it never gets past the "connecting to server" loading screen
Strange, we have a few people being able to join in now still. Are you trying to join using the chat link on the mma tycoon website?

yeah
Go onto that link, and click the "LAUNCH MIBBIT CLIENT" button
From there, enter your nick on the box, and in the channel box put in #mmatycoon
Then click connect and you should be able to join
