Hello, fight fans, and welcome back to BFC: Unleashed! Tonight, we have got an absolutely amazing show for you. BFC 25: Rhymes vs Bell took place at The Pipeline and was headlined by the long awaited light heavyweight title match between Stringer Bell and Busta Rhymes. But before we get to that, let's take a look at this unbelievable undercard!

Getting things underway was the debut of Francisco Mir III against Jack Stone. Stone is the veteran of two Blitzkrieg bouts and let Mir III know that this was his house. Mir III just couldn't seem to get his hands on him with punches or takedowns. The elusive Stone hammered away at his neophyte opponent, robbing him of the opportunity to make a successful debut. At 1:35 of the very first round, Stone improved to 2-1 and takes home the Hell's Balls Fightwear KO of the Night.

After that, Scott Hammerston entered the cage opposite Kris Napiera. Hammerston really wanted this fight on the mat, but couldn't seem to get anything done once he got there. Napiera, on the other hand, was a one man wrecking machine. In the second round, Napiera landed repeated blows to his opponent who collapsed under the barrage of strikes at the 3:10 mark.

In the third bout of the evening, Uncle Dad and Andrei Arlovski faced off in the heavyweight division. Both men came out swinging and the fans knew it was only a matter of time before someone took one right on the button. Fortunately, the fans didn't have to wait long as Dad landed a monstrous hook that left Arlovski snoring on the canvas just 73 seconds into the very first round.

A scheduled bout between Uri Petrenko and Huaka i Po was cancelled when Petrenko failed to even show up for the bout. Rumors are flying around, but the one that seems to be gaining the most ground is that Petrenko, the victim of a recent particularly nasty knock out, was simply afraid of what might happen if he took further brain damage from a clean shot by Po who is known for his brutal power. We'll let you know if we hear an official response.

Back to the action, Jamie Maddrox and Randy Bain tangled at 185 pounds. Both fighters came prepared for a grappling battle. Maddrox mixed up strikes with submissions while Bain looked only for the ground and pound. Bain clearly won the first round, but the last two were very tough to score. After three rounds of back and forth action, all three judges saw the fight for Bain.

In light heavyweight action, John Malat faced Raul de la Madrugada. This was a quick one as de la Madrugada instigated the clinch, but got taken down. Malat stood back up almost immediately and unloaded a combination that gave de la Madrugada his first loss in under thirty seconds.

Following that, Josh Wentworth squared off against Jimmy London. This fight earned neither fighter any fans. They both were content to take each other down and just sit and wait. Despite boos from the crowd and the referee advising them to stay active, neither fighter offered much in the way of offense. Wentworth attempted a handful of submissions in the first two rounds, but by the third round, even he had given up on putting on an entertaining fight. Absolutely dreadful performance by both fighters. After three rounds, Wentworth was awarded the majority decision.

Next, Thor Wood attempted to keep his unbeaten streak going against Benoit Kong. Wood made Kong look like a rookie in what was an unbelievable beating. Kong seemed to stay back and look for his perfect shot. Unfortunately for him, the opportunity never came. Wood absolutely mauled him in the clinch and finished him off with a thunderous head kick 39 seconds into the second round. Kong survived a lot of punishment, but it eventually took its toll. For that incredible display of determination and heart, both men will share the Hell's Balls Fightwear Fight of the Night.

In the co-main event of the evening, Hawkeye Pierce put his undefeated record on the line against the very tough Tom Foolery. Pierce came out with guns blazin' and tried to mix his strikes with takedowns. Foolery showed his experience by beating Pierce to the punch and avoiding damage. After three rounds of action, it was clear that Foolery had won the fight.

In the main event of the evening, Busta Rhymes put his unblemished record and light heavyweight title on the line against rising star Stringer Bell. Rhymes seemed to have some trouble taking Bell to the mat and this gave Bell plenty of time to pick his shots and land hard punches on his opponent. Bell put Rhymes on wobbily legs in the second, and Rhymes never seemed to fully recover. With less than a minute in the second round, Stringer Bell connected with a beautiful hook that seperated the champion from his senses. With that, Bell has handed Rhymes his first loss and become only the second man to have the Blitzkrieg light heavyweight belt around his waist!

I'm speechless! Up until this point, Rhymes has looked simply unbeatable! He's finished 8 of his 9 opponents by submission and for Stringer Bell to shrug off his submission attempts and keep chipping away with strikes... wow! Just wow! Unbelievable performance! All of tonight's victors have to be happy. To win on this stage really means something. Until next time, thanks for tuning in!

Once again BFC: Unleashed his here to bring you all the latest and greatest from Blitzkrieg Fighting Championship. Tonight, we will discuss BFC 26: The Ultimate Manager Round II. This event takes us one step closer to discovering which manager can best mold a budding talent and turn him into a world class warrior. In addition, you'll see some of the other Blitzkrieg contenders trying to claw their way to the top.

To get things under way, the very experienced Tim Taylor faced 1-1 Tarcisio Pell. Taylor absolutely refused to engage with Pell. After a handful of takedown attempts, Taylor spent the last ten minutes of the bout just trying to avoid being hit. Pell was far from accurate, but the damage he did earned him the unanimous decision.

In the second bout of the night, Hanz Titties and Bob Wilson faced each other in the quarter finals of TUM. This fight didn't exactly thrill the attending audience as neither fighter was able to land any significant offense. Titties swung wildly and landed only a couple strikes. Wilson was content to take his opponent down and just wait for the bell. After three rounds, the fans were just happy it was over but the judges awarded the fight to Wilson.

In further TUM action, Eli Gull and Pappy Boyington entered the arena. Boyington dodge a couple punches and unleashed a volley of brain-jarring shots at Gull. A strong right crashed into Gull's jaw and sent him tumbling to the ground. Boyington smelled blood and didn't relent until the referee pulled him away and waved off the fight.

Then, Don Sellic and Jarmo Myllys vied for a spot in The Ultimate Manager semi-finals. Both fighters came out swinging with everything they had. Myllys shrugged off a punch to the head and answered back with a combination that collapsed Sellic's legs underneath him. Sellic couldn't recover in time and the referee was forced to end the fight just 32 seconds into the very first round. Myllys will now move on to face Pappy Boyington.

In the final TUM bout of the night, Shane Falco squared off against Blitzkrieg Friedhelm. This fight was a wild barn burner with "classic" written all over it. Falco and Friedhelm came out throwing bombs back and forth with neither man showing any signs of giving up. Falco battered the legs of Friedhelm with kicks and bounced his head around with punches. Friedhelm would not relent and kept coming forward to throw haymakers. After three rounds, all three judges saw the fight for Falco who moves on to face Bob Wilson.

After that, Nkuku Ngbendu wa Za Banga and Bo Jaxon clashed in the lightweight division. Jaxon was successful in dragging the fight to the ground, but failed to mount any offense once there. Wa Za Banga, however, was nearly flawless with his strikes and opened up a very deep gash above Jaxon's eye. As the fight wore on, Jaxon began to look like an extra from a horror film and the doctor called an end to the fight at 1:55 of the second round.

Next, Duane Lee Chapman entered the cage opposite Gangles McGee. Neither man was interested in a grappling bout and decided to come out swinging. McGee peppered Chapman with punches to the head, but Chapman answered back with vicious shots. Chapman showed his power by dropping McGee late in the first round. McGee didn't seem fully recovered as he came out for round two and suffered the same fate. This time, the flood of strikes forced the referee to call off the fight. With that, Chapman earns himself the Hell's Balls Fightwear KO of the Night!

In heavyweight action, Resial Nine and Matthew Whelan showed up ready for war. Whelan would have liked to work his boxing game, but Nine continually kept him on his heels with takedown attempts. Whelan looked comfortable defending submissions in the first and came out prepared to do more of the same. However, Nine knew time was not on his side as a cut started to form over his eye. Nine started the second round with a powerful takedown and advanced to rear mount. Whelan tried desperately to escape, but was forced to tap to the rear naked choke less than a minute into the second round. Nine will take home the Hell's Balls Fightwear Submission of the Night for that display of grappling wizardry.

In the co-main event of the evening, former BFC heavyweight champion Gino Carano faced John Silver. Silver set the pace of the fight with a brutal head kick that seemed to put Carano in serious trouble. From there, Carano just never seemed to be the same. Silver took his legs away with thudding leg kicks and absolutely mauled him in and out of the clinch. Carano tried to get back into the fight but was obviously outmatched standing. Silver took the unanimous decision and handed Carano his second loss in a row since winning the heavyweight title. Is this the start of a BFC curse? Let's hope not, because both of these guys are sharing the Hell's Balls Fightwear Fight of the Night.

In the main event of the evening, Bang McGee faced Johny Jones in a bout to determine the #1 contender for the light heavyweight title. Jones knew his best chances were on the ground, but after a lack of action, the fighters were stood up. McGee, realizing he had to move quick to avoid another takedown, sent a punch combination to Jones' skull that left him completely lifeless on the mat. Jones recovered a moment later but for a few seconds there it was scary! At 2:52 of the very first round, McGee was declared the victor and number one contender!

Wow! On the first portion of the card you have these amazing newcomers attempting to show that their manager is the best in the biz. On the main portion, you've got crazy wars, brutal knockouts and tendon tearing submissions. This is what Blitzkrieg is all about! And we'll see you next time as we bring you even more of this unbelievable action!

Welcome back to BFC: Unleashed! Tonight we've got another incredible show capped by an unbelievable heavyweight title fight. BFC 27: Sushi vs. Gable took place at The Pipeline and was packed with fans hungry for more Blitzkrieg action. Without further ado, let's get to the fights!

The evening began with a bang as Orlando Johnson went to war with Nils Kositzky. Before the fans could even take their seats, Kositzky had put Johnson on his back. This was the recurring theme for the fight as Johnson spent most of the fight avoiding ground and pound and trying to gain an advantage. After three rounds of action, all three judges saw the fight for Kositzky.

