[Fight Organization Backgrounds]

FARTMMA

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1534123118FARTMMA.jpg

At a glance, it's easy to undervalue the FARTMMA fight organization. Without understanding its history, the name FARTMMA does little to elicit emotions of strength or power. On a whim I asked the owner of the company to explain the name that seemed to be nothing but a joke. His answer surprised me.

The entire name of the company is an homage to the predecessors that came before it. One of the most accomplished managers in the history of MMATycoon was nicknamed The Fart Master. In the present day he goes by Grumpy Bastard. He holds the distinction of having been the #2 ranked manager at one point and still holds his place in the top ten to this day. At the same time, GAMMA is one of the longest running fight organization franchises that the Tycooniverse has ever known. For ten years GAMMA reigned as one of the absolute best fight organizations in the world.

While FARTMMA appears to be a run of the mill joke company, its name is rooted in the very highest peaks that any manager or company owner could hope to achieve.

The Fart Master + GAMMA.

UnderGround Fight Club

There once was a dream that a man could go from nothing to operating one of the premiere mixed martial arts franchises in the world. Tev Clark took that dream and planted it like a seed, deep beneath his feet and soon it began to take root.

As will happen with any small unproven project, there were doubters.

NML3J7j.jpg

But Tev Clark believed in his vision and he kept the dream alive. Since then, UnderGround Fight Club has rebranded itself and launched an alliance, multiple gyms, clothing and nutrition companies. At long last, Tev's dream has truly began to blossom from the underground and see the light of day.

(Heavyweight Division) Cedric Simard (2-0) versus Joao Cajo Branca (4-0)

Representing FARTMMA, Cedric Simard is an undefeated mixed martial artist with two professional fights to his credit. This submission grappler holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Originally from Paris, France, Cedric currently lives in St Petersburg, Russia, where he trains out of the private AK Beasties gym.

Cedric made his MMA debut under the PRIDE banner, taking on Muay Thai stylist Benny Wyadd. Cedric scored pulled guard early, submitting Wyadd with a kimura. In his second bout, Cedric faced BJJ brown belt Pauke Murhapuro. The bout would be much more competitive than Cedric's first outing. In the second round, Cedric hurt Pauke with a head kick, ultimately winning a majority decision.

Representing UnderGround Fight Club, Joao Cajo Branca is undefeated mixed martial artist with four pro bouts on his record. Joao is a world class wrestler and accomplished striker. Born and raised inn Manaus, Brazil, Joao currently lives in Los Angeles, USA. Joao Branca represents the private Temple of Cloud Warriors-youth fight team.

Branca began his MMA career at Scrap Fights 5, where he took on Michael Malloy. Branca won the single round match, slightly edging out his opponent. After taking ome time away from fighting, Joao Branca returned to face Muay Thai stylist Don Bronson Lii at Skrap Fights 19. Brannca dominated Bronson throughout the five minute fight, taking home a unanimous decision. Branca returned to destroy another Muay Thai kickboxer Big Johnson. In his most recent bout, Branca faced Manny Johnson.

This fight will be the first fight in which Joao Cajo Branca fights somebody ELSE's fighter instead of his own manager's fighter.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Techno Viking (4-0) versus Datu Rizalia (4-2)

Representing FARTMMA, Techno Viking is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter specializing in Muay Thai. Originally from Gelderland, Belgium, Techno lives in Las Vegas, USA, where he trains out of the private Ass Private Gym. Three of his four pro MMA bouts have taken place with the FARTMMA promotion.

He made his MMA debut in the QFC arena where he faced Sasquatch Bigfoot, a BJJ blue belt. Viking dominated Bigfoot (there's a sentence I never expected to write) for three rounds of action, hurting him badly in the third round from inside the clinch. Soon after, Techno Viking signed with FARTMMA.

Techno Viking made his FARTMMA debut at FARTMMA 26, taking on BJJ purple belt Killer Mr B. Viking put on a striking clinic against Mr B, picking him apart with strikes from the outside before finishing him in the third round. For his third pro bout, Viking was paired up with heavy handed boxer Kallie Coatzee... who had nothing for Viking in the clinch. After stopping Kallie in the opening round, Techno Viking put on an equally quick performance in dismantling BJJ brown belt Ladimir Volkovniakoiv, also known as “the man with too many letters in his surname”.

Representing UnderGround Fight Club, Datu Rizalia is a former UnderGround FC super-heavyweight title challenger. He is a Muay Thai striker from Rome, Italy. Currently living in Amsterdam, Datu trains out of the UnderGround Wrestling ad Jiu Jitsu gym. All six of his professional fights have taken place in the UnderGround cage.

Datu Rizalia made his MMA debut against future UGFC super-heavyweight champion Colin Kaepernick at Friday Night Fights II. Although he had some early success striking from the outside, Rizalia struggled to keep up with Kaepernick in the clinch and soon went down from the knees of the future dominant champion.

Datu went on a tear across his next few fights, quickly dispatching Lochlan Grant, Israel Montanyo, and Ben Dover. At UnderGround FC 7 he faced brawler Sonny Liston, knocking him out with a head kick in under a minute.

