Preview for ABW 50 Gold Edition

Happy, bloody anniversary! OGCFO presents the 50th installment of ABW. And a gold edition it will be indeed with three titles on the line and some of OGCFO's finest on display. It will be mayhem on a scale unlike anything that Hayashi's Lounge has ever witnessed. A mile stone event for the promotion, that will provide several fighters with the chance to land marquee wins. Here is the full card!

Nivolumab "PD1" Opdivo (2-2; OGCFO debut) vs Jonathan Hawkes Jr (0-2; 0-1 in OGCFO)

Welterweight bout

The card will be opened by a fighter, who is debuting in the OGCFO and one, who seeks to bounce back from his spoiled debut, when he lost his first fight with the organization. Nivolumab "PD1" Opdivo is an accurate puncher with some grappling ability, which he so far only used to keep the fights standing. Something that he will want to do as well against Jonathan Hawkes Jr, who always seeks to get top control and use his ground and pounding, though it has yet to net him a victory.

Bashaad Al Hammad (4-1; 2-1 in OGCFO) vs Dilon "TooSlipery " Goncalves (pro debut)

Welterweight bout

Showing how to be successful with ground and pound tactics is Bashaad Al Hammad. A superb wrestler, he only was stopped in his career once (by a cut) and has proven himself to be a gritty costumer, who is tough to be denied in the grappling department. But he is in for his match. Because his opponent will be Dilon "TooSlipery " Goncalves. It may be his MMA debut, but he is a D4 TWGC champion and has won the majority of his fights in the grappling championships by submission. A very dangerous man to tussle around with indeed!

James Pearson (3-1; 2-1 in OGCFO) vs Fedor "The Emperor" Emelianenko (3-2; 1-2 in OGCFO)

Super Heavyweight bout

Following is a fight at 265+ that could make for an unruly style match-up. James Pearson has won all of his fights by knockout but was submitted once. Whereas his opponent, Fedor "The Emperor" Emelianenko, has a knack for submitting his man but ended up being on the wrong end of a knockout, twice. Both men have each others weaknesses therefore well covered. If this leads rather to a nervous standoff or if this one will be short and intense, remains to be seen.

Ushat "Bear" Belov (3-0; all in OGCFO) vs Tank "Trotil" Abbot (1-1; OGCFO debut)

Super Heavyweight bout

The Kazakhstan native fighter Ushat Belov has been on a tear so far and is unbeaten in his first three fights. He has proven himself to be capable and versatile finisher so far, winning by knockout and submission. His next outing will see him square off with the always head hunting Tank Abbot. Out of all the fights on the card this is the one, that I'd happily wager my soul on for it not going the distance.

Anthony "Thunder" Rodgers (4-0; 1-0 in OGCFO) vs Jeremy "Roadrunner" Stylez (2-4; 0-1 in OGCFO)

Light Heavyweight bout

The under card will be closed by Anthony "Thunder" Rodgers and Jeremy "Roadrunner" Stylez. Anthony Rodgers is a young knockout artist and has won all his last three fights by knocking out his opponents in the first. Doing the same with the iron jawed Jeremy Stylez may prove to be a difficult task. Because despite being plagued with a losing record, Stylez has yet to be knocked out. So Rodgers may be better off taking a more measured approach here. For fishing for a knockout could be a reckless and potentially dangerous undertaking.

Master "Turtle" Roshi (6-3; 3-1 in OGCFO) vs John "Son" Niel (4-3; 2-2 in OGCFO)

Lightweight bout

The main card will see Master "Turtle" Roshi and John "Son" Niel in action, first. Master Roshi will look to get back on track after losing a fight for the lightweight crown. A technical and very accurate striker, Roshi is no easy match for any one at this level, when it comes to a prolonged striking affair. His opponent, John Niel, may not have that degree of finesse. But he is a wild brawler, who will not happily oblige with an overly technical fight. Niel pretty much fires with a ll limbs and is absolutely relentless in blowing his opponents lights out. This is a fight between skill and will!

"Mr Hockey" Krease McBreezer (3-2; 2-1 in OGCFO) vs Magomedkhan "Volk Han" Gamztkhanov (5-2; 4-2 in OGCFO)

Heavyweight bout

Krease McBreezer so far has proven himself to be an absolute glass cannon. He either knocked out his opponents in the first or suffered the same fate himself. He is as wild and clumsy a slugger as one will ever find. Much to the delight of the fans in attendance. His opponent has to be mindful of that, given that he himself has been knocked out early twice. But other than that “Vol Han” has a lot going for him. Mostly his submission pedigree, which so far has secured him all of his wins. Should this one go to the floor, then McBreezer will make the brand new experience of losing by submission.

Manny "Shriekin’ Mercenary" Pacquiao (4-0; all in OGCFO) vs Dave Monson (5-2; 5-0 in OGCFO)

For the OGCFO Lightweight Championship of the World

The first title fight of the evening sees OGCFO's Manny Pacquiao return to the cage. He will put his gold on the line for the first time. A crushing knockout artist at 155, he has put away all of his adversaries in the first. And he would love nothing more than to add challenger Dave Monson to that list. Dave Monson is no slouch, though. Victorious in his five OGCFO outings he has this spot well earned and will also prove a difficult challenge for Pacquiao, who is an unknown quantity on the ground. The same cannot be said about Monson, who has won most of his fights by submission. Should he force Pacquiao out of his comfort zone, his reign may come to an abrupt end.

Colt Jones (7-0; 5-0 in OGCFO) vs Conrad Calacon (3-0; all in OGCFO)

For the OGCFO Middleweight Championship of the World

The co-main event for the middleweight strap will be contested between two unbeaten fighters, both boasting a 100% knockout ratio! Colt Jones will have the benefit of having been there before (it's his second defense) and is generally more experienced. But when two hard-hitters collide, such technical discrepancies can be out of the window in a heartbeat. A delicate fight for the fans in attendance and a dangerous opponent for champion Colt Jones for sure. Maybe that should be the fight for me to wager my soul on …..

Quinton Randleman (9-1; 4-0 in OGCFO) vs Ricardo "Meukamba" Machado (7-1; 2-1 in OGCFO)

For the OGCFO Heavyweight Championship of the World

The main event will see OGCFO's heavyweight ace, Quinton Randleman, defend his title again. Many deem him destined for great things. And should he keep defending his title, this should become obvious for more and more eyes in the world of MMA. His opponent however, should not be taken lightly. A wild self-proclaimed can crusher from the bush leagues, the savage Ricardo "Meukamba" Machado is as aggressive as bag of rattle snakes. The wild slugger form Angola is going after his opponents with reckless abandon. So one lapse in attention may prove to be one too many. Quinton Randleman will have to be on point once more!