Following that, Jun Fan attempted to get his first professional win against Can Wupass. In a fight that can best be described as a less merciful version of a public caning, Wupass avoided every takedown attempt of Fan while destroying him with strikes. Everything Wupass threw landed and Fan had absolutely no answer. After three lopsided rounds, all three judges scored the fight 30-24 for Wupass.

In the third bout of the night, Grandmaster Yip Man faced Eddie Kessler in the featherweight division. Yip Man came out with brutal intentions. Kessler didn't have time to even think about fighting back before Yip Man connected with a powerful hook that left him unconscious. Yip Man takes home the victory and the Hell's Balls Fightwear KO of the Night for that brutal KO.

Then, Jonas Torsted entered the cage with Nickolas Bryant. Torsted was determined to get the one punch knockout and was swinging with all his power. Bryant took his chances striking with him, but only used this to set up his takedowns. Once on the mat, Bryant hammered away at Torsted. Torsted stayed strong and kept fighting back until 3:45 of the third round when the referee stepped in to save him from needless injury. However, both fighters will share the Hell's Balls Fightwear Fight of the Night for this epic battle.

In welterweight action, Kiedis Grayson and Hilo BJJ battled to determine who would keep their undefeated streak. Grayson was only able to land a handful of punches before being taken down. BJJ failed with a few submissions, but showed an impressive ground game. To start the second round, BJJ switched up his tactics and began throwing heavy strikes from the top position. Grayson could not weather the storm and the referee waved off the fight at 3:01 of the second round.

After that, Thomas Sawyer clashed with the unbeaten Jacob Collins. Despite numerous attempts, Sawyer failed to get Collins to the floor. Collins threw heavy leather and had Sawyer in trouble on multiple occasions. At 4:41 of the second round, Sawyer was finally knocked out cold by a vicious punch combination.

In a stunning display of flippancy, Tyrone Phillips failed to even get on the plane for Hilo. With that, Bing Bong was left high and dry. I can't imagine this being a good sign for Phillips' continued employment.

Next, Clarence Anthony attempted to put an end to the undefeated streak of Machuchin Dillon. Unfortunately for him, this was easier said than done. Dillon beat him from post to post and from bell to bell. Anthony had no answer for the overwhelming force of Dillon and succumbed to a nasty series of strikes at 1:13 of the third round. Dillon showed just how dominant he can be and is sure to be up next for the lightweight title shot.

In the co-main event of the evening, Sven Runar and Jay Roc Jr. put their unblemished records on the line. Runar came out with blinding speed and cut Roc Jr with a quick combo. This immediately caused problems for Roc Jr who began to bleed into his own eyes. Runar took advantage and threw a powerful head kick that dropped his foe like a load of bricks. Runar dove in and began pounding away until the referee stepped in to end the bout. In just 28 seconds, Runar was declared the victor!

In the main event of the evening, Yoshi Sushi put the heavyweight title on the line against Dan Gable. Sushi dodged a handful of punches and clinched with Gable in order to setup the guard pull. However, this didn't seem to bother Gable who immediately began to drop heavy strikes from the top position. Sushi tried to lock up a submission, but soon his face was turned into hamburger. With a puddle of blood forming behind Sushi's head, the doctor came in and decided to end the bout. At 1:45 of the very first round, Dan Gable became the third man to hold the Blitzkrieg heavyweight title!

Incredible! The heavyweight division is just absolutely stacked! Can any man hold onto the title for long? We'll find out the next time Gable enters the cage. Let's hope there isn't any truth to the "Heavyweight Title Curse" rumors. Also, you have to be impressed with Dillon's performance and wonder how he'll do against Lars Olofsson. This night has been unbelievable, but as always, it's only getting better! We'll see you next time!

  • 3 weeks later...

Welcome to another addition of BFC: Unleashed I am Robb Smith and tonight we will be reviewing BFC 32 The Ultimate Manager semi finals. Tonight we will go through the fights and talk about just how big Chapman versus Rhymes mattered to all the fighters in BFC. Let's not forget the huge lightweight title fight that was between Lars Olofsson and Machuchin Dillon.

Starting the night for us we're the middleweights Nils Kositzky and Thiago Infamous, The rumor leading up to this fight was that the more experienced Thiago was going to take control and end the fight quick. The first round was really kind of stale for the first few minutes as both men we're swinging wildly and trying to get a shot in however possible. The guys we're in the clinch for quite a bit but neither guy had a significant advantage until Nils started connecting more and more. Towards the end of the round it was obvious that Nils was taking control in the clinch and on the feet as he started connecting on every punch before suddenly Thiago got ricked with heavy hands. The second round started and it was more of the same Nils got the fight in the clinch and started letting the bombs go and go it seemed at one point like Nils could do nothing wrong. The referee warned Thiago that he had to do something to stop all these shots and Nils just continued nailing him right then the referee jumped in and stopped the fight. Nils Kositzky now holds a 4-1 record and is very happy as his corner men carry him out of the octagon.

Next up we have a welterweight bout between Rumor Chance and Kiedis Grayson, Before the fight got started Chance looked really focused and once both men tapped gloves it was on. Rumor tried to clinch right away and take control once he had the clinch he was landing some nice strikes but Grayson was trying hard to defend the strikes and take the fight to the ground but could not manager either. Shortly after the two minute mark Chance started landing strike more at will then before and it looked like they we're taking there toll on Grayson. Chance scores a huge upper cut that has Grayson rocked for sure but he stays upright and try's to maintain control. Obviously hurt by the strikes Grayson is still on wobbly legs then suddenly Rumor lands a lightning quick upper cut that drops Grayson to his knee and as the fighter looks out on his knee's Rumor Chance starts unloading until he falls to the mat and the referee stops the fight.

Coming up we have a featherweight bout between Shane Falco and Bob Wilson both of these men make their way to the cage looking ready to go. The round begins and Falco is landing some nice punches at will then suddenly Bob Wilson gets the fight to the ground and take control. The guys are on the mat and Bob has the dominate position but he is not doing anything. Shane is trying hard to get this fight on the feet but has no luck. The referee stands the guys up due to the fact neither man was doing anything. Falco feels more comfortable on his feet and is swinging but is only landing a few jabs or just grazing Bob Wilson. Wilson see's Falco coming with a huge combo but can only defend a few of the shots. Wilson quickly goes for the take down and gets it and he again is in the dominate position but again he is not executing. The round comes to an end and both men are looking for some water and a breather finally the second round starts back up but will we see more of the same? The fans are getting a bit restless with the fact there has not been much action in this fight. Falco comes in and just starts throwing bombs all around looking to connect with something, he then begins to actually connect with Wilson and take control on the feet. Wilson walks right into a cross and wow is he rocked. Falco is in full control has his opponent is rather wobbly at this point, Falco lands a right hook then a left and wow he lands a spinning back fist that connects on the button and put Bob Wilson on the mat out cold.

Coming up we have a heavyweight bout between Sylvio Casamayor and Sean ORiordan, The round begins with Sean landing a hell of a jab and Sylvio is cut already. Sean ORiordan continues to land with heavy hands and the crowed can see that Sylvio and his big frame look gassed. Sean is landing more and more and then suddenly he lands a huge upper cut that puts his opponent on the mat with his eyes rolled back into his head. Phenomenal Sean ORiordan has just won this fight.

Next up we have a featherweight bout between Jarmo Myllys and Pappy Boyington, From the start of the fight it was rather noticeable these men came to fight a war. Both men start landing strikes at will and this back and forth battle has the crowed pumped. Pappy lands a big upper cut that knocks Jarmo to the ground and Pappy jumps on him hoping to end the fight as his opponent is clearly rocked. The referee stands both men up and the actions continues on the feet with the back and forth action. Pappy continues to land at will while Jarmo is not doing his best at defending each shot. Jarmo however is landing a punch here and there but clearly he is taking more then he is dishing out. The round is about to end with pappy lands a beautiful overhand right. The second round is really more of the same Pappy is owning this fight and truly taking control is every aspect the back and forth battle is still going on but Pappy clearly has the advantage. Pappy begins to land some nice leg kicks and Jarmo fights back towards the end of the round but it is not doing much for him at this point. The third and final round begins and the crowed is on their feet for this stand up war. Jarmo lands some nice shots to start the round then Pappy comes in with some jabs and the back and forth again begins as this fight is unfolding the crowed is still standing. Both men continue to try and take control but no one has a clear advantage in this round so far. Jarmo knows with each passing moment he has to do something drastic to get the win and he is trying to get the knock out but Pappy will not budge. As the five minute mark goes by the fighters continue to swing wildly. The back and forth continues with Pappy regaining control but right before the buzzer sounds Jarmo trys to land the knockout punch but just misses. This fight has gone to the judges, both fighters talking to their camps and they then embrace with one another and show respect. The fans on their feet waiting for the announcement. The judges all agree the bout went 26-30 In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Pappy Boyington!

The next bout is a middleweight bout between Christian Steggman and Yamada Taiki, The talk is all over it is now time for someone to walk out here the better man. The fight begins with both men trying to strike and they go back and forth Steggman gets the fight to the ground and quickly is trying to end this fight as he goes for a submission attempt. Yamada is in a ton of trouble if he cannot get out of this but he does and the men are on the mat still but neither is doing anything drastic and the referee stands then up. Yamada has to do something here as we pass the three minute mark but he does nothing defensive as Steggman gets the take down again and again he is trying to take control for this fight. Yamada gets back to his feet in a amazing fashion but neither man can connect. Finally Steggman nails Yamada with ahead kick and gets the double leg take down. Time is running out and does as neither man takes control on the mat and the round is over. The second round was more of the same Steggman would get the take downs and get the fight to the ground but once there he would do nothing. Steggman got the fight to the ground quite a few times and tried hard for the submission attempt but Yamada was very good at getting out of the holds and he kept himself in the fight. The round is coming to a close when Steggman gets the fight to the ground and is really controlling things here. The crowed is cheering on these men as they fight a tactical war, The Third and final round is about to begin and this round is the same as those before it both men trying hard to strike before the fight goes to the ground Steggman trys for the submission win but cannot get it. Once the fight was on the feet it did not last long and Steggman had Yamada back on the ground yet again. Yamada has to be cheered for his great efforts defensively. The fight ends and this one is going to the judges as well. The Judges call it 30-27 to your winner Christian Steggman, The respect again shown by these men as the crowed cheers.

