SnapDragon
I remember reading a thread about gyms and investing in coaches. This was awhile ago and i believe an old thread anyway, but JLP was talking about the diminishing returns of say an elite level coach training someone with far inferior skills. I dont remember exactly but he discussed the diminishing returns of a coach being so far superior in skill that the skill gain of the inferior fighter would be minimal, or hit a wall so to speak in terms of the difference. Has anyone found a more exact recipe regarding how far advanced a coaches level should be compared to that of the fighter training?

Has anyone found a more exact recipe regarding how far advanced a coaches level should be compared to that of the fighter training? I'd say it's not worth it to get lower level coaches for lower level fighters just because of the signing bonuses and basically you'd need an elite level coach eventually anyway for most of your fighters (so sacking the low level coach eventually might not be worth it since it's another signing bonus for the new higher level coach). That's my opinion but anyone can chime in their statistical analysis of this. I just go with elite because that's what you're going to need by end game.
RegularJohn
I think the coach only needs to be two levels above the fighter for the training to be at maximal gains but then again the fighter's skills will supposedly be going up so you'd have to keep firing and hiring new coaches. maybe there is a sweet spot where you can have a coach with a given level skill and the smaller wage will be worth in comparision to the higher skilled coach signing bonus. or maybe it is worth having a couple medium skilled coaches if you're training a lot of projects?