It was good event. ABW 50 is now a history but worth to remind.

Nivolumab Opvido knocked Jonathan Hawkes Jr just at the beginning of round 2.

Then Dilon Goncalves was better in wrestling match and finally won by kimura (Sub of the night) against Bashad al Hammad.

Unhappy in OGCFO James Pearson destroyed hard Ferdor Emelianenko in 54 seconds and was realesed from org.

Tank Abbot showed his granite chin taking shot after shot after shot. But his skin wasn't so resistant and Ushat Belov win by TKO due to cut.

Anthony Rodgers got KO of the night award for beautiful kick in head of Jeremy Stylez

John Niel and Master Roshi spent 15 minutes in the cage. Good fight (awarded for the best) was suprisingly won by John Niel, who will propably now go for the vacant title.

Krease McBreezer knocked Maghomedkhan Gamzatkhanov in 59 seconds by head kick. Title shot for the winner is waiting.

Manny Pacquiao was another unhappy fighter in OGCFO. He won against Dave Monson and was released.

In the co-main event big battle of two unbeaten. Conrad Calacon dominated Colt Jones from the beginning and knocked him in the 3rd round. New champ is born.

Main event Quinton Randleman beat Ricardo Machado. What to write? Quinton dominated this division and now is looking for new challenges. Good luck and thanks for promoting OGCFO.

Angry Birds WAR 51 Preview

August 8th, Helsinki will be heating up with a great night of fights at Hayashi's Lounge, courtesy of OGCFO!

Lobov v Mizushima

Starting off the night is a classic pairing in the lightweight division, the striker in Artem Lobov (1-1) versus the grappler in Kazushi Mizushima (0-1). Mizushima certainly has the skills to secure his first MMA win, but must fight through the superior hands of Lobov to get ahold.

Pazzini v Mendes

The first of two bantamweight fights tonight, Leonardo Pazzini (1-1) faces Rafael Mendes (1-0). Two great grapplers, Pazzini will need to exploit his advantage on the feet to soften up the black belt Mendes before the two hit the mat.

Eye v Johnson

Another bantamweight matchup, Snake Eye (2-1) faces a proven submission artist tonight in Demitrious Johnson (6-1). Both of Eye's wins came by a finish on the ground, a danger in Johnson's bid for a sixth submission victory.

Tertelgte v Duranto

This featherweight throw-down sees Ernie Tertelgte (2-0) and Roberto Duranto (1-0) put their flawless records on the line to move up the division. Duranto may have an edge in the clinch, but the pair look very well matched, with Tertelgte closing in on contendership for the belt!

Duarte v Cenabre

Jumping up in weight, this light-heavyweight match sees Joel Duarte (3-0) stare down Johniel Cenabre (3-3). Duarte is coming into this fight with a bad case of the blues, but with three quick KO wins, his heart might not come into play. Cenabre's competitive skillset has earned him three finishes as well in his career; an intriguing match in a stacked division!

Wobblinger v King

Tonight's super-heavyweight fight! Louis Wobblinger (7-2) faces Steve King (3-3). Wobblinger's history in the clinch shows a good use of his superior wrestling, but King's general skill in Muay Thai may keep him safe there, and couple with his boxing to deal damage at range. Wobblinger's coming into this fight with a crippled morale and needs to make and ride momentum fast in this fight!

Shark v Ostrowski

Another very well balanced match, light-heavyweights Sharky Shark (12-15) and Krzysztof Ostrowski (19-21) throw down. Some of the most experienced fighters in the division, Shark will no doubt be looking for the KO to ward off Ostrowski's submission advantage. Each fighter is in the top quarter of the division, so a win tonight will give the fans a lot to talk about!

Tokano v Biante

Heavyweight Yoshi Tokano (6-2) looks to have an easy night against Bruce Biante (3-6), coming into the fight with more wins and a stronger skillset. Tokano has everything to lose in this fight with little to gain; a Biante upset will make him the talk of the town and prove his team's ability to strategize wisely.

Fist McGruff v Test Two

Each fighter looking to start another win streak, the talented hands of Fist McGruff (5-7) will be hunting for the head of submission artiste Test Two (6-3)! All six of Test Two's wins come by submission, but all fights start on the feet! McGruff has three knock-out finishes to his name and isn't the easiest to take down. Either one will be getting close to a contendership with a win tonight!

Iku Turso v Travis Randy

Tonight's main event! Iku Turso (4-0) and Travis Randy (7-1) are each riding win streaks towards the top! All ELEVEN wins between the two come by KO or TKO; one of these warriors will be carried out on his shield tonight!

As usual OGCFO will serve their fans two events.

On Tuesday ABW 55 with main event +265lbs division title fight between Ajax Athanas (8-1, OGFCO 5-0) and Gjalund Saltsage (7-3 OGCFO 2-0). Powerful Ajax spent in OGCFO cage 5min 13 seconds with 2'41" fights in his org debut. His last 4 fights lasted total 2min 32 seconds. Gjalund looked nice so far, but Ajax will be real test. Don't go away because you can miss this fight

In the co-main event Gabriel Skrarski (5-1 ; 4-1) will face George Bush (8-4 ; 5-2). Both guys have met few months ago in QFC, Skrarski won by Armbar. Since then both joined OGCFO. Both fighters are good on the ground especially with ground and pound. Skrarski cut badly last opponents while Bush just knocked them out. Re-match will be interesting to watch - this guy who will on top will poropably win.

Also in the card:

Liu Bei (6-2 ; 4-1) - Roy Benavidez (2-1 all OGCFO) two 185lbs division prospects. Bei coming out of a loss to Kron Kai. Benavidez after loss to current challenger Sven Ludwig won one fight by RNC. Bei wins by KO's Benavidez by Subs. winner will join top group of this division.

265 lbs division Titan Reign (3-0 all OGCFO) - Alexander White (1-0, OGCFO) Reign is a prospect who won 3 fights by KO. White is former KT fighter (1-1) now strated to fight MMA rules. Won 1 fight by decision. White is older but it's Reign favorite. Surely good test for White's chin.

155 lbs Joe Ryzon (4-4 ; 2-3) - Michael Padrone (1-0 , OGCFO) debut. Ryzon's record is maybe not impressive but he lost one championship fight against Master Roshi (decision) and then lost to Dave Monson (who got title later). Ryzon 3 losses were decisions, so he spent more time in the cage than Padrone whom only fight last almost 2 minutes. This fight will be answer what both can do. Ryzon can still go lower division and make some damage there, but first he need to make good fight.

ABW 55 is now history. Here are some highlights from the event:

1964 people came to see this event.

In the opening fight Denny Young won by Kimura against Chris Chandler. It was first win in OGCFO for Denny.

