Will you offer odds for betting on these events? Either way, I hope to get a fighter in here at some point when my contracts are up. I've always liked working with you.

Possibly mate. I'll see how it goes. I'm hoping to have write ups and stuff but also looking to keep things relatively small with a roster of 35-40 fighters. My goal is to provide a cool little corner of the Tycoon world for fighters/managers that aren't likely to be picked up by other orgs. Not looking to be a hype org. Small contracts but regular fights for decent reliable managers.

Goes without saying that you are obviously very welcome here!

WVT I

(Friday 29th March - Hyashi's Lounge, Los Angeles)

MAIN EVENT

John “The Hooligan” Braddock (17-4, 285lbs) vs. Oleg “Easy B” Liguy (9-10, 185lbs)

John “The Hooligan” Braddock has found a new home and makes his first appearance under new management. Braddock, who not so long ago looked to be one of the most fearsome heavyweight prospects, has suffered a few losses of late but what better place to get back into the groove than WVT. His opponent is Oleg “Easy B” Liguy, a natural middleweight journeyman fighter who has seen his fair share of management teams and who has spent the last few months languishing in the QFC ranks. He faces a tough time against Braddock but the challenge is what it’s all about. He will definitely be the underdog going into this fight but if he could somehow get this fight to the ground, he could have chance of a huge upset and the biggest win of his career.

Prediction: Braddock by KO

CO-MAIN EVENT

Comeon Hitme (12-14, 215lbs) vs. Ignatius Thistlewhistle (10-14, 152lbs)

Another competitive match up but with a fairly significant weight difference. Comeon Hitme has suffered something of a slump over the past several months and will no doubt be looking to revitalise his career here at WVT. To do so he will need to get past Ignatius Thistlewhistle, a featherweight journeyman who is also looking for a fresh start after a less than stellar run of results of late. Both fighters are well rounded so this one will definitely come down to who can use their physical attributes best.

Prediction: Hitme by Dec

Anthony “The Animal” Griffith (12-9, 265lbs) vs. Aulis Homelius (8-4, 196lbs)

This bout could be one to watch. Expected to be competitive fight between two fighters with winning records, either one of these guys could be looking to put a good run together and to become the first champion of WVT. Anthony Griffith has fought all over the world and comes into the bout with a record of 12-9 and Aulis Homelius had put together a good run in the now defunct Sydney Fights org and makes his first appearance under new management. Homelius, arguably the better grappler, Griffith with the better stand up and with a ferocious record of KO’s.

Prediction: Griffith by KO

Sam Sung “Galaxy” (6-1, 278lbs) vs. Noam “Scottish Supernova” Dar (10-10, 178lbs)

Perhaps one of the better prospects of the WVT at this time is Sam Sung, a South Korean heavyweight submission wrestler who will be making his first appearance under new management. He’ll be taking on Scotland’s Noam Dar, at 10-10 journeyman who spent the bulk of his career in the old Beatdown org of Hilo. Dar is something of a submission wrestler himself and actually has more submission wins than Sung but as much as we would love to see these two fighters go head to head on the ground remains to be seen as Sung has quite a strong advantage in the stand up.

Prediction: Sung by KO

Crack Head “Roks” (13-15, 153lbs) vs. Papa John (4-7, 140lbs)

Next up, an interesting scrap between two struggling lighter fighters. Journeyman Crack Head faces a tough challenge from his opponent Papa John and is really going to have to put his slight wrestling advantage to good use. John looks to be much better on the feet but isn’t really known for his knockout prowess where as Head has managed a decent amount of wins in his career and his submission game is known to demand some respect.

Prediction: Head by Decision

Oscar “Bologna” Meyer (6-7, 270lbs) vs. Bruno “The” Beast (1-1, 210lbs)

The shameless heavyweight slugger Oscar Meyer finds a new home at WVT and many are excited to see his do or die fighting style in action. He will definitely have the edge in experience when he takes on 1-1 Bruno “The” Beast who, despite being involved in MMA for a good while now, has only managed to find his way to the cage on a couple of occasion. Whether that lack of experience will hinder Beast in this one we will have to wait and see but his best chance would definitely not be standing in front of Meyer.