In his most recent bout, Datu Rizalia rematched Colin Kaepernick for the super-heavyweight crown. The championship fight came at UnderGround FC 9. Just like their first meeting, Kaepernick dominated the opening round via strong clinch fighting. In the second round, however, Rizalia came back strong to land some big shots from the outside. The third round, however, belonged to the dominant champion who successfully retained his title with a unanimous decision.

(Heavyweight Division) Jonathan Rain (4-1) versus Evgeni Rasputin (8-3)

Jonathan Rain is a former Immunity Fighting Alliance heavyweight title challenger. Utilizing a boxing style, Jonathan has a background in wrestling. Originally from the United States, Jonathan Rain lives in Amsterdam. He is not currently undergoing any professional training.

Jonathan's first fight was in the QFC arena against BJJ blue belt Johnson Sosa. Rain knocked Sosa out cold with a big one-two combination in just five seconds. Jonathan signed with Ultimate Pit Fighting, making his debut at UPF 3 to take on boxer Donny King. Rain dropped King early with a big right hand and finished him with a left hook shortly after. Jonathan Rain faced a little adversity at UPF 7 when he faced BJJ purple belt Leroy Brown. After dropping the grappler twice in the opening round, he was trapped in the clinch eating shots for the entirety of the second round. Rain came back strong in the third round to win a very close majority decision. This would be his final fight with Ultimate Pit Fighting. Jonathan returned to the QFC arena to face kickboxer Bas Schapendonk, battering the man before knocking him out in just thirty-two seconds.

At IFA 6, Jonathan Rain faced world class striker Anthony McMaster for the inaugural heavyweight championship. Rain dropped McMaster early with a big three punch combination but went down on a big right hand from his opponent shortly after. Rain went down twice more from the punches of McMaster... the second time he was knocked clean out.

Evgeni Rasputin is a high level Greco Roman wrestling practitioner that participated in Season 9 of The Island. He competed in the Alcatraz beatdown and Island Vale Tudo promotions before competing in the season 9 final tournament. He currently lives in London, England, and trains out of the private Riga facility.

After an unsuccessful pro debut against BJJ purple belt Devin Forte in the QFC arena, Evgeni fought twice for Alcatraz beatdown. First he bested fellow wrestler Bryan Mayhem in a three round clinch war. Next he was paired up with another wrestler in King Louie. Most of the opening round was dictated by the takedowns and top control of Louie, who landed punches in bunches from the top position. In the second round, Rasputin made a big comeback in the clinch where he more than made up lost grounds. In the third round, Louie crumbled under the unrelenting wave of punches with his back to the cage. This would be his final fight with Alcatraz beatdown.

After signing with the Island Vale Tudo promotion, Evgeni faced future FARTMMA title challenger and infamous knockout artist Itt Addams. Evgeni showed huge leaps of improvement in his striking as he dominated Addams from the getgo, using his boxing to better the brawler. In the end, Evgeni Rasputin walked away with a very well earned unanimous decision victory. After dropping a fight to future IVT super-heavyweight champion Roldolfo Moraes, Rasputin participated in the finale tournament.

In the final tournament, Rasputin tore through Callan Elijah, effectively retiring the brown belt with a first round TKO. Next he dismantled and disposed of reigning 301st SPARTAN super-heavyweight champion Trafalgar Water Law who was undefeated at the time of their fight. Rasputin faced another undefeated foe in the third round of the tournament when he took on wrestle boxer Lavinio Grano. The fight took place both at a distance and in the clinch with the cuts on the face of Grano inevitably stopping the contest. In round number four of the tournamet, Rasputin faced undefeated Muay Thai stylist Lurch Addams, winning a unanimous decision.

In the fifth round of the tournament, Evgeni Rasputin faced former 301st SPARTAN super-heavyweight champion and Muay Thai knockout artist Tongchai Tor Silachai. Both men landed damaging blows in the clinch, but Rasputin had finally met his match in this position. After being hurt by a right uppercut, he was finished by a big punch two minutes into the opening round.

Evgeni Rasputin made his promotional debut with FARTMMA at FARTMMA 40, taking on promotional veteran Daniel Cormier. Rasputin dominated his fellow grappler on the feet and on the ground to walk away with a clean unanimous decision.

The fight was to be the champion' third title defense on his second acquired title... Georgiev had other plans. The Champion scored the early takedown and the two warriors traded submission attempts until Prohor Georgiev locked in the fight ending triangle choke to force the tap.

Kaep made his first title defense at UFC FNF 1, besting Muay Thai stylitTohit Tohurt in a hard fought judge's decision. In his most recent bout, Colin Kaepernick successfully defended his title against Datu Rizalia in a rematch of their previous bout. This time he won via unanimous decision to retain the title.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20190515024910BELTBELT.jpg Represeting FARTMMA, Newbie Guide© is the reigning two-time FARTMMA Super-Heavyweight Champion. Originally from Rgara, Tanzania, Newbie currently lives in Helsinki where he trains out of the Shark Tank MMA gym.

Newbie Guide started his career in the QFC area, suffering a TKO loss due to a cut against Karl Gustav.