Pedro Henrique bounced back after losses to both co-main event fighters and won by unanimous decision against Kadu Alves.

Joe Ryzon showed again he's 15 minute fighter and won by unanimous decision against Michael Padrone.

Titan Reign added another quick victory to his record knocking Alexander White with beautiful head kick worth KO of the Night award.

Roy Benavidez again showed his great ground abilities subbing Liu Bei by Guillotine. Got Sub of the Night award and is ready for more action.

Fight number 8 of the event was awarded Fight of the Night Award. Sunny Day in his OGCFO debut was a little bit more active and accurate and deservedly got all rounds from the judges. For Stanislav Chistov it was second straight loss, but former OGCFO champ is still young and will attack top soon.

The co-main event was announced as a good ground and pound fighters, suspecting first on top would win. And it was like it was predicting. Gabriel Skrarski got succesful second takedown attemp and went on top. George Bush from the bottom tried sub attemps first but all 3 weren't succesful. Then Skrarski got to work hard with some sub attemps and strikes. The strikes were key to win. After two minutes Bush got cut, and after strikes it just got worse, and doctor decided to stop the fight. Third straight win by Cut for Skrarski.

The main event lasted longer that it was suspected. Ajax Athanas needed 3minutes 40 seconds to knock Gjalund Saltsage. Saltsage showed big heart and solid chin but it wasn't enough today, but will get good fights to rebuild his position in the division. And Ajax will have to defend title again.

Another event will take place today. ABW 56 Vasara - Swift Jr due to title fight in 145 division.

Title fight is the main event. Leka Vasara won vacant title (after Khabibib Nurmagomedov was stripped) beating Sergei Dovlatov in the second round. Vasara is 4-2, 3-1 in OGCFO. His opponent Kane Swift Jr is 2-0 all in OGCFO. He was second best fighter who won his last fight so now gets title shot. It would be interesting fight to watch.

Co-main event is title eliminator in this division. Former champ (lost to Nurmagomedov) Lenny Douglas (5-2 / 4-1) after beating Leo Murray got closer to get chance to regain title. He'll face danger Artur Kornik (3-2 / 2-2) who lost to top Org fighters, but showed some class in those fights. Now he'll get chance to another attack. Douglas is favorite, but OGCFO has seen many suprises.

Also in the card there will be 2 fights in Superheavy weight division. Former champion (first of the Org) John Riverson (6-9 / 4-2) will try to bounce back after two losses fighting reappearing in OGCFO Harold Sherman (9-13 / 0-3). Both fighters like ground fight and both have lost most of their fights by knock outs.

Jared Williams (3-2 all OGCFO) after beating John Riverson will try to get closer to title shot. He'll face Super Meat Boy (2-1 / 2-0). Meat Boy won both OGCFO fights and also has big ambition. winner of this fight will get eliminator on ABW Athanas - Skrarski.

In 265lbs division will meet 2 19 y.o. prospects both career 2-1 records, Semmy Cobb (1-1 OGCFO) and Leo Moracchioli (OGCFO debut). Surely interesting fight to watch.

In 185 division there will be interesting fight between debuting in OGCFO Mark Garbut (1-0) and Yoshi Fujiwara (2-0 all OGCFO). Both are undefeated. So big fight at this stage of their carreers for both.

Also interested fight to watch should be in 170 lbs while two experience fighters both debuting in OGCFO will meet . Rashid Magomedov (7-2) will face Icarus King (4-6). Looking at records Magomedov is favorite, but only sure thing is that winner will get one of the top org fighters next time.

In todays event we had 8 first round knockouts in 8 first fights and decisions in co-main and main event. But let's keep the order.

Josh Lucas debuting in OGCFO get KO of the night award for nice looking hard punches on Karey Fangbattle face.

Rashid Magomedov showed nice counter abilities that helped him to knock out Icarus King.

Also win is added to Semmy Cobb record.

John Riverson got his first career KO win.

Super Meat Boy is closing to title shot. After beating Jared Wiliams he'll get eliminator fight.

Co-main event was awarded fight of the night. Lenny Douglas was more effective in the standup, even rocking Kornik in the 3rd round, while "Polish Mutant" was looking for his chance in the ground fight. Judges liked more standing effort from Douglas and gave him all 3 rounds.

Mai event was a 25 minute ground fight. In the 1st round it was Swift Jr who got takedown and while Vasara tried some submissions judges liked more challengers effort. 2nd round began from champion's takedown with quick reversal of Swift Jr. Challenger was more active and got another round. Next round also for challenger, while 4th round was dominated by current champion who looked for many submissions, but Swift Jr defended well. 5th round was also for Vasara, but final score was unanimous, all judges scored 48:47 for NEW featherweight champion Kane Swift Jr. It was close fight and i think both guys will meet sooner or later to decide who is better.

ABW 68 preview by Hoyt Sanderson

Welcome one and all to the official ABW 68: Calacon-Suleymon match preview. OG Cardinals Fighting Organization, one of the up-and-coming organizations in the Helsinki area, brings to you another hyped event to Hayashi’s Lounge this Tuesday with a fight card loaded with talented fighters hungry to bring the pain.

Let’s take a look at the fights, brought to you by Vikai Gear:
Conrad Calacon (5-0-0) vs. Ibrahim Suleymon (4-1-0) – 185 lbs. TITLE MATCH

What a match-up for a title fight! Two of the highest ranked fighters in the entire organization, Calacon-Suleymon looks to be a thrilling contest. Conrad Calacon, as well-rounded a fighter as they come, is unbeaten in his young MMA career with all five of his wins coming via knockouts or technical knockouts. Calacon enters the octagon coming off a devastating first-round TKO victory over Sven Ludwig in ABW 59, his first title defense since winning the title in ABW 50. Simply put, Calacon is a destroyer; only two of his five opponents escaped the first round before succumbing to Calacon’s excellent muay thai strikes and amazing cardio.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim “Janjaweed” Suleymon is aiming to take the title belt home to his native Sudan from Calacon. Winner of three consecutive fights after suffering a three-round unanimous decision defeat in Angry Birds War 30, Suleymon will look to utilize his superior boxing skills and heavier frame against Calacon. An excellent striker with strong cardio and endurance, Suleymon is the victor of two straight third-round knockout wins and recently won “Fight of the Night” honors for his three-round bout against Merle Highchurch in ABW 59 to earn his title opportunity.
This match-up is everything we should look for in a title match: a pair of exceptional strikers going toe-to-toe against one another for the ultimate prize. Will Calacon defend his title for a second time, or can Suleymon upset the undefeated Calacon? Tune in and find out!

Colt Jones (8-1-0) vs. Kyle Pits (7-6-0) – 185 lbs.

