Post fight interview with Too Hot Bobby Scott

Backstage Molly Olivi is standing with a worn out Bobby Scott. Scott won the main event fight with Bjorn Olsson via unanimous decision.

Molly - Tonight you walked into the arena with a chip on your shoulder but you performed great and walked out with a huge win. How does it feel to be back in the win column?

Bobby - I don't feel like I am where I need to be. Win or no win I don't have my belt, right now that's all that matters!

Molly - You picked apart a previously unbeaten Olsson and shouted to the heavens that you wanted your belt back. Does this win get you in that title fight ?

Bobby - WCF President Nick can go several directions right now at Welterweight. Sasha has a title defense soon, Jason Bush has a lot of hype surrounding him and then there is me. Bush and I have both lost to Rua but Sasha couldn't finish me. So we'll see what happens after Sasha destroys his next opponent.

Molly - You have insinuated leading up to this fight that Sasha's next opponent was a gift from management. Care to explain?

Bobby - Shane Young is a nobody, he was brought in to make the Champ look good. He's one dimensional and once Sasha gets past the ground game its his fight to lose. They could've gave him Rammsie or Diaz both coming off wins , both already more popular and notable than Young. Instead they went out and brought in a scrub to take an L.

Molly - If you have to wait or fight again before getting a shot at the title which would you rather do? Risk it all or wait it out?

Bobby - I'm willing to do whatever is needed. The difference between me and everyone else in this division is I take losses better than anyone. I lost to Korn and came back a better, more well rounded fighter. I got my ground game on point and came back and knocked him out. I learned from losing to Sasha that I can't always count on my clinch game. I took his sixty plus shots and kept walking forward. Tonight I came in ready to box and I did. I mixed in out of the clinch and proved again that I can adapt. I took another sixty shots and kept moving forward. No matter who is next, I'll be ready.

Molly - You do continue to change your ways and improve everywhere. Your ground however hasn't been showcased as much but we've been told you have been working diligently on getting better there.

Bobby - When I lost to Korn Gracie it changed everything. I began training wrestling and bjj more often. I tried different gyms but ended up back at my old gym. I just brought in guys to train with. Now I have a red belt and two black belts that I train with five days a week. I have two TWGC finalists that I train wrestling with. I'm still young and learning, I have lots of room to grow and I enjoy it.

Molly - Okay Too Hot, that's all from me. I appreciate your time and good luck in your next outing!!

Bobby - Thank you!!! I am ready for anyone and we should have answers soon. Jason , Sasha , Keith Rodgers bitch ass. I'll be ready for whoever it is

Awww. What's wrong, puddin'? Why are you so angry? All that tough guy talk is easy to do when you ain't been in the cage with me yet. There's a 500k bounty on my head -- don't talk tough, come get me, boy. WCF will hook up your ass beating if you ask them nicely enough.

500,000 free dollars IF you can beat me.

Fight Announcement

Bobby Scott was sitting in his home in Los Angeles when the call.from his agent had came through. His weekend didn't go as planned , Scott lost his WCF title rematch versus Sasha Rua but even worse he got knocked out. He had contemplated what was next before the phone rang but after speaking to his agent it was all set… what was next was exactly what he needed to get motivated … THE TRILOGY !!!

On July 29th two former WCF Champions would go head to head for the third time. The first ended in 2:28 of the first round when Gracie submitted Scott via Kimura. The second fight ended in 1:43 of the first round when Bobby landed a knee that put Gracie on the mat and then he followed up with strikes. This time both men are different, neither is a Champion, both have lost two of their last three fights.

The rivalry is there , the animosity is there and both men still feel they have everything to prove. July 29th Scott vs Gracie III , somebody is getting finished!!!

WCF Wednesday Night Fights 9: Leahy vs Shamrock Preview and Predictions

Undercard

155lb Bout: Andrew Perez (2-1) vs Tommy Ayomy (0-0)

Opening up the night is two new arrivals to WCF. Andrew Perez is the more experienced fight coming of a 1-1 sting in SMASH while Ayomy is making his professional debut. Both guys have very similar skillsets with both wanting to grapple. Perez has the edge in BJJ owning a purple belt but Ayomy has the advantage when it comes to wrestling. I expect this to be a grappling match with both fighters being even on the feet. I expect Ayomy to score a takedown early, but Perez will threaten with submissions as both of his pro wins have come via submission.

Prediction: Andrew Perez by 1st round Sub

135lb Bout: Alessio Da Santiago (7-9) vs Wesley Carter (1-3)

The first of 3 bantamweight fights on the card features WCF vet Alessio Da Santiago. ADS has the most fights (12) of all time in WCF and he is trying break back into the win column following a TKO loss from the tough Denis Denisov. He is facing Wesley Carter who is trying to stop a 3-fight skid and earn his first win in WCF. This is a rematch from earlier this year which saw ADS win by 1st round sub. If this fight ends up hitting the canvas I expect it to go the same route.

