it's just that every action you take is crap behaviour. Thats what you create against you. Now begone into oblivion.

And by slander, I mean THIS:

Miss Miracle: "YoU WuR DrIVIng hiZ buizz Off!"

Reality:

You got a cool mill in da bank and a private gym. That, and a lot of reading is all you need.

Actually if I had to restart all over again I would honestly just buy the year for $30 USD , then sell 3 months at inflated prices and get my gym. I went the really long way never buying anything and hustling since day 1.

It wasn`t worth all the headaches Jarmas and his crew put me through but when the smoke cleared I was last man standing so it forced me to learn sliders really quick lol.

Cam, that's exactly what I did. Bought some time and almost immediately sold a portion to open the gym.

I have no issues whatsoever supporting the designer as the game is a lot of fun.

I'll gladly throw cash at Mike as long as I'm enjoying myself.

I made my peace with not learning Photochopz. I also only like writing my fighter`s stories/fights and not for events, not even the ones at my own org.

Even If I did I would not be as good as some of the guys here. A lot of the guys that do my art are super cool, so I focus on making legendary fighters and artists approach you to make stuff for them.

Like a famous athlete or rapper getting sponsorships, getting cool shit from Nike or Rebook.