In the other 185 lb. match on the card, this one features two great fighters in favorite Colt Jones and underdog Kyle Pits. Jones enters the night after a TKO win in Angry Birds War 61 following the first defeat of his young career. The 21-year old Jones has won every match of his career via knockout, with all but two of those matches lasting past the first round. The scouting report on Jones shows him as especially gifted both on his feet and on the mat. In his last bout against Stone Cold Killa, Jones had his way with “Gorilla” on the mat before landing a huge counter punch against his opponent before finishing him off with a number of strikes. Jones is itching to reclaim his title belt from Calacon, and a win against Pits could set him up for a rematch.
In the other corner is the on-and-off Kyle Pits, winner of seven bouts against six defeats. Making his organization debut after moving over from Devastation Fighting Championship in Australia, the Aussie is looking to land himself a statement win in his new home. A strong striker with knockout potential, Pits will have his hands full with the more talented Jones in the three-round bout. Pits recently snapped a two-match losing streak with a TKO via strikes in the first round over CJ Saaim in DFC 65, his final match in the Australia-based organization.
While it looks like Jones is the heavy favorite entering the ring, anything is possible once that bell sounds.

Washe Lay (2-2-0) vs. Sergei Dovlatov (5-1-0) – 145 lbs.

Teenage sensation Sergei Dovlatov will go up against Washe “Clit Lock” Lay in a match in the featherweight division that could set up one man for a title match and the other for better things going forward. Winner of two Fight of the Night honors and one KO of the Night distinction during his tenure at OG Cardinals Fighting Organization, Dovlatov is the fifth-ranked fighter in the 145 lb. weight class and a win over his opponent should put him in the conversation for a title fight against current champion Lenny Douglas. The Angelino is coming off a brutal knockout victory over Allen Wilson in ABW 57, and will look to utilize his strong boxing and muay thai skills to earn himself his sixth win before turning 20.
After beginning his MMA career with a pair of losses, Lay looks to have turned things around since joining OG Cardinals Fighting Organization, winning his next two bouts via unanimous decision in ABW 41 and ABW 62, respectively. Fighting out of his home base in Amsterdam and representing Cambodia in the ring, Lay would be wise to lean heavily on his superb muay thai if he wants to come out of this one with a W. With a tough set of knees and good quickness on his side, Lay’s got as good a chance as anyone for an upset.

Phil Ure (3-5-1) vs. Titan Reign (4-0-0) – 265 lbs.

In our first big-boy fight of the card, we’ve got one fighter looking unstoppable against another aiming to snap a long run of bad luck. Titan Reign is quickly moving up the ranks in the 265 lb.-weight class with one win after another. Reign hasn’t had a fight last past four minutes overall, winning all four of his matches by way of brutal knockouts. Reign is another well-balanced fighter in this organization, extremely talented both on his feet and on the mat and has the cardio to last him a fight should he need to. Keep an eye on Reign as he may one day be wearing a title belt.
Phil “Morbid” Ure is, to put it politely, sucking ass lately. Dating back to his days as a member of the defunct Honour Fighting Championships in London, Ure hasn’t won a match in five events and has been knocked out in four straight matches. His last win came on December 17 when he won Submission of the Night with a third-round Guillotine over the now-retired Willem Van Der Weegh. Prior to that, the 28 year-old tap-out specialist had been on the winning end of two of three matches, all via submission. The Londoner needs a win over the heavily-favored, younger Reign if he wants to stave off retirement and right the ship that is his MMA career.

Joel Duarte (4-1-0) vs. Charles Eduardo (5-3-1) – 205 lbs.

We’ve got a fight of complete opposite strategies and skill-sets on hand for this one. In one corner, Joel Gico” Duarte is a classic stand-up boxer with devastating hands that can crumble any defense. Climbing his way up the ladder of the 205 lb. weight class, Duarte has knocked out every one of his opponents in the first round with punishing strikes, winning himself KO of the Night honors twice against Tristan Yurgnittu in Angry Birds War 27 and Michael Jordan in ABW 33. As tough as he is, however, Duarte is not invincible; just ask Joniel Cenabre about his knockout win over “Gico” in Angry Bird War 51.
Meanwhile, his opponent is a specialist in the ground game. Charles “Dentinho” Eduardo is riding a two match winning streak into ABW 68, with a TKO win over Wilson Carlos in ABW 45 and a unanimous decision victory over Cenabre in ABW 58. If he wants to make it three wins in a row this Tuesday, Eduardo will be looking to take this one to the mat with his superb wrestling and purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Vasilios Megalos (1-0-0/1-0-0) vs. Daniel Santos (1-2-0) – 155 lbs.

A thrilling match-up between two young fighters is on the docket in this 155 lb. match.
Vasilios “Caesar” Megalos, a strong stand-up fighter that also competes in kickboxing matches, is coming off his debut match against Artur Osinen in August at ABW 59. In his debut match, Megalos utilized his strong boxing talents, exceptional muay thai skills, and high stamina to pull off a third round TKO victory. Look for the 20 year-old to utilize plenty of strikes against his opponent on the night.
Daniel Santos finds himself in the middle of a two-match skid entering his bout against Megalos. Since winning his first career match, the Argentine teenager has dropped back-to-back matches via unanimous decision. Santos possesses excellent boxing skills and good strength, so the threat of a knockout from the Argentinian is always present when he enters the ring. Santos also has an advantage in the wrestling department according to MMA insiders, although it remains to be seen whether he will utilize it this Tuesday against the Greek.

Leonardo Pazzini (1-2-0) vs. JD Dayley (2-3-0) – 145 lbs.

A pair of submission specialists square off in this Featherweight match. Leonardo “The Killer” Pazzini of Argentina brings a two-match losing streak into the ring for this Tuesday. Pazzini is a strong wrestler and his BJJ brown belt should prove him well against his opponent.
JD “The King” Dayley snapped a three-bout skid with a unanimous decision in his match at Angry Birds War 61. His victory against Wasyl Plutov saw him spend the entirety of the match on the ground, thanks to his skills as a wrestler and his purple belt.

Tank Abbot (2-2-0) vs. Fiachra MacNeill (0-10-0) – 265+ lbs.

Our only Super heavyweight match of the evening features an up-and-down Tank “Trotil” Abbot and a stuck-in-reverse Fiachra “The Sheer Violence” MacNeill. Abbot has alternated wins and losses in his four career matches, winning both of his matches via KO and TKO. His first-round knockout win against Rodrigo Santos in ABW 58 earned him KO of the Night plaudits and an extra $2,000 in his pocket. Abbot will look to keep this match upright, where he has an advantage as a superb boxer.
All the credit to manager Conny McKickboxing, because I’m not sure a lot of managers would stick by a fighter who has yet to make it to the third round of a fight. MacNeill has been on the receiving end of seven KO/TKOs and three submissions, and I’m not sure how much more punishment and defeat one man can take.

