  1. Well I think my original idea can always be tinkered. I as well wouldn't want a fighter who is terrible in all aspects, however I think it would be reasonable to assume any given person if fighting and enough training could get decent in each discipline. Something along the lines of all fighters can get upto 9 in each discipline/subdiscipline, they are guaranteed at least 12+ in another, but of course they could rack 15s across the board if lucky.

    Attending Fights

I think that in terms of tickets sales even to keep things simple you wouldn't need to adjust the attendance, part of the increased fee fighters would pay over regular fans is to get set up ring side in chairs that are not usually available, also making them more available for interviews/photo ops, so it would be all upside, extra cash for the org and some hype, the interesting thing is how do the orgs lure the top p4p guys for the biggest ratings
  3. I would like to see an implementation in the game where your fighters can attend a fight for the cost of admission. It would take the place of that nights training slot, so you do miss out on training, and the cost of admission (say 1k?) but in return your fighter gains extra energy, morale, and if they are 'featured' in the crowd they can get a small hype boost. On the organization front, if a top fighter from another organization is present at your event your organization can get some extra fans as well.
  4. Thanks for the advice guys, my training and slides have been updated to reflect the new game plan
  5. Well that is the goal, I just didn't know what specifically I should be training on the ground for the next few weeks to ensure I last long enough to submit him.
  6. Hello, My idea for the game revolves around two separate ideas. The first idea is the idea of a different max potential for each of the components (box/mt/wr/bjj) as hidden attributes at birth that are revealed through training from the coaches. I know this game isn't meant to mimic real life however I think this would bring a new training/tactical level to the game. There are countless examples of fighters who are natural in one aspect of the fight game or another, and despite how much training other athletes do, while they obviously get better they hit a plateau. This is seen all the time as standup fighters attempt to learn to defend themselves on the ground, or bjj guys attempt to develop a striking game, they develop into well rounded fighters, yet regardless of how many hours they dedicate to a specific areas they never catch the 'naturals' The second idea is different learning speeds in different areas. The second idea is building off the learning speed already in the game. This idea rings true to me when I think of GSP. The speed in which he was able to bring his wrestling up was amazing, beating fighters with wrestling specific pedigress (Matt Hughes, Josh Koschek, Sean Sherk, Jon Fitch), where as some other aspects of his game didn't improve at the same amazing speed. I feel like if either of or both of these ideas were implemented that it would bring more decisions into the game. Not every top fighter will be 14/15 across the board and would bring a lot of variety to the game.
  7. Hello, I have a fighter who is a BJJ style guy (brown belt), who is against a wrestler who seems to win from strikes so I'm assuming GnP. I have a few weeks to train and can of course change my slides- what should my fighter be doing to counter act him.. His wrestling is much high I have a brown belt to his blue belt Thanks!
  8. Thanks for all the advice guys, thats a shame that the ground game is broken, I find it a big draw...If only standup is viable it feels like a boxing simulator
  9. Hey guys! For personal reasons I am drawn to fighters who excel at wrestling and bjj, however I have read some that standup is much stronger. Overall what is the viability of ground only fighters, and if you were to make a new 18yo fight what we he look like initially?
  10. New Coaches! We have brought on 3 more coaches, and still offering cheap training for up and coming fighters at only $300 a week!
  11. Hello! I was wondering if anyone could explain to me how I can figure out if my fighters are quick learners or are duds? Thanks
  12. We now have an amazing Nutrition partner, stocking the vending machines full!!
