ericj
a year and I pretty sure I know do everything pretty well except set the aggressive/counter and damage/accuracy sliders any tips on how to have an idea on what your opponent is going to do? For ex. I know strike v. grappler you should go damage/counter, but when you both have the same time of style that's when it becomes complex for myself tbh any tips on that? actionjackson
That's the magic sauce! Can you knock your opponent out or do you need to go for a decision? If you go damage counter vs a grappler and you spend a lot of time on the ground but can't knock him out can you throw enough accurate punches to win a decision? All questions we have to ask yourselves for every fight.
Bwang
You can look at your opponents previous fights and see (/decipher) from the statistics whether he's going aggressive or counter, damage or accurate. Of course the success of a strike depends on skills as well as sliders, as well as luck, so you have to look into a number of fights to get a bigger picture. Then of course your opponent might switch style completely for the next fight. Those two sliders are key. (Even if you have a fighter who is on 100% see how it goes they will still obey your settings for those two sliders.) Each fighter will have a sweet spot that works for them, but you'll still have to change it up depending on opponents.
