Steel
Criterium du dauphine, seeing Pete kennaugh win stage one was great, when he isn't with team sky I see him quite a lot on the roads round here. Hopefully Froome is fit and can show some form to challenge Contador at the TDF. Also be good to see if Nibali is the real deal again. bazzypants
Don't forget about my boy Nairo Quintana! The only race I watch is the TDF so I'm very much a part-time fan
bjornmma1
I don't think Contador will be good enough to win. Nibali and Froome will be very tough challengers for him . Quintana as well, but his TT is too bad to be a top favorite I think.
Steel
Less tt this year in tdf which is why froome wasn't happy when the route was announced as it the route favoured pure climbers more so, so Nairo is legit as a threat. Depends on froome being fit, this week will be a good indicator. Nibali was very strong last year and Contador was strong in the Giro and will be up for it as I don't think he will be around for much longer. Steel
I just hope they are all at their best so that mountain stages will be a war. I love the Sky train and froome attacking and attacking. The flat stages hold no interest for me, it's a social safety ride for the GC boys. bjornmma1
I think NIbali might be hard to beat in TDF this year . He can climb , is fresher and can do TT as well. I'm curious. I hope some young new talents will show their potential as well.
Steel
Last year with froome and Contador out early there was no one who could climb really good, so hopefully with Quintana Froome Contador we will see if Nibali is that good. Today Astana looked good as a team and Sky were carrying Roach in the TTT but Froome looked very strong and took extra long turns on the front. Thursday's stage is when it starts to get interesting. Steel
Bought a Specialized Epic World Cup 29 HT. Downgraded maybe from a Giant Anthem Advanced 27.5 2 but I want the speed combo for a 50 mile event I do that has 15 miles road at the start and FS isn't competitive when you're trying to keep up with 29er HTs.