Prediction: Meyer by KO

Blitz “88” Kreig (9-15, 300lbs) vs. Raheem “The Dream” Nazir (9-24, 210lbs)

Three hundred pound KO machine Blitz Kreig takes on 9-24 journeyman Raheem “The Dream” Nazir and what an interesting fight this will be. grappler versus striker with all the usual caveats that come with these types of match ups, Kreig stands a massive chance of a win if he can keep on his feet where Nazir would definitely benefit from getting this fight to the ground. A tough fight to predict but many predict Nazir picking up his first win in the WVT

Prediction: Nazir by Submission

Petr “The Bee” Kotrc (4-10, 134lbs) vs. Kabala “The Wizard” Magaluff (3-2, 194lbs)

Petr “The Bee” Kotrc, a bantamweight journeyman jack of all trades takes on the enigmatic wrestler Kabala “The Wizard” Magaluff. Kotrc is well rounded and would definitely have some options going into this one but he will want to avoid being underneath the ground and pound of his Israeli opponent.

Prediction: Magaluff by KO

Lukasz “Cichy” Patryk (7-20, 208lbs) vs. Ryan “The Hammer” Lock (5-16, 196lbs)

Next up is Lukasz Patryk, a polish Middleweight who has a rather unfortunate record of 7-20, looks to find success in his new home against an equally experienced veteran Ryan Lock who holds a record of 5-16. Both fighters are fairly evenly matched though Patryk’s Muay Thai could be a significant factor in the result of this fight. Both fighters would love to get a win here but it’s not going to come easy for either of them

Prediction: Draw

Mike Hagger (0-0, 266lbs) vs. Perdue “The Spider” Willshire (5-11, 142lbs)

Heavyweight wrestler Mike Hagger makes his MMA debut against experienced youngster Perdue Willshire. Only 24 years of age, Willshire has already notched up sixteen pro fights in his career though he has so far managed to lose the majority of them. Willshire’s all round skill set will give him some different options in this one while Hagger’s wrestling will have to be enough for him to get the win here.

Prediction: Hagger by Decision.

WVT II

(Friday 29th March - Hyashi's Lounge, Las Vegas)

MAIN EVENT:

Fletch “Skeeter” Brandis (16-7, 235lbs) vs. Dominique “The Alligator” Bell (20-14, 139lbs)

Next up we have solid veteran Fletch “Skeeter” Brandis taking on the diminutive submission wizard Dominique “The Alligator” Bell. Brandis has had a decent career so far though despite have a couple of opportunities to capture a title, a gold belt has as yet eluded him. Perhaps WVT is the place to finally do so but first of all he will need to navigate his way past the tricky grappling skills of Dominique Bell. Bell has had a long career and will be coming in with a record of 20-14. He is a former Island champion at 135lbs and has even fought as high as 155lbs but this will be his first taste of open weight combat so it will be interesting to see how he does against the much larger Brandis. Brandis has it on the feet. Bell on the ground though admittedly by a smaller amount. Brandis is currently in the better form and with more to lose than Bell, and so might just be the more motivated to get off to a big start in his new home.

Prediction: Brandis by KO

CO-MAIN EVENT:

Monte Zuma (26-18, 255lbs) vs. Ray “The King of Kings” Mancini (16-15, 123lbs)

Something of a one off exhibition fight we have heavyweight Monte Zuma taking on flyweight KT star Ray Mancini. This bout is also a little extra intriguing due to both fighters coming from the same management alliance. On paper Zuma looks to hold all the cards in this one but Mancini is no slouch on the feet and will be coming into this with a record of 16 Ko’s out of 19 wins. Could he use his speed and cunning to pull off the upset? We will just have to wait and see.

Prediction: Zuma by KO

Francisco “The Count” Babyara (11-8, 270lbs) vs. “The Hunk” Jack Dawson (13-11, 270lbs)

What a fight ladies and gentleman! Two massively exciting fighters have arrived at the WVT and will face off against each other in their very first outing. Francisco Babyara is a striker who cares not one bit about his lack of submission skills and has managed to carve out an 11-8 record as well as some decent scalps along the way. One of those scalps it should be mentioned is his opponent tonight, Jack Dawson. Dawson enjoys a winning record of 13-11 but isn’t currently in the best of form. He will need to step things up a gear if he is to exact revenge for his first round KO loss at the hands of Babyara at the beginning of the year. Whatever happens on the night, this one isn’t expected to go the distance. With a big KO on the horizon, it just comes down to what one of these heavyweights is going to land first.