Newbie signed with FARTMMA and quickly earned a reputation as a dangerous finisher with stoppages over Kris Simpson and Dodong Santiago. At FARTMMA 17, Newbie smashed newly crowned champion Farnum Pullum to claim the championship for himself. Karma is a son of a gun, however, and Newbie Guide lost the title in his first defense attempt at FARTMMA 24 against Ryo Takuma.

At FARTMMA 30 and FARTMMA 35, Newbie Guide faced France Nigannou in back-to-back showings. In both encounters, Guide stopped Nigannou via TKO (Cut) in the opening round.

In his most recent bout, Newbie Guide faced Ispa Murhapuro at FARTMMA 45. Although Guide would receive a bad cut that would start giving him complications as the fight progressed, he went on to drop Murhapuro with a big right hand and knock him out cold not long after to once again become the super-heavyweight champion.

(Lightweight Division) Liberal Stomper© (9-0) versus Tan Zan© (13-2)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20190401234215Belt3.jpg Representing UnderGround Fight Club, Liberal Stomper© is the UnderGround Fight Club Lightweight Champion with three consecutive title defenses to his credit. He is, without question, one of the most dominant fighters in the history of the UnderGround Fight Club promotion. He utilizes a boxing style despite being adept at boxing, Muay Thai, and wrestling. Liberal is undefeated in mixed martial arts with nine consecutive victories to his credit including seven knockouts, six of which came within the first round.

Liberal Stomper made his MMA debut in the QFC arena as a lightweight, taking on BJJ brown belt Diarmuid Ua Duibhne. The fight, which was more like a legalized mugging, was entirely composed of Stomper kicking the shit out of Duibhne until the referee stepped in to mercifully end it.

Liberal Stomper signed with FARTMMA as a welterweight, taking on wrestling stylist Clint Eastwood at FARTMMA 8. The fight was about as competitive as any average Liberal Stomper fight, with Stomper out landing his opponent en route to a TKO victory. At FARTMMA 13, Stomper faced former title challenger Andy McCallum in a fight that went the distance. Stomper won two of three rounds, making McCallum the first man to survive going the distance with him but also the first to win a round while facing him.

At FARTMMA 19, Stomper faced true adversity for the first time in his career when he was paired up with blue belt wrestler Sticker Romano. Romano managed to score an early takedown against Stomper and submission spam his way to winning a very one-sided first round. Stomper came back with a fury in the second round. Despite being taken down briefly, Stomper did inflicted enough harm to tie the score in the eyes of the judges. In the third and final round, Liberal Stomper put a hurting on Romano but lost a good portion of the round to being taken down. Despite his successful moments while wrestling, Sticker Romano didn't do enough to overcome the striking of Stomper in the eyes of the judges. Liberal Stomper left FARTMMA with a record of 4-0 before signing with UnderGround Fight Club as a lightweight.

Stomper made his promotional debut at Friday Night Fights III taking on power wrestler Edward Snowden. Unlike in his last fight, Stomper cleanly avoided the takedowns en route to a brutal first round TKO victory.

At UnderGround FC 1, Liberal Stomper faced undefeated wrestling stylist Islam Mamadaliev for the inaugural UnderGround Fight Club lightweight championship. Mamadaliev seemed to be on his way to claiming a world title when he took Stomper down and began dropping brutal ground and pound on the undefeated slugger. For his part, Stomper waited for a mistake and struck when he saw it, reversing to the top position. Mamadaeliev threatened with submissions from the bottom but Stomper simply waited out the clock until the referee was prompted to stand them back up. Back on the feet, Liberal Stomper went to work with his boxing, cracking the wrestler with punches that you could hear from the nosebleed section of the arena. Three minutes in a bleeding Mamadaeliev went down from a right hand. Shaking, breathing heavily, and bleeding profusely Islam got to his feet and shot in for a desperation takedown... Liberal connecting flush with a right hand that put Islam Mamadaeliev out cold stretched. Liberal Stomper was the undisputed lightweight champion and the division shook at the prospect of being the next one to taste those punches.

The first man to be sacrificed on the alter of Liberal Stomper was 4-1 BJJ brown belt Kreapy Krawlee who came into this fight on a four fight winning streak. Liberal dropped the man with the first punch that he threw and chased him back against the cage throwing rights and lefts until the man wilted under the pressure, collapsing to the floor and prompting the referee to jump in the middle and take a few shots himself to rescue the felled fighter.

Liberal Stomper made his second title defense against BJJ brown beltWee Lee Osman at UnderGround FC 6. Osman tried to test the takedown defense of Liberal Stomper and he paid for it with his consciousness, going down from a bombardment of punches in just forty-six seconds.

In his most recent bout, Liberal Stomper defended his title against BJJ purple belt Pax Africa. Liberal came out swinging for the fences immediately and Africa scored a briefly held takedown into guard. Stomper reversed and jumped back to his feet before landing punches to close out the round. Five seconds into the second round. The time it takes for the two fighters to meet in the center of the ring. That is how long it took for Stomper to begin pounding Pax Africa into the dirt. Africa became the ninth man in two years to have fallen before the professional fury of Liberal Stomper.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20190515024910BELTBELT.jpg Representing FARTMMA, Tan Zan© is the undisputed FARTMMA Lightweight Champion, the former Immunity Fighting Alliance Lightweight Champion, and The Island Season 9 Final Tournament Champion. He comes into this fight on a ten fight winning streak. Of his thirteen victories, seven have ended by knockout.