Jaime Sparx (2-5-0) vs. Snake Eye (2-3-0) – 135 lbs.

Here we have a couple of fighters looking to bounce back after a string of losses. Jaime “Rock Em” Sparx finds himself on a two-match drought after picking up a win by unanimous decision in Angry Birds War 31. Both losses, a knockout at ABW 45 and an armbar submission at ABW 59, came in the first round, so getting past those first five minutes should be vital for the young American. Look for Sparx to do everything he can to keep this fight upright, where he has a distinct advantage over his opponent.
Snake “GreenLight” Eye, who’s career started off so promising with two consecutive wins, enters Tuesday night off three straight losses. If he wants to end his losing streak, the 26 year-old Russian should look to take this one to the ground with his strong wrestling and work the ground-and-pound or look for a submission win with his BJJ blue belt.

Wasyl Plutov (1-2-0/2-3-0) vs. Edward Hands (2-3-0) – 145 lbs.

Our final match of the night features a hard-kicking Ukrainian squaring off against a well-rounded Englishman. Wasyl “Pluto” Plutov is looking to right the ship after two consecutive defeats by way of unanimous decision, including his organization debut against Dayley in Angry Birds War 61. Plutov has a tough chin and solid striking skills in his arsenal, and hopefully that’s just enough to get him off this losing streak.
Ever since starting his career 2-0, Edward “Scissor” Hands has been on the losing end of three straight matches. Finding more preference on the ground thanks to his wrestling and BJJ skills, Hands should look to keep away from Plutov’s powerful hands and feet and get this on the ground where he has a better shot of coming out on top.

ABW 68 review by Hoyt Sanderson

What an event to kick off October! Everybody loves a good knockout, and boy were those in supply at Hayashi’s Lounge for OG Cardinals Fighting Org ABW 68: Calacon-Suleyman, sponsored by Vikai Gear. Eight of the ten scheduled matches were decided by knockout or technical knockout, while the other two were decided by submission.

Tuesday night’s card was headlined by unbeaten Middleweight champion Conrad Calacon and challenger Ibrahim Suleyman squaring off for the 185 lb. title. Calacon controlled the match from the opening whistle, landing punches and kicks all over the Sudanese challenger. Although Suleyman was able to trade blows with the champ, Calacon’s excellent stand-up game allowed him to pick his shots and deal significant damage to the challenger. The match ended 47 seconds into the second round when the Canadian dealt a big straight from his left hand that sent Suleyman to the canvas. Calacon followed him down and overwhelmed his opponent with punches until the ref jumped in to stop the fight.

Another exciting fight may very well determine the next title match in the Middleweight division, as Colt Jones delivered a knockout win over his opponent Kyle Pits. Jones started off the match with a damaging cut to Pits off a three-punch combo that set the tone for the short but exciting match. The former Middleweight champion continued to press Pits, landing counter-punch after counter-punch until he finally dropped Pits with a hard straight from his right hand that knocked his opponent out cold.

Jones’ win moves him up to #2 in the division and a rematch against Calacon is all but expected. The two previously fought on August 3 in AGW 50 Gold Edition, with Calacon eventually scoring a third round TKO over the former champ Jones.

Our Fight of the Night award goes to Daniel Santos vs. Vasilios Megalos in the Lightweight decision. “Caesar” Megalos controlled the match from the first whistle with his superior clinch and muay thai skills, dealing damage to Santos in the form of shots to the head and body that would take its toll on the young Argentine. Megalos was in firm control of the match, dominating each round with superior striking and clinchwork, and was looking at winning his second consecutive match. Then, out of nowhere, Santos landed a huge shot to the head that dazed the Greek and gave Santos his opening to go for broke late in the third round. Santos eventually ended the fight with only 18 seconds left in the round when he ducked poor cross and countered with a hard right that sent Megalos to the floor. The ref jumped in to stop the match after Megalos couldn’t defend himself from a flurry of Santos strikes from the mount position, and the Argentinian teenager fell to his knees in joy.

Tonight’s KO of the Night came from Snake “GreenLight” Eye over Jaime “Rock Em” Sparx in the lone Bantamweight fight of the evening. In a fight that lasted just less than a minute, Eye took Sparx to the ground with an expert takedown and started raining blows upon the Californian until he knocked him out with a double hammerfist. Eye will take home a cool $2,000 for his efforts.

Our final award, the Submission of the Night, goes to Leonardo “The Killer” Pazzini for his first round guillotine over JD “The King” Dayley. Pazzini, now 2-2-0 with the win, scored the submission win from the bottom position after being brought to the mat by a double leg takedown into half guard. As Dayley worked the ground and pound, Pazzini slipped into the full guard and threw in a tight guillotine from which Dayley couldn’t escape, and the American was forced to tap out.

Other fight’s from tonight’s event:

145 lbs. – Sergei Dovlatov improved to 6-1-0 with a KO win over Washe “Clit Lock” Lay. Dovlatov controlled the tempo of the fight from the beginning, rocking Lay with a hard punch to the dome early in the first round before eventually putting him to sleep with a powerful straight right hand with less than two minutes to go before the bell.

265 lbs. – Titan Reign continues his ascent through the Heavyweight division with a first round TKO by strikes over Phil “Morbid” Ure. Reign started off the match by delivering a cut under the eye of the London-native with a hard left hand, and it would only get worse from there for Ure. Reigns eventually ended the fight with a hard straight right that sent Ure crashing to the mat, and the young American eventually landed a few undefended strikes before the ref swooped in the stop the fight.

205 lbs. – Joel “Gico” Duarte scored the fastest win of the competition with a technical knockout 12 seconds into the first round over Charles “Dentinho” Eduardo. Eduardo didn’t land a single strike and was cut just seconds into the round by a Duarte looping left before being sent to the mat by a vicious uppercut.

265+ lbs. – To the surprise of no one, Tank “Trotil” Abbot dispatched Fiachra “The Sheer Violence” MacNeill with a booming overhand right for a brutal knockout 17 seconds into the first round.

145 lbs. – In the final match of the night, Wasyl “Pluto” Plutov submitted Edward “Scissor” Hands in the first round with a guillotine. Hands scored three takedowns in the first round, but after one minute Plutov reversed position into full guard and slipped in his chokehold and forced a tap out from Hands.

Another day, another event for OG Cardinals Fighting Org as they host ABW 69(nice)ce): Tektas-Monson on Thursday, October 5. Returning to the 2,000 seat Hayashi’s Lounge, ABW 69(nice)ce should prove to be yet another successful event for the Finnish fighting organization, headlined by another highly-anticipated title bout in the Lightweight division.