Coming up we have a lightweight bout between Tom Foolery and Hot Chocolate Nkuku Ngbendu wa Za Banga, The round starts and Both men immediately are throwing bombs some which are landing on the button but neither fighter gets rocked and the crowed again on it's feet. Tom clearly is the better stand up fighter at this point but both men are handling things the best way they can and neither fighter looks hurt. Tom begins to throw some punches but becomes predictable and Hot Chocolate takes control and lands a nice combo. The men continue their back and forth battle as one minute passes in this fight. Za Banga lands a nice jab that catches Tom by surprise he then lands a nice kick that has Tom Foolery out on his feet. Za Banga then starts nailing Tom with strikes as Tom was not defending them the referee jumped in and stopped the fight. Nkuku Ngbendu wa Za Banga has just won this fight folks.

The Heavyweights take the fight next and we have Brock Lesnar taking on the undefeated Frank Mason. The talk leading up to this fight was that someone was going to get knocked out and that's exactly what the fans we're hoping for. When the fights starts both men circle each other and then thunder is struck and both huge men start throwing heavy hands. Lesnar is clearly in more control on the feet both both guys are landing nice jabs and some hooks. Brock lands a take down as he lands in guard and starts letting the bombs reign down. Elbows and fists of fury from Lesnar but Frank Mason still looks like he is in this fight. Lesnar is trying to control the position but Frank is fighting as well before the referee stands them both up. Lesnar lands a straight right that cuts open Mason but mason trys to swing at Lesnar but it does not land again Lesnar swipes at Frank with heavy hands and connects. Lesnar lands a huge right hook that drops Frank to the mat and Lesnar see's Mason spring right back up even though he is wobbly but Lesnar lands hook after hook until again Mason drops to the mat this time Brock swarms him and continues his attack as the referee steps in and calls the fight. Brock Lesnar has the crowed on their feet and he taunts the former undefeated fighter before celebrating with his corner men.

Coming up in our Co Main Event we have a lightweight bout between Lars Olofsson and Machuchin Dillon. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go! The Champions Lars looks very focused on his opponent as each fighter locks eyes with the other the fight begins. Lars trys to get this fight on the ground right away but gets denied and again he trys some short jabs then to take down but Dillon is blocking him and is not letting this fight go to the ground. After a third failed attempt by the champion Dillon starts throwing some nice strikes. Dillon lands a nice jab and cuts the champion as both men continue their back and froth Dillon continues his control with nice strikes. Dillon lands a huge counter right hand to the temple that has the champion in hot water. Dillon again pummeling the champion with strikes folks and the referee is watching this closely as Lars is not defending it. That is it folks no defense by Lars has caused the referee to jump in and end this right here. Machuchin Dillon has just won the Lightweight Title as his Corner men and training partners storm the octagon.

The Main Event is here folks and we get to see a light heavyweight bout between Busta Rhymes and Duane Lee Chapman. The fight starts with both men trying to land some punches at will but neither is really connecting and hurting the other. Busta gets the take down but it is Chapman who is isolating a arm looking for the submission. Duane has to give up on the arm both both men are going back and forth on the mat looking for an opening. Duane looks for all limbs trying to go for submissions but he fails a few times then Rhymes is looking for a leg so that he can control the fight but he cannot get the submission either. Chapman takes control and trys again for submissions but cannot get total control as Rhymes is trying hard to protect himself. The round ends and both fighters look like they need this break to gain their breath. The second round begins and Rhymes feints in and gets the take down and is quickly looking for the submission but does not get it. Rhymes has given up on the submission when Duane Lee gets a hold of Busta's arm and then with a quick pivot and an awful looking extension of Rhymes arm he has the armbar locked and Busta Rhymes is forced to tap out. Duane Lee Chapman just took the world by surprise here folks as he celebratesin the middle of the octagon.

This has without a doubt been a huge night for Blitzkrieg and everyone associated with them, Tonight we saw Sean ORiordan walk out with Knockout of the night. Duane Lee Chapman gets submission of the night and in the fight of the night we saw Pappy Boyington take on Jarmo Myllys. I have also been instructed to inform everyone that because of Duane Lee Chapman's upset win over Busta Rhymes it means that every BFC Champion who has lost their title has also lost their next match. Before we go we have to congratulate Pappy Boyington and Shane Falco who advance to the finals of The Ultimate Manager. Folks this has been fun and I hope to be back to talk more fights with you on BFC: Unleashed. Until next time folks enjoy the fights!!

Welcome to the BFC: Unleashed! Tonight was a sold out show at the Hard Knocks Arena in Hilo for the BFC 34: Pope vs Friedhelm event. Salivating fans were fed action Blitzkrieg style.

All the beautiful people came out to see things kick off with Trujillo and Manuma getting down to business early, with Manuma managing to stick a few good punches and start some bleeding on Trujillo. But in the end Manuma couldn’t keep Trujillo at distance enough and fell to a guillotine three minutes thirty into the third round. An exciting match-up of young welterweights we’ll undoubtedly see again in the future.

The crowd roared to life as Mike Shields put himself into the positive side of his win/loss ratio by using Jack Stone for a practice dummy. Lacing him open with a left hook then finishing it off with the KOTN in the form of a high kick. Five seconds felt like an eternity to Stone.

In a determined effort from middleweights, Hede Hede and Wupass, Hede tried to take it to the floor but Wupass kept him in check, and ground out the decision after three rounds 30:27. Both fighters seemed more determined “not to lose” then to try and beat their man.

Featherweight undefeated clashed and Yip Man couldn’t use his reach to tag the elusive Rage, while Rage consistently got the match to the floor where he could work on Yip with ground strikes and finally got a free arm and forced the tap four minutes into the second round.

Our SOTN came when Johny Jones surgically destroyed Tommy Knockers. Experience prevailed when Jones let Knockers take him to the ground, but made the most of the situations, threatening a sub early in the first round, and completing the armbar a minute forty-six into the second round.

Welterweights Tony Sinclair and Felix Ortega went the full distance with Ortega controlling the stand up with clean shots, narrowly escaping trouble at the end of the first round, when he came in for a clinch that landed Sinclair in full mount. But in the end Sinclair controlled enough of the ground action to tip the judges in his favor 29:28, continuing his undefeated streak to 4-0.

Jenks Jenkins was batting like a pitcher, TWENTY-SEVEN head kicks, and connected on only two. Clarence Anthony efficiently made the most of his efforts and won the scorecards 30:27. Anthony showed his durability when he walked through a head kick a minute into the second that brought the red - just so he could get on the inside of Jenkins and tie him up with a clinch.

In one of the most intriguing fights, Lightweights Matsu Shitzu and Josh Wentworth fought “The Battle for the NAME”. Josh Wentworth Exploded, tossing Matsu around like a rag doll. Suplexing Shitzu, and following it up with an Elbow to cover. Then on the ground landing enough pummels to make Matzu cry Uncle. That’s right folks, call the man JoshW

Lauri Lempi found his first fight since he lost the 185 Title - going straight to the ground and becoming a battle of technique with Marcus Hansen. A flurry of ground work, with over forty submission attempts between the fighters, finally ended with a surprise Armbar at 4:01 of round three by Hensen.

And the event everyone was waiting for; POPE vs FRIEDHELM, was the definite FOTN as fists flew as soon as the opening bell rang. Two 5-0 featherweights entered, only one would come out undefeated. Luther Pope rocked Friedhelm early in the first round, and just kept sticking fist to face, while he made Luka miss. Even Friedhelm’s best shots couldn’t stop Luther as he pressed on to convincingly win the match 30:27.

Welcome to the BFC: Unleashed! Hard Knocks Arena in Hilo lived up to it’s billing - nearly three thousand screaming fans watched in rapture as five of tonight’s ten fights ended with KO or TKO. BFC 35: Belfort vs Luther started at a slow broil that blew the top off by the Main Event.

Lightweights, Tarcisio Pell and Kris Napiera, both may have looked “fresh as a daisy” as they made their way towards the cage, but Napiera didn’t feel too daisy after Pell kicked him in the man basket early in the first round. After he “walked it off” for five minutes, it was Napiera who was saying, “I’m your huckleberry” when the judges handed him the 30:27 decision.

The lightweight bouts continued, boxing style, with undefeated Gaia Ky and Virgil Mays. Both coming out and showing a lot of spunk, with Ky dominating the first round, but Mays putting together great second and third rounds. It was close, with the judges finally tipping it to Mays 29:28

Old Souls Can Be Beaten by New Day Rising was still ringing through the arena when our first TKO of the evening happened eleven seconds into the light heavyweight bout between Gangles McGee and Marley McSlipster. McGee pounded through McSlipster’s guard and tattooed - right, left, floor, then playground beatdown before getting pulled. Bad day to be a Ginormous Centipede.

Excitement in the crowd, when Buff Bagwell got attacked by a crazed fan, on his way into the cage. It looks like it might have been the lunatic “Just Bleed” guy we thought was in prison. It doesn’t look like Bagwell let it affect his headspace as he dominated fellow featherweight Kiyoshi Yamada. Taking Yamada to the ground a dozen times, but he couldn’t get the Submission. 30:27

Our next middleweight bout between Thomas Sawyer and Akio Takada was disrupted as the “Just Bleed” guy escaped Security, and attacked Thomas Sawyer. Things settled down, and the middleweights got down to business. Sawyer took it to the ground and kept it on the ground for most of the match. Takada tried to land submissions from a defensive position but nothing materialized. Sawyer for the decision 30:27

Continuing the welterweight action, Abel Bloodgood and Mickey McCarthy, brought us our FOTN. McCarthy set the pace early, connecting on a blood drawing combination, and then rocking Bloodgood with a stiff jab. Then the tide turned, and Bloodgood dragged McCarthy to the ground where he unleashed two dozen connects from GnP. Bloodgood edged McCarthy out 29:28

Matthew Whelan left nothing to the Judges as he delivered our KOTN seventeen seconds into the second round with a set up jab, and then a brutal uppercut to finish the work. Gino Carano had wanted to take this heavyweight slugfest to the floor but Whelan negated him at almost every turn, and eventually punched the clock.