Tan Zan was a participant of The Island's ninth season. He made his debut with back-to-back appearances in the QFC arena, defeating John Freds and Ove Heim.

After signing with the Immunity Fighting Alliance, Tan Zan challenged reigning Lightweight Champion Litill Bjornsson in what would have been the champion's fifth consecutive title defense. Tan absolutely dominated the 8-0 champion in one of the most shocking upsets from that season of The Island. An immediate rematch was booked due to the prior dominance of Bjornsson and this time the former champion performed as was expected, submitting Zan with a first round triangle choke. Despite having lost the title in his first attempted defense, Tan Zan walked away with something even more powerful: respect. Litill Bjornsson would go on to remain undefeated for the remainder of his time on The Island, recording five consecutive title defenses in six fights with big wins over guy like Dirk Kutaz and Stojan Kostic. Litill left The Island with a perfect record... except for that one little black mark where Tan Zan kicked his ass and went home with his championship title. To this day no man has done to Bjornsson what Tan Zan did to him on that fateful night on The Island.

Tan Zan returned to the IFA cage to face former Alcatraz beatdown title challenger and dominant wrestler Ivan Blood. Ivan would go on to dominate Tan from inside the clinch, taking home a lopsided unanimous decision victory. This would be the last defeat in Tan Zan's career as he began to hit his stride. After scoring a pair of easy victories over Rafaello Sanzio Da Urbino and Dean Dupree, Tan Zan knocked out former Alcatraz beatdown lightweight champion John Johnson in just forty-seven seconds.

Tan Zan participated in the final tournament. In the first round of the tourney, Zan quickly knocked out KJ Slade. In the second round he faced former IFA and Alcatraz beatdown lightweight champion Scar Ambe, besting the man via unanimous decision to advance. In the third round he topped former two-time 301st SPARTAN lightweight champion Juan Luna with a first round TKO. In the tournament finale, Tan Zan faced former Alcatraz beatdown lightweight title challenger James Smith. Smith smartly utilized his wrestling to take Zan down early and pound on him for the entirety of round one. He had Zan badly hurt but far from defeated when the opening round concluded. Hurting Tan Zan only served to piss off and motivate the former champion. Tan Zan pushed forward in the second round, defending takedowns like he was born sprawling in the crib. Zan rocked Smith with seconds left in the second round. In the third round, a bewildered Smith attempted to recover enough to survive the remaining five minutes. Smith took Zan down and spent the entirety of the third round on top, dropping ground and pound. Tan Zan walked away with the unanimous decision and the tournament championship.

Back on the mainland, Tan Zan siged with FARTMMA. In his promotional debut, he faced former Alcatraz beatdown title challenger Daleb Managedov. Zan knocked Managedov out cold thirty-nine seconds into the opening round.

At FARTMMA 45, Tan Zan challenged reigning FARTMMA Lightweight Champion Alexander Tverdovskiy for the title. This was the reigning champion's third attempt at defending the title. Tan Zan won the first four rounds of the fight pretty cleanly relying heavily on his clinch fighting to keep the champion at bay. In the fifth round, Tan Zan picked Tverdovskiy apart from the outside, rocking him with crisp punches. The two went the distance and Tan Zan won a very well deserved unanimous decision victory and the title.

As the writer for UnderGround Fight Club I'm obviously supporting Liberal Stomper in this fight, but Tan Zan has had a storied career. I hate to see either of these guys lose at this point.

I'm a little surprised to see the main event take a backseat in the “Fight of the Night” wagon behind Bitch v Robertson, a lower scoring fight from the prelims.

[Main Event]

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Daana Wyte (8-3) versus Oleksander Kurtzov (5-1)

Daana Wyte is a boxing stylist from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This heavy handed phenom has only been stopped once across eleven professional fights with all eight of his victories coming by way of lightning fast knockout. He trains out of the UnderGround Training Facility.

Daana Wyte began his mixed martial arts career as a regional QFC fighter back on the mean streets of Brazil. In his first forray into unarmed combat he faced wrestler Mark Schulz. In their fight, Schulz managed to clinch and land an uppercut against the cage early but for some reason opted to break free and get knocked the hell out. Fellow boxer Charles Marlander would be the next to test Wyte in battle... and the next to fall before the power of the bruiser. Wyte hurt Marlander early, busting his face up before bringing the fight to him directly and stopping him with strikes.

In his third QFC match, Wyte was paired up with BJJ blue belt Hugo Mano. Wyte would do his best and prove that he was more than just a one dimensional brawler when he survived repeated takedowns and submission attempts. However Mano would successfully make the fight an ugly one, winning via split decision in the end. Wyte survived the grappling attempts of BJJ purple belt Jose Hendo, knocking him out cold midway through the opening round.

Daana Wyte took a big step up in level of opponent's grappling level when he faced Joao Machado. Despite the fearsome ground threat of Machado, Wyte came out fast and aggressive, knocking the man out in just nine seconds. Daana Wyte next faced former TWGC and ADCC grappling veteran Gabriel Arges.

