Q: Welcome to the show Benson, so you're going into this fight against Orlando Diggs which is undoubtedly the most high profile fight in your career. Do you feel any pressure going into this fight?

A: Wah Gwaan, There's no pressure here man, I'm relaxed and living in the moment. The only ting bothering me is that I missed rasclart Christmas dinner cutting weight. Someone gonna pay for dat and its gonna be this battybwoi Orlando.

Q: As the first fighter to come up from DARE to Syn there must have been a lot of pressure with not only fighting with a high profile org but also defending your title in DARE as well. How did you manage to not only keep on winning but knock out all of your opponents in the process?

A: I just wanted to hold both belts at the same time, beating the shit outta any man that try come for the crown. Had a couple setbacks but now is my time and I'm ready to reign once again.

Q: Speaking of DARE you're a hall of famer for that org and have been their most dominant Welterweight champion. How would you describe your experience in DARE?

A: I had a great time in DARE from start to finish and I got John Daugherty to thank for that - the man knows what he is doing. I made and broke many records in DARE and still got the most knockouts in company history. God had other plans for me though, and I'm now here full-time.

Q: Now despite the dominant run with Dare as their champion for so long one guy who you can't really seem to beat is Masa Sanada. Do you hope to get another crack at him at some point down the line?

A: Sanada is a badman, I can't lie. He's got dynamite in him hands and the heart of a lion. We are gonna meet again I am sure, but the next fight will see his head fly far up into the nosebleeds. There is no doubt that I will win.

Q: Now my final question win or lose: what's next for Benson Whyte?

A: I have scores to settle, losses to avenge. We will see. I am not looking past the man in front of me, as he is the #1 ranked in the world for a reason. Two kings are about to clash, a so di ting set.

Q: Thanks you for your time Benson and good-luck on Saturday!

A: No worries, be easy brudda. Thank you.

Thanks for Reading and make sure you tune into Syn 611: Slice vs St-Georges co-mained by Orlando Diggs vs Benson Whyte!

Welcome to the second installment of Synchronicity Interviews! Where we interview our fighters to give people something to read!

Q: Thank you for joining us here Nixon I know you're currently in training for a title defense against Joey Kocur main eventing Syn 612 in the process. How are you going to prepare for a fight like that?
A: ARROOOO! This is David Frost all over again! You media people are always out to ambush me! Let me tell you hippy boy, Nixon is the one who asks the questions this time.
Q: You recently closed a trilogy with Syn Middleweight Champion Russel Tyrone Jones, which saw you emerge victorious. Do you feel that this series - which is largely regarded as one of the best trilogies of all time - is a huge boost to your confidence and career?
A: Evil Milhouse Nixon doesn't need a confidence boost but I did thoroughly enjoy defeating that dirty communist Russell Tyrone Jones. He's as cowardly as those north Vietnamese and l rained down bombs on him just like I did Cambodia.
Q: This is your 4th time as the Synchronicity Light Heavyweight champion, how do you think this reign will be different than all the previous ones?
A: It's all politics this fighting game and if anyone knows politics it's this guy. Like all good politicians I'm a schemer, a scammer, a scoundrel of a man! Those skills seamlessly transfer over to the fight game so I envisage a long and tyrannical reign at the top once again.
Q: So we know you fought Tsoko Chikatchawan a total of three times and won all three bouts. It seems like Tsoko really despises you but what are your feelings towards him?
A: I love the man. If, and inevitably when, I run for presidency again I'd be honoured if he'd be my running mate. If Spiro Agnew is unavailable that is. If Spiro is available then Tsoko could always be the Kevin Costner to my Whitney Houston. It's a bodyguard reference you doped up youngsters, keep up.
Q: Now my final question is: What's next for Evil Nixon? Is there a specific fight you'd like to have in the future?
A: The presidency then world domination! Oh you mean fighting don't you? Disregard that last bit. A superfight with that flag burning traitor Matt Cooke could be an option. You know he's married to a Mexican. And he's a socialist. If not him then the next human rights protester or women's lib nancy boy that can pluck up the courage to get in the cage will do.
Q: Thanks for taking time out of your busy career to answer these questions Nixon.
A: Incidentally for my next fight I'll be staying at the Watergate hotel, they offer great return customer rates.