Reinhard Galt systematically tore John Silver apart with his reach advantage. Knocking Silver to the floor early with a massive head kick, that Silver was capable of weathering the storm of the follow-up beats. But shortly after the fight went back to standing it was over, with Galt punishing Silver into a daze, only to escort him back to standing so he could finish him off with an over hand smash. Got to love when the heavyweights come out to play.

The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for! In a Blitzkrieg Fight Club FIRST, Yoshi Sushi won his first fight since he lost the Heavyweight Title. Taking it inside to the clinch Sushi landed elbow after elbow to Resial Nine’s eye, leaving him looking like an extra from Hostel. Too much blood. Yoshi hopes to take this momentum with him into the Spirit FC HW Tournament.

In the Main Event, Fedor Belfort earned a middleweight title shot against Robbie Balboa after delivering an overhand right KO to Dag Luther just shy of one minute into the first round. Luther had come in clinching hoping to work Fedor from the inside, but that turned south fast as Belfort punched and kneed holes in Luther’s gas tank. When they released Luther was already gassed and waiting for the mercy. Big overhand, and it’s over.

will you stop crying already mac?

Your only accomplishment in this game was appointing yourself leader of Johhny Sep's alliance after he went inactive and actually getting kicked out of it by the other members because they didn't want a glorified troll as the face of ICON. Oh yea and you bought a good gym with 12 coaches, not sure if you can mess that up, but im sure you will find a way.

How mattyblayze runs chat and how he runs his org are two totally separate things. He is also not my leader either, get a grip on reality. We are not marching to battle for the guy, we joined his org because he has managed it decently so far.

He even gave you a gift of another chance and unbanned you despite the fact that you did nothing but badmouth ppl in chat the first time around. Glad to see you messed up the second time around too.

P.S. I hope you stay banned this time

Welcome to the BFC: Unleashed! The Judges got the night off for most of BFC 36: Battle of the Beasts Round I in the Hard knocks Arena in Hilo. Only twice was their decision required.

We started the evening off with the featherweight bout between Sauce Money and Tony Abiezer going “the distance”. Fairly intriguing match with lots of positioning form the ground, and Abiezer attempting quite a few Submissions from defensive positions. Great tacticals, ending in 29:28 Abiezer. Sauce Money's camp was immediately protesting the judges' decision...

The announcers were talking about super heavyweight Mike Patton’s KO power before the match, but Thomas Drake landed the KOTN with one heavy handed Jawsnapper, and it was over. Keep an eye out for this 300lbs beast, who improved to 4-0

Mariusz Pudzianowski dragged Loo Cang to the ground, and it proved to be a fatal mistake. Cang slowly worked himself into position to try and rip Pudzianowski’s leg off, but the Tap and Screams prevented permanent damage, 2:27 into the first round.

Gert Johnnys was already gasing thirty seconds into the match before Joe Brean took him down to full mount, then just tried Submissions from all angles before landing a rear naked choke at 4:04 of the first round.

Bjorn Bjorgensen tattooed all kinds of hate on Kung Pao Chichen with high contact punching, even cutting open Chichen’s eye a little over three minutes into the second round. He followed that up with a rock solid jab then hook combo that took Kung Pao to the ground. where he narrowly escaped getting choked. Bjorn was in the driver’s seat all fight long and his clinic on beats was easily the FOTN, as he rode it out to a 30:27 decision.

Experience prevailed as El Taquito Pantalones stalked Randy Griffin around the ring for four and half minutes, preventing his takedowns with stiff blood drawing strikes, and ending it with a head kick that dropped Griffin like a sack of potatoes.

LEX US tried to take it inside but Zeki Ata worked him over inside and out. Punching bags get more respect. forty-one seconds into round two Ata knocked LEX US to the floor with a uppercut and followed him down to lay on the beats til he got called off.

John Franklin was covered in blood from eating stiff punches before he managed to get Brad Rogers into a Kimura for the SOTN 4:02 into the first round. Rogers weathered the first time they hit the ground, but Franklin was too tenacious on the Kimura the second time around.

Iiro Tolonen and Demien Omen were the last of our Super heavyweights on the evening and Iiro seems to know what Johnny was talking about when the man comes around, cause he laid into Omen with pure biblical fury. Cutting him open on a jab, sending him to the floor only to let him stand back up to be dropped for good, nine seconds into round one.

Welterweight Kari Leukakoukku tried to get the fight to the floor with Demian Kang , but was outmatched on the ground as well as standing, and overwhelmed 1:05 in the second by a flurry of punches from Kang, that ended with Leukakoukku on the floor covering up, after getting his clock sprung by the whirlwind.

The next round of the Battle of the Beasts is seeded as follows:

1) Iiro Tolonen vs 8) Loo Cang

5) Thomas Drake vs 4) Zeki Ata

15) John Franklin vs 7) Joe Brean

3) El Taquito Pantalones vs 11) Bjorn Bjorgensen

BFC 37: PI vs Wood: Welcome to The Pipeline in Hilo for a Sold Out Show. Tonight’s event is the 170 Title match between Magnum PI and Thor Woods.

The night started with middleweight Vladimir Zenin dissecting Akio Tomi. Tomi tried to get to the ground, but had to be saved from taking more hits at 2:39 of the first round as Zenin landed nearly everything he threw.

Next up the lightweight bout between Ray Coleman and Lug Lamfada, where Lamfada took it inside and sliced open Coleman with an elbow, but when he tried to get to the ground , Coleman negated it, then drove him to the floor with the KOTN for heavy bombs before the ref called it at :47 of the first round.

The “Just Bleed” Guy made his presence know as we switch gears to middleweights Taika Lono and Marco Gnocci. Lono scored two KOs on the evening as he defended himself on the way to ring from the “Just Bleed” Guy, and then turned the lights out on Gnocci 3:24 into the first round, after pelleting him with hard shot after hard shot.

Keeping to the pattern early in the evening middleweight Cono Slash dropped Dean MonRoe with one solid left handed shot to the jaw, :47 into the First , this one is Over. Slash advances his Undefeated record to 5 now, tallying his first KO.

Our first fight of the evening to “go the distance” is between light heavyweights Max Power and Noah CD. We start with a bang as Power drops CD to the floor then lit into him on the ground causing a gash and rocking him hard. Powers Dropped CD to the ground again with a nice shot, but again stood back up instead of finishing it off. CD then worked himself inside , and started dishing out as much as he had been receiving. In the end CD’s efficiency weighed the Refs into 30:27 and the FOTN.

Train just kept on rolling as heavyweights Cohen Maloney and Hannibal Barca mixed it up for fifteen minutes, inside, outside, and on the ground. Maloney’s Ground pound and Ground efforts probably became the deciding factor in his 30:27 victory.

Girevoy Khan struggled to make weight for the light heavyweight bout between Viher Peukku and Girevoy Khan. He only made it down to 206.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. In the end it must not have affected him too much as he squeezed out the majority decision 29: 29, 29:28, 29:28

Mike Pointek brought down sledgehammer blows to score a TKO on middleweight Gregorius Millrapids :50 into the first round. Just undeniable with each strike landing with brutality.

Welterweight Jorge Ayala couldn’t make enough of the time he got Matt Hughes on the ground to make it matter. Hughes thwarted 3/4’s of Ayala’s takedown attempts, and then held himself well on the ground. It was decided by the solid Stand up game of Hughes though - 29:27

The MAIN EVENT for the Welterweight Title between Magnum P I and Thor Wood featured two unbeatens. They pounded each other for five rounds. It hit the ground hard in the opening seconds of the first round. And PI attempted Submission after submission during the match. Wood’s relentless kicks ended up tipping the scales in his direction - 46:49, 47:49, 45:50 Making Thor Woods the 4th Blitzkrieg Welterweight Champion.

Welcome back to BFC: Unleashed! Tonight's show is brought to you by Blitzkrieg Fight Systems: Ground, the best ground gym in available! In this episode, we take a look back at BFC 42: Ji vs Pope.

The night of fights started off with a heavyweight battle between Smasher McGee and promising up comer Leon Kaiser. From the jump off of this fight it seemed like Kaiser was the superior banger, landing multiple strikes including a right that floored Mcgee and caused a referee stoppage in the middle of the first round. That brutal right ended up earning Kaiser the Knock out of the Night award!

The second fight of the night featured Slim Charles vs Seth Sanders. Charles game plan of taking down Sanders didn’t seem to work out well for him, as Sanders regularly stuffed his takedown attempts and punished him with a consistent barrage of strikes. This fight went the distance and all three judges saw it 25-30 for your winner Seth Sanders. Sanders really dominated this fight with striking, and he has to be looked at more seriously after this lop-sided victory.

he next fight of the evening was a matchup of two MMA veterans in the welterweight division Anthony Desperado and Mickey McCarthy. They both came out willing to swing but Desperado came out throwing blows that rocked McCarthy early. After the first rounds torrid pace, Desperado continued to apply constant pressure that ended up scoring him a win via unanimous decision. This fight had the crowd going crazy throughout and was rewarded with the Fight of the Night award! Congrats to both fighters on a great matchup.

Next on tap we had a heavyweight fight between Kona Kamehameha and Andrei Arlovski. Kamehameha seemed to be unlucky from the first swing of this match as Arlovski hit him with a crisp jab immediately that cut him pretty seriously. Despite the cut Kamehameha managed some decent submission attempts, but in the end Arlovski’s striking was just too much, as the fight was stopped due to Cuts before the first was over.

