XxxtremeT13
Multi part question: So, after setting your own fighter sliders you can also predict what your opponents sliders might be....Is it worth attempting to do this? What advantages would you gain if you can guess sliders correctly or close to it? What would disadvantages be? Also, if you don't attempt to adjust them at all, will there be any negative affect on the fight?
mmagladiators
Just leave it alone.
Warwynd
I would mirror what MMA Gladiators just said, and add this: The predictive thing is potentially very good if you have a very good idea of what the opponent will do. The downside being that if you are wrong or he changes up on you then you will likely do terribly. Your fighter will be looking for things the opponent isn't doing and will thus fail horribly at countering his moves. If you use a lot of SHIG (something else I advise you not to use) then you might be able to use the adapt to fight checkbox to help out a bit, but, again... unless you know how smart your fighter is, it's pretty useless, because he could make bad decisions
TJMitchell
I seem to be the opposite of most on here and say it's a necessity for me. I haven't been setting them lately and am on the worst losing streak i've ever been on by far. I will however keep testing this and not set them for this weekend either lol. (the losing streak did seem to really take take off once i made that thread about possibly leaving though...hmmm...Mike?)
Monsieur.Camara
I set them. Â I understand that if I don't touch them it calculates the last 20 fights but honestly letting the machine think for you kinda defeats the point of the game. Studying an opponent is a big part of the game imo.
JakeF
Don't use it. Small help when correct predictions, huge disadvantage when bad predictions. Scout your opponent so you could set your offensive sliders, setting up a prediction is just waste of time.
actionjackson
Since you're a noob (like me) don't set them as there are more important things to worry about at this point. Concentrate on your fighters sliders.
BigLarry
I don't touch them unless I am facing someone very predictable, your fighter's sliders are more reliable.