For his final appearance in the QFC, Daana Wyte faced world class Muay Thai striker and former three time Spartan Fight Club light-heavyweight title challenger Bob Dock. The two fighters clinched early and Dock went to work with knees against the cage. Wyte would be badly rocked from the assault but survive through to the end of the round. In the second round, the two strikers would go at each other from the outside. A badly fatigued and damaged Wyte held his own as long as he could but a ringside doctor would call off the contest due to cuts received on the face of Wyte. This would be the only time that Wyte has been stopped in professional MMA.

Daana Wyte signed with Destructive Striking Championship at DSC STRIKE 51, taking on fellow boxer and BJJ purple belt Javelle Stone. Wyte went to work with punches early but was taken down for the majority of the opening round, defending submissions. The situation went from bad to worse when Stone took his back and fought to choke him out. The second round was another walk into the worst case scenario as Stone took him down, mounted him, and went to work with submissions from the top position. Wyte survived, escaped to his feet, and proceded to pummel the shit out of Stone, battering him into a defensive shell and forcing a stoppage. Stone never fought again after this match.

Next Daana Wyte signed with UnderGround Fight Club, making his promotional debut at UFC WNF 2. His opponent was undefeated two fight veteran and Greco Roman wrestler Chris Gunn. Both fighters traded heavy blows in the opening seconds of the fight, bloodying the other's face. Wyte was the more aggressive of the two, pushing forward with heavy punches before dropping Gunn with a big combination and knocking him out with an uppercut as he scrambled back to his feet. Despite his post-fight promise to return to the UGFC cage, Chris Gunn retired from active competition shortly after.

At UnderGround FC 7, Daana Wyte faced an overlooked 4-4 puncher named Jimbo Cricky. Cricky had been a participant from The Island where he was a .500 fighter under the Island Vale Tudo banner. Wyte expected to run right through the man and keep his momentum going for a shot at the title. Alas nothing tempts the gods to ruin your plans more than laying them out to be seen. Both fighters received nasty cuts early in the fight as they went punch for punch. Both men were astonished at the other's ability to take their best punches and keep coming forward. In the second round, the fight's momentum began to shift more heavily to favor Cricky. By the third round, an exhausted and bloodied Wyte began pushing forward with desperation to get back into the fight. Jimbo Cricky was having none of it, as he continued to put forward a striking clinic against this man. In the end, Jimbo Cricky would receive the unanimous decision victory while Daana Wyte earned his respect for being the first man to take him the distance without getting hurt or stopped via punches.

In his most recent bout, Daana Wyte faced undefeated 3-0 QFC fighter Tremaine Wiltshire at UnderGround FC 8. Wyte came out hyper aggressive, backing Tremaine up and landing bombs before dropping the man and finishing him with heavy punches. The fight ended at the twenty-seven second mark.

Oleksander Kurtzov is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt from Kiev, Ukraine. Currently living in Las Vegas, Nevada, Oleksander trains out of the Black Flag Fight Club gym, an invitation only institution. Oleksander shares a common opponent with his foe here in that both men have been defeated by Jimbo Cricky.

Oleksander Kurtzov started his mixed martial arts career in the Quick Fighting Championship of Las Vegas. His debut opponent was BJJ blue belt Randell Nicholson. Kurtzov clinched, Nicholson took him down for some reason, and was immediately submitted by the superior BJJ man. The entire encounter lasted twenty-five seconds. Kurtzov returned to face another blue belt named Christopher Carptenter. Just like his last fight, Kurtzov was taken down by a vastly inferior grappler, giving him an easy first round submission victory. Next Kurtzov was paired up with Charlie Potter, a boxer from Ireland. Kurtzov clinched, pulled guard, and submitted the Irish striker in just twenty-seven seconds.

After submitting 5-1 QFC veteran Cattag Dogmock with a first round guillotine choke, Kurtzov signed with UnderGround Fight Club. He made his UGFC debut at UFC FNF 1 against Desperately To Be Positive. Positive was a veteran from season 9 of The Island, where he competed mostly in the QFC arena. Kurtzov withstood the striking assault of Positive early before going on to submit him with a first round armbar.

At UnderGround FC 13, Oleksander Kurtzov was paired up with fellow rising contender and semi-newcomer Jimbo Cricky. Cricky was fresh off a unanimous decision victory over Daana Wyte and was considered to be a wildly hot prospect in the light-heavyweight division. Jimbo Cricky wasted no time in racing across the cage to begin pouring on punches against Kurtzov, trapping him against the cage and forcing him to cover up. Kurtzov offered no resistance until he was badly hurt, then he started doing the arms-out Frankenstein walk forward looking to clinch. Cricky avoided the effort and hurt Kurtzov badly with punches, knocking him out cold in the opening round.

As Jimbo Cricky climbs the throne to challenge the king, the defeated men in his wake face off to determine who will follow him in the ascent.

This five fight MMA veteran was born in Kanazawa, Japan, but currently lives in Amsterdam. He trains out of the UnderGround Training Facility. He has had four total managers in his short career. All five of his pro fights have taken place in the UGFC arena.