The fifth match of the night was a classic matchup of striker vs bjj stud; as Virgil Mays took on Kris Napiera. Napiera never had the chance to get this fight where he excelled, and since it stayed standing Mays was able to capitalize with a first round KO via Superman punch.

Next up we had a Featherweight matchup between two well rounded fighters, WaR Machine and Eddie Kessler. Early on it was surprising as WaR Machine seemed to be the more aggressive fighter trying to bring the fight to the mat against the Brown Belt Kessler. This fight seemed to be a technical BJJ clinic put on by both fighters, but ultimately Kessler ended up out pointing WaR Machine and took the win via decision.

Following that fight we had a middle weight fight where Lauri Lempe took on Paul Harris. It seemed to be a tough matchup for Lempe as his game plan was to take Harris to the mat, unfortunately for him, towards the end of the first Harris sunk in a rear naked choke that caused Lempe to tap and earned Harris Submission of the night. Congrats to Harris on the bonus!

Next up a heavyweight matchup between 4-1 Matthew Whelan and 5-1 Resial Nine. Whelan used an advantage standing to pick apart the ground game orientated Nine. The standing mismatch caused a referee stoppage because of a cut above Nine’s Eye, congrats to Whelan on a big victory.

The next fight featured 8-1 Jason Moon vs a very experienced Girevoy Khan. I think Khan’s game plan boiled down to Lay and Pray, hoping to win via decision, but Moon was having none of that catching him with a deep Kimura in midway through the second for the win.

In the main event of the evening Let Ji took on the 19 year old phenom Luther Pope in a featherweight battle. This match was entertaining from start to finish as Ji was working for takedowns and Pope was striking for the duration. Although Ji put up a decent matchup he couldn’t finish when it went to the floor, and when it went to the scorecard the judges rewarded Pope for his Punches with a decision Victory.

Welcome back to BFC: Unleashed! Tonight's show is brought to you by Blitzkrieg Fight Systems: Standup, the best standup gym available! In this episode, we take a look back at BFC 43: Kukulu. Kukulu was a great event that featured an exciting double main event.

Starting the night out was a welterweight battle between 3 and 2 Ford Ryan and 1 and 0 Jose Trujillo. If you wanted to show a youngster how to roll, this was the match to watch, as it turned into a ground clinic. Although Ryan put up a good fight, Trujillo eventually got him with a nice arm triangle midway through the second for the win.

Next up was a light-heavyweight fight between Mongo Cornell and Trent Hoop. Although Cornell seemed to be the better fighter standing, he went for takedowns repeatedly throughout the fight, and it backfired as Hoop caught him with triangle for the victory.

The third fight of the evening was another light heavyweight matchup, this time between Eric Cartman and Jenks Jenkins. The game plan was simple for Cartman, get the fight to the ground and make Jenkins tap. That’s exactly what happened as Cartman took it to the ground early and quickly submitted Jenkins in a dominating quick victory.

The next fight was a highly anticipated welterweight fight between Mauga Manuma and Felix Ortega. On paper this looked to be as evenly matched as you get, and lucky for us the fight didn’t disappoint going the full three rounds. The judges all saw it 29-28 for Manuma, and BFC owner MattyBlayze decided it didn’t get better then this, awarding both fighters Fight of the Night! Congrats to both Manuma and Ortega on a great battle.

Fifth fight of the night featured two seriously well rounded middleweights in Jonathan Moxon and Gregorius Millrapids. Moxon seemed to gas rather early on in the fight, and after it went to the ground Millrapids showed his superiority there by scoring with all sorts of strikes on his way to a unanimous decision victory.

A few minutes later the action packed card continued with middleweights Dean MonRoe and Richard Bennett. Bennett really showed that he is a striker to be feared as he tee’d off on the solid veteran MonRoe while standing, including a brutal uppercut that nearly separated MonRoe’s head from his body. There wasn’t any doubt with the way this ended; such an impressive KO earned Bennet Knockout of the Night!

Next up a lightweight matchup between Clarence Anthony and Matsu Shitzu. Shitzu’s fighting style is geared towards taking the fight down to the mat, unfortunately for him, he did just that but left himself open to a tight choke that he had to tap to with just over one minute gone in the first.

A battle between two highly touted welterweights was next up as Abel Bloodgood and Tony Sinclair faced off. Both men clearly felt more comfortable on the ground, as the majority of this fight was spent there, with Sinclair being the more active fighter. Sinclair showed his strong will overpowering Bloodgood throughout the fight and that earned him the Unanimous decision to finish off the under-card.

Next on tap the first of the two main events, the winner of which advances to Battle of the Beasts semi-finals, John Franklin faces Joe Brean. Brean took Franklin down quickly, but Franklin proved his ability to thrive on the mat, as he caught Brean with a choke less the 40 seconds into the fight that earned him Submission of the Night! Congratulations to John Franklin for not only earning SOTN, but also punching his ticket to the Semi-Finals in the Battle of the Beasts!

In the second of two main events, the second Battle of the Beasts matchup, Bjorn Bjorgensen took on El Taquito Pantalones. El Taquito Pantalones really overmatched Bjorgensen throughout this match, never letting Bjorgensen mount an offense. Pantalones eventually put Bjorgensen out of his misery and out of the Battle of the Beasts tournament with a series of punches that knocked him out. Awesome finish by Pantalones as he moves on to the next round of BOTB!

After the card, BFC owner MattyBlayze held a press conference to announce the next round of the Battle of the Beasts in which El Taquito Pantalones will face off against John Franklin in a matchup that is sure to excite fight fans worldwide. Who move on for the change to prove they are truly the best Super Heavy weight in the world?

Special thanks to Hayashi's Lounge – Hilo and all the people in attendance that made this a great card!

Welcome back to BFC: Unleashed! Tonight’s show is a recap of the absolutely HUGE event; BFC 44: Balboa vs Belfort. This card could have been billed as triple main event and no one would have batted an eye, further proof that BFC is the premier organization in Hilo! So let’s get to the fights;

The tone of night was kicked off with a wonderful lightweight matchup between Hawkeye Pierce and timmy O Toole that will go down as one of the most action packed fights in BFC history. Overcoming an early cut, O Toole used his amazing Muay Thai to kick his way to a lopsided decision victory. The hard work of both fighters was rewarded with a fight of the night award, congrats to both O Toole and Pierce on a great fight.

The second fight of the evening was between two experienced fighters, Yamada Taiki and Bjorn Smackdown. Although this fight went the distance, Taiki really showed his superiority in the clinch, dominating the pace and landing a significant amount of blows against his opponent for the victory.

Next up was a light heavyweight fight between Jonas Torsted and Joshua Brown. The crowd was overwhelmed with excitement for this fight, as both these fighters like to slug it out. Unfortunately, if you blinked you may have missed the fight as Brown came out and overwhelmed his opponent, knocking him out cold with a combination that displayed his amazing hand speed twenty two seconds into the fight. That display of power and speed earned Brown the knock out of the night award, congrats to Joshua Brown!

The fourth fight of the evening was a featherweight matchup between two promising fighters Tony Abiezer and Roy Rage. Rage knew from the start he wanted to take this fight to ground, and didn’t have much trouble getting it there, taking Abiezer down almost at will throughout the two plus rounds. Once it was on the mat, Rage had the advantage, landing almost every strike he through while softening Abiezer up for the eventual arm bar halfway through the third.

Next up was another highly hyped matchup, this time between Brandon Vera II and Max Power, although Vera came in as the highly touted new-comer, Max Power quickly showed him what experience can do for a fighter as he scrambled Vera’s brain with a overhand right just fifty one seconds into the fight. Although Vera’s future in BFC is still bright, he needs to learn how to protect himself or he could be leaving the building on a stretcher!

A little over midway through the evening we had Luka Friedhelm and Buff Bagwell in the cage. Just like the last fight, Friedhelm came in as the hotshot, and just like the last fight the cagey veteran dispatched the up and comer! Although Friedhelm was the more comfortable fighter standing, at the end of the day he couldn’t survive on the mat, as Bagwell caught him thirty seconds into the third with a guillotine choke. The deep choke earned Bagwell submission of the night!

Seventh fight of the night was a matchup of two contenders in the lightweight division, Josh Wentworth and Lars Olofsson. Olofsson really seemed to dominate this fight, rocking and cutting Wentworth in the first, and then knocking him down in the second. It was a tactical error by Olofsson that ended up costing him a win. Olofsson aggressively took Wentworth down to mat, where Wentworth had a slight advantage and fell victim to a choke a little over midway through the second.

Now onto the highly anticipated Battle of the Beasts; first up Zeki Ata and Thomas Drake! Zeki Ata came into BoTB as one of the favorites, and he again proved why here, the guy is an absolute monster! Overwhelming Drake with strikes and causing Drake to say uncle just fifty six seconds into round one. Personally, Ata is one of my favorite super heavyweights in the world, and fights like this are the reason why!

The second Battle of the Beasts matchup was equally as exciting and quick as the first, as Iiro Tolonen and Loo Cang came out looking to finish! Cang came out knowing he wanted to take it to the mat, unfortunately Cang’s plan didn’t work out as Tolonen teed off with a few massive punches that dropped Cang like a sac of potatoes fifty seconds into the first!

The main event of the evening was for the middleweight strap between challenger Fedor Belfort and defending champion Robbie Balboa. Balboa was clearly the crowd favorite, when he came out the crowd popped to a deafening level, and he fed off the crowd energy starting the fight off very quickly. Belfort overcame the immediate surge from the Balboa and countered with a surge of his own, taking the fight to the mat. Once there it didn’t take Belfort long to have his way with the champion, locking in a nasty kimura that forced Balboa to tap. After the win, Belfort hopped up and could be seen mouthing the words “I told you so” to the crowd and during his post fight recap threw down a challenge to the MMA world claiming to be the best middleweight alive.

Post card Blitzkrieg owner MattyBlayze not only announced the semi-finals for BoTB, Tolonen vs Ata but he also echoed Belforts sentiments saying “BFC has the top talent in the world, I would welcome any org to put up their champion in a super fight, I’m one hundred percent confident with the product we put out to our fans”

Is there another middleweight willing to step up to Belforts challenge?

