  1. First train a fighters useless ability for 1 session with an elite coach (only 1 fighter training with the coach). After that, go to skill snapshot, choose the ability you trained, right click on the red bar and then inspect element. Skim through the lines until you find a number with a percentage (single digit number with decimals). Multiply that number by 150 WITH the % and voila, you got it.
  2. Since I can't cut him due to the 15 day restriction I'll try making him a ground guy. Thanks for letting me know though. Now I know his KO power isn't that good lol. Interesting coincidence, My 3rd fighter got 7.2 learning speed and now I'm waiting for his hiddens. Judging from what you said even if his hiddens suck he will still do well cause of his ability to get high skills quicker?
  3. While we're on the topic, I got another fighter who ended up with 5.7 speed, just waiting for the test fight which is in 12 hours. Just to confirm, 5.7 learning speed is good right?
  4. Gonna have to wait about 2 weeks before I can sack again. in the meantime I'll train him a little and test him 1 more time incase he pops a nice hidden. If not he's going in the bin. Thanks for all your advice everyone.
  5. Crazy KO power. I didn't expect Simard to get KO'd especially in round 1. Congrats on the win, #1 rank and well deserved fight of the night award, Rambo.
  6. I'm still not completely familiar with how hiddens work and what's important for a younger fighter so I figured I'd ask on the forums for advice. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=1020076 My fighter is on the left who won the fight and his learning speed is 5.1. I've been told to sack before the test fight cause of the speed but I wanted to see how his hiddens were first and right now I don't know which choice to make. Thanks in advance.
  7. I think he made the post cause he already has made multiple offers there for a while but no one's accepted it yet.
  8. Figured I'd share this since I got nothing better to do, also because I'm a bit flabbergasted and intrigued that judges screwing you out of a win is in this game. Adds to the realism which is what I like. Enjoy http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=1020104 Fun fact: I made my fighter a wrestler with 0 takedown offense...and instead put the points into knees because...I don't know why either I can't read or I'm a fucking moron...Probably a major part in why I lost honestly lol.
  9. These are absolutely top notch! I'm looking forward to participating in future bids once I get a bit richer. Keep up the excellent work.
  10. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1597576646YB_SOL_2_poster-min.png Syn YB Sol Round 2: Preview and Predictions Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the 2nd round of Syn YB Sol! I'm Parriyah and I'll be giving you a little preview of what's to come. Tyson Cobb (SYN 1-0-0) VS Torkel Bystrom (SYN 1-0-0) The first fight to continue the 2nd round of Syn YB Sol is a bout between Tyson Cobb and Torkel Bystrom. Bystrom, having fought with regular MMA, KT, and TGWC rules is no stranger to any martial art and has shown how versatile he can be in the octagon. Cobb is an elite level striker with mesmerizing quick hands and lethal kicks. Bystrom's versatility won't be too useful because of Cobb's superior wrestling and BJJ but his evenly matched stand up will be utilized the most. Bystrom has the stronger chin while Cobb brings with himself what many fighters lack, Heart, determination, excellent knock out power, and the will to never surrender, even when in big trouble. Cobb has the potential to crack his opponent's chin, but will Bystrom be able to get past Cobb's iron will? Tune in to find out who the first fighter to get to the next stage of the tournament is! Prediction: Tyson Cobb via 2nd round TKO. Arjen Lucassen (SYN 9-8-0) VS Rodney Alcala (SYN 0-0-0) Lucassen makes his return to Syn after fighting for CFC against a Syn debuting Rodney Alcala. Lucassen, while having the skill advantage with every martial art, Alcala has the age advantage at 27 years old. This battle isn't their first time against each other in the octagon, with Alcala securing a win over Lucassen with a 2nd round TKO to win the CFC championship. Lucassen's goal will be to utilize his superior martial art skill to prove he can hang with the young buck, while Alcala's goal is to prove his first win over the Swedish beast wasn't a fluke. Prediction: Rodney Alcala via Unanimous Decision http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/37/37b21.jpg VS http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15221886697552.jpg Jorge "The Collosus" Cruz Jr (SYN 1-0-0) "The Surgeon Leonid Martinyuk (SYN 1-0-0) Up next we have the second fight of the tournament, between Jorge Cruz Jr and Leonid Martinyuk. Both fighters are top-level strikers who leave it all out in the octagon, barely allowing any of their fights to end in a decision if at all. Martinyuk has the rare mindset of "KO or be KO'd." with every single one of his matches ending in a (T)KO. Given their top-notch chins and heavy hands, It's safe to say that won't be changing with this fight. Do not turn away, get distracted, or even blink at any point of this fight or you might miss a potential knock out of the year! Prediction: Jorge Cruz via 3rd round KO. