  1. There were a couple for Simmons: And he made an appearance on Dirk's skin too:
  2. A few REALLY old ones: When Mike introduced the ordering cap and probably my favorite skin:
  3. Need to buy 3/6/12 months VIP. I don't have a ton of ingame cash, please PM me your best offers http://www.mmatycoon.com/managerprofilemanager.php?MgrID=1422
  4. Only the world championships happen every two years. The regional and national competitions are more frequent. i reffereed a bunch of them in the last couple years. But you are right, IBJJF rules competitions are more common. I don't like advantages since they are more subjective and probably a lot harder to program
  5. I posted them based on ADCC rules in the developers forum, and Mike made a few changes. This is what I posted: Posted 07 September 2013 - 08:43 PM I think a points based system makes more sense, is less subjective and more realistic. Something like ADCC: • Passing the guard = 3 points • Knee on stomach = 2 points • Mount position = 2 points • Back mount with hooks = 3 points • Takedown (ends Guard or Half Guard) = 2 points • Clean Takedown (ends passed the guard) = 4 points • Sweeps (ends Guard or Half Guard) = 2 points • Clean Sweep (ends passed the guard) = 4 points I don't think you should be penalized for pulling guard. Only ADCC does that. IBJJF doesn't nor does any other to my knowledge. But you don't get points for it either. EDIT: Remember that you have to hold the position for 3 sec, so if he passes directly into mount, he doesn't get 3+2, he just gets the higher score of 3
  6. The clothing and supp businesses are so messed up that laundry is really the only way they stay in business. Unless the core problems are fixed, these shops will close if laundry goes down.

    Grapling org

I helped start HBGG and this is what Mike said at the time when I asked about 'official' grappling orgs
  8. Just negotiate direct payment with orgs, problem solved
  9. That was my first thought when I saw the thread title. FOTY that year iirc. Here's a HL of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjNoXuvvZtY
  10. I think if the company is done AND the manager no longer plays, it's not a huge deal. But if the company is done and the manager has moved on, you should talk to him first.
  11. Stopping the fight has absolutely NOTHING to do with how much a guy is tapping or if his opponent is out cold. You stop ONLY when the ref calls it. Hendo didn't hit Bisping after the ref stopped it. Though he did admit after that emotions got the best of him and probably didn't need the flying forearm. This guys history is what seals it for me. - He's shown unsportsmanlike conduct at least 4 times in pro fights, twice in the UFC - Has done the same thing in grappling matches - Has been suspended twice by two different athletic commissions (3 times now, since he got 120 days from the Brazilian AC for the Pierce fight) - Has tested positive for elevated testosterone levels - Has never admitted or shown that he understands that what he does is wrong. This time he blamed Pierce and the referee. - His former coach, MMA legend Murilo Bustamante, said he would do this shit in practice with teammates. As a guy who trains BJJ and really loves the ground game in MMA, I wish he wasn't an ass because his stills are really something to watch. His armbar from back mount on Salaverry was one of my favorite all time subs. But this guy has no business competing at the upper level (if at all) if he hasn't learned by now.
  12. That's from Murilo Bustamante, one of the most respected guys in the game. LINK
  13. He feels the tap, sees or feels the ref dive in like Superfly Snuka, then gives it one last crank for good measure. Watch his right arm closely. The way his elbow rotates towards the sky. That's not miscommunication or his foot being stuck or anything else. That's how you crank on a heel hook, and It's a dick move. http://d3j5vwomefv46c.cloudfront.net/photos/large/814119262.gif?1381362872
  14. Plus he was busted for TRT after his last fight. Good riddance. EDIT: After watching it again, I noticed he actually cranks on it MORE after the referee gets there. Douchebaggery level 10
  15. I have the links to two torrents that will give you all the PRIDE events. One for PRIDE PPVs (72gb) and one for the Bushidos (22gb) PM me ingame if you are interested.