Welcome to tonight's edition of BFC: Unleashed, I'm your host - Jessica Austin.

Blitzkrieg Fighting Championship started the weekend in style with another sold out show at Hard Knocks Hilo. The event would be one of contrasts with the first five fights seeing just one make it out of the first round while only one didn't see multiple rounds in the last five.

BFC 45: Pointek vs Hansen kicked off with a Super Heavyweight bout between Mike Patton and Demien Omen. Both of these guys had their last fight at BFC 36: BotB Round I and both were knocked out in less than 20 seconds. Patton clearly wanted this fight on the ground but had three takedowns stuffed in the first 30 seconds of the fight. Oddly, after doing his best to prevent it going there, Omen attempted a takedown of his own which Patton countered by landing a devastating punch combo. Left and a right... and another left... and another!! As Omen crumbles to the ground in a heap, "Mr Bungle" runs to his corner to celebrate the career lifeline he's just earned himself.

Next up was another Super Heavyweight battle, this time between Randy Griffin and the more experienced Mariusz "Dominator" Pudzianowski. Both these fighters also haven't seen action since losses at BotB Round I and were keen to shake the rust off and get it on. Lack of experience was made up for with aggression as Griffin took the fight to the mat and mercilessly dropped bombs before the referee was forced to drag him off the Poles' limp body.

The third bout of the night saw Middleweight division action as Marco "The Hammer" Gnocci faced off against "Masher" Mario Ramires. Interestingly, Gnocci and Mash are both variations on how you can serve up potatoes! Damn, I'm hungry now.. but back to the fight! Ramires started the fight with a hard right hand punch that saw a deep cut appear over Gnocci's right eye. Gnocci reacted by slamming Ramires onto the ground and after a first submission attempt that was never going to happen, proved he was no BJJ 'spud' by locking on a perfectly executed kimura. Apologies again for that last pun.

Following that we had the first of three forays into the Heavyweight divison for the evening. "Pretty Boy" Gino Carano
started with the mind games early against the far less experienced Billy Madison, tweaking his nipples as the two stared each other down from across the cage. Carano had parted ways with his manager just days before this event after losing three in a row. If he was distracted by it, he wasn't showing it.. yet. The fight started with a clinchfest by Madison, instigating and then breaking the clinch five times early on. Without a team to offer insight, Carano's gameplan failed to adapt throughout the encounter - attempting nothing but head punches. Madison could see them coming a mile away and felt glove meet flesh only sixteen times of the fifty two that "Pretty Boy" threw. As Madison was being fed instructions at the end of the first round, a lone figure could be seen sitting opposite him. It's a mystery what he was thinking as he sat there, why a proven submission expert had attempted no takedowns so far was just mind boggling. The second round begins and the two fighters continue in the standup. After an exchange of missed punches from each, a loud thud echoes throughout the arena as Madison turns his hips and unleashes a monster head kick that has Carano seeing stars. As Carano wobbles around on his feet, Madison steadies himself and with no need for an invitation delivers another devastating headkick that drops Gino to the ground like a tonne of bricks. This fight is all over and quite possibly, the career of Gino Carano is too.

The second Heavyweight fight of the night saw the BFC octagon mat get redecorated in a pretty shade of red. "Long" John Silver and Hannibal Barca wasted no time in throwing everything they had at each other. A swift uppercut by Barca hit the spot early and Silver was bleeding profusely. From there, the fight went to the clinch and Silver repaid Barca with a nasty looking knee to the face - in all likelihood breaking his nose. A stunned Barca stumbles backwards as "Long" John pushes him against the cage. A knee to the face.. and another! The Italian crumbles to the mat. A beautiful knockout by "Long" John Silver!

Fight number six sees a betting mans nightmare as the evenly matched Eric Mccaughan and Noah CD face off to increase their standing in Blitzkrieg's stacked Light Heavyweight divison. With 16 wins between them, these two would be at the top of the division in many other fight organizations but it just goes to show the depth of the roster BFC owners Matty Blayze and Shiv Whorra have developed. The first round saw CD the more comfortable competitor as the fight stayed in the standup. Looking to wear down McCaughan, CD worked the occasional jab and leg kick in between the clinch controlling. The start of round two was much of the same until McCaughan finally managed to land a takedown. From half guard McCaughan dropped bombs and worked for kimuras, but to no avail. Despite being unable to finish the fight, he evened it up to one round a piece. The final round saw CD taken to the ground but McCaughan is once again unable to finish. Unfortunately for McCaughan, even though he took the points in the latter two rounds - Noah CD's dominant performance in the first evened it up on the judges' scorecards and the fight is ruled a draw.

Next up undefeated Cono Slash squared off in another middleweight affair with a Dag Luther keen to make amends for his title fight loss to Fedor Belfort at BFC 35. Both of these fighters are stronger on the ground and that's exactly where this fight went. Luther scored the takedown early and from there both displayed excellent grappling skills, with the dominant position changed several times. Slash was the more aggressive fighter though, and after a seamless transition into side control locked on an Americana that any BJJ practitoner would be proud of.

The final battle of the undercard featured undefeated German Reinhard Galt and Cohen "The Irish Carbomb" Maloney, who was coming off a four fight win streak after dropping his first fight in BFC. Both of these fighters are standup beasts and the crowd were waiting for the inevitable knockout. Galt asserted himself early some viscous head kicks that opened up a deep gash on Maloney's head. "The Irish Carbomb" attempted to stem the tide by neutralizing Galt on the ground. The tactic worked for a bit, but once the fight returned to the feet, Galt's powerful striking had Maloney spurting more blood than than an emo in the bathroom. The referee called an end to the fight, Galt - TKO (cut).

In the Co-main event, we returned to the Light Heavyweight division for the final time this evening. Busta Rhymes was keen to get back on track after losing his last two fights, one to champion Stinger Bell and a surprise submission loss to Duane Lee Chapman. Could Sigmund Freud make it three losses in a row for the man from Philadelphia? These brown belts gaves BJJ lovers a fight for the ages, swapping dominant position and showing off their vast array of submissions over three grueling rounds. When Freud seemed to have it won, Rhymes worked off his back and locked on a guillotine choke that he held until a limp body was laying on top of him. Ever the showman, Rhymes jumps up to his feet and celebrates this important victory with the crowd.

At last, the main event of the evening. BFC 45's headliners Mike Pointek and Marcus Hansen! With the recent signing of Syndicate's Shachlo Popyachtsa being the talking point of the middleweight division, both of these fighters were looking to keep their name in the minds of not only the fans but in the title picture. Pointek controlled this fight from the get-go landing jabs and kicks at will. Hansen was looking to take the fight to the ground and Pointek obliged with a mighty headshot that saw Hansen tumbling to the canvas. The second round once again saw Hansen feebly attempting to take the fight to his comfort zone, but the once again only went there when Pointek decided it would... a lovely combination sending Hansen to the mat. It must have felt like déjà vu for Hansen in the third round, as Pointek once again controlled the fight. A missed headkick From Pointek as he slips fails to be capitalized on and as he regains his composure lands a perfectly timed combination. Before Hansen knows what's going on, Pointek is on top of him trying for submissions. Saved by the bell, the fight is over. Even Stevie Wonder could see what the outcome of this decision would be - a dominant thirty:twenty five across the board for Pointek and he moves to twelve and four.

Welcome to tonight's edition of BFC: Unleashed, I'm your host - Jessica Austin.

Blitzkrieg Fighting Championship continued the weekend right where it started with another sell out show at Hard Knocks Hilo in BFC 48:Kaikanas following BFC 47: McGee v Skallagrimsson at the same venue the night before.

The opening fight is rarely important in relation to the title picture but always important in setting the tone for the rest of the evening. Doc Morbid and Bear Viles got things underway. Viles came into the fight with a 5-1 record, with four of those at the now defunct Hawaii Ultimate Fighting. Morbid entered undefeated, most recently defeating Jeff Smith by unanimous
decision in his Blitzkrieg Fighting Championship debut at BFC 40. The fight quickly entered the clinch and Morbid used his reach advantage to avoid every one of Viles' strikes before landing a devastating knee of his own to see his opponent crumble to the mat in front of him. The second round stoppage of Viles earned Doc 'Knockout of the Night'.

Consider the tone, 'set'.

Mike "The Mouth" Matusow stayed true to his nickname and trash talked Alf Histon all week prior to the event, claiming he was going to choke the Englishman out. It's unfortunate that Blitzkrieg's Super Heavyweight, Zeki Ata already goes by "The Prophet" otherwise Matusow might have considered taking the nickname for his own. After the fight went to the ground, Histon probably thought he had things under control after executing a well timed sweep to find himself on top - in Matusow's guard. Unfortunately for him, "The Mouth" locked on a tight guillotine from beneath that saw Histon's face go purple, and eventually force him to tap. Matusow finds himself 'Sub of the Night' with this maneuver while Histon finds himself without a job.

The third fight of the evening saw "Krazy Train" Kiedis Grayson take on the deceptively nicknamed Billa "Armbar" Bong - a man who has not attempted a single armbar in his entire career! The fight started with Bong taking Grayson down but as quickly as he hit the mat, Grayson springed back up to his feet. Second time lucky for "Armbar" here, as he managed to take Grayson down again and keep him there. A failed triangle attempt by Grayson sees an opening and Bong slips into side control and begins dropping bombs! A knee to the face.. big fist from side control... and another... and another! Grayson's face is a mess. The ref will need to step in sooner next time..

Up next, Glaswegian striking sensation Shooter McGavin looked to continue his unbeaten run as he took on Kellen Smith. After an undefeated streak of his own at Russian Combat, Smith has lost both of his fights at Blitzkrieg Fighting Championship. Kellen Smith was the more aggressive fighter early on, forcing McGavin to the ground and controlling him there. The tides turned soon after though, as the referee stood both fighters up due to inaction. McGavin took his chance with a jab followed by a loevely combination and finally, a monster uppercut that sends Smith tumbling backwards onto the mat. Viscious strikes ensue as McGavin mounts his stunned opponent before the referee is forced to drag him off. The mighty Scot moves to 5-0!