Prediction: Alessio Da Santiago by 2nd round Sub

135lb Bout: Levi Rowan (5-0) vs Dragon Li Chai (0-0) (3-7 grappling)

An interesting bantamweight bout caps off our undercard as the featured headliner. One of the most quietly successful fighters in all of WCF, Levi Rowan, welcomes newcomer Dragon Li Chai to the organization. Rowan has amassed a 4-0 record in WCF including 2 impressive wins over Maddox Pope. Li Chai could give Rowan his toughest fight yet. While just making his MMA debut, DLC has experience against high-level grapplers in TWGC and CACC against many fighters who outsizes him. Despite Rowan’s respectable wrestling this is a pure striker vs grappler matchup thanks to DLC’s elite grappling and Rowan’s clear advantage on the feet. If Rowan can keep it standing he may very well get the first finish of his career, but I have a feeling Dragon Li Chai will be the first to have success getting Rowan to the mat. I have a feeling the underdog will pull it off.

Prediction: Dragon Li Chai by 1st round Finish (Sub or GnP)

Main Card

170lb Bout: Rammsie Hartmann (5-3) vs Alex Wright (2-0)

Opening up the main card is the return of Rammsie Hartmann. He is trying to bounce back following his submission loss to Kribbson Diaz. Hartmann gets to welcome young prospect Alex Wright to the organization. Hartmann should have the advantage on the feet and in the wrestling department, but he has to be careful of Wright’s BJJ which has led him to two submission wins. Hartmann has never went the distance so expect a finish in this one. Wright’s only real path to victory will be via submission but I expect Hartmann to keep it standing while maybe mixing in a few level changes with his dominant wrestling.

Prediction: Hartmann via 1st round KO

145lb Bout: Colton Ortiz (2-1) vs Harry Hendersons (2-2) (2-6 grappling record)

Colton Ortiz returns on Wednesday to face fellow grappler Harry Hendersons. Ortiz is now 2-1 in WCF with impressive wins over WCF veteran Justin Purcell and Benito Rummy. His only loss isn’t a bad one necessarily with it coming by the hands of current WCF Featherweight Champion Bardia Farrokhzad. Hendersons on the other hand will being making his debut but isn’t short on experience with 1-1 stints in both Madness MMA and Smash as well as an 8-fight grappling career in CACC. Both men are pure specialists who’s game plans are completely grappling oriented so it should be interesting to see how it goes. Ortiz does have a leg up with a brown belt in BJJ compared to Hendersons purple belt. Ortiz will also have a near 8-inch height advantage.

Prediction: Colton Ortiz via Decision

135lb Bout: Claus Haba (5-0-1) vs Jens Jensen (2-1)

This is a pivotal bout in the bantamweight division which could determine the next title contender. Once again we see two guys who have a grappling based game. This card is filled with great grapplers and the fight is no exception. Both these guys will be making their promotional debut. Haba is coming off a great run in RRFC going undefeated with his only blemish being a majority draw against a tough vet. Jensen on the other hand is fresh off a performance of the night win in SMASH where he went 1-1. As I’ve mentioned multiple times both guys usually want to grapple but it’ll be interesting to see if their game plans change in this bout. While both fighters are evenly matched I would give the slight edge to Haba in most areas. Both fighters always common in well below the bantamweight limit but “The Little Giant” Jensen will have a huge height advantage with over a 10.5-inch height deficit in his favor.

Prediction: Claus Haba via Decision

265lb Co-Main Event: Tylonal Jones (5-4) vs Fish Hands (8-3)

This is a Co-Main Event that should feature fireworks being one of the few bouts on the card with two guys who love to let their hands go. Jones has become a regular of the WCF heavyweight division fighting a number of the well-established names within the organization. He is riding a two-fight KO win streak against Pimpis Tramps and perennial top-contender Fedor Petrov while earning performance bonuses in both fights. Hands made his presence known in his debut knocking out Rashad Pennington after a decent 4-3 run in Madness MMA. This should be a great fight and is one of the hardest to pick on the card.

Prediction: Fish Hands by 2nd round KO

185lb Main Event: Robert Leahy (9-2) vs Tim Shamrock (2-2)

The main event once again will be a fight between two guys that are used to having the grappling advantage. This bout may very well make a contender at middleweight out of the winner. Leahy is undefeated in WCF at 2-0 and is looking to continue it. Shamrock on the is another Madness MMA vet making his WCF debut. While both are evenly matched on the ground Shamrock should have the edge on the feet if he chooses to keep it there.

Prediction: Robert Leahy via 1st round Sub

On Wednesday July 29th old rivals meet for a third time. Two former Welterweight champions will fight to see who gets the next shot at the belt but furthermore who gets revenge.