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15265777823149.jpg VS http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14425296156755.jpg Slammy Neckbreaker (SYN 0-0-0) Sambulo "The Whirlwind" Yeboah (SYN 0-1-0) Much like the Lucassen and Alcala matchup, Neckbreaker has age on his side at 27 years old compared to Yeboah who is 40. Yeboah's "Jack of all trades AND master of all" has been a big part of his success, putting his opponents away either by submission or on the feet. The only thing letting him down is his chin which Neckbreaker will take advantage of with his brilliant knock out power which is evident in 15 of his victories via (T)KO. While Neckbreaker is outclassed against Yeboah's Muay Thai, he outclasses Yeboah with his superior wrestling which will force Sambulo to keep the fight standing where the CFC champion's biggest weakness is exposed, his chin. Prediction: Slammy Neckbreaker via 1st round TKO. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14390840437078.png VS http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15495071512571.jpg Kilo "Bloodbath" Maluga (SYN 1-0-0) Cedric Simard (SYN 1-0-0) Here comes the main event of the evening and the final bout for the 2nd round of the Syn YB Sol tournament, between Kilo "Bloodbath" Maluga and Cedric Simard. On paper, Maluga is the better fighter, outclassing Simard in every field other than BJJ, where he has his sensational takedown defense to prevent it from being much trouble. On the other hand, Simard has an unnaturally strong chin that hasn't gotten cracked in his career, which can give Simard a window of opportunity to get Maluga to the mat and force a tap out. Simard's dirty boxing is also very underrated but is unlikely it will cause any issues for Maluga. Prediction: Kilo Maluga via Unanimous Decision Don't forget to tune in on the 23rd of August, 11 AM (GMT-7) to see who moves to the next stage. I'm Parriyah and it's been a pleasure sharing this with you!
  11. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1597350238timewave-zero.jpg Syn Timewave Zero: Preview and Prediction Howlin Wolf (SYN 0-0-0) VS Rick Piano (SYN 2-6-0) Howlin Wolf makes his Syn debut against Rick Piano. Both fighters are former top 50 P4P fighters who are evenly skilled in every category other than Wolf's black belt in BJJ which won't be an issue for Piano's ungodly takedown defense. Wolf will have the advantage going into this fight because of his granite chin. While Piano has more than enough power to crack the chin, Wolf also has very good KO power which works in his favour because of Piano's weaker chin compared to his. The only outcome of this fight will be a (T)KO. The raw power of both of these gentlemen won't let the judges affect this matchup. Prediction: Howlin Wolf via 2nd round TKO Frank Stein (SYN 6-6-0) VS Donald Trumpet (SYN 0-0-0) Coming off of a 1st round TKO loss to Pekka Toivonen, Stein will be looking to give Trumpet a rude welcoming on his debut to go back to his winning ways and back to title contention. Stein outclasses Trumpet skill-wise, but Trumpet can capitalize on Stein's chin that has been weakened by the 11 (T) KOs he has suffered over the years to add to the records. If Trumpet keeps his winning streak going, there's no doubt that he will be one step closer to getting a shot at Synchronicity gold. Prediction: Frank Stein Via Unanimous decision. Elliot Rockwell (SYN 3-3-0) VS Jaheim Reid (SYN 1-1-0) UK's own Elliot Rockwell will be looking to cement his legacy further by securing a win over the former #3 Middleweight, Jaheim Reid. Reid's Achilles heel being him having trouble finishing his opponents will be an advantage for Rockwell as he has good knockout power along with a good chin to go along with it. While it will be tough for Rockwell to get past Reid's titanium chin, he won't have to worry too much about his own in the stand-up game unless Reid decided to utilize his superior wrestling and BJJ to pressure the UK pretty boy. Prediction: Elliot Rockwell Via 3rd round KO. Maxim Menshikov (SYN 3-2-0) VS Super Meat Boy (SYN 7-8-0) Maxim Menshikov while holding a better Win/Loss record with Syn, struggles skill-wise against one of his toughest matches yet, against Super "Butcher" Meat Boy. Menshikov's trump card will be to be patient and sway past Meat Boy's lethal kicks to find an opening using his elite-level boxing. However, if Meat Boy succeeds in pressuring Maxim with his fast hands and high kick kill shots, there won't be much Menshikov will be able to do. It comes down to who can execute their gameplan better. Prediction: Super Meat Boy Via head kick KO in the 2nd round. Junkyard Dog (SYN 18-11-0) VS Iso Paa (SYN 0-0-0) Iso Paa will be making his Syn debut against one of the organization's best and most beloved, Junkyard "JYD" Dog. JYD's versatility will be a key factor for him to be able to secure his 19th victory with Syn over Paa. Being able to keep the fight standing and to take it to the ground to force submissions at will. That versatility comes at a cost, however. JYD's chin against Paa's raw power will be his downfall if the fight is kept standing for longer than it should. Paa's granite chin and knock out power can cause trouble for JYD's chin, which is where his ability to also finish fights on the ground comes in handy. If Paa executes a sprawl and brawl style flawlessly, it could be a long night for his opponent. Prediction: Iso Paa upset victory Via 2nd round TKO.