Meanwhile Kellen Smith, after 3 consecutive losses in BFC, was granted a release from contract to explore other avenues.

Convicted sexual deviant Uncle Dad makes his return to the ring after a month off at his shack in the woods to face Bojan Jurdana. While many argue if he should be locked away in a federal prison, what you can not argue is whether or not he is entertaining in the cage. With four first round knockouts since joining BFC, this fight was never going to make the distance.
The two started the fight by exchanging punches before Dad takes the fight into the clinch. He only landed a single body shot before Jurdana manages to break the hold and they return to boxing. A return to the clinch just long enough for Dad to land a viscious hook to the side of the head and the clinch is broken once again. Both men duck and weave between their punches before Dad sees the opening he needs to end the fight. A quick jab to put Jurdana off balance followed by a picture perfect straight right with only bad intentions! Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmmmmmmmbeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrr.... Bojan Jurdana is out cold before he even hits the ground. Another first round stoppage for Uncle Dad moves him to 5-1!

The sixth fight of the night saw former Finnish Ultimate Combat lightweight Crazy Guy take on Spanish journeyman Santara Amarillo. Guy was looking to get back on track after going 1-3 since his FUC days. It was not to be though, as Amarillo dominated Guy in all aspects of the fight - more than tripling his landed strikes, 26 to 8. The well earned unanimous decision victory sees the Spaniard move into the BFC Lightweight title contender picture while Crazy Guy heads back to the drawing board.

Following that, Freddy Favre went toe-to-toe with Thomas Sawyer in a Middleweight division fight. Former Fighters Club League champion Favre came into this fight looking for his first win since the move to the classier Blitzkrieg Fighting Championship back in February while Sawyer looked to improve on his current two fight win streak. The bookies didn't break a sweat during this fight as their heavy favourite - Sawyer, imposed his will on his helpless opponent. "The All American Boy" took Favre to the ground and softened him up during the first round before a precision combination at the beginning of round two had Favre laying on his back asking where he was. A beautiful knockout by Thomas Sawyer!

The last fight on the undercard pitted Swedish standup expert Sven Runar against "The Next Big Thing" Brock Barnes. Runar was looking to get his career back on track after two disappointing knock out losses in recent times including a title fight against then BFC Heavyweight champion - Dan Gable. Barnes entered the fight looking to silence the critics, after two straight losses of his own at BFC following seven straight wins against what the critics claim were lesser opponents than he has faced since coming to Hilo. A three round slobberknocker followed, with Barnes the far more aggressive fighter in the encounter. Neither fighter really landed many strikes but if you were to declare a winner based on how many *did* land, Barnes would comformtably have Runar beat. That's not how the judges saw it though, awarding the win to the Swede for what I can only guess was for better control during the fight.

The co-main event of the evening saw Zairian fighter Nkuku Ngbendu wa Za Banga.. hang on a minute.. Zaire? It hasn't been called Zaire since 1997! Who writes these notes?! How do I work in these conditions?!

erhem..

The co-main event of the evening saw Congolese fighter Nkuku Ngbendu wa Za Banga defending his BFC Lightweight title for the first time against undefeated Philippino, Venon Turner. The bookies had Turner as the favourite for this fight, being superior in just about all aspects on paper. Hearing this (translated) must have offended wa Za Banga because as soon as the bell rang he ran rampant. wa Za Banga dominated Turner in the standup and totally neutralized Turners efforts on the ground - a five round mixed martial arts master class. The win sees wa Za Banga move to 7-0, his first not to end by knockout.

The main event of the evening saw Blitzkrieg Fighting Championship's top ranked fighter - Light Heavyweight champion Stringer Bell defending his title against another boxing beast in Kaleki Oliweli. Recent Syndicate signing "The Don" Silvio Riscatelli and fellow highly ranked contender Jason Moon were both spotted in the crowd watching this fight with interest. Oliweli entered this fight at 7-0 while Bell came boasting an amazing EIGHT first round stoppages. This was sure to be fireworks! Over five rounds both men proved why they are two of the best strikers in the business - systematically attempting to pick each other apart via quick jabs, combinations and a variety of head and body punches. In the end though, the commentators noted that only a scarily incompetent judge would keep Bell from a decision victory and fortunately for him, there were no incompetent judges there on the night. The difference could quite possibly have been the superior clinch work shown by Bell. Of note is the fact that Bell unleashed many monster knees - something we have yet to see him do before. Is this because his fights have never gone long enough for him use them or because he's been recently training his clinchwork? Something to think over for both Riscatelli and Moon..

Until next time fight fans..!

Welcome to tonight's special TWO HOUR edition of BFC: Unleashed, I'm your host - Jessica Austin.

In tonight's extended show, we'll be covering both of huge events held on the weekend by Hilo's favourite fight organization - Blitzkrieg Fighting Championships!

[BFC : 49 - Contenders]

We kicked the weekend off with BFC:49 Contenders, showcasing not one.. not two... but THREE *huge* number one contender battles. BFC co-owners, Matty Blaze and Shiv Whorra were probably more anxious than the fans to see how this one turned out - would their huge investments in former Syndicate headliners Frank Mac and Shachlo Popyachtsa be worth it? Helped heavily by the deals penned by these two - this was Blitzkrieg's first event to pay out more than $100,000 to it's competitors. In addition to this, BFC 49 is the first event to award $1000 to any fighter participating in a 100% rating fight!

The first event of the evening got under way with a heavyweight bout between Seth Sanders and Leon Kaiser. Sanders entered the fight off the back of a three fight win streak while Kaiser was looking to continue his fine start to leaving the shadows of his team-mates in the world's most famous fighting stable - that of Avon Barksdale. Kaiser wasted little time, cracking Sanders with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor just moments after the first round's opening bell. A quick combination is followed by a vicious right cross and this one is aaaaaaaaaallllllllll over. This fine knockout in sub-20 seconds earns Kaiser 'Knockout of the Night' along with a $1000 100% bonus!

Next up saw Lightweight action between undefeated Oscar De la Hoya and Irish Muay Thai fighter Lug Lamfada. Lamfada wanted nothing of De la Hoya's stand-up though, and repeatedly attempted to take the fight to the ground. After stuffing five takedowns, De la Hoya changed his mind and obliged Lamfada by sending him to the mat via a beautiful combination of punches. An uppercut right on button.. Lamfada is in la-la land!! When he regains his composure, someone should inform him that he at least gets $1000 for his part in this 100% rating fight..

Following that, a foray into the Middleweight division with Jamie Maddrox and Gavin Rippa entering with matching records - four and one apiece. Maddox was recently resigned to BFC after being granted a release to find form at Quick Fighting Championships. Unfortunately, the experience did nothing for him here as Rippa dominated him in every aspect of the standup game. A monster right hand sees Maddrox fall to the ground and Rippa goes in for the kill! A flurry of punches and elbows... Maddrox is out! A beautiful win for Gavin Rippa there.

The fourth fight of the night pitted two of BFC's veteran journeymen. Damian Maia and Christian Steggman entered this Middleweight bout with an amazing 31 fights in 9 organizations between them. Both fighters are submission experts and the fight was never going to stay on the feet for long. The first round started with a couple of lazy jabs before Maia managed to close the distance and gets a double leg takedown, slamming Steggman to the mat. Both fighters worked to control the fight - exchanging a number of submissions each. The second round was much slower paced than first, with neither fighter doing much. So much so infact, they were stood up twice by the referee due to inactivity. Fortunately for the crowd, the third round started with a lot more intensity - Maia being the more aggressive fighter though, throwing some furious strikes. Inevitably, we were back on the mat to close the round out and Steggman is awarded the win by unanimous decision.

Half way through, and the first of back-to-back Light Heavyweight bouts. Dave Bautista entered this fight against Johny Jones with 5 first round knockout wins - would he score an early victory again? Unfortuantely for the fans, this one started off as a bit of a snoozefest with the 'Genie' pulling out some takedown magic before a stagnant control battle on the ground was maintained for the rest of the first round. The second round was a livelier affair with Bautista and Jones exchanging numerous kicks and punches. An overly ambitious bodykick by Jones.. and Bautista counters with a huge left! Jones backsteps away but there's nowhere to run now.. A left and a right, and another left before the ref has to step in and save a bloodied Jones.

Following on... Undefeated striking expert Max Shinobi entered this fight with all four of his wins by first round knockout. Gangles McGee is no slouch, with four first round knockouts of his own. If you were expecting this one to be over early, you were in for a surprise. What followed was a three round clinic by Shinobi. McGee kept pace in the general standup but once the fight went to the clinch, Shinobi really showed he was class above. 131 clinch strikes to 5 was the telling statistic here, as Shinobi was awarded a unanimous decision victory by the judges. 'Fight of the Night' honors went to this fight aswell, on the back of Shinobi's electrifying performance over three rounds...and McGee managing to withstand it.. I guess!

Super Heavyweight action next, as the mighty He Man looked to keep his unbeaten streak going against a tough opponent in Matthew Whelan. Let the blood flow... A monster uppercut by Whelan has He Man spitting a mouthful onto the mat, but the favour is quickly returned as He Man jabs Whelan right on the kisser. The two continue to trade punches before Man drops Whelan with a right handed bomb. Man elects to allow Whelan back to his feet, feeling confident he can finish this one with another punch like that. Another left hook by Whelan, will that do it? No - but He Man's cut is getting worse. Man cracks Whelan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd - that has Whelan's cut opening wider aswell. The second round starts with the two once again wildly swinging at each other before Man closes the distance and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Huge bombs raining down on Whelan, but he's doing well to avoid most of them... not for long though. Man postures up and grinds an elbow into Whelan's temple. His face is a mess! The referee calls the doctor in to look at Matthew Whelan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The first of the #1 contender fights for the evening sees Josh Wentworth taking on BJJ black belt Brian Baumgardner. Both men are known for their submission abilities, fans were expecting to see this one go to the mat quickly - and that's what it did. Round one opened with Wentworth taking down the more experienced Baumgradner. Baumgardner quickly got the upper hand on the ground, being the more aggressive fighter and going for the quick finish. Wentworth did well controlling to see out the end of the round. Round two opened with Baumgardner sloppily going in for the takedown, which was quickly reversed by Wentworth into a takedown of his own into side control. Wentworth appeared to have the momentum on his side, throwing strikes from the top. It was not his day though, as Baumgardner showed his class by working a triangle and quickly switching into an armbar. Wentworth has no choice but to tap here, earning Baumgardner win number 13 aswell as 'Sub of the Night'.

