Its a Boxing/MMA fighting card, Roy Jones Jr. Made it up in the hopes of attracting MMA fans to boxing and boxing Fans to MMA. While I doubt they will have any success with that, the MMA card is decent for just a single card, American Top Teams Jeff Monson is going to fight Roy Nelson, We finally get to see what Bobby Lashley can do in a octagon and of course we get to guage our eyes out at the dude boobs that are Jason Guida's. If I can find a feed or something I may waste a few hours on this tonight, but no way would I waste a cent on this PPV, I do look forward to seeing Monson again though. MMATycoon
Of all the MMA fights they could have picked to try and get MMA fans over, I can't think of many more unappealing fights, which involve genuinely quality fighters. I just can't get excited about any Jeff Monson fight.
Guest
I used to think Monson had such potential, but I think it all went up in smoke.
Guest
Same here, I think a lot of people are guilty of giving the guy a lot more credit then he deserved, still, its fun to watch him fight for me, I love a good submission artist. Guest
The Lashley fight was terrible. I haven't seen it, but by the sound of the comments by Sherdog, it wasn't all that exciting. At least not as big of a splash that Lesnar made in his 2nd fight albeit a loss.
Nitrus
I was impressed that Guida survived that much, he almost got a submission !
SoothSlayer
The ref was very uninvolved in the fight. They spent to minutes tied up in the corner just jockeying for position.
Guest
Yeah I doubt I'm gonna waste time watching fifteen minutes of a lay and pray UD by a Roided up WWE fighter, the Monson fight I may watch though.
SoothSlayer
That fight is not much better, and the outcome should upset you. Think Bisping v Hamil.
MMATycoon
One thing I was surprised by was that the crowd didn't really boo that much. They booed when the fights sucked but not as much as a UFC crowd would have and certainly not as much as WEC crowds would have (WEC I think has the worst fans that I've ever seen for booing). Nitrus
I wish all fans to be like Japanese fans.. Man, thats what I call prior class. If the fight is completely boring, they still screaming and cheering.