Let’s get a look at the night’s line-up, brought to you by Vikai Gear.

Demetrius Tektas (5-0-0) vs. Dave Monson 6-3-0) – 155 lbs. TITLE MATCH

We’ve got another thrilling title fight on our hands this week as we have a pair of submission artists going toe-to-toe for the Lightweight belt. Tektas has won four out of his five matches via submission, with his last win against John Niel in ABW 58 coming by a Rear Naked Chokehold in the first round, earning him the belt. In addition to his brown belt in BJJ, Tektas is a terrific wrestler and can take a punch like the best of them.

2-1 under new manager Altin El Topolino, Monson is looking at his second opportunity for a championship belt after losing to Tapani Kansalainen in ABW 50 via a first round KO. Monson won his last match via triangle hold in the first round at ABW 60 over Leonard Owusu.

Monson is the better boxer, while Tektas is the better wrestler. Only one way to find out how this one goes down.

Atha Wolf (4-1-0) vs. Master Roshi (7-4-0) – 155 lbs.

It’s young buck Atha Wolf against old man Master “Turtle” Roshi in our eliminator 155 lb. match. After starting his OG Cardinals Fighting Org career with a TKO loss, Wolf has gone on a tear with three straight brutal first round wins. His latest fight, in Angry Birds War 61 against Petro Pspic, Wolf battered his opponent to a TKO win only 14 seconds into the fight. His exceptional muay thai combined with his strong boxing and good strength makes him a great threat in the stand-up game.

Roshi bounced back from two-consecutive defeats, including a loss in a title defense at ABW 40, with a TKO in the third round of Angry Bird Wars 61 that earned him Fight of the Night. Roshi is a wonderful boxer with solid wrestling ability that should do him well if this match goes to the mat.

The winner of this highly-anticipated contest will get a shot at the title in their very next bout.

Nadine De Lange (6-2-0) vs. Gjalund Saltsage (7-4-0) – 265+ lbs.

OG Cardinals Fighting Org newcomer Nadine “The Croc” De Lange faces off against Super Heavyweight title contender Gjalund “Captain” Saltsage. Coming over from Carnage 265+, De Lange is looking to get his non-QFC career off the ground after going 1-1 in the Las Vegas-based organization. De Lange works best on the ground, with good wrestling skills and a brown belt in BJJ.

Finnish Saltsage is coming off a title defeat to Ajax Athanas in ABW 55, and will be looking to get back into winning form with a win over the German newcomer. With six of his seven wins coming via KO or TKO, Saltsage has great knockout ability to go with his excellent muay thai and strong chin.

Takeda Shinjen (7-3-0) vs. Karey Fangbattle (2-3-0) – 170 lbs.

The #4 contender in the Welterweight division will take the cage against the man with a 1-1 record in the OG Cardinals Fighting Org. Takeda “Tiger of Shen” Shinjen has everything one needs for a title contender: great stand-up, excellent ground work, toughness, knockout strength. All he needs is consistency. After winning five straight matches, including a title win and one defense, Shinjen has gone 1-2 in his last three matches. The Tiger of Shen will need to regain a consistent form if he wants another shot at that belt.

Fangbattle has alternated wins and losses for the entirety of his career, and he needs a win if he wants to turn his career around in the right direction. He’s coming off a loss at ABW 56 that saw him get knocked out in the first round, so he would be better spent utilizing his wrestling skills to take this to the mat and avoid his opponents BJJ.

Nobunga Tanaka (2-1-0) vs. Bob Johnson (3-1-0) – 135 lbs.

It’s black belt against white belt in this Bantamweight showdown. “Wacky Octopus” Despite earning the first win by submission of his career in his last fight at ABW 62, his mastery of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and wonderful wrestling abilities should let opposing fighters know in bright neon lights to avoid going to the ground at all costs. Tanaka also possesses decent stand-up and clinchwork, but he prefers to be ground fighter first.

While he possesses a mere white belt in BJJ, that doesn’t mean Johnson is doomed from the start. The Englishman brings into the ring wonderful boxing skills, exceptional wrestling, knockout power, and a three-match winning streak. If Johnson can keep this match upright, he’s got a very good chance of coming out the victor.

Shin Ichi (3-4-0) vs. Futsohi Matsunaga (4-1-0) – 135 lbs.

A pair of Japanese combatants takes the cage in the second Bantamweight fight of the evening. Ichi is riding a two-fight losing streak into Thursday, with both loses coming by decision, and he’ll be return to his winning ways by utilizing his purple belt and superb wrestling against his opponent.

In addition to a purple belt, Matsunaga brings a more rounded fight game into the cage this evening. Despite losing his last fight, a title bout against Paul Murhaa in ABW 62, Matsunaga is confident he can return to form and get another shot at the Bantamweight belt. Matsunaga is a wonderful boxer, a remarkable wrestler, and has a chin tough enough to take a punch and keep moving forward.

Konrad Curze (2-2-0) vs. Dan The Beast (3-2-0) – 265 lbs.

Konrad “Night Haunter” Curze is coming off a big win over Bartlomiej Szymuszowski in ABW 59, giving him a big confidence boost entering Thursday’s bout with a challenging opponent. Curze can do a little bit of everything, but where he excels is in muay thai and the clinch.

Dan “The Beast” The Beast, so nice he used his last name twice. The Beast snapped a two-fight losing streak with a submission win over Bruce Biante at ABW 58, and will be gunning to make it two straight wins on Thursday. The Beast looks mostly to be a stand-up fighter, but he can go to the ground and force a submission if he so chooses.

Mick Bison (6-2-0) vs. Fedor Emelianenko (4-3-0) – 265+ lbs.

“Big” Mick Bison will be looking to shake off some rust entering the ring tonight, having not fought in a month since winning with a brutal knockout over Waldo Blue at ABW 60. Although lacking in morale at the moment, Bison surely isn’t lacking in his boxing skills or his knockout power.

Fedor “The King” Emelianenko snapped a two-match losing streak with a TKO win over Fiachra MacNeill at Angry Birds War 61. The big Russian has solid strength in those meaty fists of his, and will look to use his wrestling to keep Bison off balance.

Asko Askinen (3-6-0) vs. Wilson Carlos (2-6-0) – 205 lbs.

Asko “Nelson” Askinen possesses strong stand-up in both boxing and muay thai, and he will need to use it to snap a three-fight skid. Also look to see him use his strong wrestling to unleash those hammer fists onto the face of his opponent.

Wilson “Marreta” Carlos has lost two-straight matches by a split decision and a TKO. Aside from his respectable muay thai, he doesn’t have a lot going for him. Still, upsets are always possible once that bell sounds.