He made his pro debut at UnderGround FC 1, submitting Ho Hek with a first round guillotine choke. Shiro returned at UnderGround FC 2, submitting Jay Brown to claim the inaugural UGFC featherweight championship title. At UnderGround FC 3, Shiro successfully defended his title when he stopped Roman Bell with a first round TKO.

At UFC SNF 2, Shiro Tanaka faced Reginald Budgiehandler. Shiro lost his championship when he was caught with big punches midway through the second round and knocked out. In his most recent bout, Shiro submitted John Michael Benitoy at UnderGround FC 14.

Killua Zoldyk is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner with a purple belt in the art. He is also a nine fight mixed martial arts veteran. The majority of his bouts took place during his tenure on The Island during its ninth season.

Killua began his career in the Alcatraz beatdown promotion with a three fight winning streak, defeating Jon Jitsu, Chief Mohawk, and Manny Quirez. After being submitted by Tom Harris, Killua signed with Island Vale Tudo where he lost both of his fights there.

Killua came to the mainland on a four fight losing streak but signed a deal with UnderGround Fight Club anyways. He has gone undefeated across both of his appearances with UGFC, knocking out Kyle Lane and submitting Berklerk Pinsinchai.

(Welterweight Division) Kobayashi Jin (3-0) versus Xyryx Ignacio (4-5)

Kobayashi Jin is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter specializing in Muay Thai as well as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which he holds a brown belt in. Originally from Akita, Japan, Kobayashi currently lives in Los Angeles, California, USA, where he trains out of Psycho's Elites, a private facility.

Kobayashi started his MMA journey with two appearances in the QFC arena, besting Crash Well in a unanimous decision and stopping Greg Peterson with strikes on the feet. In his most recent bout, Kobayashi submitted wrestler Hitori Hanzo with a triangle choke in the second round.

Xyryx Ignacio is here for the biggest squash match since Tyson James kicked the shit out of Karlos Vemola at UnderGround FC 15. Xyryx is a nine fight veteran and a BJJ blue belt with literally no chance of winning this fight. Makes you wonder what is going through his manager's head to accept such a fight.

(Heavyweight Division) Henry Akinwande (3-0) versus John Daugherty (3-1)

Henry Akinwande is a Greco Roman wrestling stylist and undefeated mixed martial arts fighter with three professional bouts to his credit. This Las Vegas native lives in New York, USA, he represents Team Crassus in this fight.

Henry started his career fighting for the Wolf Pack Fighting Championship promotion. He made his debut at WPFC 2, taking on BJJ blue belt and kickboxer Guillaume Ouelette. Akinwande went down early from a big head kick, scrambled to his feet, and ran face first into another roundhouse to the chomper going down once again. Akinwande clinched with Ouelette and wore on him over the course of the three round fight, walking away with a completely one sided unanimous decision.

Next Henry returned to face fellow wrestler Wulfgar Beornegar. The opening round of this fight showcased Boernegar trying repeatedly to bring Akinwande to the ground and keep him there but the wily Greco man kept the fight standing as he weathered the early storm of his opponent. The second and third rounds were dominated by the clinchfighting of Akinwande.

After signing with UnderGround Fight Club, Henry Akinwande faced fellow wrestler Runny Hitter at UnderGround FC 13. Akinwande dominated Hitter in the clinch, hurting him with punches early in the second round before finishing him midway through the round.

John Daugherty is a heavy handed boxing stylist from Hilo, Hawaii, by way of Fordyce, Arkansas. He trains out of the Ferocious Beast private gym alongside a slew of prominent UGFC fighters including Daiyan Jr Jesus Valdes, Xander Colton, and Test Fighter A. John is a career UnderGround fighter with all four of his bouts taking place in the UGFC cage.

His pro debut came at the Friday Night Fights IV event where he knocked out Horacio Romeu Pinto in fifty-three seconds. He returned to the cage at UFC SNF 1 to take on fellow pugilist Patrick Bower. This would be the lone defeat in Daugherty's career as he would be caught with a big punch and stopped in the opening round. At UFC MNF 2, Daugherty rebounded with a thirty-five second knockout over Karlos Vemola.

Most recently, John knocked out Ben Dover who reportedly went home to his wife Eileen after the fight.

[Co-Main Event]

(Welterweight Division) Tiny T Rex (5-0) versus Whorely Alvarez (10-14)

The adorably named Tiny T Rex is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter with five professional bouts to his credit. Originally from the United Kingdom, Rex lives in Los Angeles, USA, where he trains out of the Star Studded Beef gym. All of his professional bouts have taken place in the QFC arena.

Rex began his career in a match with five fight veteran and BJJ blue belt Marcel Lara. The two warriors traded blows for the opening minutes of the fight until Rex scored a takedown and pounded Lara into the canvas. Next he faced English submission fighter Stan Farley. Rex was taken down immediately in this bout but reversed to the top after about a minute of controlling. On top he went to work immediately with damaging blows that ceased Farley's involvement with the fight. In his third pro fight, Rex faced Dominic Harrison, an Australian kickboxer. After eating some big shots early, Rex scored a counter takedown into guard and went to work with ground and pound, putting Harrison out of the fight and into retirement. For his next trick, Rex made BJJ purple belt and proud Convicted Fight Club product Eddie Bravado disappear.