  12. I appreciate it, Rocket. I'll be working on making them more creative soon. There's no doubt about the fact that Rudy and Abdel are gonna put on a great show. I'm predicting a fight of the night with an 85% or higher match rating.
  13. Hey everyone. I'm going to be writing for Synchronicity starting today. This is my first write up for the event, Syn The Gate on the 22nd of august. I'll be trying to improve the quality with each event that passes. For now, I hope the quality suffices. Once again a big thanks to Chuck for giving me this opportunity. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1597024066synthegate.jpg Syn The Gate Akio Kurosaki (SYN 2-1-0) VS Coral Sea (SYN 1-1-1) These two fighters will be facing each other for the first time. With both fighters coming off of a win, only one will leave the octagon with their winning streak still intact. Their uncrackable chins and determination to never back down from a brawl will make for a very long and exciting fight. Kurosaki's superior Muay Thai gives him the advantage in the stand-up. Sea's ability to be able to stand and bang while having excellent ground game will buy him time to be able to utilize his wrestling and BJJ Skillset to force a tap out. Prediction: Akio Kurosaki via Unanimous Decision. Xun Zemin (SYN 0-0-0) VS Jimmy Carl Black (SYN 1-2-1) Xun Zemin will be making his SYN debut against Jimmy Carl Black who has already had four fights in the organization. Zemin's unbeatable chin has never come close to ever getting cracked but that could be changed due to JCB's monster knock out power and it not being the first time he's been able to finish other fighters with granite chins via KO. Zemin's superior boxing will cause problems for Black. however, JCB's brilliant Muay Thai allows for more versatility in the clinch. Even if the fight doesn't end with a finish, their endless cardio will allow for a long-lasting brawl to the judge's scorecards. Prediction: Xun Zemin via 3rd round TKO. Rocco Marciano (SYN 13-12-0) VS Biff Raper (SYN 1-0-0) The SYN veteran, Rocco Marciano is coming off of 2 losses into this bout while Biff Raper is fresh off of a win from his debut in SYN. Both fighters are evenly matched with decent chins and their incredible finishing ability to go along with it. Their mindset of "KO or be KO'd" will be leading to them trading blows over and over until one of them collapses to the floor which gives the fans more than their money's worth. Prediction: Biff Raper via 2nd round KO. Leonardo Davincible (SYN 2-1-0) VS Ivan Samsonov (SYN 2-0-0) Davincible is a world-class stand-up fighter who has fought with both MMA rules and KT rules which gives him an advantage into this bout against Samsonov who is also an excellent striker with submission abilities. Having the weaker stand-up game compared to his opponent, Samsonov will have to use his BJJ skills to take Davincible to the mat and look for a submission. Samsonov's chin will give him enough time to be able to grapple with Davincible if he can push past his elite takedown defense. Prediction: Davincible via 3rd round TKO. Abdel Mumu 3.0 ( SYN 8-4-2) VS Rudy Rhod (SYN 17-10-1) Abdel Mumu has been on a tear ever since his management change, having won 4 out of his last 5 fights with one of them being a win over Tapani Kansalainen for the 155lbs championship. Just like his opponent, Rudy Rhod has also won 4 of his last fights, each one of them being via decision. Because of their difficulty to finish in their recent matches and their titanium chins, the odds of their bout ending in any other method other than via the judge's scorecards is low. That doesn't mean they won't go to war, though, as they can dish out as much punishment as they can take. Prediction Abdel Mumu regains his title via Majority Decision.
  14. What's the usual length for writeups? All I've come across are pretty long.