Lazar Nemirov (6-3-0) vs. Li Lianjie (3-5-0) – 135 lbs.

In his OG Cardinals Fighting Org debut, Nemirov was dropped deep in the third round by a flurry of punches from his opponent. The Russian will be looking for a better result moving forward, relying on his respectable boxing and strong wrestling to take control of this Bantamweight match.

LJ “Jet Li” Lianjie will be aiming to keep this match standing, as he has the better muay thai to combine with his boxing.

ABW 98 Verygood - Wawelski Event Review

English "Football" Hooligan and Donall "The Damage" Doyle are the opening fight in the event. It takes place in the Middleweight division. Hooligan lands a left and a right that send Doyle crashing to the mat, dazed. Hooligan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! After Doyle gets up pissed and rocks Hooligan. Both of these guys are going all out and looking for the knockout. Hooligan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Doyle sprawling to the canvas! Another right hand from Doyle and the fight is over! A early stoppage in the first round.

The second fight is featuring Chosu Viv and Brandon Long in the Featherweight division. Viv starts with a early feint and completes a takedown. Viv continues with constant pressure and does not allow Long to get off the ground. Viv then goes for some ground and pound since his submission attempts are not working. A few hammerfists cause Long to be rocked. Viv gets to a postured up position and lands a elbow to end the fight in the first round.

The third fight is featuring Bruno Brunatny and Raymond "Bang Bang" Gazelle in the Middleweight division. This fight was done so fast most of the crowd had to watch the really to see what really happened. Brunatny has constant pressure with kicks to the head which are mostly blocked and body shots. This opens up Gazelle and he misses with one head kick and the uses his other leg and drops his opponent to the mat. What a knockout!

The fourth fight is featuring Thiago "Pitbull Assassin" Thiago and Helmuth "Rabbit" Tuminen in the Light Heavyweight division. An early checked leg kick by Tuminen and you can hear Thiago’s bone crack. Thiago receives a early cut when after the check Tuminen counters with a uppercut. Tuminen forces Thiago against the cage and he begins to control his opponent. he lands many punches and stalls slowing down the pace. A right hand by Thiago in the clinch and he rocks Tuminen. Thiago scores with a shot to the side of Tuminen's head.

Oh Tuminen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Thiago unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Tuminen! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Thiago is unloading with more strikes now! Tuminen drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

The fifth fight is featuring Jeremy "Roadrunner" Stylez and Alexander Gustafson in the Light Heavyweight division. Jeremy Stylez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today? Gustafson lands a early takedown into side control. He begins to stall and not allow Stylez to get up from the ground. Gustafson keeps looking for a kimura but cannot lock it in for the tap. Stylez is doing a good time blocking Gustafson’s ground and pound. Gustafson moves into mount and begins to look for a choke. The bell rounds and that round was all Gustafson. Gustafson goes in for a quick takedown and gets punches for his effort. Gustafson glances at the clock... BAM! Stylez nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Gustafson crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Gustafson is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

The sixth fight is featuring Enitan "The Eagle" Arendse and Jesse Point in the Lightweight division. Enitan has never lost a fight and is a favorite in this fight. Arendse pushes Point against the cage and clinches him. Point shortly gets out and Arendse continues to land after most of his exchanges. Arendse dominated that round with constant pressure and punches that landed more than his opponent who was put on the defensive. The new two rounds were mostly Arendse who dominated the offense and never let up. Causing Jesse to never do much in the whole fight.

The seventh fight features Kurt Verygood and Kosma "Dragon" Wawelski fighting for the Bantamweight title. Wawelski doesn’t take long to go for a takedown but a sprawl by Verygood and he is out. Veryigood lands a lot more strikes on his opponent then his opponent and is the defendant more aggressive fighter in this bout. Both fighters cannot seem to land a takedown early in the round pronely taking out there gas tanks with each missed attempt. Wawelski finally lands a takedown into Verygood’s guard. From here he attempts a sloppy submission which doesn’t work. The referees stand the two fighters up. Wawlwski continues to move out of range of Verygood’s strikes for the most part but some do connect. The round ends. Verygood tests Wawelski's chin there with a solid looking shot in the early seconds of the round and Waveiski is rocked. A right hand from hell from Verygood and the fight is over.

The eighth fight is in the Welterweight division featuring Roderick "Rìgh" Turnbull and Marciano Cobb. The fight was started with both fighters coming in and looking for a knockout. Turnbull was connecting with some powerful combinations and Cobb also landing a few shot here and there. But Turnbull’ chin looked inpentriable at that point. Turnbull continues to land shots after shots and is able to weave out of the impact of Cobb’s counter punches. Great footwork is shown here by Turnbull as he rarely is struck by a punch. The first round ends and it was defiantly close but the judges most likely gave it too Turnbull. The second round there is a lump forming on Cobb’s left eye and Turnbull continues to evade most of his opponents blows. Cobb connects with a few here and there both most don’t do enough damage to his opponent. The third round is much of the same and the decision victory goes to Turnbull.

The co main event is featuring Noah Jones and Sunny Day in the Bantamweight division. Jones counters a punch and trips a takedown into his opponents guard. Day looks for a guillotine but forces it and cannot lock it in. Jones looks for ground and pounds strikes but misses with most of those attempts. Day continues to work for submissions from the bottom. Jones begins to crack with some strike from ground and pound. Day continues to work for a submission from the ground with chokes. Day looks for a sweep but it’s not executed. Jones makes it into side control and lands with some ground and pound. Day manages a escape and is off the ground. Jones gets a takedown and defends a guillotine attempt easily. That was a close round but I would say that Noah Jones will probably get the nod. The second round starts and Jones hoots a successful takedown early in the round. Day continues to go for submissions but cannot linch them in and for his efforts gets some brutal ground and pound from Jones. The second round was dominated by Jones. Jones wins the third round with his ground and pound/ submission defense. The unanimous decision victory goes to Jones.

The main event is between Wolfhelm Toten and Yoshi Takano in the Heavyweight division. Toten is on the receiving of some blows from Takano early in the round. Toten quickly moves in close and secures a clinch. In the clinch both fighters land strikes but Toten seems to be landing more since he is being more aggressive. Takano lands some good knees using his Muay Thai skill before the clinch is broken up. Toten is seen landing some strikes from standup as he was training with his boxing coach before the fight. Toten secures another clinch with both fighters connecting and doing some damage. A close round but Yoshi Takano will probably get the nod. The second round is much of the same but often has knocked Takano down with a huge combo! Toten steps away and waves a wobbly Takano back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! But during this round Toten uses the clinch to control the pace of the fight and lands more strikes within the clinch. Also the nice combo which hurt Takano. The third round both fighters come out looking like bats out of hell. They look to be banging instead of going to the ground for this round. Toten drops Takano with a beautiful combination! Takano stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Toten is looking for the KO! Takano manages to escape barely from getting koed and we go to the judges. Your winner, by unanimous decision... Wolfhelm Toten!

