Out of all the upsets this year at the Olympics, I dont think anyone even gave Snape a second look Even I didn't and I'm supposed to be his manager. Actually, I just logged in, and not only found out that Snape won, but also just found out that there's an actual prize for winning this. Freaking awesome! Thank you everyone for the support (especially Troid and Grant) After an awesome New Year, I couldn't have pictured this ending any better than it turned out! He was in a shark tank of a division, 265+ has been kinda weak since Rinky Spider refused to take part. I don't smack talk often, but was sort of giving Gwad some shit (I hope he knew I was joking) but was also part of my plan to maybe make him do something different then play his normal game. However, I really underestimated his chin and heart, I got him rocked but couldn't finish him. He actually probably won that round I rocked him on and the energy deal is still funky IMO. I'm pretty sure (without knowing his damage I'm guessing), the 2nd round I lost cause he was lower on energy and I couldn't counter as much and he actually started getting more counters and won that round. I also assume since it was fairly hard for me to get the clinch his physicals are still very good where colon's is falling I realistically had it 3-2 for colon, nowhere near the shut out the score card said. With that being said, not sure how much more colon has in him. I expect a fair amount of depopping after this fight with the extra 16 day of injuries added onto his already high injury days. Todd at 27 should still have a long career ahead of him and expect too see him likely get to #P4P at some point. I was thinking the clinch was probably gonna be your biggest strength so I was training a lot before the fight and predicted against it in the sliders. It worked pretty well but even still I don't know if you didn't get the clinch in round 1 when you still had the energy and everything the fight might have ended up different (I thought I was probably winning that round prior to the clinch). In the end the better fighter won though, no doubt. On the org side of things, this is how it is shaping: 1st - MFN with 16/17 points 2nd - Troid EP with 13 points 3rd - EVO with 12 points 4th - CEC with 10/11 points 5th - TTFC with 8/9 points 6th* - Syn with 8 points 6th* - Insanity with 8 points 8th - UPG with 3/4 points * - Based on results of TTFC and MFN in the 135lbs finals Congrats to MFN on the win for this tournament.