Korn Gracie and Bobby Scott both stand at 6 wins and three losses. Korn is coming off a submission victory after a two fight skid. Bobby is coming in off a loss to current champion Sasha Rua where he was knocked out for the first time in his career.

Gracie wants to build on his last win and get his belt back. He comes in with all six of his victories coming by stoppage, five of them by submission. Gracie hopes to get this fight to the ground and dominate like he did the first time they met.

Bobby Scott is 0-2 versus the current champion Rua. He would like to win this fight and then reassess his career. He realizes with Rua as Champion he may not get a third crack at the belt and is focused on beating Korn then maybe switching weight classes.

Scott earned a hard fought unanimous decision in his last win but 5 of his 6 wins come by way of knock out, including his win against Korn when he won the Championship.

WCF caught up with Scott outside of his LA gym and here is what was discussed.

WCF- You and Korn have bad blood, this fight is a big deal for WCF. Why has Korn become a rival of yours?

Bobby - Korn has had the greatest impact on my career. That first fight he gave me my first loss and I tapped out. He broke me and when that happened I had to go back and change things. I have improved my ground game ten fold. I am grappling every day, I have focused a lot of time on my defensive ground game and on my own subs. I might go snatch his arm!

WCF - In your last meeting you put him against the cage in the clinch and unloaded to knock him out and get the win. Since that win you haven't been in the clinch as much because of your last two opponents. Will we see you focus on staying on the outside again in this fight or will you go back to what worked?

Bobby - Sasha is a different beast, that's why he is the Champ. I feel when it comes to Korm I am better everywhere, I am going to dominate everywhere in this fight. I am pissed off and focused. I have to get this win and move past Korn so that I can get back to being a champion regardless of weight class.

WCF - Before we go do you have anything to say to Korn?

Bobby - I've switched gyms and I believe his one dimensional game isn't on my level. Korn I am coming to prove my worth. Unlike you no days off , no time away , no breaks. I will get ahold of you and I will break you!!

What you need to do is retire. "Boo hoo. Sasha keeps beating my ass and Keith Rodgers keeps calling me a long winded, useless relic and challenges me to fights I can't win." lol

All you do is run your mouth, run from career high paydays, and run from glory.
Keep doing what you do best, boy....

WCF 145lbs Champion Bruce White Jr

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/37/37w4.jpg

When asked about his rematch with previously defeated Bardia Farrokhzad, White Jr had this to say -

"Guess he wasn't happy with how he was knocked out last time, he thought he would walk through me in the Clinch and was caught by surprise. The fact he was given an instant rematch is strange, his career could be over if he loses"

@Bruce "Bardia Farrokhzad dominated that round. That's time! Farrokhzad's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight." My cornerman decided to commit an unforgivable homosexual act by slapping my ass before round 2. I had him publicly executed after the fight for such depravity. However, I was more focused on fighting him than you & paid for it. That won't be a factor this time."

@Ryan "I was a champion of the org you failed in. I would smash you."

"Who is this clown with 5 losses getting involved in title talk? Do yourself a favour and retire, or be retired, no self respecting org has ever had a Champion with your mediocre record"

White Jr then turned his attention back to his immediate opponent Farrokhzad

"Your chin is weak, the secret is out. I'm going to get to it eventually again....this is the same result. You get knocked out, I knock people out. I look forward to seeing you struggle to swim in the deep waters once more.....it's only a matter of time before I get to that weak chin".

Bobby Scott walks to the podium after his knockout victory of Korn Gracie.

BS - Tonight was fun, I needed this win. Now the history between Korn and I is over. I want to officially announce that I am a free agent. I don't know what this means for me but for now I am taking my time on making a decision. Sasha Rua is the champion and he's beaten me two times. I'm the guy with all the hype and rank but nowhere to go at 170. I want to thank Nick and everyone at WCF for giving me a home for the last 3 years of my life. I've made a lot of money to support my family and I even held Gold!! Appreciate you all!! To my fans , you guys are the best and believe me I'll be throwing down soon enough!!! 1 love

Ryan Anderson- I've only fought the best of the best and learned from my losses. Bruce White Jr would be the easiest opponent I've had in my last 10 fights.

I also fought all the monsters at 145 that scared Farrokhzad so much that he moved down to bantamweight in SAFO

Ramdin Bolsdeep and Johnathen Archer are the only 2 men that can stop a superfight between the 1&2 p4p fighters in the organization. Sasha Rua and Mickey Garica have both verbally agreed to the rematch for Rua's 170lb belt(pending victorys). Originally pitched about a month ago but Rua informed WCF he believed Archer deserved a crack at the title over the man who finished him in his WCF debut at 185. Rua has now informed management that after he takes care of Archer in his 3erd title defence he will be avenging his one and only loss by finishing Mickey Garica
