This is a call to all of the outsiders, the delinquents, the gangsters and the otherwise baddest bastards in the MMA world. Come and make your voices heard at the newest promotion in the world of unrestricted combat, TOKYO REBELS.

After authorities forced Rei to close Budokai Fighting Federation due to allegations of money laundering, bribery, racketeering and blackmail - he decided to turn around and get right back into the game. Now sporting sunglasses at all times (yes, even in-doors), Rei has returned and is ready to build another great promotion.

Balder Bull: This sounds great, makes me miss the good old days at BFF. A lot of shit happened, but I don't regret a thing. Oh, and I'm sure the fights will be good too. Got ringside tickets for that first event, bringing my gloves just in case..

I'll keep an eye out, chief ;)

Tell me lads, when have you EVER seen a brand new promotion, starting from the ground-up, kick off their first event with TWO title fights of ridiculous proportions? Be honest, I know you haven't.

In the co-main event of TOKYO REBELS 1, we have the former MLC, Syfi, RISE and EFC Champion Ibrahim Camara taking on EFC Openweight tournament contender and AEW Champion Ananada Bunyasarn to decide the TOKYO REBELS innaugural Middleweight Champion. In the Main Event we will witness Super-Heavyweight superstar and multi promotional legend, Orpheus Boagrius take on the long-time DUEL veteran and highly popular Nicolas Muller for the right to claim gold.

The rest of the card will feature former champions from all over the tycoon world as well as up-and-comers and veterans alike. Be sure to keep an eye out as the weeks go by, as I plan on kicking this event off with a bang!

Also I'm back from my long weekend holiday and ready to continue scouting and assuming responsibilities. If any of you are needing anything regarding fight offers, contracts or any other questions/queries please don't feel shy to reach out and I'll do the best I can to sort it. Cheers.

First event booked, will start sending out fight offers momentarily. Not sure if I'll run title fights right off the bat or let the divisions shape up a bit first - we'll see.

edit: Yeah, I'll run instant title fights if I deem the fighters worthy.

I ARE WORTHY !

Welcome everyone to the Shinjuku Indoor Arena, where TOKYO REBELS will make our promotional debut later this week with TR1: BOAGRIUS VS. MULLER. Our innaugural event will be headlined by no other than Super-Heavyweight GOAT and multi-promotional Champion Orpheus Boagrius as he aims to become king once again, with a win over long-time veteran of the sport Nicolas Muller. In the Co-Main event, the notorious Ibrahim Camara looks to add another belt to his ever-growing collection, as he takes on the former AEW Champion Ananada Bunyasarn. Before that though we come at you with an exciting press conference, featuring some of the greatest fighters in the world of mixed martial arts including three of TR1's four headliners.

We will now host a brief Q & A

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15130033921085.gif

Q. This one is for Bunyasarn. You have traveled across the world and have fought in a number of different promotions. What made you choose to sign with TOKYO REBELS, and how excited are you to make your debut - in a title fight no less?

A: Man, I cannot wait to make my debut for Tokyo Rebels. I was so excited the day I got the call from my manager telling me we had a contract on the table. The owner, Rei, is such a down to earth dude, it's just a place you want to fight and to be able to fight for the title is an honour.

Q. You are the betting underdog in this Championship bout, so how do you plan on getting past Ibrahim Camara? Do you have a grand plan or is it business as usual for Ananada Bunyasarn?

A: The guy's a 4 time champ in 3 weight classes for a reason. He may be dishonest as fuck but he can fight and deserves to be favourite. As for my plan...I'm not really sure. I've just moved to a new camp and we're working on a few things so we'll see what happens come fight day. What I can tell you though is it will be the fight of the night, I guarantee that.

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/15085530571140.png

Q: This one's for Camara. You have seen success in a number of promotions throughout your career, and have amassed quite an impressive trophy cabinet. Are you confident you will be adding another belt to you collection?

A: Yes 100% I refuse to lose to MULTI Alex K ! Our Camp is strong , we will dominate every round and MULTI Alex K will go down on the 3rd round !

Q: Your opponent, Bunyasarn, comes from a camp that has a long storied rivalry with your own. Do you feel that you are not only representing yourself in this battle, but a bigger cause? Or is it all about Ibrahim for this one?

A: We have never lost to Camp Mitchell and we won`t lose on fight night ! We like him a lot but this is business, we are gonna keep our perfect record against TJ and give the awful Stepdads another loss on their record ! They have no chance !

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/37/37w6.jpg

Q: Now a couple for Muller. Nicolas, you are set to take on the undisputed Super-Heavyweight GOAT, Orpheus Boagrius in a bout that see's you as the betting underdog. How confident are you that you can defeat such a terrifying opponent?

A: You know, it's super heavyweight battle, God knows who wins. It's harder to predict.

See my former rival Harada for example. He has gone to sleep 19 times during his career, now he won 5 of last 6 via KO and is one win from title shot in world number 1 promotion. My career had lot of ups and downs, no doubt. I have nothing to lose, nothing more than just 1 more defeat on the record. If I win, I'll cause one of the greatest upsets in the history. If I lose, I'll join super heavyweight champions of the major promotions, likes of Kimbo Slice, Rocket Bob Frankels, Diarmuid Curry or Brad Lansar. "Big Guy" Boagrius is legend, but he isn't unbeatable. I know I'm a heavy underdog and I'm very proud Boagrius accepted a fight with me. I'm not afraid to die. I can't tell you I'll kick his head outside the ring and then you'll replay this quote combined with his KO victory. It's the best fighter and the most accomplished fighter I've ever met and I'll try to do my best and stay bloody and cool.

Q: This incredible fight is unsurprisingly headlining, so how does it feel being a part of history as one of the stars of TOKYO REBELS' first ever event?

A: Boagrius' move to TOKYO REBELS promotion is a statement. It isn't going to be new 2nd tier promotion, soon it can become another competitor to top 6, later attack top 3 perhaps, if everything goes well. We are joint by some other top stars like middleweight KO artists Bunyasarn, who could have been a GAMMA champion soon, and Camara who had been a champion of 2nd tier promotions and has bright future as well, so it's kind of mix between youth and elderly we represent with the "Big Guy"(laugh). I'm sure some future cards will deliver more of top level action. We 2 aren't grapplers so fighting in a ring, not in the cage, doesn't matter that much in our super heavyweight title-fight. See you this weekend in Tokyo and cheer for me as I'm for my mission impossible!

It was at this point that Main Eventer, and undeniable star of the show Boagrius decided to stand up and leave the conference table. Bored by the answers of his opponent - or just otherwise uninterested- he left without saying a word.

Thank you all for reading, and thank you to the fighters and managers who have helped to make this event come together. I really, really can't wait to see this one play out as we crown our first two Champions and get to reveal our epic belt.

Cheers boys.

What a wonderful event that turned out to be! We earned an event rating of 316 which meant that we catapulted to 11th place world-wide, right off the bat. What a debut!

The results were as follows:

As you can see, the winners of our main event and co-main are Orpheus Boagrius and Ananada Bunyasarn! Congratulations on becoming our innaugural Super-Heavyweight and Middleweight Champions!
