What MMA promotions do you follow (0ther than UFC)?

Question is in the title. I just started watching some more Bellator again. And their sometimes freaky match-making ignored, I do quite love the fact that their product presentation is (at least in parts) distinctively different from the UFC. It really pisses me off, how many regional, small time promotions copy the UFC down to a T. And I mean down to each and any camera angle.

Bellator shows just manage to have a different feeling to them, which is what many other promotions lack, imo. Especially the pro wrestling style entrances! Sergei Kharitonov fought yesterday - I didn't even know that this guy was still around! Poor Roy Nelson took yet another beating. :( He really needs to hang up his gloves or seriously change his game. Because he is living a dangerous live for an aged, undersized heavyweiht, who is still praised for a chin, that he doesn't have anymore. If he gets booked accordingly and fights on like this, it will cost him.

Bellator is a good one. If you want something different i would recommend Rizin, Pancrease, DEEP, and honestly any japanese mma promotion.

I also like LFA and CES which are pretty much feeder leagues for promotions like UFC and Bellator.

The professional fighters' league (PFL) is also really fun to watch if you like tournaments.

One FC is an asian based promotion that focuses on places like the Philippines and such and it also has had some great events and great fighters (rumor is that Eddie Alvarez is going to sign with them)

M-1 global is also a fun russian promotion, along with ACB which is more European based, unfortunately ACB might not be around much longer.

Wow, surprised to see that Bellator appears to be a brand of choice around here. But it goes to show that Coker is doing something right. That heavyweight tournament, for example, panned out for him just right. Even though I think there is very little room for surprise. Bader will most likely smoke Fedor.

How do you guys follow stuff like Rizin and One FC? Is any of that stuff on Fight Pass?

One FC has a free app that allows you to watch all their shows for free.

Rizin is usually a PPV on Fite.tv. The price is 20 dollars per show. (BTW, Fite.tv is a great app/website that has a lot of free MMA like ACB and XFC).

M1 has a website and app that you can watch their shows on. I believe the shows are PPV but I know they have a youtube channel that they post all the fights on immediately after the live feed end.

LFA and CES are on TV on the AXS TV station.

King of the cage is on Mav TV

UFC Fight Pass has a lot of MMA.

And that's pretty much all the MMA I watch. There are always different orgs putting on shows tho all the time tho, so usually going on Reddit you can find a link for a stream.

I never watched One FC, Bellator is by far my second favorite org, in fact the entertainment values is as good as UFC, just the average quality of fights is lower.

PFL's first season was pretty good. I'll be interested to see if they can keep it going.

Invicta has definitely taken a big step back since they decided to be a UFC feeder irg, but I still watch about half their shows.

Id really like to see an org pick up all the flyweights who get cut and try to build a wec style org. It will probably be rizin or one, but I'd prefer a US based org.

PFL was ruined by draws.. 2 round fights are so dumb.

If you havent checked the last couple of One cards, you should. These guys are moving ahead in leaps and bounds. Now they have some very legitimate guys globally like DJ who is close to P4P number 1 and a good grafter in eddie alvarez. This org already has huge watch rates compared to other orgs, they run world champion v world champion Muay Thai and kickboxing bouts every card, they allow knees to the head of grounded opponents in MMA fights, etc

This org is heading towards a clear number 2 behind UFC (if they dont go broke getting there lol)

That was a huge let down. Looking at it on paper was a mind fuck to me, you got possibly your two biggest names in the company. One a legend the other has been unstoppble in Bellator. Yet they filled the card with absolute rubbish below that fight. Of course Fedor vs Bader could have saved the event. Only we all know sadly Fedor is way past his prime and not capable of being competitive against top fighters, even for Bellator. All fairness though he did beat Chael the American Gangster Sonnen lol. Oh and a guy named Meat head.
