A good place to start would be to read through this section of the forums right here. You don't need to read the entirety of these threads, but the first post or at least the first page in most cases here should give you a firm grasp of the principles of fighter creation and training and such. In other words most of the things that new players often miss for a while

Frankly, I wish I had found these when I first started. I read the Wiki extensively and I thought that gave me a good insight... not so much. These are very informative and should help you get into this more readily and be competitive much faster.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Create a 25 year old to start off he will have more points but train slower. I love creating my fighters in NY because theres a ton of gym's and org's and guys waiting for QFC's. Eventually create an 18 year old and train him up. Just some small things there, good luck(:

Yeah a 25 year old would be good for getting you some money coming in maybe. The rest I would make right away also to try and get as many as possible into the training process. I would seriously look into the VIP trial. If you like it then consider buying it... it will allow you to have up to ten fighters with an option to buy up to ten more slots. Will be a lot more going on then and lots less down time.

There are plenty of ways to gain some extra cash also. Get your guys signed to real orgs first off... the signing bonus will help you train longer before needing to fight before you are ready. You can write articles in the Tycoon Times Newspaper. It pays $3000 per article. You can also try and get a job writing reviews or previews. Lots of orgs pay good money for that stuff.

Also remember, you do not need to be in a top gym right away. Just a fitness gym at first since all you will be doing with your fighters is training cardio and weights which don't need coaches. Find a gym with brand new equipment and that is clean and you can find them as low as $49/week... maybe lower. Once you start working on your Secondaries or Primaries you can start sparring in sparring gyms or get into the somewhat more expensive gyms and training with coaches.

With regards to creating all your fighters in the same place I would say whatever is easier for you.Personally I have guys dotted around all over the place,I find that way there always seems to be something going on.It would be an idea scout out any location you are thinking of first though, see how many orgs and gym's there are and what they are like

Thank you a lot guys, very helpful.

I am just confused by one more thing, weight cut.

I made my fighter http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=192813 185lbs(middleweight)

yet now i aint sure will he automaticly cut down to 170 caz is says he can cut to 173,or will he stay middleweight

and i can choose if he will cut :) Thanks again.

Just sign him to a 185 lbs contract and he won't cut any weight.

hi can some1 tell me when i am at gmy at mma tycoon, what does that number next to training mean, like this Circuit Training (Speed) (8) 0Cardio...does 0 mean workout will be bad or is that number of ppl there.

If it is 0 ppl cardio and i put my fighter on cardio,he will still have a good workout but if 0 people are on sparing that its a ruind workout? :) thanks again hehe

The number in Parentheses is, in fact the number of people in that session. But remember that the Sparring sessions and Physical classes are different then coached classes.

Sparring sessions you want to have the largest class sizes possible in order to learn the most from that class.

With Physical classes (Cardio, Weights and Yoga) the class size is irrelevant since you are just running or riding a bike or lifting weights etc... You don't need a coach for them and therefore you could have 100 people in the session and it would not reduce your ability to gain from that session.

With the coached sessions the effectiveness of training is greatly affected by class size. You never want to be in one of those classes if there are more then 3 people in them. Class sizes of 1 or 2 are the best and anything above that begins to become less effective training. The CT class you mentioned with 8 people in it is pretty much useless. You will not learn anything from a class that big. Skip in and take a Yoga class instead. Or Cardio or Weights if you need to focus on Conditioning or Strength instead.

The only time I will even remotely consider a CT class with a size greater than 4 is for ticker maintenance. As I understand it (and experience seems to support this) even though I gain nothing from that session it will still knock tickers down. Even when I am looking to take tickers down I still look for the smallest class size of CT available. If I cannot find a small enough CT class I will look at a sparring session instead if there is a large enough one in that session.

You need VIP to really follow your training, it's really worth buying VIP. If you haven't already you should try the VIP trial. And energy recovers by you setting rest sessions instead of training something select no training.
