Makrilli
Won the fight in 1 min 5s without taking a punch and got 12 days injured My fighter's Juronen: The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Juronen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Juronen fails with an attempt to clinch. Inoki fails with the takedown. Juronen plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Juronen lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt! Inoki is rocked! A head kick misses from Juronen. Oh Inoki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Juronen pulls out of a head kick attempt. Inoki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Juronen but Juronen pushes him off and we're back to square one. Inoki fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Inoki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Juronen lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Inoki crumples to the floor! Juronen milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised! And the fight statistics says Inoki only had three failed takedown attempts. Did my guy fall on the stairs on the way to the afterparty or what?
PBR
hurt leg from the head kicks most likely - since no punch was thrown i think injuries has been turned up -- it sure seems like it -- i have been getting a lot more and longer injuries
maf83
If you can break your hand punching, you could break your foot or hurt your leg from kicking.
Guest
I had a 12 second KO that ended with my guy being injured... i noticed injuries are going wild myself... out of 10 fighters 5 are currently injured
Guest
I have to agree with the injuries being a tad high, but its livable. Out of my 15 fights so far i think my guys have been injured maybe 8 or 9 times total. I do how ever think that maybe the performance in a fight while injured should be toned down. I just lost a fight where my fighter had 2 day injury left out of a 14 or 15 day injury. But in the fight the other fighter threw like 25 shots, and only landed 2 or maybe 3. The whole time my fighter just stood there. He attemped to mount no offense at all. I mean hey, my fault for taking the fight and all, but i didnt realize it would be so crippling. I had a pretty damn good chance at winning the fight with out the injury. GG run-on-paragraphs!
maf83
I use Injury time to train like mad.
Rambo
I use Injury time to train like mad. Me too. Even though I don't gotta problem with injuries how they are, I think the chances on 10+ day injuries shouldn't be high unless your guy gets fucked up during a fight. Other then that I like the way things work, and I'm 50/50 on this... I like that fact it don't tell you a particular injury so you can come up with whatever you want, then again at the same time I almost wish it would just say a general area of what was injured.. like... (Arm) (Head)(Hand)(Foot)(Neck)(back)(leg)(body) I guess back and body are pretty much the same thing. Either way, having a pacific area injured wouldn't have to change any game mechanics at all, the more simpler it is, the less you can fuck it up. it could just provide a tiny bit of detail for organization owners (or fighters talking smack) to use after fights. easedel
Happend to me already. I think injuries happen too often really but that is my opinion.
sathias
Happend to me already. I think injuries happen too often really but that is my opinion. If you look at the medical suspensions after a UFC, its usually half the fighters at least that get suspended for a considerable period of time. Guest
I think injuries are fine. The max is like what, 16 days? That's just about two weeks. That gives time to recover, do a bit of training, and rest up for the next fight. Also, they may be frequent, but they're not THAT frequent. Most people are going to come out of a fight at least a little banged up. Having a 6 day injury is practically nothing, unless you HAVE to fight again after you just had a bout. Guest
Bro, Your fighter broke his foot. Breaks happen in fights. It's just the way it goes, be glad its not a month!
watchman817
a few days is more or less a given after more or less any comptetive fight in real life as well....broken bones, nasty bruises, being sore in wierd places, all around feeling like youve been in a fight! a few days after each fight on this game is nothing to cry about really, just adds a bit of realism .....not like your gonna see dudes fighting every 3 days in RL are ya? Eleventhsun
Don't get too discouraged, I got a 16 day injury from taking 0 strikes and landing 2 head kicks and winning. I used the time to train, and since then I popped in subs, bjj, flex, balance, conditioning, and strength twice. The only thing is I took a fight while injured, and lost pretty bad. It may be a mixture of your fighter being injury prone, as well as you hitting him with massive power, so you probably would have got injured either way, just ended up having a easily injured fighter like I think I did. In real life most fighters come out with some sort of injury, may just be bad bruising, or pulled muscles, but still causes them to take days off. Not only that but like you always hear, no fighter ever comes in at 100% they get messed up in training, so we can all be happy that our fighters can still train when injured, and can always come in to a fight at 100% if we rest them properly. easedel
I would say breaks are not so common in real MMA. I just had another fight, landed 2 shots ( elbow and kick ) and hurt 2 days. No biggie, only 2 days but that does seem kinda unreal in a sense considering i didnt get hit once and only attempted 2 shots ( 2 which landed ). Had another fighter get hurt for 16 days & 2 days for cuts ) & he landed 4 attacks and didnt get hit once lol. Also medical suspensions happen mostly because of concussions. So if your fighter gets knocked out, thats understandable for a long injury. Things like i posted with my fighters, that is kinda extreme. Makrilli
I didn't know that you could train injured so it's not a big deal taking a little time off from the actual fights. I don't think I would even take a fight in 12 days even without the injury