Prediction: Babyaya by KO

Niko Marcell (12-2, 274lbs) vs. Jimmy “El Terror” Henderson (7-8, 209lbs)

Another decent prospect to arrive in the WVT is heavyweight jack of all trades, Niko Marcell. Marcell has developed a bit of a reputation for being hard to work with and has managed to go through several managers during his early career. He seems to have found someone he works well with now however and will be coming into this fight on a two fight win streak. His opponent Jimmy Henderson has fought in a few orgs so far and it’s fair to say has faced some highs and lows. His best success has come as a submission fighter and it will be interesting to see how he deals with the weight advantage of his opponent should the fight hit the mat.

Prediction: Marcell by KO

Cyrius “The Snake” Python (10-9, 167lbs) vs. Brock Steve (7-2, 146lbs)

Next up, experienced all rounder Cyrius Python takes on 7-2 up and comer Brock Steve. Python has fought in a few different orgs and has always managed to compete at a decent level. Finding a new home with the WVT it is hoped that at worst Python would be a solid gatekeeper to the upper levels. Whether Python will be happy with that assertion is another thing but he will have his chance to move beyond that as he takes on prospect Brock Steve. Steve has yet to fight in 2019 so there may be a little ring rust to shake off. Otherwise this is set to be an enjoyable scrap with perhaps Steve coming in as the slight favourite.

Prediction: Steve by Dec

Umberto “Gorro” Grena (12-20, 169lbs) vs. “Gyilkos Mokusok” Altintop Palonesess (7-18, 154lbs)

This one should be a fun one folks. Two experienced and evenly matched journeyman fighters go head to head where nothing aside from superior tactics will win on the night. Grena, slightly heavier then his opponent will have the smallest of disadvantages in the stand up but he does have a better record of KO’s and a little more experience. Not a fight that is going to mean much outside of the WVT but definitely one that will be interesting to see play out.

Prediction: Palonesess by Decision

Maung Maung Thu (0-1, 135lbs) vs. Marcin “Prince” Vanna (10-12, 155lbs)

Young striker Muang Muang Thu will get another opportunity to gain experience in the cage when he takes on veteran journeyman Marcin Vanna. Thu, coming into the fight with an 0-1 record, will be looking to put on a strong striking display but will need to be extremely careful of Vanna’s submission game along with his nine submissions out of ten victories.

Prediction: Vanna by Submission

Bunnur Marbleforge (6-3, 185lbs) vs. “Red Ribbon Army’s” Android Seventeen Version Two (0-0, 145lbs)

BJJ Brown belt Bunnur Marbleforge makes a return to the pro ranks after spending the last couple of fights in the amateur QFC leagues. He will have a rather large experience advantage as he takes on MMA debutante Android Seventeen Version Two who will know very little about other than the fact he comes from the notorious ranks of Raichu Kong’s android fighters. Most likely set to go down as a grappler versus striker match up, Marbleforge should be the heavy betting favourite in this one and will not want to be embarrassed in his first outing in a new home.

Prediction: Marbleforge by Submission

Akkan Kubilay (10-2, 161lbs) vs. Abraham Lawrence (0-1, 195lbs)

Akkan Kubilay was once a highly sought after young prospect. After going 9-2 in his early career, life seemed to get in the way for Kubilay and he seemed to have stepped away from the MMA game. He made a brief return before the end of 2018 but then disappeared once more. Now back and under new management once again, Kubilay has found a home in the WVT and the submission specialist looks ahead to rebuilding his once growing reputation. He faces rookie Abraham Lawrence who is only really looking to gain experience at this point.

Prediction: Kubilay by Submission

Maciej “Highlander” Gorski (6-19, 156lbs) vs. Magnus “Russian Destroyer” Fjeld (14-16, 343lbs)

True open weight combat next as Polish featherweight takes on enormous Russian monster Magnus Fjeld. Fjeld, who weighs in at around 343lbs currently, was initially expected to be something of a player in the new World Vale Tudo fight league but disappointed those that had made efforts to sign him when he declined a tougher fight against an opponent he had previously beaten some time ago. With Fjeld’s courage and confidence in himself now in question perhaps this would be an opportunity for his opponent Gorski to step up and make an instant name for himself by defeating the super-heavyweight monster?

Prediction: Fjeld by KO

This is going to be pretty hilarious. There's a guy that weighs over 400lbs. I'd love to see that fight lol!

Raichu will fight him !

Ok honest to God I did not check the weight lol , saw he had elite striking and clicked accept. I didn`t even click it was Raichu`s fighter I was just happy to keep Monte fighting.

For whatever reason I have a feeling he connects and Zuma loses this one. All it takes is literally 1 hit lol.