In his most recent bout, Rex faced Muay Thai striker Jason Carter. The fight would be entirely dictated by Rex who would stop Carter with ground and pound two minutes in.

Whorely Alvarez is a wrestling stylist and twenty-four fight veteran of the mixed martial arts cage. Originally from Indigo, Barbados, Whorely lives in New York, USA, where he trains out of the Five Round Fight Club gym. Whorely is a former journeyman from season 9 of The Island where he challenged for the Immunity Fighting Alliance's welterweight championship.

Whorely began his career on The Island during its 9th season. He made his debut in the QFC arena, getting stopped by pugilist Domenik Panayotov in the second round. Whorely returned to the QFC, stopping bruiser Frank Stahl late in the opening round.

Upon making his debut in the Immunity Fighting Alliance, Whorely Alvarez faced BJJ brown belt Gaga Gogo at ROTI-06, stopping the striker with punches in the second round. At ROTI-11, Alvarez ws submitted by BJJ purple belt Karl Lomant. Alvarez returned at ROTI-14 to face future welterweight champion and Island legend Stojan Kostic, but would be submitted by him in the opening round.

At ROTI-18, Whorely Alvarez bested future champion Dannis Till and out struck future UGFC contender Virgil Van Dijk with a second round TKO victory to boot. Despite dropping a unanimous decision to boxer Dino Pelayo, Whorely was granted a rematch with Stojan Kostic who now wore the IFA welterweight title. The rematch didn't go much better than their first encounter, with Kostic submitting him in the opening round to retain the championship.

At IFA: Total War, Alvarez rematched boxer Dino Pelayo, taking home a one-sided unanimous decision. After being bested by former champion Iti Malia and BJJ brown belt Ben Askcrew, Alvarez submitted Mark Hand Of Cotton.

Alvarez finished his tenure with Immunity Fighting Alliance with three consecutive defeats, losing to Leonardo Da Vinci, Don Pelayo, and losing the rubbermatch against Dino Pelayo. Alvarez returned to the QFC to knock out brawler Prince Tonni in the first minute of the fight. Alvarez participated in the final tournament but was promptly finished by wrestler Eddie Guerrero.

Whorely Alvarez returned to the QFC arena where he was stopped by former KFC and AFC welterweight champion Jay Steve. After that he bested BJJ brown belt Alphaios Alevizos and BJJ purple belt John Fadden.

Whorely signed with UnderGround Fight Club, knocking out BJJ brown belt Hanzo Hasashi at UFC SNF 2. Most recently, Whorely is coming off back-to-back defeats at the hands of Juraj Divisek and Cross A Zoo.

[Main Event]

(Heavyweight Division) Mohhamad Iman (6-2) versus Josh Peterson (6-4)

Long before he donned a pair of four ounce gloves, Mohhamad Imam was considered to be one of the brightest shining stars in his neighborhood. A longtime resident of Tehran, Iran, Mohhamad was born into a very wrestling oriented family. His father was a former Olympic wrestler and he raised his son with the same strict disciplined mindset that he had learned himself. After school each day his father would take him to Laleh Park to drill positions and practice takedowns until the sun had left them. For Mohhamad, life had a very linear path to his destiny: he would continue training and learning and then represent his country in the Olympics to bring home the gold. When he was eighteen years old, Mohhamad Iman got his opportunity... but something was off. Whether it was an illness, bad luck, or simply performance anxiety, Mohhamad didn't perform to the level that he knew he was capable of. He was offered the opportunity to still go to the Olympics as an alternate, in case one of the Olympic athletes from his country sustained an injury. In the end all he was able to do to bring his country glory was sit in the stands with a video recorder filming different wrestling matches so that his team could review the tape for future encounters.

Discouraged, shamed, and humiliated, Mohhamad questioned everything that he knew about himself. He knew that he was destined for greatness, but what if he failed to achieve it? Mohhamad poured over these questions in his heart while absently watching a VHS tape with his wrestling teammates. The video playing happened to be a poorly copied version of UFC 52. Mohhammad didn't care about some boxing match, so he sat distracted until his friends all screamed in excitement. Mohhamad glanced up in time to see a man escape from a rear choke, turn into his opponent, literally lift the opponent up to carry him across the cage. The two men collided with the canvas and the man that had moments ago appeared to be losing was on top punching and elbowing his foe before finishing him with the same submission hold that he himself had previously been caught in. All of the boys were instantaneously enamored by this radical new sport and Mohhamad found a sort of spirit guide in the diligence and persistence of Matt Hughes from that one taped fight.