The opening fight is between Hans "The Hammer" Hammar and Thomas Krakow in the Lightweight division. Hans is coming into this fight with a win over Leonard Owusu with a knockout in his debut in this organization. On paper Hans has the better stats in Boxing, Muay Thai and in wrestling. Thomas is the superior in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Hans has never left the first round and either knocks out someone or gets knocked out quickly in the first round. He is looking for a knockout here for sure. Thomas is the underdog 100% on this one as he is in a sixth fight losing streak. He needs this fight so he is coming out for the win. I would give this one to Hans via KO in the first round.

The second fight is between Sergeant "The Soldier" Dignam and Leon "SugarMan" Cotton in the Middleweight division. Both of the fighters are coming from the United States and Sergeant is a obvious favorite as he strung together a 4-0 record, but has never fought in a org before. there is a huge difference and some fighters cannot handle the pressure. Sergeant prefers the clinch and finishes the fight there. Leon is the opposite and needs to look to take this fight to the ground as soon as he can.

The third fight is between James Hetfield and Li "Jet Li" Lianjie in the Flyweight division. James the Irish native is coming into this bout with better Muay Thai, wrestling and in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu then his opponent. So on paper he should win this. But MMA math isn’t always right so anything can and will happen. James is a clinch fighter and prefers to keep his fights there and then go for the knockout through his Muay Thai. Li is on a two fight win streak and has a tough opponent versus James. If he is able to stay away from his opponents clinch and allow the fight to reach the later rounds he may cause himself to come out victorious.

The fourth fight is between Wasyl "Pluto" Plutov and JD "The King" Dayley in the featherweight division. Wasyl comes in with a four fight win streak and is on a role at the moment. A very well rounded fighter and he has proven too be deadly on the ground, on the feet and whenever he steps into the cage. He also has proven to have a gas tank so if it goes into the later rounds he will be fine. His opponent JD is more comfortable off his feet and needs to take Wasyl down as soon as he can. He has proved that in his last fight with Wasyl which he won.

The fifth fight is between Tumleh "Boot" Schmitt and Devin "The Conqueror" Watkins in the Welterweight division. Both gf these fighters prefer to try to go for the submission so it will be a grappler versus grappler fight. Also both fighters are coming in with a loss in there last fight. But Tumieh does have the advantage in both Muay Thai and wrestling. Ia actually think this fight will got for either a decision victory or ends in the second round due to submission.

The sixth fight is between Gabriel "Bury" Skrarski and Steve "The Demon" King in the Super Heavyweight division. Gabriel comes in with a three fight losing streak and Steve comes in with a loss as well. Steve mostly lost most of the time due to Ko or TKO and that is the bread/butter of Gabriel. it also seems Steve is proven to have a weaker chin and he needs to take the fight to the ground immediately. Or Steve can put the fight into the clinch and keep it there as he controls his opponent.

The seventh fight is between Alexei Mikhailov and Nivolumab "PD1" Opdivo in the Welterweight division. Both of these fighters are coming from losses in there last fights and Alexei is coming from a two fight losing streak. This is a classic fight between a boxer and a ground based fighter. So it depends on where this fight comes too if on or off the ground. I see this fight being close throughout and it may even got to decision.

The eighth fight is between Hans Byyler and Jay "The Hawaiian" Uzo in the Light Heavyweight division. On paper Hans has better skills then Jay and definitely puts him as a favorite in this fight but only by slight margins. He might be in a two fight losing streak but overall he looks like a more well rounded fighter. But he has been prone to losing to TKO which is his opponents bread and butter. This fight is like World War 2 Germany vs the United States. I gotta go with my American native on this one. I say he wins by KO in the second round.

The co main event is between Demetrius Tektas and "CM Punk" Phill Brooks in the Lightweight division. Demetrius comes in with only one loss on his record and definitely has the potential to go for the title once again in the future. Demetrius has the skill to either knock someone out or take him to the ground and submit him. Why do you think he became champion? He is skilled. This is definitely a challenge for the up comer since his opponent is on a large winning streak. Both gf these guys are no slackers and are dangerous in the cage. But if Demetrius losses this fight I am guessing his opponent will get his shot for the title. The favorite in this fight is Demetrius on paper. But I say he wins it via submission in the second round.

The main event is for the Light Heavyweight title between "The Professor" Harry Distacio Jr and Ubungu "The African Body Snatcher" Mumba. Both of theses fighters are young bucks at the ages of twenty and twenty two. Harry currently has two successful title defenses under his belt. The fighters both have close to the same skills so this could be a close one. Ubungu is on a three fight winning streak which gave him the opportunity at the belt. He also comes in as a former champion so he won’t fall under pressure in this fight. I cannot say who will win this fight but i am guessing this either goes for a decision or ends up a third round TKO by Harry.

This event was put together by Osinho Garcia (116999) in Helsinki at the Hayashi's Lounge - Helsinki (2,000).

The event starts off with a KO Punch by Hans Hammar in the opening fight. The card started with a statement and left us ready for the rest of the card.

The second night featured a submission victory by Leon Cotton. A dominant performance by Cotton even after he got rocked early in the first round. Then another knockdown and a cut forming from it. Cotton managed to work a submission from the bottom and pulled out a win! Crazy! Leon Cotton also gets a bonus for submission of the night!

The third fight went down as I predicted because when James gets you in his clinch and your not prepared for it, you can easily find yourself being lifted off the mat. Some great use of dirty boxing gets this pretty TKO victory.

The fourth fight went all three rounds in close fashion and ended in spectacular fashion with big knees. The ref is forced to jump in and end the fight.

The fifth fight ended early in the first round due to TKO by strikes by Tumleh Schmitt. It was a dominating performance by Tumieh! The knockout of the fight went too Nivolumab "PD1" Opdivo with a knockout in the second round.

But what everyone is looking forward too was for the Light Heavyweight tile between Ubungu "The African Body Snatcher" Mumba and "The Professor" Harry Distacio Jr. The fight as I predicted was close and went all five rounds for a decision. The judges scored the bout as said below. I am guessing there is going to be a rematch in the near future between these two monsters.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.

Judge Anni Minnemäki scores the fight 46:49

Judge Tarja Halkonen scores the fight 46:49

Judge Marco Blurström scores the fight 46:49

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Ubungu Mumba!

What a great event of action which showed a lot of early stoppages and a entertaining main event that went the distance. The fans have to have enjoyed there time watching this event.
