markyosullivan
http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13762188447833.jpg "Lucky" Liam O'Connor 26 years old 185lbs 8-1 "I haven't heard anything about a potential fight so far from Justin James. I told him that I wanted some time off and he respects my decision. There's been a lot of names thrown in there with regards to who I'm going to fight next - rematch with The Castaway, rematch with Pat Goatboy, Zander Pochinski. If Zander Pochinski really wants to fight me, he's going to have to wait because like I said in my post-fight interview, I want some time off so I can train. If he takes another fight while waiting for me to come back, that will really boost his chances of getting a title shot in the near future in my opinion." markyosullivan
http://mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/137148887512.jpg Liam O'Connor Signs New Deal Liam O'Connor has just renewed his VIP Fight! contract, the former Middleweight champion has signed a new, improved deal which will see him fight 3 more times for The Island organisation. The 26 year old will be looking to win back his title in the near future and has said he's taking time off fighting to focus on his training before he steps into the cage again. Without a doubt there'll be a lot of fighters hoping they could get a fight with the former champion so they can boost their chances of getting a title shot. Fight Middleweight Champion, so I do think I deserve my place at this tournament. If I'm honest I wasn't expecting this invitation at all, I didn't think it was going to be this soon. I heard rumours about it a couple of weeks ago and thought "Yeah that'd be cool" but thought I had plenty of time to train for it. Turns out I'll be fighting this Saturday coming in the Quarter finals of this tournament. The timing hasn't been that great, I've been recovering from my last fight and only started back in the gym today so I wont have long to prepare for this next fight. Perhaps my first fight will be against The Castaway, if it is, so be it. If not, perhaps we'll eventually fight each other again in either the Semi finals or Finals of this tournament." Guest
Castaway is in there because he ducked "Randy" Pan, and you deserved to be there because otherwise Pan would get no joy from defeating nobodies.
markyosullivan
It's a shame Pan Goatboy didn't get to face The Castaway as that's a fight that I'd be really interested in watching

Guest
Does that mean Castaway can defend his belt to Pan Goatboy when he gets knocked out? And if he wins, does that mean once Pan takes his belt from him that Pan is actually the best fighter in VIP?
markyosullivan
I think Mike did mention something about a finale to The Island but I'm not 100% sure, so if The Castaway does get knocked out early, there could be time for Pan Goatboy to get a fight with him.
Guest
Oh, Pan will get to fight him. Assuming someone else doesn't knock him out of the end of season tournament first. Goatboy just want to fight him for the belt before he defeats him for a second time in the master's tour.
markyosullivan
http://mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/137148887512.jpg Tournament of Champions Quarter Finals: Abaddon vs O'Connor It could be argued that the Co-Main event of VIP 39: Champion Quarterfinals is one of the fights people are looking forward to the most out of all the other quarter finals. Many believe the winner of this fight will go on to win the tournament and I think I agree with them on that one. Beelzebub "Lord Of The Pit" Abaddon (9-0) is one of the favourites to win the tournament. The 26 year old MMA fighter from Azerbaijan has been one of the most successful fighters on The Island and has won titles in not just one division but 2. Since his pro debut fight, which was a QFC fight against Rcrs Sarabjit (3-4) he has went on to win every fight by TKO / KO. He's clearly one of the most explosive fighters on The Island and also regarded as one of the best strikers on The Island. He's a bit of a journeyman as he started off in the QFC circuit, then made his way to Palmleaf Brawlers before signing for VIP Fights! Perhaps the biggest win he has had is against Diego "The Indian" Rodriguez (8-2) who he beat to win the VIP Fights! title and also defended his title against. "Lucky" Liam O'Connor (8-1) is probably one of the underdogs going into this tournament, he's coming off a loss and people say that he's lucky he managed to get an invite to the tournament but in my eyes he's the dark horse and could end up surprising a lot of people. He's got great submission skills winning 7 out of his 8 wins by submission but I think quite a few people forget that he does have the stand up skills to secure a TKO / KO win as he did his first title defence by TKO. He's the most successful VIP Fight! Middleweight champion having defended the title 5 times since he won it. The only other VIP Fight! fighter who has defended his title more times is The Island King (9-0) who has defended his title 6 times. I can't see this fight going the distance, I'm pretty sure we're going to see a finish. It's going to be really interesting to see who wins this one, will Liam O'Connor be the first person to defeat Beelzebub? Or will Beelzebub add another loss to Liam's record? Find out this Sunday at VIP 39! http://i.imgur.com/Nik9Neq.png

Now that I'm fresh as a daisy Ill be back training Monday for my next victim. O connor is going to be beated by beezlebub. beez got the clinch skills to stop occonnor TD and Id bet goatboys ass that the beez beats the shit outta occonnor.Id also like to say fuck you to goatboy and congrats on the win. Maybe one day you'll get your chance to get KTFO. Chances are you'll be fighting occonnor for #2 MW on the island after he gets his shit pushed in.I'm looking forward fo fighting beez or crusoe if they win there next fights." markyosullivan
http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13762188447833.jpg "Lucky" Liam O'Connor 26 years old 185lbs 8-1 "Yeah, I know I'm the underdog going into this fight and in a way I like that feeling of being the underdog, there's no pressure on me, I've got nothing to lose and everything to gain. Beelzebub is undefeated and I think I can be the first fighter to beat him. He's not really faced a really good all rounder. Like Diego Rodriguez, yeah he's a good fighter but he's only a ground fighter, he doesn't offer much when the fight stays standing. I like seeing my opponent tap out, it's a great feeling but I'm also happy to stand and bang. Many people think that I'm purely a submission fighter when they look at my record, but I do have a TKO / KO win on my list of wins and I'm confident I could add another one to that list. I'm looking forward to this fight and hopefully I'll be the one with my hand raised at the end of the fight."

I heard Lucky was gonna hang himself with an underage thai girls panties but goatboy ate them first. Plus I said from the beginning guys who lose to me always lose again. All undefeated fighters I've faced have lost. Moyo and Oconnor were supposed to be awesome but I finished both. Now they're careers are shit. I plan on doing to same to the beez though I seriously doubt hell keep his word and stand and bang. Looks like he's fighting crusoe next though and I'm stuck with Charlie Chance (Who the fuck is he?). Good luck beez and be careful these BS 1 round matches are for the grappers to win... too bad most have been knocked out.My prediction (2-0) is that beez beats crusoe at 4:55 of the round. Then I beat him in the finale. Now can we please get goatboy occonnor 2 on the finale card"