Mohhamad met a man through his wrestling classes that professed to be affiliated with a mixed martial arts academy in Los Angeles, California, USA. Mohhamad was reluctant to leave his home but his father encouraged him to give it a chance, to forge his own path. Just like that, Mohhamad relocated to California and began training in submissions. With only two weeks of training under his belt, he was offered a short notice fight against another submission fighter named Jewel Pratt. Mohhamad knew he could take the man down at will but what then? He hated the idea of holding a man down to punch him in the face, deciding instead to focus entirely on submission grappling. In the QFC arena, Mohhamad and Jewel fought for three hard rounds, trading positions and submission attempts. Mohhamad learned quickly that it was one thing to watch an MMA fight and another to be in the cage fighting for your life. Near the end of the three round engagement, an exhausted Pratt scored a takedown into half guard and Iman was able to reverse to the top position and submit his opponent with a kneebar. The audience was less than excited but to Mohhamad Iman this was almost as great as an Olympic medal. He was obsessed.

Mohhamad returned to the QFC once more as a heavyweight, submitting BJJ blue belt Tanner Barron in the opening round before signing with the World Vale Tudo Fight League as a super-heavyweight, where he would compete in the rest of his future matches.

At WVT4, Iman faced Jiu-Jitsu fighter Javier Janos, besting the man in a hard fought unanimous decision. Unfortunately Iman would face a setback at WVT5 when he was submitted by BJJ purple belt Ake Bono. Unlike during his Olympic run, a loss in MMA was seen as more of an inevitability than a career ender. This freedom allowed Mohhamad Iman to begin fighting more freely and comfortably. He went on a three fight tear, submitting Jakov Pavlovic, Magus Fjeld, and Spas Spasov in rapid succession. At WVT23, he faced a man named Cyrius Python who had nearly thirty pro fights on his resume. Iman was defeated for the second time in his MMA career, falling victim to a unanimous decision.

Within UnderGround Fight Club, Iman has returned to being a heavyweight.

In this fight, Mohhamad Iman will see a very clear path to victory through his wrestling and top control.

Josh Peterson is your stereotypical blue collar man's man. He drinks cheap beer, worked manual labor his entire life, and wears work boots to social gatherings. Competitors often joke that he is the most rough and gruff Canadian they have ever encountered; he doesn't care, he offers no apologies. He originally got into boxing as a way to stay out of trouble and keep busy but realized early that he had an affinity for the sport. While he respects professional boxers, he has infamously commented that he doesn't respect any sport where they “wear pillows” to protect their delicate fingers.

He was taken to mixed martial arts during the gladiator era of the UFC, where men like Tank Abbott were fighting because they simply loved to fight. For Josh, getting paid is simply a bonus, while getting famous is an afterthought. He could care less if the fans want to see him fight.

In ten professional bouts, it was the raw aggression and pressure of Josh Peterson that was the deciding factor between victory and defeat. Every time he performs to the best of his ability, he knows that he can knock out any man.

Josh started his career with three consecutive QFC bouts, facing BJJ blue belt Orlando Murphy, catch wrestler Johnathan Parker, and submission grappler Kris Simpson. The combined three bouts lasted just over one minute total with all three men being left unconscious and broken beneath the weight of his assault.

Josh Peterson signed with GET REKT of London, England, knocking out Deontay Joshua at GR 1 in under a minute. At GR 3, Peterson faced fellow knockout artist and future GET REKT champion Iosif Cobzone. For nearly two minutes the two sluggers stood in the center of the cage trading punches to the delight of the British crowd until Peterson went down from a big overhand right. At GR 10 Peterson faced undefeated Muay Thai kickboxing champion Alojz Sanel. Despite being very evenly matched on the feet, Peterson struggled to keep up with the Muay Thai champ in the clinch, suffering a tremendous amount of damage in the opening round before being stopped immediately in the second. Sanel would go on to knock out Cobzone to become the GET REKT champion.

With back-to-back losses and a completed contract on his hands, Josh Peterson signed with Rapid Fighting Championship, making his debut at Rapid Fight Night 7 to take on BJJ blue belt Dimitri Emelianenko. Peterson would survive an early takedown to come back and win with a big right hand late in the opening round. At RapidFC22, Josh faced former title challenger and Muay Thai standout James Fusi. The fight would be an all out brawl with Peterson dropping Fusi early and battering the man with vicious punching combinations looking for a big finish. Unfortunately he would gas his arms out and eat a big uppercut that hurt him badly. Fusi capitalized and finished the fight, later acknowledging how close he had been to finished himself.

Following the excitement of the Fusi match, Josh Peterson signed with UnderGround Fight Club, making his promotional debut at UFC MNF 3. His opponent was a brawler named Jolly Rodger. The fight would be fifty-five seconds of fury with the two warriors trading punches. Rodger went down early in the minute-long fight, ultimately falling once more to a big overhand right.

In this fight Josh is going to attempt to take advantage of the lack of striking of his opponent and attempt to earn another lightning fast knockout before Iman can put his wrestling to work.

Both men landed some punches late in the round but Lebenanski seemed to be finding his rhythm. However he also seemed to be tiring out. As his opponent slowed, Yoel Edson pushed forward with more strikes in the second round. For some reason, Edson opted to clinch and the break the clinch, score a takedown and then escape to his feet. Regardless he won the second round comfortably. The third and final round was more of a kickboxing match with Edson doing most of the work. Lebenanski was too tired to work but too tough to quit so this one went the distance. Yoel Edson def. Criss Lebenanski via Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-26).