The Co-Main Event of the evening pitted undefeated featherweight striking machines Frank Mac and Micheal Deacino. Impressively, they entered this fight with eleven title fight wins between them. Fighting with no belt on the line will most likely feel weird for both of them. Fortunately, winning tonight will give the victor a chance to wear gold once more! The round started with Deacino throwing a wild haymaker, but Mac's footwork had him out of harms way. Air is all Deacino would hit for the rest of the fight, as Mac ducked and weaved while picking him apart with a series of jabs and crosses. Another cross from Mac has Deacino stumbling backwards, stunned. Like a shark smelling blood, Mac goes in for the kill! He closes distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Deacino! Mac dives in looking to finish! Deacino is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight! Flawless from Frank Mac there, number one contender, 100% rating - it looks like he's the real deal folks!

Finally in the Main Event, a Middleweight clash between Mac's fellow former Syndicate transferee - Shachlo Popyachtsa and trevor "spiderman" gunter. I'm not sure if gunter's name really has no capitalization or if my prompt line writer just got lazy! Anyway...! The winner of this fight will be taking on champ Fedor Belfort at BFC:56! Shachlo looks really focused here.. let's see what he does! The bell rings and we're underway! gunter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Popyachtsa tries to bum rush gunter with a series of wild strikes but gunter uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A monster combination from Popyachtsa and gunter is down!! Shachlo not interested in following him to the mat, and waits for him to get back to his feet. gunter gets up, but his legs are like jelly. CRACK! A huuuuuuuge overhand right! gunter is down again. He's trying to protect himself but Popyachtsa has mounted him.. it's raining down strikes! The referee can wait no longer and jumps in to save gunter. Oooooohh the ex-Syndicate boys have showed they mean business tonight!! Shachlo Popyachtsa is the BFC Middlweight number one contender and also receives a handy grand for a 100% rating!!

[BFC : 50 - The Golden Age]

BFC 50 was aptly named The Golden Age - it provided Blitzkrieg Fighting Championships' highest rated event to date.
Tonight would also see the semi-finals of BFC's Battle of the Beasts SHW Tournament.

The first event of the evening was a lightweight bout between Philip Orange and Jack Smith. These two met back at BFC:41 and after three full rounds of action, left disappointed with a unanimous draw. Both were keen to settle the score this time. This time would be much of the same, as each fighter outclassed their opponent in their respective proficiency. In the end though, the fight stayed in the standup longer and Jack Smith was able to score the points decision.

Following that, a welterweight bout between "The Butcher of Bafoussam" Benoit Kong and Wilby "The Champion" Champion - very original there, Wilby. King came into the fight looking to work his way back into the title picture. After a brief stint as champion between BFC:10 and 15, he's lost three of four and fallen out of favour with both the fans and management. Champion entered looking to make up for the loss at his BFC debut back in March. The first round started with the two exchanging strikes before Champion managed the takedown and proceeded to attempt submissions for the remainder of the round - a dangerous tactic attempting to go toe-to-toe with a superior BJJ belt and it nearly cost him. The second round opened again with both fighters exchanging blows in the standup before a huge cross from Champion had Kong rocked. Champion steadies himself and lands a big head kick that sends Kong tumbling to the mat! He takes a step backwards and waves Kong back to his feet - he wants the finish! Wobbling about on his feet, Kong leaves his chin hanging out and Champion seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Kong crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

The third bout of the night featured featherweight action as Taylor Raijkovic looked to make an impact in his BFC debut. Eli Gull makes a return to Blitzkrieg after a form-finding away period resulting from his loss to Pappy Boyington at BFC:26. The first round started with Raijkovic trying to take the fight to the mat. After several attempts and body shots care of Gull for his troubles, he finally got it there. He'll be wishing he hadn't though, as Gull throws up a leg looking for a triangle. Raijkovic doesn't defend quickly enough and Gull has managed to lock this one up! Can Raijkovic escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gull on a fantastic submission victory. That submission earned Eli Gull 'Submission of the Night'!

Nickolas "The Urban Murderer" Bryant has been undefeated in 4 fights since joining Blitzkrieg Fighting Championships at BFC:10. Glenn Quagmaier on the other hand, is yet to notch up a W since signing here. Will tonight be the first or will Bryant continue his winning ways? The first round opened with Quagmaier attempting some weak takedowns. "If you want to go down there, that's where you'll go" quipped Bryant as he cracked Quagmaier with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Quagmaier looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bryant finish him? A quick jab from Bryant as he steps back. Quagmaier sees this as an opportunity to put Bryant on the back foot and looks to close the distance but Bryant sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Quagmaier crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! A beautiful knockout there by Nickolas Bryant - that one earned him 'Knockout of the Night"!

Fight number five pitted undefeated Rumor Chance against veteran Bing Bong. Chance immediately takes the fight to the clinch and it never leaves. Over the next two and a half minutes, a helpless Bong could do nothing to prevent Chance's dominant clinch game. Twenty nine strikes, including twenty four to the head! Bong desperately trying to slip free from the clinch.. but to no avail.. A short shot to the head.. A brutal uppercut... Chance unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Bong! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Chance is unloading with more strikes now! Bong drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO! Unbelievable! Rumor Chance is a monster!

Next up we had a return to Heavyweight action, pitting Aloha Hoi against Sean "Dublin Destroyer" ORiordan. Hoi came into the fight undefeated, with his most recent win an impressive 51 second knockout at his BFC debut. ORiordan entered on an impressive five fight win streak. The fight opened with a quick combination by ORiordan before taking it to the clinch. The two stall for a bit, exchanging body punches when possible. Hoi manages to break the clinch, and they return to boxing. Hoi cracks ORiordan with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. He's not interested in following him down though, and wait for the Irishman to return to his feet. The return is short lasted however, as Hoi grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! ORiordan takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Hoi cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

It goes to show how impressive an event this is that Shane Falco vs Luther Pope for the BFC Featherweight title is on the undercard. Both men enter undefeated, someone's oh has to go! The first round begins with both men exhanging strikes before Falco takes the fight to the clinch. It seems to be extremely effective against Pope, and Falco continues to take the fight to the clinch whenver he can over the next 4 rounds. Falco is dissecting Pope, and there's nothing he can do about it! Not long to go in the final round here, looks like a comfortable decision victory for Falco.. Still in the clinch.. Falco creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Pope with a big uppercut! Pope tries to reclinch but Falco pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Pope to the mat! Pope covers up and Falco unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout! Shane Falco remains undefeated and will next defend his title against new #1 contender, Frank Mac! Falco's gameplan and execution were perfect there, the question is - will he go the distance with Frank Mac? You'd certainly think so judging by that performance, that one's going to be huge!!!

The final event of the undercard sees John Franklin taking on El Taquito Pantalones in the first semi final of the Battle of the Beasts SHW Tournament!! Will the bookies favourite, #3 seed Pantalones get the job done or will the fairytale story of #15 seed Franklin continue?? Boxing machine vs BJJ black belt... here..we..go! The fight begins and Pantalones stuffs the takedown there. Franklin takes a hook to the side of the head, he doesn't look comfortable in the standup at all. Another failed takedown by Franklin there, he's looking desperate... I think our fairytale is over folks! Oh wait.. Franklin's caught Pantalones napping and manages to drive through into side control! The tables have turned. Blue belt vs black belt here. Pantalones doing well to defend the submission attempts so far. Franklin in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Pantalones is tapping! That's the end of the fight! The fairytale continues!! This is beautiful.. John Franklin will be heading the the BotB final - stay tuned to see who he'll be battling!

The co-Main Event of the evening pits BFC Heavyweight champion Piotr Rasputin and BIFF BUPHALICIOUS. It looks like my promt writer has left his capslock on again! The bell rings and Rasputin is all over BUPHALICIOUS! A jab to the jaw for being lazy with his defenses there.. another head shot.. Rasputin switches it up with a body shot that has BUPHALICIOUS wincing in pain. BUPHALICIOUS going for the leg kick, but it's missed... OH!! A MONSTER UPPERCUT by the champ! BUPHALICIOUS is down!! Rasputin follows him to the mat and continues with the strikes but it's already over.. Rasputin by TKO! Piotr Rasputin retains his heavyweight title!

Finally, the Main Event of the evening! The #1 and #4 seeds in Blitzkrieg Fighting Championships' Battle of the Beasts SHW Tournament! Zeki Ata enters after defeating #5 seed Thomas Drake at BFC 44 whilst Tolonen defeated #8 seed Loo Cang on the same card. For the second time this evening, we see a dominant clinch performance against an unprepared opponent. Tolonen's well known knockout power is completely neutralized by Ata in the clinch - as Ata lands an amazing 64 punches there. Mid way into the third round here, Ata still dominating this fight.
Ata pushing Tolonen back against the cage and unloading... a big head shot there.. Ata unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Tolonen! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Ata is unloading with more strikes now! Tolonen drops to his knees - ready for the ritualistic beheading. The #1 seed is gone!! A possibly career defining knockout there by Zeki Ata.. he'll be meeting John Franklin in the BotB final for Blitzkrieg's Super Heavyweight title!!!

That's all for tonight folks, I hope you enjoyed this extended edition of BFC: Unleashed!

Until next time fight fans..!
