What is the Noob Fund?
The BOOM Fund was a fund to help newer managers with funds to get started in MMA Tycoon on a good foot. Unfortunately, the BOOM Fund has become inactive. This is essentially a replacement to fill the need the BOOM Fund once filled. I would have simply taken over the BOOM fund, but without access to the funds and the inability to edit threads started by other managers I figured it was better for a fresh start even if it is not a fresh idea. Much will be similar to the BOOM Fund as it was a great system for helping new managers and run by a great manager in Ezekel Rage.

How can a manager get some funds?

Post in this thread the reason you are seeking funds. The longer the post the better. The amount you will be granted depends on a few variables, and this is only for new managers in need. If you need the funds for a business then be as detailed in your business plan as possible.

I'm a veteran manager, how can I help?

First and foremost you can donate, but there are also other ways you can help.

  1. Volunteer to be a business mentor. Some new managers may have decided to support the game early purchasing VIP. Businesses can be a great way to earn or lose money. Having a pool of veteran managers available to offer business guidance would be of great worth. When needed one of the volunteers can be assigned to a new business.
  2. I personally have a partnership with a clothing store which hosts my skins. They keep 100% of the profit from my sales and I get a reliable place to host designs I have already sold. It is extremely convenient for my customers when before I was forced to send them a file and tell them they were on their own. Other managers have gym partnerships where they pay the cost of coaches and the newer manager gets to use a couple coaches for free for elite 1v1 training. There are many types of mutually beneficial partnerships. If you would like a similar partner post here and new managers who may be interested may contact us to set it up. The difference between this and a mentor is they are providing a service for you and you are expected to compensate them for this service. As a mentor you are only providing advice.
  3. Donate money.
  4. Donate VIP. The BOOM Fund offered drawings each month for VIP to newer managers. At this time we do not have VIP to offer, but if managers volunteer to buy it I can re-instate the monthly drawings.
  5. Pledge to sponsor fighters with much needed clothes, supplements, and money. An emphasis on clothes and supplements, since we are already offering money.

All donors and the amount donated will be listed in this posting. I am seeking skilled artists to make icons managers can use in their sigs like with the Boom Fund. It is not one of my strong points, so I would really appreciate someone who is better at logos coming up with something good. Template form would be great so I can change the name/donation amount without having to bother you each time a new one is needed unless you are cool with being asked to keep them up to date.

Current Donations (Cash right now): $2,978,000
Current number of Scholarships Awarded: 8
Total Dollar Value of Scholarships Awarded: $172,000
Total Lifetime Donations Recieved: $3,150,000
Side Note: If you receive a total of 50k from the fund and/or VIP, you are no longer eligible to receive it again in the future.

I am covering outbound transfer fees, so that they do not come out of the fund.

So, if I was advised to post in the BOOM fund thread, than I should instead be posting here?
I was told that there were managers who wanted to give new managers a helping hand on their way into the MMA Tycoon world.

I'm not asking to have the world handed to me, but all the help I am given will not go unappreciated. My fighters will have the best training and supplements they can afford, so that when they show up in your organizations to fight, you'll get your moneys worth!

If there are requirements to be a participant etc. I'd be more than happy to try to fulfill them, or provide the proper information etc.

Just send me a PM with any details.

Yes, you would post here instead. I just need to know your reasoning such as a business startup or new fighter training, ect... It looks like training and supps would be your reasoning? I sent $25k.

Ya, I've got room on my roster for 2 more fighters, but if I plan to put them in top tier gyms and give them the best supplements I'll need a little more capital. A sponsor that reached out to me linked me to the BOOM thread and I left a message there, but I saw this pop up instead so here I am :)

Available funds:

$12,182,625.00

Mike should transfer the old fund, not only rich guys donated to Boom Fund, some really madea a sacrifice, but anyways, everyone of the donator should know that his money is/was good for something.

I think Ezekel himself could do that, he logs in every once a while so he could move the money to Eveas.

That would be nice. I contacted him a long time ago to let him know I could take over the fund in his absence, and he said yes. But then I sent a mail asking him to transfer the funds and haven't heard a word back. He doesn't log in often or long, so I wasn't sure what else to do.

How do I go about entering for the fund and the VIPdraw, would possibly like mentorship but I know how to go about that

Just post here the reason you need the fund and you will be allocated money based on your need. No one has donated VIP yet, so I can't give any out. I just posted this last night, so we will see if anyone volunteers for the business mentoring and other options.

Hello!

I am a new manager looking forward to a long career here. I just signed my first fighters last night, and while they have some QFC fights scheduled, I'd like to be able to prepare them for a bright future. Apparently fighters take quite an investment to turn into something special, and my accountant informs me that I need to eat ramen noodles for a few months and drive my '91 Ford Taurus until it falls apart. Not that I'd be using any scholarship funds for personal expenses, but my fighters certainly shouldn't have to make sacrifices keeping them from their full potential due to my student loans.

I have no doubt I can turn things around and be successful with everything I have to work with, though a scholarship would serve to accelerate the process and increase the quality of talent found in the world of MMA sports. Thank you for your time and consideration, and I'll be sure to make myself available for any questions, concerns, or advice.

I sent out a payment to your 4 main fighters. I cannot send any money to the Island unfortunately.
