Slade Wilson: "Wow...I really wanted a win in that fight today out there with Zell! I knew it was going to be a tough match for both of us, and one of us would just need a break not to have it go back and forth and to the judges. He was dishing it out...and I was taking it. He's got a good punch, and those kicks, yeah, not gonna pretend they don't sting. But I kept coming, and kept taking him down...was right there. Just needed to work that sweet magic for the sub but wow, he has some good defense on the ground and ability to just wiggle enough to control things. It was a close match...really coulda gone either way...the judges gave it to him in the third round, but honestly, I got some good shots in there too and took him down so really, I think that mighta been my round. But they didn't call it like that, and that was the difference. Kudos to Zell on the win. Next time baby!"

I legitimately appreciate that Ajax has gotten my ancient gatekeeper 8 fights in under 4 months. There are plenty of owners who wouldn't even try to book a fighter on 7 days notice, let alone for every fight possible. Thanks, Jordan.

Thank you sir. Means a lot that people enjoy the work put in. I try and keep an eye on timelines and requests as much as possible, some people like a fight every week, some every 3 weeks, 30 days etc. Not sure I can make a habit of the every week thing there but it’s nice to know on my end that there are people who will answer the call if needed.

Not sure why my sastifaction has dropped a bit recently either...

Hopefully it can continue to bring in better and better talent and become a strong competitior in the org market.

A 282 rating and 5200 attendance has made this weekends AFC #33 one of the most successful events in our history.

It also produced our first two time champ in history. Congrats to Kassius Halo in regaining the 205 pound title via 2nd round triangle submission. At age 40 he is very clearly in the twilight of his career but is showing he still has the fire and skill to compete and win. Will he continue his reign or go kicking and screaming into the good night?

His first defence is booked vs Pierre Joseph Proudhon on February 9th.

Among the biggest news today is Ajax is becoming a consistent top 10 Org contender in MMATycoon. Ranked 9th at time of this writing, this weekends events can be considered a major success, producing both a new Featherweight Champion and another Heavyweight title defense for the 265 champ. Who will be next to challenge one of the most fan friendly fighters in the sport in the dominant Phil Hellmuth Jr?

Rumours are circulating that legendary former #1 Kajun "The Pinoy Savage" Puno is currently negotiating terms for a proposed Superfight Heavyweight clash. More on this story as it develops.

Next weekend continues the trend of high quality fight action as both the 155 and 185 pound titles are defended and new signing and former 205 pound Cardinals champion Enzo Perez sees his first Ajax action.

Keep it tuned here for all the latest Ajax news and rumours!

And Puno got caught...

got caught taking a nap at LAX and auto-flown to Hilo and got caught by a fighter on super juice wearing +15% damage gloves. the athletic commision should look into that.

despite getting his kidneys massaged for the better part of an entire round, he didn't get rocked. didn't get knocked down. the doc should be ashamed of himself imo.

Respect to Chris for helping us out, respect to Hellmuth and Drago for taking the win and respect to everyone for allowing the Ajax Era to begin its farewell stronger than I could have ever hoped, a 400 rating.

If Puno is that mad at the doctor, we can go to another location and he can stick around a while? :)

Same guy making the fights, new name!
